    Escape!

    You are accepted.

    Name:
    Kai

    Gender:
    Female

    Age:
    17

    Power:
    Object Manipulation

    Appearance:
    http://images1.fanpop.com/images/photos/2400000/Emo-Anime-Guy-anime-guys-2461951-300-379.jpg

    Personality:
Kai is slightly (or rather, almost completely) withdrawn from the full reality of the world, at times. He can be difficult to work with, and will often attempt to push others around, and take control of situations on his own. But in the end, he cares about those around him, and those that are like him. (Yeah, subpar for me, but I'll make things clearer in the RP.

    Bio:
From early one in his life, Kai had been known to posses these, "odd mentalities". As referred to by his parents, he was often causing things to happen without even moving. In his sleep, he would cause his bed to rise to the cieling. When passing lamps, they would shatter upon the floor as he walked. And still, his parents were none the wiser of it all, and ultimately, just gave up on trting to figure it out at all.

It wasn't until TSY found him that even he began to understand. They came to him, telling him that they could help him, teach him to the powers with which he hd been endowed, and make them powerful. But all they managed to produce was something that left Kai dissatisfied with their work. He had, in truth, gained a greater level of control over his powers, but at the cost of something that had been, at the time, valuable to him: the power. Before his training, his abilities had far greater power than they would after the fact. Enraged by this, he distanced himself from the TSY agents, and testers as best he could, until finally, the day came for him to make his escape....

    Name:
He's not entirely sure. The only name that he's ever gone by is "The Boy", so he sticks with that.

    Age:
He seems to have lost track of things, but he fancies himself as being in his twenties.

    Gender:
The only thing that he's really sure of here, is that he is in fact, Male.

    Appearance:
The Boy is perhaps the most pathetic looking excuse for a human that one could possibly look upon. He stands at a height of roughly 6'5'', made thinner by that fact there is so little fat, or muscle on him. He is, essentially, skin and bone to the core. His face is a paled, sickly, starved, white, with smudges of dirt lining all around, and is oft seen in a depressed, yet calmed state of expression. His eyes, a bright blue, are hidden from view behind a matted mop of dusty blonde hair.

He is adorned bay a torn, beaten, and downright dirt covered set of clothes, consisting of a brown hooded sweatshirt, bearing a yellow outline of a crescent moon, a pair of tight jeans, which, surprisingly, fit only loosely around his waist. Capping off this appearnace is a pair of black, worn out converse brand shoes.

    Powers:
The Boy, as he is known, is gifted with the powers of the psion, or a psychic. On the base of this power, he is able to ustilize the power of telekinesis in many of his attacks, as well as the distribution of psionic energy blasts, as well as performing telepathy. Yet the most frightening of his powers is known as cosmic pyrokinesis, the ability to generate, and manipulate fire that can exist regardless of the adverse conditions that normally hinder it. It can exist even in vacuums where oxygen is not present, and can be summoned forth even when under water. It can be manipulated to hurt foes mantally, physically, or both, and only harms those people or objects which he wills it to.

    Escape!

This was a short lived RP on another forum I've been on. The creator of the RP there admitted to having taken the idea from another, though the other was not known. Nonetheless, it was, in my opinion, a great idea, and whoever deserves the credit for it, deserves the credit, not myself. Many of the additions that have come upon it were the result of the last attempt.

(Bear in mind that this has been changed little, for simplicities' sake).

    Here's the story:

The government has set up a secret organization called, TSY.
It captures children with, 'special' powers and tests them to see what in the brain triggers this.
The powers are realistic. Nothing like flying, super speed, none of that. It's mind powers, like telepathy, premonition, object manipulation, and special senses. So… your all teenagers that were captured by TSY when you were only about 8 and 9. Your parents are long gone, the government got rid of them, and as teens… you decided to escape. You all ran away and set up camp in a small cave. You have no idea where you are. You have to keep moving or the government will catch up with you.
All of you stay together, because over the years you’ve become all each other had.

