Riku isnt taken by surprise by the slap. he realized his mistake. he doesnt turn his head back to Sora or Kairi. actually, he turns his back to them. "no one deserves to be in his position. i jes meant that i should have helped him in some way...before this happened. i wouldve given my life if it meant saving his." Riku avoided names on purpose. he headed for the hospital room door. he doesnt even glance up at Namine. OOC: the moment Sora got hit XD
"we jes have to hope for the best. no matter how bad it seems." listen to me. ive got nothing. im jes trying to make the girls feel better. maybe Sora wont make it through. Why did this have to happen to you Sora? "i should be the one in that bed," Riku says quietly aloud without realizing it.
"Yeah, i feel it too. well jes have to remember for him, if thats the case." Riku squeezes Kairis shoulder, sensing her coming tears.
Riku finally finds himself and walks up next to Kairi. He puts his hand on her shoulder to comfort her. then he says, to comfort himself more than Kairi, "Sora's fighting this." he kind of laughs. "For all i know, in his heart, hes already hanging out with us again."
Riku goes over and puts his hand on top of everyone elses. He takes his time looking into each face. You guys... He gives a big grin to them all. "Friends!"
Riku doesnt go up to Sora too quickly. he takes in the sight. everything feels so...so calm... OOC: i was getting stuff done i slacked on all week + i had 4 classes :(
Riku stood silently as Namine and Kairi talked. he was itching to see Sora for some reason. i gotta see how hes doing myself.
Riku smiles at the sight of a wet Sora. No matter what, he's still my friend. "Sora, you're just upset that I'm stronger than you." He stretches out on the sand to dry his own pants off. "Actually, come to think of it, I bet Kairi could even take you," he says with a chuckle, looking over at Kairi.
Riku catches the wooden sword Umi threw him. He is still laughing. "Relax, guys! You know I'm just playing around. Right, Sora?" He slaps Sora on the back (not hard). But I probably did go a little overboard... Riku starts to head for dry sand. "And I'll duel you later, Umi. I just want to relax today." He throws the sword back to Umi.
i loved the part where you rambled on about the voice from kh1. it is hilarious :D

Riku stands up. "What, Sora? You're not mad at me are you?" He stands up and grabs Sora's arm. Riku drags him to the water and dunks his head into it. Riku laughs. "Bring back memories?" OOC: I'll be waiting rufus. :p
OOC: no, i was gonna do homework then stopped Riku mentally prepares himself for what may happen. "ok." they make it into the hospital lobby. Kairi, be strong...
