Smiling at having made the shot(Yeah, I just killed man, woot woot!), he soon realized that something was wrong. The shard wasn't going in as much as it was. It felt like something was blocking it from going any deeper. Not only that, but this person didn't seem to be reacting to it, as if he didn't notice...Or he didn't feel the pain. Oh great. A tough skeleton with no pain sensors and a giant boned arm. Alcer loved his life. "Gehehe..you're a fool..you just saved me the trouble of finding you!" "I appreciate the compliment, but--Oh fudgesticks." Not having the time to finish his previous sentence, he leaned backward and fell in to a backflip. Now at a safe distance away, he turned to check on the other brother(lol)and the hostage. Well, the good news, he didn't see her, meaning she must of escaped or she was hiding. Bad news? His eyebrows knitted together at the sight of the other heading towards him, arms flinging out to his sides. "Okay, bye--" Yeling and waving with the shard still in hand, he turned and ran across the street, looking around for some sort of blunt weapon. Sure, sharp objects would do jack ****, but it was a much better weapon than nothing. Perhaps he could even get an eye shot. While Alcer was having fun trying to avoid getting his ass HANDED to him by the Hands of Madness, Raiden recovered from his initial shock and made it in time to get another Spectro ring to refuel his arm. Breathing deeply, glad he recovered feeling, he made his way around town to who-knows-where. That's when he heard a noise that reminded him of getting blown through a door, without the explosion. Turning towards the noise, he walked down the street and turned a corner to see... "Not the strangest thing I've witnessed." He muttered out loud, making his way towards them. Standing between them, he switched glances at the both of them. "Hey!" He called out. "I don't know what's going on here, but surely, you guys can find a better place to fight than here, right? Why fight at all, anyway?"
Hearing the footsteps come closer, increasing in sound, his grip tightened on the shard. Maybe one more...Just in case. Kneeling down, he snagged another glass shard and nearly flinched at the sudden banging of the trash can. Did he just...Lunge in to the bin? He was expecting Darius to check the bin, but he didn't expect him to just Leeroy Jenkins the whole thing. Waiting for the right moment, knees bent, he kept his eyes focused only on the can until he saw Darius rise, completely distracted. PleaseletthisworkpleaseletthisworkGERONIMOO-- Leaping forward, right arm drawn back, he slammed it down towards the neck of Darius, hoping that he'd gotten a clear shot.

As he followed, he noticed the traffic of people becoming less and less. That would be a major help, aiding him in hearing out the kidnappers footsteps(Although he'd have to seriously strain his ears). Then again, it was also a downside, being able to do the same for the hostiles. Hoping they didn't have sensitive hearing(Hahaah, nope), he kept following until he stopped. Hiding behind a corner, there was a strange silence that struck him as unusual. Something happened, but what? Did they somehow detect his presence? If they did, he was screwed, having seen how one of them chomped up someone else. Shivering at the thought now that it was up his doorstep, he contemplated whether or not to peek out again. Looking around for any sort of weapon to use, all he found was another trashcan at the edge of the corner a few meters away, a few random shards of glass barely the size of his hand, and a penny. Lucky him. Taking the penny, he tossed it up and caught it, repeating this as he looked around once more. A plan formulating in his mind, he took a glass shard with his other hand and looked at the trash can, then back at the penny. Praying that he'd manage to get a good shot, he threw the penny as high as he could. Landing in the trash with a clearly audible CLANG, he smiled. From their point of view, it shouldn't of looked like it'd come from his direction(If they could even see the blurred speeding small object). Hopefully, one of them would come by and he'd be able to get a nice stab in their back. If not...Well, his Spirox gene would save him, but most likely not from the pain. It'd be a battle of mind over body if it had to come to that.

