Celeste caught the dark stone in her hands when her friend had tossed it over to her. Everything was happening so fast. First, she was hauling her friend to his feet. Next, he was the one who protected her from some sort of blast then, he was urging her to move forward when he decides to go back himself. It made her so angry. She pouted fiercely and felt herself build up inside.


"There's still others back there... Take it and go!"

"D-don't! Don't leave me! Kendric! Kendric...! Don't... YOU DARE LEAVE ME!"

She immediately clasped her hands over her mouth after her last words. She could feel tears welling up in her eyes and tempting to escape the corners of them. She started of crying out for him, but those last words came out as a roar. It disgusted her. She was changing. She was becoming a monster. She blinked the tears out of her eyes, as they glided down her cheeks. That's when she noticed the feeling on her lips from her hands was different. It didn't feel like skin. She slowly brought her hands in front of her field of vision. One of them held the dark stone Kendric had told her to keep, but both were the same. They were padded, now full-fledged tiger paws complete with thick, black claws. Fur of the same tanned colour of her skin even covered her paws, climbing up her forearms but disappearing gradually as they reached her upper arms. It gradients from fur at the tips of her fingers to the human skin still at her shoulders. She practically jumped at the sight of them, dropping the stone on the ground. Alarmed, she quickly fell on her fours, attempting to grab the stone with her paw as tears streamed down her faced, 'Ugh! No good shapeshifting!! This is ridiculous! Why... why did Kendric have to leave me? I don't know what's going to happen anymore. I just don't...'

Desperately, she crouches down closer to the ground and uses her fangs to grab the stone then claws at her skirt to lift it up to her mouth, dropping the stone safely into her pocket. It was the only way she could have held it and kept it safe. She looked back at the direction of where Kendric had gone back to. 'Follow your orders, Soldier. Run.' Rung back into her head as a sane reminder even though her body kept transforming. The bones in her body began to crack and reform - since she was only half in her state of mind the pain only half-hurt as well and at this point she could ignore it. She could feel her canvas metal-bottom shoes break out beneath her and her toenails growing. She had a weird feeling in her spine again, as if the dragon wings had wanted to come back but again, for that moment, she had ignored it. Her rabbit ears twitched as they picked up on what Kendric was saying, suddenly "Less playing hero, more running away." Hearing that just frustrated her and immediately she saw him, holding two others. 'Hypocrite.'

Then, as if that was the final whisper of Celeste's voice in her head, her eyes changed to the colour of panther yellow and her pupils changed into slits. The shapeshifter got up on her feet, as she began to walk. Metal klings and clangs echoed through the hall she was in joined by the scratching sound of thick claws that pierced through her shoes that made contact on the ground. Thick, dragon wings that protruded from her spine, flapped ever so slightly as she stalked the halls. Her tiger paws and claws on her right hand grazed the walls. Fur had covered her arms and legs by this point, but her clothes were still on with an exclusion of her broken shoes and she was roughly still the same size, only larger with the addition of her dragon wings. As her tongue licked over her incredibly fangs it was obvious that Celeste had gone... and the monster took over.

A smile cracked on the rabbit-tiger-panther-dragon-human hybrid's lips and immediately the creature lunged forward running on her feet at first but then dropping on all fours as she picked up on speed. The monster passed many injured students, not stopping for them even at the slightest. She probably even hit them without knowing - or rather, without caring with either her paws or dragon wings. She passed other students too, without even the faintest look towards them - including the students she met before, Abi and Alayah - but rather a roar for them to get out of her way. The stone was still safely in her pocket, but that didn't matter to the transformed girl right now in fact she probably already forgot about it. At the moment she was an animal that was trapped in a cage with nothing else on its mind except for escape.

I always thought I would start with the appearance, being an incredibly visual person and I think that really helps but sometimes it's just SO RANDOM. Um, I just got back into RPing officially this year and my main concern with creating characters, or RPs in general is that I want to challenge myself. When I think of characters, it literally is so random where I start because sometimes I look back at one character I made and I think, oh I want to make something different than that. I usually look for something I haven't done and I build it on that. I do start with ONE THING. It's usually random at times in terms of where in the skeleton but I definitely start with one thing - like, even with personality - I start with a word and then I build everything up on that. I think about what that character desires, been through, core personality and little habits, I sometimes base them on people I know or read about, one thing about that person only again. I can tell you though that I usually - usually being almost always - name them last and with past experiences, (being two out of six characters haha) start with appearance.

