Ranger VI twisted his body so Canary's kick missed his elbow. He turned on instinct, grabbing her leg and holding it beneath his arm. With his free hand, he playfully tapped her shin. "Good try," he mused before grabbing her leg with both hands and spinning, tossing her into the wall to put distance between them. He crouched, bending his knees and spreading his arms wide in an odd pose. "Now try harder!"

The young SHIELD agent chuckled. "I'm SHIELD. Hacking into comm-links kinda comes with the spy gig. Besides, who do you think supplied your team with your commlink?" Looking up, she saw the agent in charge of the operation start checking his gear. "Looks like we're about there. See you soon, red." Hanging up on the speedster, she checked her own gear. Her guns were in working order, her body armor in-tact, and her communication gear was clear. Of course, there was her secret weapon, but that was for emergencies.

The line "there's a special place in Hell for you" just doesn't carry weight when I say it.

    Official cast:
    Dacre Montgomery - Red Ranger
    RJ Cycler - Blue Ranger
    Naomi Scott - Pink Ranger
    Ludi Lin - Black Ranger
    Becky Gomez - Yellow Ranger
Apparently, they will have the names of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Jason Lee Scott, Billy Cranston, Kimberly Hart, Zack Taylor, and Trini Kwani)
Scheduled to be released Jan. 13, 2017.

Evidently (and I really hope this changes), the film will follow the current series (Dino Charge) with the Dino Charge characters appearing at the beginning. Scorpina, a minion of Rita Repulsa, will be an antagonist attempting to access the Morphing Grid which allows Rangers to access past, present, and future Ranger experiences.
Personally, I think the film should either be completely original, an adaptation of Mighty Morphing, or a combination of the franchise's different series. Actually, anything that's not canon with the current -or any other- series as that may bog it down. Also, I haven't kept up with Power Rangers since Mystic Force, but I doubt that the current season will last until 2017 and it wouldn't make too much sense to make the film for those who watch the current season.

I like that they're using relatively unknown actors for the roles. Becky G is the only one I recognize and that's from her music. Hoping that Jason Frank makes a cameo and Bryan Cranston voices a monster.

Ranger VI chuckled. "Why don't you try it and see? Maybe I'll give your weapons back, too," he replied, grabbing his Blade Blaster from the hilt and aiming at Canary between the bars. "It'd be that easy, wouldn't it? Pull the trigger. Bang. Just like that," beneath his helmet, his eyes narrowed, "but it wouldn't mean anything, would it? Killing you is pointless, but beating you?" He pulled his weapon back, spinning the gun and placing it on a table, along with his Dragon Dagger. "Do you even understand that? Or is that concept foreign to an assassin?" The contempt in his voice was intentional. The green Power Ranger placed his gloved hands on the Dragon Shield over his torso, each hand over a breast. There was a bright glow as the golden bands over his biceps and the Dragon Shield disappeared. His Ranger powers gave him enhanced strength, stamina, durability, and speed, but his Shield made him even stronger and that just wasn't fair. "So here's the deal, Tweety Bird," he placed a hand on a steel bar from her cell, gripped it tight, and used his enhanced strength to lift the door and open it. "You want to get out of here?" He quickly stepped in and closed it behind him as one of Ultron's bodies closed in to observe. "Earn it!" He lunged forward, his left fist aimed at Canary's head.

Grayson scowled at Superman and Quicksilver leaving, but then nodded towards Batman. "Thanks, but I'm not headed there just yet. Boss man's got one more errand for me, but I'll meet you there." He looked at Raven and Daredevil, silently hoping that they would be as useful as he planned. "There's a plane for everyone on the roof. Pilot's name is Ketch; he'll take you to Sokovia and he'll find Canary. Don't be reckless. The ride's a flying fortress able to take on a small army with a communications and intelligence system that's completely off the grid so Ultron won't detect you coming. It can break the sound barrier two times over and it comes with a nice little camouflage mode that could fool Superman." He grinned to his 'partner' as he started to walk out, "We call it the Invisible Jet. Try not to crash it." And with that, he left to take the Batmobile for one more spin.

Simply nodding in agreement to the plan, Vision started to float towards the ceiling. He stopped to look at Iron Man, "I believe you should be the one to confront Ultron. He's waiting for you. He hates you the most." With that quip, he floated through the ceiling on his way to the plane, not bothering to explain that he could move through solid objects.