During Alcer's small trek around town, he'd caught a bunch of rather interesting sights. If this was the daily happenings of Oda city, then he'd be having a lot of fun living here. That's when he realized. Of all the things he planned against, he'd forgotten an important fact: He was homeless. Frozen in his tracks, an inescapable groan of irritation left his lips before he slapped a hand to his head. "Oh, dear GOD...." Irony at it's best; Looking for a new home, finding it, and not really having one. Maybe he could ask someone to take him in...That could work, right? His thoughts were steered adrift when his eyes caught something strange in the corner. Turning to look, what he saw made his legs go on auto pilot and run for cover behind a trash can. "What---The HELL---" Having never seen something so horrible in his life(Not counting anything seen on TV), he peeked out and there was what seemed to be a Spyrox-gene person eating another. Well, one person was chowing down and another would be chowing up soon. Then, what came next was a bit of a blur for him--Someone approached, got caught, and now was being led away. Alcer did the sensible thing for anyone to do, and it had nothing to do with running away screaming. He knew himself that stealth wasn't his 'best' field, so he tested the trash can to see if he could carry it around. Attempting to drag it around, his hopes were crushed with the hilariously obvious noises he'd be making as he stalked the brothers. Abandoning the trash can, he waited until the three were just nearly out of sight. Making his move, he hurried to a corner and hid, then looked to see if they were still in sight. Able to see just a bit of them, he hurried towards them, trying his best not to get caught. For some reason, as he snuck towards them, the thought of being an infinite bag of meat(Thanks to his regenerative qualities)amused Alcer. Just--Chomp, regenerate, chomp, regenerate. Stifling a laughter, he shook his head. "The hell am I doin'...."
What I show people when ask what's gavin screaming
Feeling life fade in to his left arm, he let out a sigh of frustration. Looks like his Spectro ring finally ran out of juice. And he didn't want to spare any reserve electricity on his arm, so unless he got a new ring, his arm wouldn't be working. Tearing the ring off of his left wrist, he tossed it in to the trashcan, and made his way out of his house. As he walked down Idenshi, he couldn't help but let his thoughts drift as his legs automatically brought him towards the ring shop. Things had been a bit quiet lately for him, then again, it wasn't that long ago since he'd came and started living his new life here. It was something he'd never admit, but he missed the old days, action ringing on his doorstep every second, albeit just slightly. Hell, slicing apart a watermelon would be great, but with the currently poor state of his financial situation , he couldn't afford it. He'd gotten fired a few days ago just for upsetting a customer because of his appearance, and while there were jobs that accepted his slight abnormality, that didn't make the job any better in terms of payment. Forced to accept, he'd been scraping it close with the bills, and even with the low-waged jobs he had, they might not be able to pay off his debts in time. Making his way downtOWNWALKINFAST--the streets in Idenshi, his mind snapped back to reality when he felt a sudden pain in his left shoulder. "Urgh--Not now..." Grunting as he fell to one knee, he clenched his teeth as pain surged from his arm to his entire body. "Looks like I'll need to pay my friend...A visit..." Placing his right hand on his forehead, the stress was nearly unbearable as he tried to make sense of the wavering double-vision he had. "This isn't going to end well--" And once again, he fell to the ground.
Username: jackdaniel0 Name: Jak "Raiden" Skyre Age: 26 Gender: M Appearance: Blonde, 5'11', brown eyes, and fit. Spectro ring is on his right wrist. In his casual wear he wears black jeans, a white T-shirt, white-red sneakers, and a black overcoat(Like Neo from the Matrix). His cyborg body in it's fullest view is easily comparable to MGR Raiden's(Although he doesn't have an eyepatch, he's got both eyes. Fake jaw, nope it's normal. High heels, uhh...take out the heels, he's got clawed boots. Pretty much everything else, he has it.) His scabbard is able to be hidden in his overcoat, and can surprisingly cling close to his back. If you looked close enough, though, you'd probably think something was up. Power: Electrokinesis Abilities: Raiden has reserves, finite pools of electricty(Unrelated to cyborg body, they just need power if he's even going to hope to get in a fight). Think of it as something similar to stamina, or MGR Raiden's blade mode energy bar. When he utilizes his entire cyborg armor in battle, he has to constantly emit electricity as fuel, so his abilities will