As in, how the RP should start. I think it started alright in the first try here. I rather like the idea of Remnants starting out as a...
Objective: Imagine that you have been put on the design team of a knew KH title for a day. Got that done? Yes? OK. Now, you are approached by one of the higher ups on the project, and they tell you that you need to design one of the new characters for the game, and submit it to the graphics team and programmers so that they can create it into the game. You are told that the character must be original, and must meet other criteria in order to be put into the game. But wait, that's not all! You've been told that others have also been assigned to this task, and that you're in competition with one another. Logistics: For this competition, as stated above, you will be creating a brand new character for a Kingdom Hearts game (not really though). For a limited time, this thread will be open for sign ups for members, and for inquiries regarding the competition. After about a week from next Monday, the sign ups for the contest will be closed, and the competition will begin. The deadline for the characters will be about two weeks after sign ups have closed. After that, a new thread will be opened where the characters can be posted. After the characters have been posted, people will be allowed to cast nomination for who should win caption awards, and overall best. A judge will be needed to manage the nominations. Rules: Characters MUST be original For RPers, characters MUST be fresh, in personality, appearance, and in power. Only ONE character to be made per person, unless there is a two character in one deal. But physically, the two must be within a single entity. Follow this template to create your character: Name- Age- Gender- Side- (Hero, Villain, or Neutral) Appearance- Personality- Weapon(s)- Powers- (Includes elements, abilities, and magics) History- Caption Awards: Most Exotic/Unique Name - Most Colorful - goes to the character that is voted to have had the best personality for their character. Best Appearance - For the character whose appearance is voted to be the best. Most Creative Weapon Idea - Given to the character with the most creative weapon. Most Creative Power - Given to the character with the most interesting power. Best History - For the character whose history is the most comprehensive, and unique. Best Hero - Best Villain - Best Neutral - And of course, the best overall character. Participant Roster - Ego Imperium
Perhaps we should restart The Academy. It seems to have just fallen off of peoples' radars. Restarting it may be beneficial.
Observing the scene around the base of the clock tower, Ejixe noted the position of everyone around him. A young, spiky brown-haired boy lay in a near coma upon the ground, writhing around in torment. One of his order, namely Naoxtnai, was standing in the plaza, staring at him, smiling, having scanned the area for any other keybearers. While she said that there were none there, he was still certain that another was nearby. He too scanned from his own spot, squinting in search of the visage of a keybearer, or anyone who might try and stop him, and the others from achieving their goals. And as he scanned the vacinity himself, he noticed someone else, whom Naoxtnai had missed in her search. A young boy, laying, stomach down upon the roof of a nearby building, aiming what appeared to be two guns at her. She had missed him, and she was soon to pay the price for it, lest Ejixe step in. Rather than do anything at this point, he waited. And it would pay off. Only a moment after he had spotted him, the boy opened fire, dispatching two shots of pure light energy upon Naoxtnai. This was Ejixe's signal. Plumetting himself from the top of the tower and into a gliding motion towards the boy, he brought himself face to face with him, smiling serenly as he spoke. "You're quite the naughty one, shooting at defenseless women. Allow me to teach you a lesson." The boy cringed back, landing upon his rear on the stone roof as the nobody dove out towards him, holding his gun up ready to open fire again. But an aura, unseen, but more than felt, seemed to be around this one, telling the boy that his shots would not work right on him. But he was not so fearful as to run from him. He would rather die than run, at this point. The best he could do was shudder before Ejixe, who loomed over him as a mountain over a valley.
Ejixe.... Ejixe.... The ressonating voice that had sounded through his head stirred the Nobody into action, waking him from his nap that he had been enjoying for the passed hour. His eyes cranked themselves open, as he released a heavy yawn, muffling it with his hand. As his woken vision became more focused, he realized that he had fallen asleep on the job yet again, and that this time, he had done so in mid-mission, something he hadn't done as of yet. What's more, he ahd been asleep, floating inches above the surface of a sandy beach. Rising up several feet, he rotated his body around to the upright position, he lowered himself softly down into the gentle sands allowing his booted feet to sink into the grained pillow beneath them. Digging into his coat poket, he managed to locate a small script of paper, which he had written down to remind himself of his mission, in the event that it slipped his mind, even for a second. Reading it ten times over, he snapped his finger, giving a "that's it!" kind of nod, nad replaced the paper into his coat pocket. With another snap of his fingers, he flanked himself with ten Invisible class heartless, and ten sorcerer nobodies. He gave a slow arm motion, and the two parties dispersed upon the Destiny Islands, ready to wreek havoc upon it. Yet this was merely the diversion to the plan... or at least, it was the diversion to his plan. The Invisibles would gather hearts, as the sorcerers lured the people into their trap. Perfect teamwork between the two species. Still standing, he twisted himself around, vanishing from his spot through a void warp, letting himsefl out instantly upon the top of the Twilight Town clock tower. Sora was here, with his two closest friends, Riku, and Kairi. No doubt, someone would get the message that their home was under attack by both Heartless, and Nobodies. They would depart, and Ejixe would take command in Twilight Town.... And he'd be one step closer...
