For the record, this thing has been inactive for like, four months. It's pretty much died out. Though I've been toying with bringing it back to the drawing board, and make it a bit more epic.

((1. These words show what exactly the problem is with riku's post. When posting in a combative setting, especially when it comes to intricate, and powerful moves, DETAILS, ARE A MUST. Just saying 'this happened instead', leaves pretty much no legitimacy to the post. Why did it happen that way? What did the character do that made their assailant's move fail to that extent? Not doing so both lends itself to Godmodding, and, ironically, holes in strategy to exposed.

    2. If Versia consumed the spirit of the Light Knight, which seems to be the case, then we're left with one of two possibilities: A - Versia assimilated the spirit of the knight into her own, making them one and the same, and if one is put to waste, then the other, by extension would be. Or, B - Upon consumption at her hands, the spirit of said knight dissolved, or was otherwise booted out. Either way, the spirit is either a part of Versia's completely, or no longer exists within the body at all. In either of these cases, the move Xiao used would of dealt the desired damage, to some extent, though it would require a similar amount of power to forge the shield around the body... but that leads me to my next point.

    3. Assuming some defense was initiated, how would anyone with no prior experience with Xiao, who has only been around for a relatively short while as she is, actually know what sort of defensive to initiate? To my understanding, the only one thus far that even knows Xiao to an extent is Mixt. And even he can't say that he knows EVERYTHING about who Xiao is. So back to the point, how would a viable defensive against a move of unknown target and effect be erected in the relatively short period of time? More evidence on the power itself would be needed to make any conclusion.

    4. Regardless of whether the body was or wasn't destroyed, how does an exact replica get created. If the body WAS destroyed, then how does the new one get created? Versia can manipulate matter at such a high level that she create life on a whim? And I don't hink summoning is covered by her profile, so that shoots that out of the air. And if it's the body wasn't destroyed, then the same thought applies, because the mist and the body of the knight are of the same being. Only a small bit of this was ever covered Versia's profile. If you're gonna give your characters any sort of magics, outside of shooting off energy blasts, and whatnot, then is it too much to ask to cover that in their profile?

Maybe I am sounding a bit like a jerk, but this is the jist of it all that I was left with through reading Versia's bio, and the most recent posts. And I find it odd that I'm being bashed for goddmodding when in actuality, I'm making my character no more capable or powerful than everyone else's characters have proven to be)).

((Fail. The Attack, as explained, lays waste internally, rather than externally. Kind of like a ghost passing through into a body, it IGNORES what is physical, and takes root in what is not. Since the body of the girl, as you've said, IS physical, the attack permeates through. The heart, the soul, both fall under such a category of 'beyond physical' in the KHverse as it is. And since Versia had consumed the body of the girl, the effect would have dealt out to her as well, since you didn't actually have a counter effect to it. So from there, it simply unravals. Unfortunately, that's the way combat RPing works. And, where did this sudden summoning power come from? That was never in your character's profile.))

((Before I get buggered out for being a God-Modder, everything in this post contains the most logical, feasable notions to build the strategy used, based on my character's abilities. Any talks of this being a god-moded will be ignored, unless of course Love, or a Mod comes with some problem with it)).

Pulling Judgment from the incision upon the back of her victim’s neck (by extension, making the wound larger, not that it did anything), Xiao held it out in front of her like a loaded gun. “It doesn’t matter to me if you lack a body. I deal with beings such as this in my daily routine enough to know what works against possession of a body by external forces.” Allowing herself to drift for a millisecond, she edged her tail forward, the blade still grasped within its claw. With a flick of the wrist, she called forth Total Eclipse, its aura of fluctuating ‘existence’ roaring as powerfully as it ever had. With but the slightest jerk of her wrist, its prowess was initiated, and by a blinking spatial warp, took root no more than two meters from the ‘girl’.

No salutations were wasted; a promise was a promise, and this person would get hurt. Xiao acted swiftly. “Bang.” This, she uttered simultaneously with a forward motion of her tail. Emanating from the tip of the blade, unseen by the eyes, but sensed by those with such ability, the negative force drawn from the dead knight’s soul burst forward at a speed outstripping that of sound tenfold. Given that it was energy, it could be moved through space as fast or as slow as Xiao desired it to.

Were it a visibly tangible concentration, its appearance wouldn’t have been very impressive; it would have only been the size of a golf ball, a billiards ball at best. Yet housed within this small space was something of such purity, that size really didn’t matter in the long run. The body, the girl with the blue hair, wouldn’t be physically harmed in the slightest by the negative energy. Yet internally, those manifestations existing as more than a mere physical body, the soul, the heart; the negative force would simply unwind, and dissolve it all, even if it didn’t rightly belong there, for it was there, and was vulnerable just the same. All that would remain was an empty shell of a body, and a host of empty threats.

