It wasn't an assumption about a bunch of people. If I had assumed the entire group was like that then I wouldn't have made the clarifying post, which explained how often I do this when conversing. I was referring to the public image that has been created by the portion of the group of which I was referring. As Hatok mentioned, only someone who was overly sensitive would've taken offense to the remark. I don't assume that every right wing conservative gives a damn about sexual orientation but I believe a larger majority do. I don't believe every Christian dreams to see anything different burned at the stake but I believe there are quite a few extremists out there who do. I don't believe that every human is hiding behind their beliefs to gain status or power but I believe a lot of them do. There are exceptions to every rule and thus why should I make it a habit to clarify, to the letter, with whom it is I am referring?

You assumed that I made an assumption against every right wing conservative. To be honest I don't really care who's feelings get hurt if they can't identify themselves as a target or not. You either have a problem with homosexuals or you don't. You can either take my remark to heart or with a grain of salt, the latter of which would often be those whom I wasn't referring to. I only bothered posting the clarification to spare some feelings, and so I wouldn't receive a lot of crap from confusion.

I'm sorry it bothers you but that's just the way I do things. If it makes you feel any better I do this with every group I refer to.

    Also what @hatok said above^

Oh, you'll be fine. Just don't make any sudden movements and don't give them any reason to think you'll leave them. Yandere's are easy to control if you have the know how. Plums is too damn tsun to be paired with a yandere.

There are several different types of RAM with different types of inserts. Not every RAM card will fit in the same slot. Ordering online will suffice just make sure to be careful when installing (be weary of static friction/electricity).

If it helps you could always picture them as the fairies with razor sharp teeth that attack and consume people and creatures who wander into their woods ... though in The Great Fairy Rescue that wouldn't really work.

Honestly it's not that bad. It's common Disney works. The intended audience is for females but it's only as girly as you let it be ^^

Well, my location says Ponyville and I'm pretty sure that's not a real place ... though I've been known to blur the lines between reality and fantasy ... maybe this reality is the fantasy and the fantasy is the reality ... hmm ... OH um ... I live in Indiana. If you can track me down and drive all the way up here than I would be more than happy to be glomped by you ^^

I wouldn't say it's Winx Club girly. There isn't really that much sparkle. It's also kind of cool to hear Mae Whitman as the VA for Tinkerbell. Lucy Liu is also a VA for the character Silvermist. You should be able to tolerate it.

Depends on what your definition of girly is. If you can't stomach the first four, I'd at least recommend watching The Pirate Fairy because Cap'n Hook. I suppose the movies aren't as girly as My Little Pony but they're more girly than Peter Pan (going off the general consensus of what is and is not girly).

I figured you weren't but I wanted to clear things up for anyone who might be. I also think Hatok was talking more to Hayabusa than he was to you.

(Was gonna comment on your 'she' statement but then I was like wait ... what would a Madame do? ;) lol)

Select 'Hai' and live on with the assumption that the creatures contained within the cage were evil and would've destroyed the world if they were let out. No regrets.

Well apparently there is zero competence as far as the makers go in every single movie I've ever seen. You seem to have a firm grasp on the whole matter, maybe you should be a movie maker. I said I had an issue with movies based on books. Movies are an excellent medium for storytelling when the story they're telling isn't insulting to the book that it came from. Movies do function differently from books. Books require elevated levels of thinking while movies allow you to gather information using the minimum amount of thought process. Movies are an excellent way to wind down and relax as you don't have to do much. Books are an excellent way to stimulate the mind as you have to visualize the characters, the scenery, and everything else.

It's easy to watch a butterfly flutter through a meadow when it's onscreen but to visualize something from words alone requires a lot more effort. So I suppose movies and books both have their pros and cons, not that I've said anything that would imply movies in general are a bad thing.

Not all Christians hate homosexuality and anything that can be considered sin yet through shear determination those few extremists have given them a bad reputation. When referring to a group I'm often talking to the good or the bad. If they're not able to identify themselves as the portion of the group I am or am not talking to then I'm probably referring to them. In this case I was referring to the portion of right wing conservatives who are moronic homophobes who think homosexuality is contagious.

(I don't have a lot of faith in religion or politics and it will often show in the way I talk. I don't mean any offense to the good samaritans of these groups though I mean as much offense as possible to the idiotic extremists. I'm sorry to anyone who has these travesties lumped into the same group as them.)

You'd be right if it wasn't for the fact that movies based on books often do not do them justice. Original movies are fine as they're not watering down what was originally a great story. The Twilight movies, save for the last few, were awful but I read some of the first book and found that while I was turned away from the movie I was pulled towards the book(s). It's not about superiority, it's about turning something great into something good.

There was no Pirate Fairy when I was four either, which is cool because I probably wouldn't have watched it. We also didn't have all these video games, mp3 players, and all the fancy learning toys. The world is constantly evolving, as is entertainment. Your sister shouldn't be mad about not having a Pirate Fairy when she was four (honestly your memory retention for movies aren't that great at four anyway), she should be ecstatic to have one now (at a period at which she can retain and enjoy the movie a whole lot more).

PS The Pirate Fairy has already been released. The next Fairies movie is set to release in Spring of 2015 and is titled "Legend of the NeverBeast". The trailer looks interesting.

I don't know, if it bothers you that much start a petition or something. Half the shows I watch aren't even based on books. I haven't watched the hunger games yet because I bought the first book and haven't had the time to read it yet. I understand what you mean, most people who have the time don't bother. I'm just not able to sit down and read one of the many many books available.

I'd never tell someone to watch the movie if I saw them reading the book. That's highly idiotic. You get more out of the book and if I see you have the time to read it then why in the name of sanity would I tell you to watch a summary? I've read the first two books in the Inkheart trilogy (need to finish that one) and the movie, while it was pretty cool, did not do the book justice. The mind is the greatest theater and books are the tickets. I couldn't help but notice every single little detail in the movie that was different from how I'd imagined it in the book, and it was kind of a buzzkill.

I don't really care either way what other people do. Most people are idiotic anyway so just let them watch their moving pictures and be happy. Hopefully I'll find the time to start reading again but between university and the spastic life I live I doubt it will be any time soon.

I liked it. The animation was good and the choreography was entertaining. The only way you'll know if you like it is to try it. I've heard hate towards the show and I've heard love. I like it because it met most of the criteria required for me to be intrigued by a show. I'm not saying the story was great, or original, but all in all it was a good watch.

EDIT: Just saw that thread about how it supposedly turns you gay and whatnot ... *sigh* I hate people and love the movie even more now. Thanks all you right wing conservatives.

I also hadn't thought about "Let it go" like that but now that I do it's going on my top ten songs for 2014. So many things to say about this ... but I won't.

    You've been awarded a trophy:
    Summarizing Mythology

That's basically how every mythical creature has came to be. Unicorns, pegasi, dragons, fairies, pixies, gryphons, and more. They all started as a normal creature and through time and hearsay they became creatures of lore. Then again, maybe they all existed in the past.

I'd like to believe in unicorns but I find it hard to see such magical and majestic creatures in this cold and logical world. Fairies on the other hand I believe in (please don't die fairies!!) I thought I saw a dragon once, flying above the clouds during a storm, and I still believe it was (this thing was massive). It all comes down to whether or not you actually believe in something. It's best to believe in something that doesn't exist than deny the existence of something that does. There's really no harm in believing.