A physical atraction can happen upon the first sight, simply because we know what constitutes an attractive person to us. But love is something far different, as love is emotional, and mental. How can we say we love someone if we haven't ahd the chance to emotionally conect with them, and determine we find their personality as attractive as their body, or more so attractive? We can't. But we can tell ourselves that we love someone, simply because we've seen them. But that is simply fooling ourselves, and fooling out hearts.
I'll be inclined to agree w/ Blood of the Rose on this one. It seems like you're her go to guy when she needs help, the person she turns to for a shoulder to cry one when others aren't suitable. It is perhaps, that she has an affection towards you that is like that between a brother and a sister. In such a relation, the two are generally distant on the regular basis, but are, deep down, very close to one another. I've had a friend in said capacity, one who saw me more as family than as friend. It is often a hard truth for me to bear, that I can't be the one she talks to regularly, but in the end, realize that what we have is a real sibling-like relation. I believe that this is what you and this girl Dani have. A more distantly close type of bond, it is one that a person should be proud to have. Keep it at that, and let it work from there, and you should be fine.
Name: Ejixe (Eh-jy-ya) Former Name: Zeije Gender: Male Sexuality: Bi Number: (Not sure how many you have. I'll take whatever). Element: Void Weapon(s): Ethereals - Blades made from energy from the void, much like those wielded by Xemnas, only they are silver-blue, as opposed to red. Main Minion: Invisibles/Sorcerers Picture: Name: Glyde Savian Age: 16 Gender: Male Sexuality: Straight Magic: 1. Light Based magic, such as the reflect series, as well as other magics acting as variants on it. 2. Air based magics (Aero) 3. Fire based magic (Fira and such) 4. Magical Fusion - A simultaneous casting of two or more of the above spells, which results in the fusing of both effects. Keyblade(s): Marksman and Quick Shot - These two keyblades are not so much blades as they are firearms. Both have the rough form of a rifle, with the hilts forming the butt of the weapons, though they lack triggers as traditional guns do. What would normally be the blade of the weapons are in the form of barrels, though they lack openings, and the teeth of the keys are made from the aiming sights. The actual blades of the weapons are made from the bayonets upon the ends of the barrels. The blades, as does Glyde's fighting style, act in a fashion similar to Sora's wisdom form, firing off shots of magical energy. In addition, both blades can merge with one another, forming a longer length, and longer ranged weapon, called Sniper. That's not a problem, seeing as there were countless nameless individuals that fought in those wars. I was just saying that if you're going to...
(If you're going to do an RP based off of an event in history, you should at least keep the character positions true to the historic event. Zhang Jiao was the leader of the Yellow Turbans). Username: Ego Imperium Name: Lu Bu kingdom: None rank: None appearance: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=152&pictureid=4096 age: 23 bio: (Need to go do some research for this one). weapon: See Picture power: 1. Lu Bu is a multitalented warrior, excelling in hand to hand combat, close ranged weapons, archery, and horseback riding. 2. As a mastered warrior, even at such a young age, Lu Bu has an unrivalled level of stamina, allowing him to resist heavy damage that most others would crumble before. he can last longer in battle than any other warriors that have yet to surface, and has been seen to, at times, cheat death in some situations, simply out of his resistance to his injuries. 3. A rageful man, that is, over the top rageful, Lu Bu is able to augment his strength out of his raw anger, and shape that anger into energy for his attacks. other: Lu Bu is never found far from his mighty steed, Red Hare, which is said to have been able to run 1,000 miles in a single day.
I would like to request the use of the Yellow Turban Leader.
Not to worry, I;ve already taken action.
Me thinks we need to round the people up for The Academy. I'm starting to get into the thick of the Remnant plotline.