Xiao’s eyes fell lightly shut, her head bowed down, and her right hand pressed against her forehead. She’d have looked like she was about to lose her cool if it weren’t for the obvious fact that she was suppressing her laughter. “Mixt,” she said, shaking her head in a narrow arc. “Oh, Mixt, oh dearest, dearest Mixt,” She looked up, bearing a full, psychotically thrilled grin. “I thought you were wiser than that by now when it came down to me. You should do well, and remember that just because you don’t consider someone a foe, doesn’t mean that I don’t consider them as such. And as such, your battles, won’t always be the same as mine to fight." She paced forward, dropping the limped body of the Keybearer to the ground with little care.

Replacing the Keybearer’s place in her tail claw, the Keyblade dubbed as judgment manifested, its scythes still adorning blood from some previous conflict. Her victim, her demonstration had been foolish enough to attempt at crawling away. “Nah. I don’t think so,” she sneered, placing her foot down upon his body, applying the full pressure of her weight into holding him down. She had started to contemplate the best way to demonstrate Judgment’s power to the Light Army, when a red mist formed before her soon to be captive audience. The woman standing before hem talked big, “Psh.” She stated bluntly. “Why does everyone insist upon being the tough one around here?”

With no thought, no words to tell of her ‘demo’, she heaved down her tail, piercing through the neck of the knight at her feet with the scythes of the Judgment blade. It was a clean kill, in the sense that he certainly wasn’t alive anymore. After less than a second, the blade pulsed off a dim flash of light, indicating that the soul of the man had been both processed, and broken down into both positive and negative portions. Naturally, only Mixt had yet to learn of the Key’s ability to siphon souls, though she had conveniently left the details out when she explained the process. It wasn’t worth showing all of her cards so soon in the game.

“I suggest YOU get lost girl, before YOU get hurt.” Her voice in these words was an attempt at a 'sweet sound', though she could sense in her words that she had failed at that.

“Lazy?” the higher pitched, feminine voice drawled out from some unknown corner of existence, manifesting its bodily form before the camp. Standing over the lot of warriors, with eyes looking to ravage the next person who rose to challenge her. She was a being unlike most that lived on in this world. She was no Heartless, yet in all truth, she looked like someone who should have been. Her demonic wings, her clawed hands and feet, and the tail, bearing upon it a hand all its own contributed to this. “Who are you all calling lazy? Certainly not a lovely little lady like myself?”

Snickering like a school girl, Xiao Kuan moved her tail into the view of the crowd around the solarbeams, presenting her prize unto the lot. Gripped firmly by the claw of her tail, was a Keybearer whose form made it apparent that he had been bested by her, or more so, mauled completely. She knew it would do little to faze the greater number of them, but it didn’t matter. It was confirmation of her own power against her adversaries that she sought. And the body tolls would mount up on the morale of many of them. “Would a lazy person be doing this?"

[b\Name:[/b] Xiao Kuan (FKA, Kala Dailel)
    Gender: Female
Age: Physically remains at a perpetual 19. Several centuries chronologically.

    Rank: None
Side: While being affiliated with no side in particular, she often acclaims herself as a representative of the darkness.

Appearance: A bestiary hybrid of a mythical proportion, Kala has been considered both a beauty and a horror simultaneously. Her specific features seem to meld together the common features of a gargoyle and a harpy. Her skin tine is of a mild purple, matched by hair that is of a fine orange and pure white extending passed her shoulders to halfway along her back. The orange color of her hair is shared by a pair of devious, sharpe-starin eyes. Her face, bar her skin color, is humanoid with hints of an avian influence, such as a defined pointed look around her nose. Her ears are pointed, much like that of an elf.

Continuing her variations as a hybrid, her anatomy bears cross between what is human and what is beast. In the scheme of things, Kala is your standard show of slim, slender figure, standing at six feet tall when fully erect. Her arms and legs maintain the similarities to a human, bulked with lithe, clearly defined muscles. Yet her feet and hands bear the traits of a gargoyle, having nail pointed, cutthroat claws. Those on her hands bear likeness to a human hand, with four fingers, and a posable thumbs. The makeup of the feet is three toes facing front, and a fourth toe pointed back along the center of either foot, which are also posable. With this orientation, she can use her feet as hands, in the sense that they can hold items.

Sprouting out from her back, a pair of dragonic wings span six feet on either side of her. When in a relaxed, grounded state, said wings fold in condensing in size, and wrap around her torso. Just above her gluts, seemingly conected in with her spine, a tail, roughly six feet, and tipped with a small, claw bearing hand. An internal structure of joints acting as both elbows and wrists at once allow a maximized flexibility. As such, the tail can be used as an arm for holding, or just for whatever sor of fun Kala may get up to. Most of the time it remains in a fist, which leaves little evidence to suspect that it is in fact a hand.

