"You're just a failure of a god," He said as he appeared a lot closer, within blade range, of Ferin. He just shadowstepped. Now, the banishing sword near the breast of the god. "I am just as immortal as you!"
"I am drow... I am shade... You lose your advantage here." He spoke, speeding towards the inferno, releasing Zilvinidia, her icy touch banishing the flame. He closed in, releasing his other cutlass out of its scabbard. Mournagh, the shining green bladed sword, who was surrounded by shadows, came rushing out of his scabbard, racing towards the god. No armour, no matter how heavily enchanted, was safe from the banishing blade.
Tetsuya heard the tree fall. He ignored it and rested against a building. He watched the daylight sun.
Vallyn, not wanting to break his moral code, walked forward. "A fire deity is much weaker on the mortal plane, as you should know." Vallyn spoke softly, his voice like velvet. He fingered Mournagh gently, feeling its magical power. "And a father should never harm his son."
"That it will, my friend..." Sessamaru whispered, walking farther and farther ahead. "We'll rest..."
Vallyn was caught. He wanted to kill the fire immortal in front of him, he had Mournagh, the banishing cutlass, but his brother was much farther away. The shadow sword demanded an immortal soul. He shrugged. "Neither are my concerns anymore... Die." He whispered, stepping back.
Ooc: Most likely could if you only have one character... Just need to wait for him to be accepted. Quarrak walked through the darkness, invisible. Not even shades could see him, for he was magically invisible. He smirked. The soft clack of the Staff in his right hand echoed about the forest. The Desp'Ana smirked. "Come find me, my shade-brother. I know how well you would love to rip my beating heart out," He whispered, magically transcending towards the vampires, the elementalist, and the drow-shade.
"Don't use magic, you damned things." Vallyn spoke, feeling an awry cackling of magic in the air. "Magic attracts magic."
Ooc: Stubborn that he is :P Thanks Tetsuya wandered into their conversation, listening. He had the same conclusion. Blade must be Seth. The tattoo, the altering mood swings related. It made sense to him. But he shook his head. He stopped not far from them, listening.
Hawk jumped up abruptly, dancing atop tables, as drunk as the local bum! He begins to sing a tune, his ale-filled breath stinking the bar. "Alash, me booty ish lost, ash are me crew! Drink thish pint of rum with me, ahoy!" He sang, dancing about, swinging his pint of ale and his scimitar. His hat topple forward as he swang, feeling unlucky. All the while, he was listening to the other pirates, listening to their conversations. He continued to play the drunk, falling over his own feet!
Ooc: Recap, please ^^
Sessamaru crept through the darkness silently, with Kretze in tow, his shining green eyes lighting the way. The green-eyed albino's snow white mane danced about behind him like fire, even when the wind did not come and when he was just walking gently, causing no air current to arise. "The Heart... So close, and yet too far..."
The vines flew around him instead, for he muttered a simple warding rune. He stared through the darkness as he walked towards them. Hands on swords, the drow-shade walked, shaking his head. "Vampires..." Vallyn whispered.
Vallyn watched them from the distance, invisible in the shadows. He watched, waiting. The cowl of his cloak was pulled low over his face.
Ooc: Recap, please.
Ren was devoured by the gate, imprisoned by Shadowfell. The gate closed and Vallyn turned away, walking back into the dying dusk.
A smile spread across Vallyn's face. He began to chant something under his breath, a dark vortex, the Shadow Plane's gate appeared above Ren. The frozen Ren began to float upwards, towards the gate.
Vallyn put on the leather torso and gloves, walking over to the light, where he saw Blade and Ren. As the light touches his shadowarm, the arm begins to fade. He cursed under his breath as he backs out, placing binding charms (bracelet and a metal arm band). He reentered the light, this time drawing two blades. He whistles to Ren like he was a mere dog.
A smirk found its way across his face. "If you were like your father, you would've accepted the blow. You may be his mirror image, but you, too, are his resolution. You're to be something better..." He echoed the words "something better..." to himself, remembering his fatherly mentor. The orphaned drow-shade shook his head. "Matron Mother..." He whispered, remembering his rage against her. She accepted the danger that Quarrak set up for her... Quarrak knew she would die through Vallyn's anger! The recognition shook him. "A puppet to free a puppet, only to remain a puppet to the now free maestro..." He rose up, stripping himself of his useless leather armour, only wearing the leggings, boots, and cloak. "Find me a black leather torso and two black leather gloves." He ordered Blake.
"Fool," he muttered again, swinging a misty, shadow-swirled backhand, the hand as solid as it once were, at Blake.