"Wait, what? He can phas-you know what, never mind," Cyclops felt a headache coming on, but pushed it back. He said nothing about Quicksilver's departure --Pietro was worried more about Wanda than anything and that was his whole reason for "assisting" the X-Men-- but hoped the speedster wouldn't be more of a hindrance than help. Silently agreeing with Superman's and Batman's plan, Cyclops signaled for the X-Men to follow the Justice Avengers to the "Invisible Jet." Suddenly, he stopped and decided to take leadership. "Jean, I want you to use your powers and make the Sokovians evacuate the city. I know Professor X told you to never use your powers to force anyone to do anything, but we need them out of the city as soon as possible. Then I want you to help her," he motioned to Raven (and wondered if she was a mutant), "get into Wanda's head and take her out of the battle." He then looked at Gambit and Rogue, but added nothing. They should know what he was thinking: they were there to protect mutantkind and, aside from Scarlet Witch, there was another mutant matter to take care of: a clone of someone close to them.

"Yeah, got it. Thanks for the heads-up, Dick," the young woman said, a hint of something in her voice as she hung up on her fellow SHIELD agent. She -along with a squad of SHIELD volunteers- were in the cargobay of a Quinjet, heavily armed and en route to the X-Institute. X-Force, SHIELD's mutant division, were busy fighting a group of "Ultronified Sentinels" at a Hydra base (what was Hydra doing with Sentinels? That's new) and the main X-Men were scattered either helping the Justice Avengers or protecting mutants elsewhere from Ultron. Unfortunately, a few of Ultron's Sentinels managed to slip away, locate the X-Institute (a secret known only to a few SHIELD agents out of X-Force and the X-Men) and were headed there for, well, bad stuff. With everyone's numbers spread thin, it was up to volunteers to help the X-Men defend their students. Agent Grayson let her know the Flash was on his way to help, too. Dialing a number she shouldn't have known, the female SHIELD agent called directly into Flash's commlink, "Flash? This is you, right? The Scarlet Speedster and the fastest man alive, well one of them? This is SHIELD plane 6-1-6. Just letting you know we're on our way to the X-Institute to give you a hand. Situation is that the Sentinels aren't there yet, but they're close. Students are in a bunker since the big X-hitters are out and about so it'll be up to you and us to keep them safe, capiche?"

I don't know how to word this, but there used to be a feature way back when. I think it was on vBulletin before the move, but it may have been more recent? I can't remember when I saw the feature last.
When responding to a thread using the "More Options" option (as in, not Quick Replying), you could see the last posts in that thread if you scrolled down. Can we bring that back if possible?

EDIT: Specifically, it'd help me out when responding to Role-Plays and some discussion threads when I have to look back at certain posts instead of opening a new tab for the same thread.

So I'm at work (a sandwich shop), when a girl opens the door with her dog in her arms and says
"On a scale of one to ten, how okay would it be if I brought my dog in for about five minutes?"
"Unless it's a service animal, not okay at all? Sorry."
"Can he be a service animal for, like, five minutes while I order?"

    ...uhhh no, ****. It's a restaurant.

The sound of gears grinding was unsettling, but Ranger VI didn't mind. He didn't mind much of anything these days. Tommy Oliver's memory pre-Hydra was vague, but it didn't matter. He was an orphan who took up martial arts and found out he had a knack for it. He had other interests like dinosaurs and cars, but fighting made him feel at peace like there was nothing else. It wasn't about violence -it never had been- or even self-defense (well sometimes). At its core, it was about expressing yourself and drowning the world out, almost as if in a dance. At least...that's how it was before he ended up with Hydra. How long ago had it been? A couple of years? The details were murky. Now, fighting was about being stronger, faster, better. He fought to fulfill his true potential as a Power Ranger now. Hydra found a way to connect him to the Morphing Grid and, though he didn't understand the science behind it, he was now connected to the knowledge and experience contained within the Grid and it was wonderful. His truest potential, his real self as a fighter, it was there, hidden within the Grid -he could hear it calling-, and he was going to fight his way to it. Hydra was no longer with Ultron, even if the machine was using their resources, so why was he? How he went from Hydra's experiments to Ultron's plan of saving the world (with the caveat that Tommy would become stronger) was irrelevant.