Armor: As of her appearance weren't demonic enough, Kala is adorned by an armor forged of the Realm of Darkness. Cladding her body is this black and dark silver series of of armor pieces which appear futuristic by an Earth sandard. Running from her ankles up to her knees are leggings, culminating in pointed top along the front side of the knees. From her thighs up passed her pelvice, a simliar array of plating covers her frotside, with a silken 'battle skirt' concealing her back upper legs.

The armor cladding her upper body is diskoined for mobility's sake. A breast plate, snug, and form-fitting allows both protection, and a prominant display of her visage beneath. The plating resumes around to her back, covering over the area around her tail, and allowing spaces for her wings to stick out. The top sides of her arms adorn their own guards, split into upper and lower plating, the latter of which extends to her wrists.

While extremely light, the armor is dense, and thus, durable against blows made upon it.

    Weapons:
Total Eclipse - How one so foul as Kala has become came to hold one of these legendary weapons is beyond anyone, really. Total Eclipse is the crux weapon of Kala's inventory as of now. To some extent, it seems to have been a device bred through Nothingness, housing an affinity for the warping of what is, and out sourcing of the same. Constantly, the blade flows with a force of warpping space and to a degree, time. It is, simply, an embodiment of those very notions which pulse around it. The key leans more towards a wand method of use, casting its aura as magics, but is still well enough off to make for a melée tool.

Judgment - More of a periphary weapon, as it's functions in magics seem to hark to more of a support basis. It is seen either weilded in Kala's opposite hand, or more so by her tail. Remniscent of the macabre superstitions, the weapon boasts a scythe built upon the end. Functions of Judgment span across the forces of a life beyond the physical, and in itself, acts as the gateway through which a soul may leave its body. An enemy struck down in battle will loose his or her soul unto the next world.

Expanding the role of Judgment is its tendency to attract and absorb souls that it comes unto contact with. From entry, what positive energy that may exist for such souls to create us siphoned into Kala's own. The remains of the soul are negative, and restrained by the fact that the key is composed of a similar negitivity. Otherwise, the destructive nature of the negitive soul would lay waste to the weapon itself. Contact with the latter portion of the soul leads unto a spiritual implosion of the target, wasting their lifeforce in setting against itself.

Yet the weapon needs very few souls to sustain it through a period of time. The limitless potential of the soul provides for a single soul to provide enough positive and negitive energy to last the manipulator well over a year's time. And since new souls are continuously sprouting into being, its resivior of fuel is constantly stocked.

    Magic:
Kala is what might label as a Soul Weaver, or otherwise, a necromaner. It is a whimsical breed of dark magics, encompassing spirits as its primary hub of works. While not limited to such entities, Kala's work in this branch of magic is centered around the souls of the deceased (which isn't limited to humans). Through Keyblade, and through her own magic, she gathers, harnesses, and ultimately manipulates the souls of the lingering damned and summons them from their realms if origins. Through a forced art, she bends the wills of these semi sentient beings to coincide wither own, and restore them unto a body, or into certain inanimate objects for an interval. The energy of those souls that Judgment absorbs acts as a supplement for her own lifeforce, providing her extended magical prowess for casting forth the energy that is darkness. And in fact, with a fresh soul running within her being, she need not utilize her personal reserves for half a year, when the depletion of the soul sets in hardest during relatively laidback periods.

Bio: Back in the day, well, actually, more like, in an age long since passed, there existed an older chap, living in the backwaters of the Realm of Light. His affiliations, to this day, remain known by only a handful of people who may or may not be willing to tell of them. Any information of that nature has been stifled by the everlasting flow of the times. What was known of this man was that his name had been Kuan Dailel, and that he was not simply a human; he was a sorcerer by trade. Versed in the studies of magics and practices that would have, at that time, been considered the work of a heathen. To put the matter in a simple perspective: He was a man whose affinities were as a cross between Ansem the Wise, and Yen Sid.

Kuan’s research into what the worlds were, and what secrets they barred from the normal human sights drew his attentions into the same allure as so many others. He strayed, diving deeper and deeper into the cosmic forces of Light, Darkness, and Nothingness. These studies lead him down various, simultaneous paths of study, one of which grew into the arts of necromancy, and studying the physical and spiritual life cycles of things. But the more knowledge he gained any fragment of his research, the less capable he became of comprehending what it was that he had discovered. In an easier term to understand, he was going insane, beyond any previous definition of the word.

Eventually, as senility set in, his insanity would mount to the point that he blindly performed dangerous spiritual, and emotional research on his own son. Needless to say, the father’s fractured mentality, and the lack of awareness on his son’s part, lead to the latter’s imminent end. But the father was not without a further test subject. The wife of his son had given birth, some fifteen years prior, to a gorgeous daughter, who they had named Kala, something primitive, yet effective. It wasn’t that it mattered what her name was to her grandfather though. She would wind up living in his care for the next for years to come.

