Fire couldn't help snickering. "Do I take good notes? Pwahahaha...." she laughed humorlessly. "I don't know. You tell me after this class," she replied as she turned to look over at Soap only to see him peering out of the window. It did seem pretty bright outside. It was a little after noon after all. "Sure," was all Fire remarked at his question. It was then that Fire heard someone else come in and turned her head to look at who it was. Another boy from that same lunch table. Though he looked more sullen than happy-go-lucky like he was before. And she also noticed he was holding a wad of bills with him. Wow what are you, a drug dealer? Trying to get rich with counterfeits? Won a game of Monopoly? Though Fire quickly glanced away and back down on her desk as soon as she noticed the guy.
"Wha-? Oh...yeah, um...her name is Dr. Kitty, and she's a FFXIII fangirl," replied Fire sighing at the memory. If she continued further, that would be the last sentence devoid of opinion. Though her attitude when stating it seemed to be enough. Turning to look back at Soap, she realized that he looked much older than herself and most of the students she's seen thus far at school. What's he doing here then? she wondered. She looked back down on her desk. Unknowingly she had ignored his sentence about wanting to be friends. Though in her life experiences thus far, she has never specifically asked someone to be her friend. It just happened. (Social link go?)
"Gu-! ahem...yes," replied Fire as she tried not to flinch away as soon as he extended his hand. "I'm Firekeyblade," she returned as she offered her own hand in a somewhat light handshake. She had tried very hard not to outwardly shout from being startled again. Fire doubted that she'd have that much self control a second time. After they shook hands, Fire decided to actually take a good look at the boy. Could this be her first friend? They were at the very least classmates.
Rosie watched silently as Anastasia went to sleep next to Alastair. She had heard that Anastasia can wander into others' dreams, though she herself wasn't so sure if that were true. Rosie had never had many dreams. Whenever she went to bed, all she saw was darkness. Calm, peaceful darkness. Surely that'd be a particularly boring place to wander into for Anastasia. Thus, she had somewhat doubted Anastasia's abilities. But now she had to trust them. And to her amazement, after a minute, Alastair's flesh restored itself in his arm. Rosie stood up in shock from the sight. That was not what she expected from this. Then again, she wasn't sure what she was supposed to expect. But as promised, Alastair's arm was completely healed, just about save for a few second degree burns. "Wow...it's a miracle..." whispered Rosie. Though I wonder if he's in deep pain. To suddenly have your nerves burned to ash and revived again, it's got to be painful, right?
Andrew had finally made his decision. Despite the fact that he was most likely going to get killed by either going alone or with the rapidly forming party, he acknowledged that he would sort of rather be killed by someone else like him. Someone somewhat human and not by a monster. Thus, he turned from the hallway and went back to joining with the group, though he stayed on the outskirts. Andrew could already tell that his time might not be long on this path as he noticed that thus far he had received two dirty looks from two different individuals. And he still didn't know why. For all he knew, he didn't do anything suspicious or dangerous even. He mentally shrugged. Whatever, the people in this place didn't have all their screws screwed in, just like him. He didn't introduce himself or add in that he had decided to be with the group. He simply stayed silent and waited for a decision to come. Andrew hoped they would decide soon as the longer they stood around deliberating like he had, the less time they had before the monster found them, bored from playing around with the bodies of guards and orderlies. He shivered at the thought, though his face stayed stoic as it had before.
"Hm? Oh, of course not," replied Fire to the boy's question. Of course she noticed him immediately as he stepped foot into the classroom, however she only gave him a few glances, each one looking more and more nervous than the previous one. And again, she had recognized him as the boy who had greeted her before as soon as he entered. Fire tended to be a fairly observant individual. At least she liked to think so. As the boy had picked the seat directly next to hers, aisle wise, she started to feel her temperature rise steadily, no doubt her cheeks were red. Well. I guess the next encounter wasn't as awkward as I thought it'd be. And he hasn't asked about that incident yet. Though I guess he will soon. She looked down at her empty desk and leaned back into a more relaxed position, crossing her ankles. Might as well be a bit more comfortable until class started.
Add Pika and he'll take care of you.
After looking at the menu for a time and comparing prices as she wasn't that loaded with cash at the moment, Fire finally came to a decision. "Um yes, I'd like to have a smoothie please. Do you know what flavors they come in?" she asked the nearest available waitress or waiter. A smoothie seemed like the best deal on the menu. Though the other desserts and foods sounded fantastic as well, Fire was pushed for cash right now but once she had enough from this job, she'd definitely visit this place far more often.
