The edit? *laughs* No, no. I was watching it again and Oblivion was on his right. I'm an idiot like that. And if Memories Skyscraper was really programmed/built to do that, what proof do you have aside from the Secret Ending (I heard that already) and the name?
Well, that's the tricky part. Spoiler So, Xion dies, Roxas cries, he finds the Thalassa shell, whatever. Then a day after, you see him in TWTNW, hood up, two Kingdom Keys. He raises them up in the air and transform (this part is unexplained) them to Oathkeeper and Oblivion, Oblivion on his left, I believe. Just for picturing. Then he goes to Memory/Memories Skyscraper and finds Riku there, atop the building with his blindfold. He charges, running up the building and throws up the Keyblade, Oblivion, to Riku, and he catches it, jumping down in the process. Roxas then notices that Riku just falls down the building, not clashing with him halfway as I assumed he planned. Why? In that span of time, he had a rush of memories of Xion, the moment he held Oblivion. And then the rush of memories repeat again when he lands only blurrier, representing how he really shouldn't be remembering her. In other words:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1fL6N0T40E I consider this almost a given that it's her Keyblade...and wikia said so last time I checked. >.> EDIT: Whoopsie daises. That was his right.
Loophole to your theory: Sora was sleeping in a pod, Roxas ran around the worlds taking Heartless out. If they had the same body, then that would make Sora some almighty god of some sort who can be at two places at once, which he's not. And we are dealing with Roxas here. He wasn't exactly "made" right, since Sora still exists. ...wha? Body of light? What? Where did you get this? Is it actually stated in the game? Ansem the Wise certainly didn't say anything like "he created a body of light" or what not. I'm not being mean here, Xeitr. It's just your theory has not made much sense. Well, regarding this matter. He's a Keyblade wielder by heart. I'm pretty sure just holding a real Keyblade and a real sham will be enough to tell the difference. Although, this is extremely tentative as I have not much to back it up with, and it wasn't stated in the game. Though I will say that Keyblades are mystical weapons. They have ways. Before stating something as a fact, please remember you're basing these off with your own theories. That is all. Spoiler Ventus is sleeping in Castle Oblivion. Roxas is still running around the worlds doing the Organization's bidding ("WORK ROXAS! WORK! -whappack-" -Xemnas). Well, Riku is a Keyblade bearer by heart, so he could hold Oblivion. But, assuming I'm right, he could actually still hold on to it because Roxas gave it to him willingly (he threw it up the skyscraper like some boomerang and Riku caught it), so that must mean some-- HOLY COW! I just remembered something! Spoiler Oblivion = Xion's Keyblade. That's gotta mean something. And yes, Limex. Try to control your...er, use of words. You might get suspended or something.
Thus bringing us to the question, what ARE keychains? This is exactly why this might (might) be better off as a thread on its own, as it's already straying away from Sora gaining the Keyblade or whatnot. XD And whoever (if you want this edited, inform me please.) said keychains were parts of the souls of people, where did (or do you think) the keychain of Kingdom Key come from? Let's try to relate this to the thread? :3
*smiles* That's good. And I'm a girl, in case you didn't know. *laughs* Meh, you can call me dude.
From what I know, just the Keyblade of Heart. And Terra's Keyblade in FM+, but that was just because Nomura hadn't designed it yet. All the important Keyblades have keychains, from what I remember.
...Roughly a thousand. o.o Technically.
Okay. I'll edit this post when I get them. XD EDIT: Well that was a fail. Anyone care to tell me? I'm clueless beyond all reason. *improvises* http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/File:Graveyard_Keyblades.png The Keyblades of Keyblade Graveyard...or so wiki says. http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/File:Keyblade_of_People%27s_Hearts_KH.png Keyblade of Heart, which has no keychain. None of these Keyblades have Keychains and it's keeping me up at night...
Yeah, there is. It's kind of bothering me just what, though... Xion went back to Sora, didn't she? She must have known enough to know where she was going to actually end up in. Roxas getting her Keyblade though...I'm going to assume since he had Sora's memories, he could summon it. But hell, even that's not a good explanation... Riku's a Keyblade wielder, at the very least. We don't know what mumbo jumbo Mickey made him do in that year. For all you know, he can actually tell a sham from a real Keyblade and all. Besides, why would she have her own Keyblade? She's, admit it, a puppet. She's nowhere near a human, and the Organization couldn't program the power of the Keyblade into her. If they could, they wouldn't even need Roxas or Xion. But I agree with you here, though it's shaky because there's not much proof supporting these. Still, I'd like to hear inferences/theories. How exactly does he have Sora's body, and if Nobodies' existence ran on memories, wouldn't Roxas be...dead? He had zero memories of Sora because they were all in him when he was created and because Xion kept taking them. All he ever got to real memories in the time-line of Days were deja vu memories and much later on, dreams of a boy in red. If that's all he ever had, wouldn't--theoretically speaking--Roxas be weak beyond all reason? I'm not being mean, I'd just like an explanation. I will agree with you saying Riku is only human. However, you can't compare us to him. He's in the game. He's seen the Keyblade work first hand and held one. He's actually used one, even if it was just a moment. He can very well know so much more than we do since he's seen it. "Firsthand". Besides, he's been with the King for so long, maybe he's taught him a lot about Keyblades. May as well trained him. We don't know just how strong Sora's memories are being in Xion. For all we know, the Keyblade was just purely made of memories, and the Keyblades own existence was fueled by Sora's memories and functioned like that based on what Sora's memories "remember" the Keyblade doing. Just because it functions like the original doesn't mean it makes the thing original itself. Over analyzing exercises our brains. XD Do I still need the pictures? Just tell me, I'll edit/post. Depends how you tell me. EDIT: Spoiler In relation to Roxas summoning Xion's Keyblade, it's probably a common ability among Keyblade wielders to summon others. Aqua gained Master Eraqus's during the ending of Birth by Sleep, when she was found trapped in the Realm of Darkness.