During this interval, seemingly under the Kala’s guide, Kuan Dailel’s persona evened out, and reestablished. She had thought herself clever, and having reasoned him out of the continuation of his horrid studies that had left her father undone. But it was she who had been outsmarted in the end. Four years passed, with little secrecy on the surface of Kala’s life with her grandfather. Yet when she stole a peak into his once teaming laboratory one fine spring day, she discovered that his experiments had lived on, in a gestured veil. She could do little at this point to stop what she knew him to be doing, but was, nonetheless, shocked to find that he had found his way into the darkness, and dared to venture there.

With love for her grandfather, and loyalty to her family name, she rushed into the darkness herself. But her venture was only made to find the limp body of the old man slowly waning from existence. He had taxed his aged frame too far beyond the limit, and now, he was to die in the arms of his grad daughter. Awkwardly, though, he was smiling up at her, almost happy to see that she had come for him, though not so much to see her in general. He laughed out a shriek that was partially a moan, and his eyes, staring with deception, and malice, glared into Kala’s. The last words she would here from her grandfather were not the standard “I’ll always be there,†or the “I love you, my grand daughter.†The only words he seemed to have for her in parting were: “Gotcha!â€

Furious, and on top of that, lost from her path back to the light, Kala was forced to stray into the darkness herself. Younger, filled with a greater vitality than even her father had once been, she staved off the darkness for as best she could. But even she was being affected after a short while. She would starve herself for days just to find that she hadn’t died as planned. Try as she might, she found that she needed less and less sleep to sustain herself. She was motivated by the pure will of her heart pushing her to survive in such a horrid place. When she finally emerged, after what should have been the entirety of her life, she found that she had not aged at all, and that in her hand, was a macabre looking item, bearing the resemblance to a key, and a sword at once.

Believing that her trials had been a judgment of her resolve, she named it as Judgment.

But Kala was far from finished with her trials. She had emerged from darkness, not into light, but into pure nothingness. It was a purgatory, a place in which everything lingered on when it couldn’t move on. Or at least, that’s what it had been to her at first, until she realized that Nothingness was another step on the path of creation and destruction. Through her experience there, she came to possess yet another Keyblade, one reflective of her time in Naught. For no reason that she could discern, she dubbed this weapon as Total Eclipse.

It was in more recent days that Kala has found her way back into the light. But when she did return, she found that the worlds had changed, and she had changed, perhaps even more so. Mutated beyond any former recognition, and even so, long passed her days in which she should have lived out, she made headway into the worlds with the inexplicable desire to spiral the worlds into chaos…. The darkness, and the nothingness, had severed her mentality.

Extra: There is a reason for her having changed her name. For one, she desires to start a new life for herself, as a new person, to go with the mutation that came upon her as she strayed. As well, she has taken up the name of her grandfather, as a sort of dark homage to the curse he brought upon her.

The young girl fell with ease before Zei’s onslaught. She landed onto the sandboxed earth with a thud some distance away from his starting position. She appears to have had a significantly weaker level of resistance to my attack. What was she even doing in the midst of a battle? So odd was this thought that he had suffered a brief lapse in concentration, overshooting her flailed body by fifty feet. Skidding to a halt, now roughly seventy feet out, he repoised his posture to a balanced one, and motioned at a steadier pace back towards her body, lying still upon the ground. If she were hurt, would he be expected to help her?

But another had come to join in the fray. Standing over the girl’s seemingly weakening visage was a familiar figure, uncaring of the girl, though taking great pride in what she was relinquishing to him. The being from before, having summoned heartless upon the grounds of the camp, was taking possession of what must have been key documents regarding the Light’s armies. As dictated by the elders, I must stop him…. Perpetual Balance is key to preserving the existence of Darkness, Light, and Nothingness. Without it, all, even nothing itself, would crumble.

But by that point, the chance to stop the transaction’s completion had run its course. The man had vanished, and the documents lost to the darkness. “Forgive me, Fathers. But I’ll need just a little more time to make things as you’ve wished them to be.” His attentions now fell upon the young girl at his feet. She showed few signs of a vitality, and was perhaps dying where she rested. And to mount onto this, she was still a child, and one who had no business in a war.

He wouldn’t have such a thing happen just yet, not until the time had come for the Light’s forces to be dwindled down again. Taking a knee at her side, he commenced with a specialized healing, sourcing his life force unto the girl. She would be able to come back into the swing of things shortly, assuming the healing went as planned.

Yet when Zei had thought all to be calm again, the sound of an explosion permeated through the night. The camp was under siege again, and this time, it was fiercer. Wasting little time, he hoisted the child into his arms, cradling her as he cut through the remaining tents and debris. She’d not be safe for long in his arms. The heartless were keen to attack those who traveled alone.