When she had fallen out of the door, she thought the girl playing the violin would be startled or something, especially when Fire finally got up onto her feet. But to her surprise, she didn't even seem to notice the incident and left the premises out of another door. Huh. Well I guess that's that. What times is it? She asked herself as she looked at the watch on her left wrist. Oh about a couple minutes more. Eh, I'll just head to class. Fire decided as she headed out of the same door the girl had and went in the direction of her classroom. When she was back inside the school building, she saw no trace of the girl from before. Well, I do walk a bit slowly. Ah well. Maybe there will be another opportunity to introduce myself and make friends. And not fail miserably at having a healthy social life. After Fire had arrived at the classroom, she claimed a seat towards the middle back where she could sort of slack off some.
Holy crap these stories are amazing. XD These crack pairings don't seem all that cracked when written like this though, haha! There were a few misspellings and grammatical errors in every story, but I'd rather not go through them. Makaze probably got most of them anyway. SO! I look forward to more crack pairings and more storytime!
The hallway that led to the door was more isolated and quieter than the cafeteria. As she approached the door, Fire could hear a faint melody. Music? Where? Hmm...sounds like a string instrument...viola? Violin? Oh that was a high note. Definitely violin. Fairly skilled player too. But where are they? Moving around the door trying to get a good view outside, she couldn't find the source. She then pressed her face against it looking to the far left and looking to the far right. Oh! There they are. I guess I shouldn't bother them. I would kill someone who broke me out of the zone back when I played piano. It took all that I had to force myself to practice. Fire stepped back from the door and noticed the grease mark on the glass from her face. She heaved a sigh and tried her best to clean it off with her sleeve. Oh come on... Scrubbing harder, Fire accidentally pushed on the handle of the door and fell out of the doorway with a surprised yelp. "GWAH! Goh..." The door swung shut behind her with a loud clang. Awwww shiz what if it's locked from the outside?! Mentally facepalming at her stupidity, still lying on the ground, Fire sighed and eventually dragged herself back up to a standing position.
Fire had checked in and was assigned to run one of the roller coasters. It was fairly quiet and there was barely anyone there save for the employees. She wondered if there was actually ANYONE at all in the park. Well, it is a weekday which means school and work. Which further meant probably no one would be waiting in a long line for this roller coaster. Coming to this conclusion, Fire turned to go to the Heart's Content cafe. Yayeah! Erry single day! she mentally cheered as a smile came to her face. As soon as she stepped in, she immediately went to look at the menu to see what they had. She also admired the interior design. Such color and warmth.
Fire turned and looked at Soap, but didn't stop her stride. She didn't say anything to him and continued to walk away. What the? Do I know him? I don't think I do...why'd he greet me then? So strange. After walking further a little more, she wanted to facepalm and smack herself. That was pretty rude of me, wasn't it? He even called me "Miss". Hahaha....I guess his impression of me's going to be bad from now should we meet again. Fire knew it was just an excuse, but it was sort of the morning still, and she did go to bed somewhat late waiting for her roommates to show up. Oh I am so not looking forward to the next time we meet. What an awkward conversation that would be. And that guy seems like the kind of person who would approach me again questioning my behavior. Tch. She gritted her teeth just thinking about that possibility. It was then she noticed a door outside. Are we allowed to go outside? Well, might as well check out where it leads.
Fire couldn't help eavesdropping on the guys' conversation at a table near the line. Oh I guess a majority of them are my classmates, she thought as she inched further up the line closer to food. Most people complained that school food sucked crap. Fire didn't mind too much. Food was food after all. Hmm....I haven't made a single friend yet. Well, all in due time. Having paid for the lunch, Fire turned around and looked at the vast cafeteria. She didn't see many open tables. She did, however see some benches. Oh ho. The lonely benches where only loners go to sit at. Welp, I'll just eat my lunch and be on my way. And so she did just that, sitting alone on the bench and eating lunch by herself. After finishing, she threw away her trash and left the cafeteria, wondering what she should do then. I've got a few minutes before class starts again, so...I guess I'll just check the place out.