drain his reserves more than usual. But his right arm CAN be powered by Spectro rings, unfortunately his whole body doesn't have the same quality...yet(?) Electric Manipulation - By manipulating electrical fields, he can direct and control electricity as long as he sees it, or knows where it is. Electric Absorption - He can absorb electricity in to his body. While he can absorb an infinite amount, his body can only take it all IN until his reserves are full. When he reaches that point, the excess amount will be scampering around on his body as electrical sparks and shocks. Sometimes, he gets so much that he emits a whole aura of it. People in close contact with the 'aura' WILL get a nasty shockHHHHA Electric Generation - By using the energy in his reserves, he can generate electricity out of his body(Once it's out, he's all out. His reserves can increase through repeated use/training, though) Electric Replenishment - He can use absorbed electricity to replenish his reserves. Superhuman-like Qualities - By using his reserves, he can tax his muscles to push beyond their physical limit for a few bursts of amazing feats. This works well with his reinforced cyborg body. Weapons: Sword. Refit to be compatible with electricity, so now he's got a thunder-sword! Whoosh swoosh. Strengths: A bit mellow, albeit he's got a sense of humor. Certain things, he can easily move on from. Say, you pelt him with a book. Hour later, he'd be all "Nah, it's fine*******." And his assassin years melded a special spot in to his brain, so he's good with stealth, a multitude of weapons, and strategizing. Weaknesses: Anything that can knock him back to his memories of killing can easily daze him, example being the sight of blood. That's one thing he might not be moving on from for a while. And he can, at times, have a hard time understanding things(Mostly teenager-relatedWhippersnappersthesedaysis2g) Starting Area: Idenshi Bio: Having grown a rather usual life, it was when he was approached by an agent for the offer of taking a job as an assassin that things went weird. Having at the time a strange obsession for blood, he happily obliged. He gained a new name, Raiden. However, on work as an assassin, he slowly grew a distaste to the killing, and thus quit his job. His company reacted surprisingly calm, allowing his leave, however their enemies weren't letting him go that easily. Hearing of the news, they took their chance and bombed Raiden in his house. His accomplices managed to put him in a hospital, and they fitted a cyborg suit on what was left of him; Basically, his head, part of his torso, left arm and both legs. In their rush to save him with the most advanced tech they had on hand, though, they realized that they had forgotten an energy source. Then, Raiden's powers pushed through, and they were surprised to see his Spirox gene at work, working perfectly well with the body. As time went on, his body received numerous upgrades. When he wasn't in a tiring experience, he wouldn't have to use his electricity to power the suit; It would function well on his own. In battle, though, that's when he'd have to utilize all of that energy. Arriving at Oda city, he found an old mechanic friend that helped his situation as best as he could. Adapting his right arm to Spectro energy, he thanked his friend and continued his life in the city. Other: and here we have a rip-off of Raiden from MGS
"Holy God that took too long." Truthfully, it did. Scaling along the wall for nearly ten minutes, Alcatraz had finally found the gate...Guarded by guards. Armed guards, of course. Perhaps they were friendly--Maybe they'd let him in without questioning. Surely, people with the Spirox gene could just easily go in-and-out of the walls, right? Even if they were completely new. Evidently, not. The guards immediately raised his weapons at him the moment they spotted him. Raising his arms up on instinct, he yelled out, "Whoa, whoa! I'm friendly, c'mon, dudes! Sirs!" One guard asked what his business in the city was. "Well--" He looked behind him once more, and turned back towards the guards. "I'm a Spiroxian or what ever you call people with the Spirox gene. I came here because...Well, my old life wasn't going to just let that fact slide when I found out. So I came here, where Spiroxians can...Be themselves without getting murdered out of no where." When another guard asked for some sort of identification, he couldn't help but sigh. Reaching in to his pocket, he pulled out a torn piece of newspaper. "This good enough?" The newspaper showed him fighting against the robbers he had faced some time ago. Once the guards asserted that he was not a threat(To the city, atleast), they let him in, the gate rising. Told that he was in Idenshi, the part of the city with mostly 'Spiroxians', he eagerly walked through, excitement shown in his pace. Looking around, he smiled. "Yep...Hello, new home."
