Also in twilight when (Don’t want to give anything away to those who haven’t read the book) in the second book, the scene between Bella and Edward in the woods and during the time change. I cried like crazy every time I turned a page, Edward is an idiot (but only in the 2ed book).
As you put it "IT" would kill Bella, all of the body fluids are replaced by venom. Pulse all organs freeze. This is just speculations, and educated guesses, based on the book this is what I gather. This probably has something to do with Edwards’s views in the third book to.