Here are the powers to chose from:

Special Senses- You can sense what a person is like when you meet them. What they have done, what they're planning, wheather their good or bad. It's like, seeing a card face-down on a table and knowing that it's the King of Spades. You can sense danger and changes in the weather. Stuff like that.

    Premonition-
You can see in the future. Nothing special, like real visions, you know what's coming because something in your mind tells you so. Similer to special senses, but you can get a more detailed outlook. Like... where the bad weather will happen... or... why the danger will occur.

Telepathy- You get glimpses of people's thoughts. You can't dig deep in there, you can skim their outer thoughts. Like... their exact thoughts at that very moment.

    Object Manipulation (Telekinesis)- nothing special. You can turn on the lights when you walk in a building, you can move things a few feet, and you can raise things off the ground within a 50 foot radius. You can't move people. It's this whole universe thing about... free will... whatever. {Lita}

    New Powers:

Power Cancellation ~Limited to one or two people~ Pretty much self-exlpanitory, the wielder of this power can cancel powers used against them.

Astral Projection You can create another one of yourself in time of need, the trouble is that you have little control yourself and your astral self.

Sound Manipulation You can manipulate sound. A change in the sounds perceived by your enemies will confuse them, long enough for you to gain an advantage or escape.

Probability Manipulation You can manipulate probablity, and you have a chance of turning things in your favor.

~These double as evolution. If you start with one of these, you don't get the previous power.~

Illusion ~A Premonition evolution~You can change how others percieve the area. One with a strong mental capacity can even add scents and a breeze. The downside being, it takes alot out of a person and you'll need good concentration to be able to hold the illusion.

Mind control ~A Telepathy evolution~ Simply put, temporary control over ones mind. Depending on your strength, you can control them for two minutes up to half an hour. You can make them protect you, fight for you, whatever. Just keep in mind GM-ing for the protection of other players.

Sonic scream ~A Special Senses evolution~ Nothing to it except a high pitched Sonic Scream. It can blow out the hearing of anyone in a fifty foot radius. The result is only temporary (about an hour) but you'll have a ring in your ears for days afterward.

Elemental Control ~An Object Manipulation evolution~ You have partial control over the elements. You can makes a river flood a bit, spark a fire or spread one a few feet out, etc.

Profiling Ability - ~Part of the Special senses evolution~ You can deduce a person's personality to a certain degree, allowing to know them better and to think somehow like them if needed, leading to deduce their plans with a certain percentage of probability.

Healing Aura- ~Object manipulation evolution~ Can be used to heal minor wounds. But major wounds use a lot of energy and can lead to fainting.

"Self Manipulation"- An evolution off of object manipulation, similar to elemental manipulation, but instead of manipulation of elements, you gain manipulation over a certain part of yours body structure. Such powers can be manipulation of muscles, or skin, or, generally, whatever part you wish (only one though).

Once you get further in the story, your powers may advance. And there's a limit to the Object Manipulation ability. I only want two or three people. That's subject to change, depending on how popular this becomes. Limit how many of each ability but depending on popularity, I'll extend them.

And we also need a leader. To be leader, just call it out. And the government is free game. If you have an idea for them, go ahead and feel free to use them.

    Rules

    1. No GM-ing
    2. No power plays
    3. No character killing unless you agreed upon it with the player of the character whom you are killing
    4. No excessive swearing

    What Are The Battle Grounds?

The battle grounds, are a place for the holding of combat based, competitive roleplaying. Within the battle grounds, two, or sometimes three or four combatants, do direct battle against one another (by default, it is free of plot, or history), either in free for all, or as teams (in the case of four or more members). The goal of the battles is to out do your opponent(s) strategically, and ultimately, put them in a position that they cannot get out of. As a result, they would be forced to take the hit, not because it was forced upon them through powerplay, but because they could not logically avoid taking the hit.

But What Are The Rules For The Battle Grounds?

