If we're sharing a server, then could it 8e rel8ed to the activity of other sites on the server?

From what I gather, admins are a8le to repair it in some scenarios, while in others, we just have to w8 it out.

Seinen is 8asically a more serious style of manga. Often philosophical concepts, such as those of reality or morality will 8e challenged, and the plot will differ greatly from conventional stories, giving it a grittier, more realistic effect. The art style often (but not always) matches this, going for 8etter proportioned people, instead of the harsh caricatures used for most Shounen. Cynicism is far more common than idealism in this genre, and if any idealism is present, you can guarantee that by the end it will 8e gone.

Furthermore, due to the older demographic, holds on what is accepta8le are far looser, so prepare to see rape, mutil8ion or gore if you venture into it. Keep in mind that children are a particularly popular target for these f8s due to their perceived innocence. Even though sex may 8e present, Seinen is not a genre of hentai. Any sex usually portrays the minimum, and is almost always heavily ingrained in the plot itself. (Unless the manga/anime has a co-genre of ecchi, à la School Days.)

All that said, I find it to 8e one of the more rewarding genres. While it may lack the flashy fights of Shounen, or the romance/drama of Shoujo, it has its own attractions, which will cause it to linger in your mind long after finishing it.

As a recommend8ion, I'd suggest reading 'Bokurano' as a starting point for a manga seinen. It has the death of children, 8ut there is no on-screen child a8use, and it uses a minimalist style, meaning there's little graphic content. It explores human mentality through a sequence of connected short stories focusing on a group of young teens.

That's just my personal taste though. A critically acclaimed Seinen is Akira, which has also 8een made into a landmark film, paving the way for many others in the western world.

Another that's fairly well known on this forum is Elfen Lied. This one is high on shock value, although the core messages are still worth the watch. The anime is trunc8ed, while the manga has a disappointing ending.

I'm wary of live-action movies, so I'll reserve the right to give judgement until after I've seen it. CG and visual effects will 8e nice, I imagine.

I think the actors' appearances and clothes could 8e more accur8 though. Their current look 8ugs me. Fey's hair is red, not 8rown, Edgey isn't wearing the red jacket, etc.

Firstly, thanks for uploading these, and 8eing so receptive towards suggestions and criticisms.

May I recommend investig8ing other hosting sites, such as Dropbox or Megaupload if Mediafire is proving too constricting? Here's a fairly detailed list of sites that you may like to have a 8rief look at. Most have their downsides, so it may 8e to your liking to mirror the files to multiple sites. That'd also save the downloader the trou8le of download limits, and avoid the pro8lem of files 8eing deleted/corrupted.

Your reluctance to do it for this one only makes us more eager to hear it. What dastardly secrets are hidden there?

lol, this'll 8e rejected. Failing to act due to lack of a8ility in these situ8ions is not a crime. The only way it could 8e manslaughter would 8e if they undou8tedly knew that there was going to 8e a quake (not an exact science) and they chose not to tell anyone. That seems to 8e far from the case here, so I expect it to 8e rejected.

I was under the impression the intention was to get women on active service, not to get women on active service with men. Segreg8ion 8etween sexes is nothing new. It works incredi8ly well in schools and sports, so I see little reason not to attempt to do the same thing in the military.

Also, are we using Tinychat, Voxli or Skype, as Rissy suggested? Voxli has the fun icons, and is pro8a8ly the 8est for this sort of thing, 8ut Tinychat has video feed, which could 8e interesting. Skype is just plain inconvenient, so forget I said anything. ::::x

Well it's important to note that Anonymous isn't an organis8ion; it's a 8unch of people working towards the same goal. So it's fully possi8le that some Anonymous hacked the site, while others didn't approve of the actions, and didn't want them sanctioned 8y Anonymous, possi8ly 8ecause it would gr8ly affect them in the eyes of the pu8lic. So the situ8ion appears to 8e that Anonymous didn't do the hacking, when, in fact, it was a few rogue Anonymous.

Altern8ively, it's some other hackers who attempted to 8lame it on Anonymous.

Coffee and tea are 8ad for the diet? I can understand that the milk might 8e 8ad, 8ut I was under the impression that tea was just water flavoured with leaves. I'm not too sure a8out the coffee, 8ut I can't think of anything majorly fattening in that either. I thought that it was the soft drinks that were the killers.

The walking thing is a gr8 idea. Personally, I find it helps to su8stitute it in for a route you would normally drive or 8us on, so that you have motiv8ion to do the walking, to get from point A to point 8.

What's this a8out a message left in the files? Anyone got a source?

Good idea. Hopefully this goes well. My only concern would 8e that the questions won't get all the attention they deserve due to 8eing placed next to other questions, 8ut that may 8e outweighed 8y 8eing on the front page.

    A few possi8ilities here.

    1. A certain path/key is required to find Ven's room. Without it, there's no possi8ility of finding it at all.
    2. The Organis8ion has horri8le luck.
    3. Castle O8livion is semi-sentient, and is actively hiding Ven from them.

Whatever it is, it's certainly not for lack of trying on their part. Xemnas has 8een attempting to 'stum8le upon' Ven's room for years, from what I gather.

I'm rather fond of a guy called Tetsuya Nomura. That Kojima guy also does pretty good stuff. I like how they make their movies semi-interactive every once and a while. It adds a sense of immersion that one normally doesn't get when watching a movie. I think they're onto something there.
