Vash sighed. "Well, it's a long story but here goes." He explained how he and Knives were born on a planet not suitable for human life, then taken on a ship on Project SEEDs, sometimes getting beaten by a man named Steve, and it led to Knives crashing the fleet on a desert planet. He went on explaining that Knives had built two guns to wipe out humanity and that Vash ran off with both guns after shooting Knives in the leg. Going on, he mentioned being rescued by people from a ship that had not quite crashed, and years later to find a relative of his surrogate mother's was killed by Knives, who forced Vash to blow up the city of July. He then explained his encounter with the insurance girls when being chased by bandits, and they would eventually realize who he was. He explained how he met Wolfwood in the desert and eventually encountering each other again, including fighting each other in the final round of a quick-draw tournament. He explained how he met Legato and encountered the Gung-Ho Guns, leading to Wolfwood's death and Vash's first kill as he shot Legato in the head. He then explained his final battle with Knives and that people were making a choice to remove the large bounty from his head when he was sucked in by the wormhole. The robed man replied. "There is a being that threatens every last universe, and that yours will be affected. The 'belt', as we named it, has made its first move and we need help."
Wow. I have to write a backstory for Vash so it will be explained to Ganta.

well, you are right, it is NOT the darkness. after the War Saga, the identity of the threat will be revealed.
all i mentioned so far, was that it was an encroaching universe.