The rules for RP battles are the same general rules for any plot based RP that you have participated in. Such rules include:

No God-Moding - You cannot have a character that simply cannot be defeated. You cannot use a character that can simply shrug off any attack without any kind of repercussions.

No Power Playing - You cannot, under any means, take control of your opponent's character. It doesn't matter if your character can control the minds of others. While such a power is not illegal, one using such a power must be aware that their opponent's character must be given chance to counter act such a power in some manner. If they cannot legitimately shake it off, then the control can work.

No Auto Hitting - Auto hitting is a form of power playing, in which one person's character uses an attack, that is stated in the post to automatically hit their opponent. For example:

Player A: Jameson throws his fist at Clark's (Player B's character) face, breaking his nose.

That, is an example of Auto Hitting. The player has landed a hit upon his opponent's character, and as well, one that could have easily been avoided. Such action is against the rules of battling.

Regarding Combat Posts - While it is fine that everyone has their own style of posting for RPs, it must be noted that detail is key in combat based RPs. The motions a character makes, the way their attacks are being carried out, must all be well defined within a post. Often, simply writing one line in a post will not hold enough detail.

What Characters Can Be Used For Battles:

Any character is allowed to be used in a battle, so long as they meet whatever conditions are set by the combatants. Within a battle, beings from any canon series can be used, and even original characters can show themselves. Essentially, there is no limit on where you can pull a character from. Sora could do battle against Naruto; a Gundam could fight against a Zoid.

How Do You Make A Challenge For A Battle?

Challenging someone to a battle is simple. All you need to do is contact someone on the forums, possibly someone you have RPed with before, or even someone you have never RPed with, and ask them if they would like to just battle. If they accept the challenge, then you can bring the battle here. The challenger will have the power to choose the setting of the battle, and any conditions that are held (such as what types of characters will be allowed, whether or not it will be a power battle), and any terms that must be met within the battle, unless they choose to give the one they are challenging that pleasure. Of course, a battle doesn't have to have a specific type of character, or any conditions. After that, the two post, or Pm each other their character profiles, and also send them to anyone who may preside as a judge over the match, if desired, and the IC battle starts.

    Other Info:

Due to the fact that this is currently a single thread deal, rather than a subsection, only one battle may take place at a time here. Should it grow int something popular amongst the general RP population, I may request that it be made a subsection. But for now, I simply hope that people will give it a try.

A voice rang out within Zhyriad's head; It had no body, no origin, other than perhaps the mind of whomever it was that had placed it there. Though he looked around with fervor for the one who had spoken, he knew that his effort in this was in vein. They were speaking not to his ears, but to his mind, clearly in an effort to hold a secret conversation with him. There was no real point in shrugging it off. The conversation would indeed yield to him the result that he desired.

"If you can here y thoughts, you'll know why I am here," he uttered hoarsely. I trust that you are among those who seek vengeance upon the keybearers. In that knowledge, I will not bother you with much of the details, as you are, with little doubt, after the same thing as I. We are among the last remains of the old powers. Ourselves, along with the others, must cease the foolishness, and get down actually getting something done. Now, if you will, please, follow me to the castle.

Kelly arrived at the front gates, huffing out each breath in uneven, random intervals. She may have been an world class warrior, but she was still no sprinter. Her lungs burnt in a way that they hadn't done since her first year, when Cloud had made them run laps around the outer wall of the arena. That day, as she recalled, she had almost been deemed as unfit to train at The Academy, and nearly been sent home. The tears she had cried that night as she had readied her bag for packing seemed to flood the floor in her room.

It had been Leon and Sora who had stood up for her, convincing Cloud, and even Riku and Kairi, for that matter, to allow her to continue her training. For that, she had grown eternally grateful towards Leon, and her admiration towards Sora had grown by leaps and bounds more. And thanks to them, she had grown to a point that many of the other teachers had not anticipated. And for some odd reason, some of them had even seemed a bit worried when they had been teaching her to use magic, though she had never been told why.

