I know what you mean. I've only seen maybe half the first Higurashi episode, then realized i didn't want to go any further...... Death Note, I've seen maybe one scene. I honestly think the plot is dumb. Higurashi has a much better story, but many people think that little kids with knives and teens beating little kids is sick and shouldn't be allowed in the U.S.

I agree completely. You see, she's always watching whatever anime show she wants, and her mom doesn't care. And it's not just that that I'm upset with her about. She listens to nasty songs with cuss words in them, and her mom knows THAT. She just lets her listen to any song she wants to hear. I asked her why and she said because those songs have good beats...... She thinks she's mature enough to handle these types of things---but she isn't!!!! I've met her mom and i thought she was very nice, but maybe she's just TOO nice.

Uhhg. Higurashi i hear is disgustingly gory, yet Elfen Leid is just....disgusting. Only the last episode of Death Note is bloody, or at least that's what my friend told me. I honestly don't care for those anime....
