Add more effect to, I see what you are trying to do but it needs more to make it work better, and reverse the in and out pattern of the pentooling I think it would look better. Plus BG and render don't match to well, its throwing off the color scheme a bit.
Some are made from fan art...never bad, don't use fan art. Second they lack depth and effect and flow. Work on these as well as basic things like lighting, brushing, and filter use. Look up some tutorials you can find them here and on DA as well as render sites.

Chaser - I love the effect in this tag, the sharpening and blur are spot on. Though I did like the text'd version better. Split - I liked it but it needed more to it, for its simplicity it was really well done and showed a good amount of depth but I would have liked to see more effect to it. GX - There really isn't a whole lot to this tbh, but I did like how it flowed over I would have loved to see more effects added to it to give it more depth, but the text is well done.