In any case, the memory of the arena was strong enough to sway her gaze from the front doors of the magic education wing over to the arena, built not too far from the front door. With a small shrug, and a quick "eh", she turned, and headed down the path towards the arena, hoping to catch at least one of the teachers, or at least another student.

Another blaze of black flames scorched the ground of another world, one far from the light of Radiant Garden. From the flames, Zhyriad emerged, his eyes cautiously narrowed, scanning the grounds for any threats. The plain around him was devoid of life, though signs of life could be found as far as his eyes could see. Skeletons of people dotted the hardened rock surface. The grass that had once in history been brilliantly green had withered to a depressing gray. Upon the distant horizon, the visages of massive mountain ranges could be made out through a thin veil of mist.

yet the most awkwardly amazing feature of this world, was its moon. While it was as normal in size and shape as any other moon, it was of constant, darkened purple shade, which shone its surreal light down upon the world, giving the skies, and landscape itself a purple luster. These features made this world the ideal place for a meeting of the darkness. It was a quality enhanced by the fact that not so far from Zhyriad's position, was a large, black marble tower, standing erect, looking over the boundless plains around it.

This tower, which he had visited many times before, was again his destination. This place will suit our purposes well. It is forgotten, and well out of the way of mainstream society. Yet we can easily reach it, once we know where it his.

From the bustling port at the edge of town, Kelly weaved hurriedly through the crowds of market goers. It was pretty standard, considering what had happened earlier. Although, she di notice that the people packed very tightly to each other, most likely as a result of the commotion that had preceded her arrival. Her way was so densely blocked, that she had lost count of how many pardons she had had to give as she made her way to The Academy.

Finally, she emerged from the sea of shoppers and tourists, seeing The Academy clearly in the distance in front of her. Excited to finally be at home, she broke into a dead sprint towards the front gates. It drew closer, and closer as she bound forward. her lungs were starting burn as she drew closer, and her legs felt like they would fall apart at any second. But this didn't phase her nearly as much as what happened next.

Still sprinting, though losing significant steam, she ran over a patch of remaining ice. With one wrong step, she lost her her footing, and slipping on the glazed surface at her feet. Unable to stop herself, she tripped forward, into a sure face plant. She would have landed, if not for that fact that she had then noticed the arm of another passing individual. As she passed in her fall, she extended her hand, reaching out to grasp his arm in the off hop that it would help keep her up.

(For the record, the person in question is Sylis.

Staring out from the isolation of the distant Villain's Vale, Zhyriad allowed his vision to absorb the the destruction that had been sparked. The entire village had been coated in a thick sheet of ice, which was, now, only just beginning to break apart with the help of villagers, and Academy teachers alike. The walls of The Academy had been breached, and shattered by numerous heartless. And more so, those that had inspired the disastrous calamities had gotten away, free of the punishment that they would have so rightfully deserved.

So is this what I've returned to? A group of miscreants bend simply on the unsystematic destruction of worlds? No, this will all change. They are fools. And they are fools because they have no leader. We are all that remains, and we must be as united in our front as this Academy is.

He heaved a horselike sigh, and turned to face the door leading down to the base of the tower, stroking back his black, weeding hair, relieving it from his eyes. For several seconds, he stood still, with no thoughts, and no words, simply blank in expression, before remembering where his destination was. In a single, powerful, and exaggerated motion, he flung his hands together above his head, the clap dampened as he pushed them together even after they had met. And as the dulled clap rang through the room, his body was consumed by a torrent of flames, shooting up from the ground.

And he was gone, leaving in his wake, a charred marking on the floor of the Vale.

"We are now landing in the port at Radiant Garden. We ask that you remain seated, and fastened in your seats until the ship has come to a complete stop. Thank you."

The voice of the gummi ship captain rang high in Kelly's ears as he uttered his instructions. As though she didn't know landing procedure by now. As though anyone on the ship didn't know landing procedure by now. They were all senior members of The Academy, and had been on missions as before. Procedure to them was like the back of their hands. Anyone of them could have sufficed for a teacher, at this point, and many of them had wanted to step in and teach a class or two.

