Candy? Vexen grabbed up Demyx carefully. "Yes. Marluxia is asleep. But you should not bother him now." The scientist carried the youngster to her door, glancing back to make sure that the man resting on her bed was alright. "Tell me, Demyx, do you know where these candies came from?" Carrying the water child, Vexen opened the door to her room and hit something. Both she and Demyx were startled and looked behind the door to see Axel, his forehead a little red from the impact. ----------------- OoC: This will probably be one of my last posts since I have to wake up in about 4 hours...
Vexen smiled at being called mommy as she hugged the child once more. She stood up, took Demyx's hand in hers and asked, "Can you tell me how you became like this?" Carefully rubbing away one of the toddler's tear, she smiled sweetly awaiting an answer. Knowing the source of the problem would make finding a solution a thousand times easier.
tell them they needed five more words for their post what would you do if you were kicked off kh-vids?
Vexen warmly hugged the young child back, regretting that Marluxia had to be the cause of his pains. Whispering softly, she said, "It's alright, Demyx. Everything will be alright." She patted the youngster's back. "I'll figure out how to change you back and then it will all be back to normal." Vexen pulled the child gently off of her and looked him in the eyes. "How does that sound?" She smiled warmly.
ahhh! first kairi... i mean mari... and now you?! oh, eternal confusion!
i will forever be confused when you post now... but i like the new name! ;)
Almost as soon as Vexen had fallen asleep, her mind was again brutally awakened as the scream of a young child reverbertated in her ears. Sitting striaght up in surprise, the scientist looked down to see Marluxia, then looked to her other side to see a toddler Demyx pointing at the flower. Groggy from just waking up, Vexen got off the bed and kneeled next to the young nobody. "What's the matter, Demyx?"
*sigh* this was like breathing in fresh air! i could not agree more with your post. ;)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PRINCESSOFHEARTS!!!! <3 I hope you enjoy your special day!
Vexen parted her lips from Marluxia's and realized that he had passed out. She became worried. "Marluxia?" She kissed him again, on the lips then on the cheeks and forehead. When he did not respond to her verbally or physically, she dragged him to her room and laid him on her bed carefully. Her emotions, which she had held locked up for so long, were now pouring out of her like a waterfall. She clutched the area where her heart should have been and sat next to her significant other, kissing him once more lightly on his lips. Then, the woman walked to her lab and gathered some supplies. Bringing them back to her room, she set up a hospital like room where she could keep watch over Marluxia's stats. She wanted to make sure that Marluxia would wake up alright and able to share his recently confessed love with her. Laying on the bed next to the flower, she caressed his face until she herself finally drifted off into the land of dreams.
i use to think about this a lot. i once thought like roxas did in his first posts, that we just stop existing and become nothing. then i grew to realize that there is some strange energy in everyone and everything that goes beyond death. i do not like to sell myself out to any one idea, but the one that i like most is that our energy/soul/essence/whatever-you-want-to-call-it is free of the body and becomes a part of everything. everything unifies in the end. this is an idea presented in taoism, one that i like very much. its all about universal unity. reincarnation is something ive thought about often but im not so sure i believe in it the way everyone else does, if i believe it at all. i think that maybe some of that unified energy may one day be reborn into another creature, but i dont think that it is all the energy of the same being. but im really not sure if i believe this part at all. anyways, i have not found a set belief, and i dont think i ever will. nowadays i dont think about this too often (unless it is brought up in a discussion like this) because i think that life should be lived without worries of such a distant, different, and unanswerable future.
Vexen's body froze as Marluxia's words swam over her, feeding her own love for the man. Her doubts were diminished as she realized that Roxas had only been her protection against these foreign feelings she so feared. But now, she let go of her fears. She smiled, playing with the flower's hair. "I love you, too, Marluxia." Then without thinking, Vexen leaned in slowly, her eyes glowing, and kissed the nobody before her passionately.
Although I do not favor one instrument over others, I do love the guitar. So I wanted to share my fav. guitarist and see other people's favs. Mine are (in no particular order): Steve Howe (from the band YES) Jimmy Page (from the band Led Zeppelin) Alex Lifeson (from the band Rush) Pierre Bensusan Steve Hackett (from the band Genesis)
i love queen. theyre not my favorite, by they are definitely awesome. bohemian rhaspody is awesome, as is freddie mercury (what a voice!).
i'd love to read the comics. im sure they are far better than the movie (which is saying A LOT!).
"Marluxia!" Vexen fell to her knees beside the man, lifting his head onto her lap. She was shocked and did not know what to do. Craddling the man back and forth, she opened a portal into her lab and, with much trouble, dragged the man in. She needed to help him. If only she knew what was wrong with him. Vexen lay the man on the floor, unable to move him onto any beds. She ran to the sink and filled a cup with cool water, returning with it and a rag. Wetting the rag, she placed it over the man's forehead. She wanted to plug him up to her machines to reach the center of the problem, but she could not bring herself to leave him alone. Instead, she lay beside him, talking to him gently. "Marluxia, are you ok? What's the matter? Let me help you." She brushed back his hair as she continued her whispered babble.
i believe that the soul, as stated, is the essence of life. it is a person's energy. im not sure what happens to it when we die, but one theory that i like is that it is freed from its prison (the body) and joins a greater energy, or rather becomes unified with everything in the universe. its all very tao-istic.
Vexen perked her ears. Did I just hear someone yell for help? Listening intently for a second cry, she heard none. The woman set down her instruments and ran out to the hall. Now her motherly instincts were kicking in and she feared for the toddlers. I hope none of them have hurt themselves. But what she found was something quite different. Marluxia was on his knees, and it seemed as though her were in pain. "Marluxia!" ---------------------- OoC: It's alright, PoH. And happy brithday! Yay for you!
first off, when someone said that dreams are a recap of events, i dont think that that meant that the recap was literal. like when you dream youre naked, you are recapping on a feeling or insecurity you have, or, Roxas, when you dream you are having sex, you may be dealing with some frustration or desire. i've taken a psychology class and we had a chapter on dreams. supposedly, there are three different views on dreams. 1. dreams are nothing more than a biological mechanism of the body that helps to reorganize information and memories processed throughout the day. when the brain does this, it inadverdently produces neuronal impulses that cause images in the head, hence you have dreams. 2. dreams are only a psychological mechanism that allows us to understand out emotions and actions. they directly relate to our life, though they are sometimes dealing with it abstractedly. 3. dreams are both biological and psychological and serve both functions previously mentioned. i like this idea best. now, this is what the experts think, though they themselves are unsure. i found the idea of it being memories of another life very interesting. anyways, just adding my 2 cents! A Shining Armour, i like how you put it!
Vexen walked quickly back to her lab. She wanted to figure out some way to age the toddler members back to their original age. Still, to do so she would have to know how they had become toddlers in the first place. If some kind of potion had been used, she could surely find a reversal, but if magic was involved she would be powerless to change the effects. I wonder if Marluxia is behind all of this... or maybe Axel? The former sounded much more likely, though in reality Vexen knew so little of the situation that neither nobody could be at fault and some outer force could be at work here. The woman brushed that idea aside and instead, once in her lab, began to search for ingrediants and books that may assist her in her quest. Busy as she was, she overlooked the mess Marluxia had left behind when he had made his little sweets.