Ultron stayed true to his word. Ranger VI now found himself staring at the unconscious body of Canary, the best fighter in the Justice Avengers. If he could beat her...would he unlock his true self? There was no doubt. As Ultron's many bodies worked around in his underground lair working on...whatever it was and the rest of the team were off doing whatever they were, Ranger VI was going to take his chance. "Wakey, wakey," the green-clad young man said, knocking on the gate to Canary's cell. "It's time meet your destiny," he said, his voice distant within his helmet.

Just an update. This is still being developed. I was planning on staggering it with my other RP so as not to start them at the same time, but it should have been posted by now. I had a good bit typed up and then lost it when my laptop died (#irresponsibletechie) so now it's just regaining the motivation to type everything back up again.
If anyone is wanting to help with any aspect of it, feel free to share (in this thread or personally with me). Hopefully, I'll have it retyped up within the next couple of days.

It makes sense. I just disagree with how you see it. Not saying one way is right or wrong, but it isn't stressful for me at all to respond the way I do. It's more stressful for me to "let it go." It goes back to the Donald Trump conversation on the last page (page before?); hating him doesn't take any energy for me, but not reacting to his comments would be a lot worse. I guess it's different strokes for different folks. Personally, I love learning about religion and how different people have a relationship with it from a standard-of-life point of view. I hate hearing about religion and how people outside of it are supposed to act within its rules (here's looking at you, future in-laws [I hope they don't see this]). One of my favorite conversations was when I met a former (allegedly) girlfriend of Jimi Hendrix's bass player at work. I don't think it was the right avenue to have the conversation by far, but she told me about how Jesus saved her from drugs and a bad life in general and that stuff and she praises him everyday. That's awesome. That's her relationship with Jesus. That I actually like hearing about. At no point in her conversation did she address me having a relationship with Jesus or anything. Like I said earlier, I don't care about a confirmation of someone's belief -I can respect that- it's a direct and unwarranted rebuttal of someone else's belief that gets under my skin.

Personally, as an Atheist (I'm not going to speak for all, but this is true at least for the ones that I know), saying you'll pray for a nonbeliever is offensive. Praying for them itself? No, that's perfectly fine. I don't see the need -if you know they're a nonbeliever or a follower of a different belief- for the praying person to tell the nonbeliever they'll pray for them. If it makes you feel better, then do it privately (like Jesus said); there's no need to announce that intent without challenging that belief. A friend of mine who is a very out-spoken Atheist recently had a death in his immediate family. I don't know how his personal life was, but at least on Facebook his page was flooded "praying for you" comments. Now, I'm sure some of those people didn't know he was an Atheist (not sure how as out-spoken as he is about it; if they knew about the death, I figured they'd know about that, but whatever), but judging from his reaction, a lot of them knew. Outright telling him that they were praying for him while he was in mourning did more harm than good; it's a challenge of his beliefs at a very inappropriate time. I get it: praying for him makes them feel better, like they're helping without actually having done anything but there's no need to tell us that. And of course, he blew up over it and most of them instead defending their choice of praying for him, which could only make him feel worse. Someone even pointed out that his mom had asked for prayers. Again, that's fine. Let her know you're praying for them but there is absolutely no need to go out of the way you tell him you're praying for him and then defending the act after being confronted about it. My grandmother doesn't know I'm an Atheist (and she better never find out) so when she tells me she's praying for me and all that jazz and god bless me, it doesn't bother me. My mother, on the other hand, knows and still does it daily while telling me that I'm not allowed to talk to my little sister about being an Atheist because "she needs morals" (strangely enough, she acknowledged that I'm a moral person with good principles. Don't know where she thinks I got it from).

I know there are less crazy religious people (I'm marrying one of them<3). I know there are crazy nonreligious people. But I wasn't talking about all of any group. Sorry if I accidentally made that generalization. Though it may be because I'm surrounded by religion, but what I speak of is a trend I see throughout the Christian base, even the well-intentioned ones. A lot of them are very open-minded, they just don't know better; like people who use offensive language without realizing it's offensive (on another minority note, my girlfriend's father recently said that I'd fit in when we went to eat at Mexican restaurant knowing full well that I'm Dominican and look more like him than I did our waiter. He wasn't trying to be racist, but it was racist nonetheless).[DOUBLEPOST=1446349097][/DOUBLEPOST]
This is completely unrelated to the current conversation, but on a similar note, someone left a business card for their catering company on our bulletin board for customers. We're a restaurant that relies heavily on catering. It did not go over well with my manager.