With a roll of her eyes, she stared out her window onto the world, and scowled. The village had been iced over, and by the looks of things, there was reconstruction taking place along the outermost walls of the main academy building. Can't the freshmen do ANYTHING right? This seemed to have been a running theme within the passed few months. The Academy would send its senior members off on missions, and while they were gone, something would happen to the building. Either there would be fires, or there would simply be people lying passed out in the courtyards. ]

Either way, it was annoying to Kelly, and her peers, to return to find that things had been messed up. She turned to her fellow student, sitting to her left, still scowling. "Why don't they ever leave any of us behind when we have missions?"

"Not sure," he said. "I guess it's because the teachers are still there. Why they let things happen like this is beyond me though."

"Yeah, I here ya. I swear, the minute I get off this ship, I'm having a word with someone, either Sora, or Riku. Which ever one I can find the easiest." She let out a half-hearted chuckle to herself, and sat back, upright, ready for the ships landing.

Someone Here will certainly know the name......

And that someone, they know who they are, is in trouble.

    Remnant

    Name:
Zhyriad (Formerly Known as Jerrick Nualt)
    Age:
    27
    Gender:
    Male:

    Appearance:
    http://scarrystuff.net/wsb5276750901/Images/demons.gif
    http://www.quizilla.com/user_images/B/BL/BLU/BluePhoenix2110/1154556364_s6goth_guy.JPG

    Persona:
Zhyriad... One so dark, so vile in his intentions, can only be described as cruel, and bloodthirsty. He is lone wolf in all essence, uncaring of the pack which he has shifted his way to the top of. He would send any of his followers to their demise, were it known that it would yield his own personal advancement. And in the end, he would care nothing for their fate, nor the fates of those that were left harmed in their wake. He is also a man of veiled secrecy, harboring knowledge, and afflictions that no others could ever be made aware of. When conversation drifts in the direction of such information, he bluntly veers the topic off course to avoid imparting knowledge unto those that have no need for it.

    Powers/Magic:
Zhyriad, being an incarnation of the purest of darkness, is endowed with a set of powers based around the manipulation of "dark energy". The term used to define dark energy is, not as an element, but a its quality of destructiveness. That is, energy based on the acceleration, and augmentation of power, and the consuming of the physicality, and mentality of others. He could shroud entire worlds in darkness, and, with the proper channeling, submit the minds of others to his will. He is also capable of infusing these dark energies with the baser spells, learned in his youth.

    Weapon:
With such a powerful amount of dark energy at his disposal, Zhyriad has seen little use for conventional weapons. He wields a simple bow staff, forged of a durable, largely magic resistant, and lightweight metal, though his precision with it makes it a boastful force.

    History:
Why bother to delve into the past of someone who has pulled such a horrid 180 since his childhood? All that needs to be known is that Jerrick Nualt was once a mild-mannered boy, living in the basking eternal dusk of Twilight Town, attempting fruitlessly to learn the arts of magic from the legendary Yen Sid. From these days, he came to seek out a way to utilize the powers that had once eluded him, and as a result, fell into the possession of the dark incarnate, Zhyriad.

His name, forgotten to those that had once known him, and now, inconsequential even to him, he has, with his demonic influence, gathered together a group of malevolent beings of such a nature that the worlds themselves would crumble if they got their way.

    Name:
    Kelly Aurorus
    Age:
    17
    Gender:
    Female

    Appearance:
    http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/Dark-Angel-Ly/Zelos28.jpg

    Personality:
Having been raised primarily by her father, Kelly has grown into being a girl of several, more masculine qualities. She has developed into a strong, male-like physique, and generally hangs around the males within The Academy. On a negative note, she can be rather irritable, and judgmental of others. Yet she is generally straightforward, and never holds grudge against others, unless seriously wronged by said others. If she has a problem with someone, she will most likely tell them that there is a problem, and hope, for their sake, that they comply with rectifying it.