Yeah, no one's replying. Is alright; it's not so related and can really go off as a thread on its own. Unless someone would like to answer it? *hint hint at people reading*
*laughs*. ^^ Like I said, we'd never know because it's never happened before. Maybe there's some condition to Nobodies being real Somebodies. After all, he IS Sora's Nobody. Though him becoming a person could cause major conflict with the KH universe. :/ Poor Roxas.
Well, okay. Now that you say it, there is a possibility considering that's actually never happened before as far as we know, so it is by inference. BUT. Spoiler Roxas's body is like a carbon copy of Ven's. If he did have Ven's heart, then perhaps his memories will go along with his heart. Why I think this, he could still actually talk to Sora, remember his friends (thus why he knew he was sad, all that whatevers) as a heart separated from his body. This is also evident with Xehanort, since when he posessed Terra's body, he remembered all of what he remembers and such. Which proves my point that it is more likely for Roxas to become Ven if he had his heart. I would like to hear what you have to back up what you say, though. :3 Perhaps I'm at the losing end, with what you could be thinking. *cough*lockedupissuchaharshword*cough*...>.>
None of this is just adding up. If Xion's Keyblade was real, why would Riku say it's a sham? She can't wield a real Keyblade because she has no heart to begin with, and no heart she's really close to. Manifestation of Sora's memories and all. Spoiler Then there's the whole Ven-Roxas thing. If Roxas had Ven's heart, he'd be Ven. Period. Sorry, Limex. But you may want to really think about your theories. Gaming Reploid, I know how it feels to read 10 pages of thread. We were just arguing in circles (and kept going 'round and 'round and 'round...>.>). Judging from what you said about Riku, does this mean he was training under the King? I'm more of wondering. I don't think I caught any part in KH relating to that, if there was.
I believed you were going somewhere. What the hell man. ...XD
First of all, am I too late? D: 1. For this one, it's only an opinion you have of people. You feel like they have to see the light soon--see that popularity isn't the key to everything. That they shouldn't act like the center of the world...so on. Your mother must be exaggerating, calling you a grumpy old man at 11. There really are some kids who just mature early. Who see the world for what it is. 2. Ah...I had a fair-weather friend who felt empty, too. Out of curiosity, I asked him when he started feeling like this, and he told me when he was 8. When a close relative of his died. If you can look back, maybe you can pinpoint just what is making you feel so empty. Of course, quantity < quality. I don't have a whole lot of friends either, and it makes me feel lonely and empty, too. When they do come around, it makes me feel lucky that I'm not one of those who have so much fake friends. I'm sure you consider yourself lucky as well. :3 3. Ah, girls. Actually, I'm one myself. I study in an all girls school, so I can't exactly tell if it's just weird how they act around you, by inference, or if it's quite normal. Judging, though, by the way all my classmates talk about boys (or boy), I can say this is quite normal. Consider this a compliment--it means you're quite the charming one and have quite the attitude that shows up sometimes, perhaps. But please, don't feel awkward around me. :D Other people being stupid? Well, some are for what you see them do. Personally, I wouldn't say stupid. But of course, I can't tell you what you can and cannot do because I have no control over you, whatsoever. About "I act like myself...but I'm not sure if that's me.", perhaps it's just a sense of insecurity. If you think it just doesn't feel like you...then, just give it time. I always thought I was the shy, reserved one, but here I am jumping over tables, laughing like an idiot, and approaching teachers and principals, greeting them with a smile and a sense of humor that I never showed anyone except real friends. It's also very okay to think deeply. I believe it enhances your logic/knowledge. But of course, there's a right time for deep thinking and maybe shallow thinking, just to humor your friends or to not over-think thinks. I'm sorry, by the way, if I came around too late. If you're not stuck anymore, I'm happy for you. :3
Hey man, you have a lot of people supporting you. Or at the very least, care enough to read and reply. Everything will be fine, don't worry. There are dark times and bright times, all that matters is how you handle it. How long you hold on. :3
It has? Well, no matter. I guess if I bring up the question again, other people might pitch in. :3 Well, I was more of wondering about the keychain itself, and the Keyblades with no keychains. For example; the Keyblade of Heart. It had no keychain, what does that make it? If it is because of the keychain being a part/manifestation/representation of one's soul, why would Kingdom Key have its own keychain from the start? I'm just trying to keep the thread alive, since it can't be locked. As of now. Oh, and what about Keyblades that lost keychains? Like Terra's Keyblade, or pretty much every other Keyblade in Keyblade Graveyard, by the looks of it.
Could I spark up another question about Keyblades? Cause I was wondering what people think of some Keyblades not having keychains. I don't recall anyone saying anything about that. If it's too off-topic, feel free to slap it across my face. XD
Yeah, he did. :3 From Aqua, supposedly. I just don't get how. .__.
If I may, I'd like to state something here. Xion's Keyblade wasn't exactly a Keyblade. Riku labeled it as "a sham", so from that, we can infer it is some manifestation of the memories of Sora, since her very existence relies on Sora's memories. Then there's the case of Ven-Roxas...whatever. Spoiler I'll agree with mixt, except I honestly don't believe Roxas having his own Keyblade. :| It just doesn't make sense for him to have his own Keyblade, if Sora technically already has two Keyblades cause of Ven. Period. Other than that, I have nothing else to say. I'll pitch in when I feel like it. .__. I can't type so well right now, anyway.