No, they do not come easy! Haha! I admit that I spend so much time creating a character or filling out a skeleton - even though in the end all I gice out is super simple because I treat character creation for RPs like I treat original character that I draw and stuff. I create them like I'd create someone for a comic I'd make on my own. I like to think very well about them and study them like an actor studies a character he or she would play - even though I only say so little about them in the character skeleton. I mean, thinking of that first concept I use to create the character may come easy, orI have to think hard about it - it usually does come easy, but then I dive into the character's desires, conflicts, reasons for being this and that, age, sexuality and all other things - these I love to take my time in. I would even spend two days create a character - I really would.

I prefer to have everything laid out from the start, and I like to think that I do but obviously, RPs aren't done alone. I may have things planned in my head but just because a situation can hinder me from that and change my character's personality or how she/he interacts with people I'm not going to push for what I want. I mean, I don't lose character but I definitely like to keep them flexible - because RPs don't really go the way you usually want them (unless you control the RP of course, but at some points they still don't, the only difference is you actually have authority to change that) so I like to go with whatever happens. So conclusively, it's a little bit of both.

I love seeing personality, weakness and strength, and appearance. Those are my top three things because I usually base the ENTIRE character out of one of those three. Um, I personally don't like seeing "bio", of course just in my own personal opinion. I don't know. I just don't really like it when everyone knows everything about your character. I mean, that's how it is when you RP anyway - usually, unless you planned to be siblings, best friends, boyfriend/girlfriend with someone else's character - no one else's character should be completely aware of what your character has been through because I believe their past/bio creates a character and I think the creator of the character should know this. I mean, bios help so that you really remember things but I personally just don't like filling them out.

Plastered makes it seem so violent!! Haha, but um, if it appeals me, I'm going to honestly say... yes. I'm all about visuals and if something catches my eye, I'm really going to be drawn to it. However, of course, it boils down to the content - which is much more important but if the content is as great as the visuals then amazing! Absolutely. Yes.

I use them all the time and I honestly do that because it helps me remember who I'm playing. I like to have the appearance, of course, of the character on my banners and whenever I choose appearances I like them to match the personality of the character so banners aren't just to snazz up my posts but they're really to help me get into character and such.

Yes! I just love to do it, it's really fun to make and like I mentioned, it helps me get closer to the character.

I think it's cool and it shows how committed and "into-it" an RPer is. I really appreciate it, and I do listen to them while I read the RP, or I read their posts or something - because it's there for a reason and I let the music help me understand more about the post or RP.

No, not much. Of course, I do care if it's credited haha (plagiarism is a no no) but I do care about the source when I end up really, really liking the song to the point where I'd want to get it on my iPod.

Yup! Yup! Yup! I thought that was about question 4 actually so yeah. whoops.

Well, I spend about 5 - 15 minutes on a post, I think. I don't really time myself haha, but I feel like that's about the amount of time I use for my average posts which are about 3 paragraphs in length minimum. I remember spending more time on a much longer post I've done before, probably close to 20 minutes maybe? But that's definitely the longest. I like to write "in the now" or "in the moment" after I've read through all the posts since my last one and I can freely react to them as if I were the character itself, so I don't like to spend too much time, but of course writing takes time and if I'm not too lazy I like to look back at what I write and check if I had anything misspelled (because I probably would have) or anything grammatically wrong.

I think it all depends on who is writing, I mean the amount of time spent on a post doesn't relate on how well the person role plays or the quality of the post. If someone can write a incredibly detailed, lengthy post in five minutes then, why not? If someone could write a short quality post in ten then, why not? It all depends on the person, but I think as long as the person doesn't drag on for too long - too long being days after to the point where it's not about being busy or writers block but because of the lack of commitment, only then does it bother me.

Not really an issue, but more like a "oh no I have to edit!!". I end up blaming it on myself really, haha but it really isn't much of a problem to me. I just go back to my post, read the one who posted while I was writing, then I edit my post if ever necessary. This is exactly why before a post, I copy everything I just wrote, including graphics and colours then I refresh the page, if no one posted I post mine no problem. If someone did, I just continue writing hehe