    Keyblade - Judgment
    http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q189/maxsteel233/My_2nd_Keyblade__LastJudgement_by_F.jpg
This keyblade, is mostly the embodiment of Kelly's persona. Judgment, is a striaghtforward, unmasked concept, and one of strength, and a hold fast nature, just as its wielder.

    Powers:
Kelly possess one of the most unnatural, yet, in paradox, most native power that any individual within the Realm of Light could hold. What power could be so confusing? The very power of a symbiotic relation to the heart of all worlds, the fuel of life into the Realm of Light. Such a power's limits are widely unknown, though it has been agreed by the staff of The Academy that to allow her to fully utilize this power, would be something far to dangerous, even if it were used for the good of the worlds.

    Bio:
As with any keyblade wielder, life for Kelly started off as being a generic childhood. She was born to her two parents, named Kalvin, and Veera, mother and father respectively. For the first part of her life, she lived in the world of Traverse Town, playing by night on the streets with her female friends. But good times can never last. Darkness was fast appraoching the worlds, and even the haven of Traverse Town would fall victim to the Heartless onslaught.

In one such heartless attack, her home was directly invaded by a swarm of shadows, and she, and her parents, were chased to the streets. But this was for naught, as they were no safer outside than inside. The sahdows swarmed more densely, and her mother, losing her balance, fell to the ground, and was swallowed by the darkness. Her heart, being so weakened by the pain of losing her family in her death, and leaving them behind, was unable to produce any more than a shadow, and no nobody was created to go with it. She was, in all respect, dead on the spot. Yet still, her daughter, and husband pressed on, in order to make her sacrifice worthwhile.

It was, when they were surrounded by heartless, when all hope of survival seemed lost within the horrors of the invasion, that they were rescued by a young boy wielding a key-like weapon. The boy, soon to be revealed by the likes of Leon, as being Sora, the Keyblade wielder, and the legendary hero who would salvage the worlds from the darkness. On this day, Kelly vowed to always remain loyal to Sora, even in the darkest of times. He was, on that day, her hero, and idle.

With nothing left to live for in Traverse Town, Kelly, and Kalvin relocated to Twilight Town, where they reestablished themselves as a well meaning family. Her father, still loyal to her mother, never remarried. She liked it that way, and being raised by him, shifted her into a more masculine demeanor. She started hanging around with boys casually through her early school years, partaking their rowdiness, and sometimes, aggressive behavior.

It was a year later, that the nobodies came at large in the town. Seifer, and his crew tried what they could to deal with it, but were oft defeated easily by the creatures. Again, Kelly was caught in the path of the affairs of the Keybearers. And again, it would be Sora that rescued her town, and her people. Her idolatry of him grew by leaps and bounds, and she vowed that one day, she would repay him for his heroic actions.

Long story short, she found herself, at age 13, in possession of a keyblade of her own, and, even more shocking, and invitation to The Keyblade Academy, a place where she would soon learn her trade, and role as a guardian of the Realm of Light.

    Where's Waldo

Of the may elusive figures that exist in our world, none have been more enigmatic than Waldo. He is rarely seen by anyone, and when he is, it is only after searching through crowds of hundreds, and even thousands of others. His inclination to hide from those who seek him, and his uncanny ability to blend in with any crowd, despite his awkward and standout attire, has earned him a place of infamy within the international security offices of the United Nations.

While his motives at the moment are unclear, it is clear that he is working towards some sort of goal. In an attempt to crack this goal, the UN has formed The World Agency, a division of investigators that have been assigned to the task of capturing such people in the interest of national security. The members of this division are called nothing other than The World Agents. And the number one on their list of people to find and question, is none other than Waldo himself...

This IS an RP based on the Where's Waldo books. It is meant to be a manhunt/mystery type RP.

  20. Ego Imperium
(The Extended RP Section = YES!!!! I'll actually need to be filled in on what's been happening to save me the massive amount of reading.)

