    i know exactly what you are talking about since i have that game hahahah.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    but honestly, I've also seen people saying how desmonds lineage is all screwy and how there couldn't possibly be native american in him AND italian AND syrian, etc. etc. etc. and thats not true. A lot of people say they have some native american in them and they don't look it at all. not everyone has to look like pocahontas in order to be native american. plus, lineages come from everywhere. take me for example, russian, japanese, italian, french. like wtf its from everywhere, so it's obviously possible.
    the tree idea i really like, definitely innovative and would add a new aspect to gameplay seeing as how i don't know if they would have zip lines in AC3 and would once again take away a gameplay aspect (even if the zip lines never went the way you wanted them to go).
    i just really want to see how they put in the founding fathers, it'll be interesting to see how they intertwine the native american history with it all. because in fact, the revolutionary war was one of the most extensive wars that the native americans fought in, so i wouldn't be surprised to see some tribe on tribe action.....fighting. most likely the main character would be of iroquois descent because they were living around upstate new york, etc. but idk. also, they couldn't decide on which side to fight with during the war so it could potentially add some sort of internal conflict and character development within the game similar to how altair had to deal with al muslim, abbas, and the rest of the creed, often times having to make tough decisions on which side to choose.
    i am so pleased that this takes place during the american revolution. like beyond pleased. i love american history and can't wait to see the founding fathers and how they are incorporated into the plot. to everyone who I've seen comment on like game informer, etc. being all butthurt over the fact that it wasn't set in feudal japan kawaii desu get over yourself you know it doesn't fit in with the plot line of the story. besides, you have to finish desmonds plot line first before jumping into another one with perhaps shao jun (who was chinese btw). any who, the box art look great and tomahawks are a plus. i'm hoping this one isn't so dlc-ish as revelations was even though i still loved it to pieces (as i am not a picky gamer). also, like the pictures showed, america was a lot more developed in the late 1700- early 1800s than people give us credit for. whatever, i know people "dislike" america, but honestly I'm not ashamed to be an american and actually really appreciative and intrigued by our history.
    *also, yes, renaissance italy and the middle east have much more "history" than america does because it is a young country, but that's us looking at it from a present day perspective. you really can't judge the past like that from today's eyes, everything will look different than how it actually occurred. every country on the face of the earth has war, it's just that america is a young country and obviously hasn't had "time" to become as war-filled or filled with "ancient cultural history" like oh i don't know? ancient rome or the ottoman empire????? ring any bells????
    i like the idea of running through revolutionary america, and considering how so many of today's youth are completely ignorant with american history, or history in general, it might do them some good to play a game that incorporates educational elements whether you notice them or not (database info that shaun gives, remember???). i give ubisoft props for the extensive research they do for the assassins creed games and how fluid they are, and it has lead me to more personal research of history out of interest.
    tl;dr: i'm pumped.
    i dont feel like going back to look for quotes in this conversation but i think makaze was taking what i said the wrong way. i think my standards are really high personality and looks wise, and there's nothing wrong with that. and honestly, if i have good friends (which i do), they can be almost like advisers in my decision. it's just what girls do when they swoon over guys. "oh you think he's cute?" "girl omg yes go for it." it's just how things go. there's nothing wrong with looking for someone who is attractive to you, as long as it's not the only thing you look for. maybe when you're younger your peers influence you more, but especially now that i am in college, i'm not even in a clique anymore because no one from your high school is really in your college, except for a select few amount of people. but let me give you an example, my friend named shannon has this tendency to pick out guys who are not very attractive (I'm saying this from my point of view, i never said this to her and she later admits this on her own) and instead tries to base her relationships off of their personality, while that sounds noble, eventually after you get used to the person if you are not physically attracted to the person it will never work. it isn't shallow if looks influence your decision. and like misty said, you can try to be above it all, but in the end human nature is to pick out someone who fills your standards. animals do it too. why do you think they puff out their chests and have all different shades of colors in order to mate? so that the female can pick a healthy counterpart to reproduce with. of course animals are a little different because humans have more emotional range, but it's the same idea.
    yeah that's how i feel sometimes too, it's not shallow at all. everyone has their preferences and especially in our friend circles we always want to choose someone that will be approved by our peers. like i personally know i'm pretty picky and have a tendency to friend zone a lot of people because i think my standards are pretty high. but i think there's a point where eventually if you don't have contact with that person after a while you can get over that initial "hmmm do i want to be just friends or something more" and become really close friends with someone. it's definitely a confusing time until you figure it out, almost like a chess game where you have to calculate every word you say so that you don't give them the wrong idea.
    i think in my case it was. but it made it even harder to try to keep him as a friend in my mind especially because he was physically attractive. and although it's not all that should matter, don't you think physical attractiveness is a factor in whether or not you see someone as a friend or a potential date? cause i think so in a way.