A burst of dark energy encased the inside of the tower, and a single, lonely door, was knocked clear off of its hinges, opening into a small, square shaped room, in which the sole decoration of interest was a throne, forged of the same weathered black stone as the tower itself. It was this throne that Zhyriad had sought for, the throne upon which the master of all darkness should be seated in his leading of his troops, if it be that they still existed anywhere in the worlds. But then, darkness always found its nitches in any civilization. Patiently, and in an air of arrogance, he strode into the center of the room, where he took a brief, but all absorbing pause. The very feel of this place alone could drive a denizen of light into utter insanity. He ressumed his appraoch to the throne, feeling, with every step he made, the power of his own essence being affected by the essence emmitted by the throne. Even he was starting to feel a little bit weak in the face of such a force. But he believed he could over come it, and oust the king of old from his rule over this dominion. This power, so old, yet so fresh, was that which he had long sought to rival in his quests. But alas, every appraoch he had made had yielded only meager gains in the distance he could traverse before it forced him into a temporary mental oblivion. But that had been a year ago, and much can change about a person over the course of a single year. So now, now of all times, might be his time... Her hair still slightly frizzled by the constant gusts of wind, Kelly walked around the outer walls of The Academy in search of King Mickey. As Riku had said, if anyone could instigate change, and allow her to stay off from standard missions, and give the rookies a little firm guidance. Most other teachers would be for the tradition, not seeing how they had failed to do what they were supposed to have done. And the book would have been closed on the topic, and forever forgotten. But Mickey, of all of them would understand the most. Along the way, she came across a familiar face. It was that of a tall, slim, armor and shield bearing dog-like person, standing upright, and wallking a bit clumsily around The Academy, apparently looking for someone as well. "Captain Goofy!" sha said, waving to him, "have you seen King Mickey around the building at all?"
Our world is as equally filled with things of a bizarre, and awkward nature, as it is filled with that which is standard, and normal. There are strange animals, strange places, strange phenomenons, and even strange people. Yet these strange people, are, more so than any of the other oddities, shunned from the majority of society, save for their close friends, and family. It is practically suicide for an inexperienced "Oddity" to wander onto the streets of even their own town, as doing so would lead to discrimination, and even beatings. Hence, these people, most of them teens, or preteens, were in need of a place to call their home, where they could find acceptance for what they were. In response to this need, groups of "odd" adults, took it upon themselves to set up boarding schools for these young minds, so that they could learn to control these oddities, and live in peace, away from the judgment of other "normal" people. For a while, there was only a single school for these people to flock to, and not enough space for all of them, and thus, some had to be denied entry. But over time new schools began to spring up across the world. With so many schools popping up, rivalries between schools would become an inevitability. While many of these rivalries were friendly, and light of heart, there those that were carried by heavier hearts, and taken with greater seriousness. One such rivalry sprung up between two schools in the United States: Rizhen Metahuman Institute, and Elderidge Academy For The Gifted. Their rivalry was practically legendary amongst the other schools, and their curricula were unmatched by any others in the world. What's more, the two schools were located only thirty miles apart from each other, making their rivalry all the more potent, as they work against the other for students. As both schools were constantly trying to prove their superiority to the other, they were in need of a legitimate means of making this point. The staffs of the two schools gathered together in a rare meeting, and came to a decision: At the end of each schooling year, the two schools would meet at a secluded location, and hold a tournament, which would test the powers of their students, and determine which schools had yielded the finer crop of students. The passed three years of this now fifty year tradition, have seen a tie in the tournament. Both schools have proven themselves equal. But alas, it is a new year, and a new tournament is only months away. Both schools have begun preparing for it, ready to break the three year draw. Kelly half struggled to catch her breath again, and looked up at Riku, wearing the most judgemental face she could muster. "Well sir," she said, trying to stay respectful, "I'm not normally one to question the methods of The Academy, but I'm doubt of the ability of the younger students to fend off dangers in the absence of the seniors. I mean, look what happened here before my ship got back. People are still picking the ice off of the streets!" She flustered at the thought of this, and hoped that Riku wouldn't be angered by her own frustration. She had tried to be modest about it, though she realized that she had, more than likely, failed in doing so.