    User Name: Ego Imperium

    Name: King Mickey Mouse
Age: We'll Say He's Around 40 years old. But He's certainly in his prime of physical strength
    Gender: Male
    Species: Anthropomorphic Mouse Thing

    Powers/Abilities:
King Mickey is, perhaps, the most well accomplished individual in the Realm of Light. He is VERY skilled in swordplay, as evidenced in various situations in prior adventures, and is generally unrivaled in this respect. While the king is far smaller in size than everyone else, this is of little consequence, as he boasts a phenomenal level of agility, which he uses to battle circles around his enemies. A well known fact about The King is that he was a favored student of the might Yen Sid, a sorcerer who has long been unmatched in power and wisdom. As can be expected of anyone with such an education, King Mickey is well accomplished in various forms of magic, and has his own wealth of wisdom to contribute. In addition, Mickey spent a fair amount of time traveling the worlds, searching for the unknown darkness that ran rampant as a result of Xehenort's heartless, and nobody, Xemnas. During these days, he had met and bashed intellects with Ansem The Wise, and boasts further wisdom from these conversations.

It has also been seen that King Mickey is a being of such purity of light, that darkness appears to have no effect on him. He has traversed through the corridors of darkness multiple times, and has emerged literally unchanged by the experience, while most people would be severely weakened by such actions.

    Bio:
King Mickey Mouse has come a long way to get where he is these days. He started off as a humble steamboat deck hand under Pete, and, by some unknown means, managed to work his way up to being king of Disney Castle, and the surrounding area (perhaps this is what caused Pete to be troublesome). His rule was just, and kind, and he was presumably loved by all that were under him. His closest contacts were his wife Minnie, his Captain, Goofy, and his court wizard, Donald Duck. But it wasn't too long before things began to go awry in the worlds. Stars began disappearing, and eventually, Mickey became so worried, that he abandoned his home, leaving Donald and Goofy a note, informing them of the situation, and telling them to go to Travese Town.

Much of what he did during this time is largely unknown, though it is known that he met Ansem The Wise during this time frame. It wasn't until Sora, Donald and Goofy defeated Xehenort's heartless that Mickey was again seen by anyone. He, along with Sora's friend Riku, was locked in the Realm of Darkness. But with Riku's help, he managed to escape, and did a considerable amount of extra research. Again, much of his actions are left to the imagination, but one can assume that he was well at work, even when his memories of Sora had faded.

When Sora awakened from his year long sleep, King Mickey arrived in Twilight Town from Yen Sid's Tower, and went to Hayner, Pence, and Oulette, looking for Sora and team. While they hadn't yet seen the three, they promised to send them in the King's direction if they did. And they did meet Sora and the others, and held true to their word. Rescuing Sora from a team of Dusks, he sent the trio on the road to Yen Sid, and again, vanished for a time.

He again reappeared in Hollow Bastion, where he revealed that the man defeated in Sora's previous endeavor was not in fact Ansem, but an impostor. Yet there was little time to explain anything, as the town was attacked by heartless and nobodies. Mickey aided in the defense of the town, and ultimately, made a confrontation with Xemnas, the Organization XIII leader, and Xehenort's nobody. But when Xemnas vanished through the dark corridors, Mickey gave chase leaving Sora behind. Again, it is largely unknown what he did during this absence from the mainstream of activity.

He finally came onto the scene again when the heroes prepared for the final showdown against Xemnas, and helped the heroes defeat the nobody leader. While he was absent for the final battle after being cut off in Destiny Islands, he was there to greet Sora and Riku when they returned victorious. Peace had at last been achieved... but for how long?

Recently, Mickey has been made aware of a new threat to the light. What exactly it is, even he can't say, yet he feels at fault for letting himself overlook such a problem. He has called for the heroes of the Realm of Light to gather together again to combat this new threat to the light. through is disappointment in himself, he is confident in the heroes power to defeat this new force of darkness.