Fire eventually got tired of waiting for her roommates who didn't seem to show up at the moment. So she just decided to screw it and go to sleep as she was already tired. Forget manners. Sleep was important. Though try as she might, she couldn't sleep soundly in a new place, not to mention when she wasn't in REM sleep, she had semi-sensitive hearing. Regardless of the night of "rest", Fire looked forward to the first day and seeing how Dr. Kitty would be like. She was shocked and surprised at her behavior. Mortified that she had a teacher she couldn't take seriously. Oh god, I wish I was a year younger to be taught be Professor Mish. At least she seems like she could teach some relevant information...god damn my luck... cursed Fire mentally. At last, it was lunchtime, and Fire was relieved that "class" was over. Even if Dr. Kitty wasn't the least bit embarrassed by her behavior, Fire felt embarrassed for her. Yawning, she walked to the end of the line for school lunch not really paying attention to much at all, her eyes droopy and apathetic.
WHoakay. BIC- Firekeyblade tried to walk nonchalantly through the park gates, as if she didn't care all that much(which she sort of didn't) but a good amount of tension was still evident. This was one of the few decisions she made on a whim. A week earlier, she had seen a flier of the park and it looked like a lot of fun. The fine print at the very bottom of the flier had caught her eye. "Now hiring". She had always wanted to work in an amusement park. The operators looked sort of bored, but as long as the coworkers were fun and cool, what did it matter if a job was boring? Besides, she was getting paid to push buttons. She didn't have to smile too much out of force, and it also had the most popular cafe and inn to ever grace this place. All in all it sounded like a good deal. But of course Fire, as she somewhat preferred to be called officially (though she didn't mind other nicknames like the commonly used FKB just that she always found it somewhat amusing if in a situation someone called her name and an onlooker might've thought it was an emergency though that hasn't happened thus far), was always nervous on the first day of anything. Even if she didn't outwardly show it. Thus, with tension in her shoulders, she trudged to where the e-mail said the supervisor would be to report in and get acquainted with what she'd have to do. Just relax. Come on. Lighten up. It's a theme park! Go buy a snack or something afterward. Yeah. Just come on. It'll be cool. Yes. It will be cool. She is cool. Everything is okay. Yes.
While deliberating on what course of action he should take, Andrew didn't even notice the sound of approaching feet until they were almost in front of him. Confused by the sound, he looked down and noticed another little girl glaring fiercely at him. Taken aback, he unconsciously took a step back before being brushed pass by the girl a little harshly. Dazed by the memory of the ferocity of her gaze, Andrew ventured a glance back at her. The rabbit she carried was pretty cute, he admitted, though one part seemed darker than the other part. Well that's strange. I wonder how that happened. In a far part of his mind, Andrew subconsciously guessed it was from being in blood somehow. Though Andrew himself wasn't that aware of this inference. Turning back around, he continued to wonder which path he should take. Be with the group, or not with the group? Equal chances of being killed in both, he guessed. Just pick one...choose the one you think would be the lesser hell.

When they had finally arrived at the bed and breakfast, Sammy began to breathe more easily. After all, they were safe now. Her tibs burned a bit from all the fastwalking, but probably not nearly as much as Cal's as he tended to run and exercise other muscles, not just fastwalk like her. Still, she looked forward to finally resting. They had arrived by car the previous day and rested then, but Sammy was just exhausted from all the happenings today. She was almost as tired when they had arrived, since she had been driving the whole way, and knowing that Cal's life was in her hands in the car, she feared the whole way that they'd both die in a tragic accident because of her carelessness. Thankfully that didn't happen, but now she has to be worried that they'll both die in a tragic kidnapping. But Sammy's always worried about something or someone. That was considered normal. Somewhat. As soon as the door was shut in their twin bed bedroom, Sammy turned to Cal with burning eyes and raised a finger, "All right dude. FIRST OF ALL. Don't EVER go off and do your own thing again. ALL RIGHT?! That's dangerous! And SECOND of all, I'm going to take a shower first and try to make it quick for you. I don't know what time we should wake up tomorrow, but...uh...eh...we'll shoot for 9. If we miss it, that's all right. Though I'll be sad if we end up waking at 12..." mumbled Sammy as she gathered her sleeping clothes and immediately went to take a shower. In 15 minutes, she was out and prepared to sleep immediately, having brushed her teeth while she was in the bathroom. Within moments, she was out like a light.
It's a sort of flag spinning...thing...though I think it could also be guns?....Anyway, the guard tends to accompany the band and while the band plays, the guard performs with spinning a school flag or some such. Also. That video made me want to burn everything. B| Just incinerate all of it. Burn it all! And I had to watch it a second time to see what the subs were too. B|