Wakka stumbled over the mess of clothes, and other objects, making his way out from the bedroom into the bathroom, nearly landing in a face plant several times in the process. He flicked on the bathroom light as he entered, not bothering with closing the door, as he was teh only person that would be in here at this time of the day, a per the system. He looked into the mirror, only to realize that his eyes were tried, and bloodshot more than he could ever recall them being before. The days were starting to take their toll, and he wasn't sure why he was like this anymore. He reached down slowly to the faucet, and turned on the cold water, filling a dixie cup, and drinking it as though it were a shot of whisky. "Mon, that felt good!" He felt awake now, and reached off to the side of the sink, grabbing several hair care devices, and proceeded to form his afro into a series of long dreadlocks. "Perfect, mon!' he said to himself upon completion. "That should be good for the day!" Tidus took the seat behind Sora, sitting next to Namine. I was very much like Sora to be running late for the bus because he had slept in. But then, Wakka hadn't arrived yet either. But at this point, Tidus had nearly given up on Wakka. "Sora man," he said, snickering a little as he did, "you've got to figure it out man. Don't want to be late for the bus every day, yeah?

An alarm clock rang out obnoxiously through a hazy smoke filled bedroom, with which lay an expansive, varying set of exotic items. A set of steel drums sat in the corner of the room next to a messy bed. A rastafarrian style hat hung from off the end of a window curtain attachment. Heavy amounts of brightly colored shirts and pants lay strewn across the surface of the floor around the bed, and pretty much everywhere else that they could fit through the random peripharies that cluttered the room. Laying, sprawled lazily upon the bed, was a young, darker skinned boy, hair in a mess of an afro, cald in his sleeping attire of loose fitting, kne length shorts, and no shirt, exposing a well toned set of abs, and a pretty much stone chisled chest. The boy rolled around, looking at the alarm, letting out an extended groan of displeasure at the numbers upon the clock. His arm flabbing its way over to the clock, he gave it a single whack, ceasing its thunderous call to him, and rolled half dead out of his bed. "Nother day mon," Wakka muttered to himself as he got to his feet, rubbing his eyes, and waving his arm to rib himself of the haze that lingered on within the room. He was going to be late again, but at this point, it didn't really matter. Tidus, covered only by a wet shower towel, dashed to his room to finish getting himself dressed for school. He knew he shouldn't have gone on the run so late in the morning, but he had to keep in shape, he had a meet in a few days. It wouldn't be becoming of the up and coming young star of the team to be caught slipping in his fittness routine. Running two miles in the morning, and one at night, except on days of meets, was an essential to his plans. That, plus the running he did in practice, had gotten him into the best shape of his life, and he wasn't about to lose it. Once in his room, he looked around frantically for his clothes, making the occassional "uh?" noise to express his confusion. Not long after, he ahd located is athletic shorts, and his new school team T-shirt to cap it off. In a rush, he nearly slipped on two different shoes, but was, to his relief, caught in this act by his mother, who pointed out the mistake. With his clothing situation rectified, he made his way into the kitchen, grabbing an egg sandwhich on his way out, sprinting to the bus stop, bag haning off of one shoulder, making it just in the knick of time. He fell in behind a blonde girl, who had pleaded with the driver to wait just a little bit longer before heading out, only to be put down by him. "Don't worry," he whispered into her ear, "I'm sure your friend will make it in time." Ansem sat silently upon his porch in the early morning sunlight, looking out over the street, watching as the buses passed by carrying the excited young students. As he sipped from his tea, he couldn't help but feel happy for the young ones. They had so much potential, so much life to give to the world. They were the future, the legs that would carry humanity to a greater future. And it was his responsibility to oversee their education, as they prepared to take on this greatest of challenges. "The foundation of our future, resides in what we make of our present, and how we deal with our past," he stated, catching the brief attention of a passing morning jogger. "And so begins another journey of learning, not just for them, but for me." Downing the rest of his tea, he returned to the solitude of his house to ready himself for his next inspection of the schools.
A quick gust of hair rustled Kelly's hair as she strode quickly down towards the training arena. The normally well organized hair fluttered helplessly for but a second, skewing her vision slightly as she passed by two others. One was an older, yet still young man, relatively speaking, having a shorter, and neater hair style than her own now was, colored a brilliant silver/white. He was also, even to her, a somewhat attractive man, taller, and with well defined, and toned physique. The other, was with the same hair color, slightly shorter, and younger than the first. The former was Riku, one of the school's heads. The other, was one of her fellow senior members, Phenox. She gave both a friendly wave as she passed by them, trying to restraighten her hair to an acceptable level. She had almost simply walked by, before she remembered that she had sworn to talk to someone about the issue rgarding the earlier damages to the school, and to Radiant Garden in general. Immediately, she about faced, and dashed back towards The Academy, getting within range to hollar after Riku. "Riku! Hold up! I need a word with you!"