What ever pain he felt on his trek to the city, the fact that it would all be worth it was the motivation he had in mind. Looking back every now and then, paranoia fueling his altering pace, he saw something in the distance and realized that it was a wall. A giant wall. Grinning wildly, he jumped and cheered until he was sure he'd had wasted all his remaining energy. Well, didn't matter now. Oda City was just a distance away, and it was then that Alcatraz could finally spend his new life. Pushing the past, memories of his old friends and family behind him, he dwelled on possible new friends that he could meet. Perhaps they could even have Spirox genes...Who knows? The curiosity of it was eating him from the inside, and he wasn't going to have an easy time trying to contain his excitement as he made his way to the walls. It didn't take long at all. The entirety of the wall wasn't even visible in his height. It really was that big...There's one rumor confirmed. So what of the others? All he had to do was go inside and find out! ...That would mean finding the entrance. "Ah, crap."
Would a power very similar to the concept of Ki from DBZ be considered spiritual/aura related? Username: jackdaniel0 Name: Alcatraz "Alcer" Gryffon Age: 15 Gender: Mama Appearance: Height is 5'7', spiky hair, cyan eyes, black coat and red t-shirt, dark-blue jeans and black-white shoes. Power: Advanced cell generation Abilities: IMPORTANT: His abilities activate ONLY when he loses blood. It can be any amount, hell, a pin prick is enough to trigger his power. The cycle 'resets' when he's finished using all his abilities, so as long as he's using one(unconscious or not), he has access to all of them. He can also amplify any abilities effect simply by focusing on it when it's being used. -Healing Factor: His wounds heal much faster than a regular human. Bigger it is, more time it takes to heal -Regeneration: Able to regenerate any lost limbs. Time it takes depends on the size of the lost part -Countering Blood loss: When he loses blood, he can easily regenerate his blood cells, so it's not until losing up to two limbs where blood loss can really affect him. -Makeshift Weapons: He's able to create weapons by generating cells in to the shape of a weapon(e.g. Boneknife, nailsword, etc.). This is his ONLY ability where it requires his will/mind to activate, since this is not an automatic process his body does. They will dissolve if he allows them to, although he can cut them off and they can stay solid for up to an hour. Oh by the way, did I mention he didn't know he can do this? -TitanLOLOLGiant: This will only happen if he draws a certain amount of blood. This can also happen without him intending to. His cells regenerate at an insane rate to heal a wound, which can eventually grow over a limb to make it giant. Sometimes, his whole body transforms, able to reach up to 10 feet. Although he gets a power boost, he can lose his mind in the process, which can lead to him attacking everything he sees, including allies. Another bad thing is that when he's done using this ability, his whole power can slow down. The time it takes for it to return to normal depends on how much time he used this ability. Weapons: Uhhhh....His makeshift ones? Strengths: Does not give up easily, nope, not at all. He'll go far to protect his friends. And fear is an emotion he doesn't experience much. And since he grew up watching a lot of action movies, he's picked off a few moves and is fairly adept in CQC. Weaknesses: His incredible loyalty to his friends makes it easy to bait him in to a trap. Aaand his unique personality might not rub off well with other people. Starting Area: Skirtouts Bio: He didn't think he was THAT special, but it wasn't until he was involved in a hostage situation that he found out about his powers. His father, a big fan of action movies, watched them along with Alcer as he grew up. His father even taught him a few moves, but only for self defense purposes and as a past time. Then, at age 12, Alcer and his mother decided to go shopping in a store. At that time, robbers had come in and threatened everyone down to the ground. Alcer, however, had other ideas. Able to sneak up behind one robber, he knocked him out and attempted to shoot down the others. At the last moment, he was shot down and found that he was still alive. Realizing that he had the famous Spirox gene, he took down the remaining robbers, and while there were some afraid of him, others were happy and glad of his appearance. A few years passed and after finding out in a close situation with his family that the robbers were part of a gang hell-bent on hunting him down, he was forced to leave for the safety of everyone he knew. Leaving with a teary goodbye to his friends and family, he set out for the only place he knew where he could meet with others like him: Oda City. Other: Yeah, kinda like Eren Yeager/Hulk
Everything matters. Except energy, of coursehhhHHA This is a common question, but there's also a common answer that goes along the lines of Quality over Quantity(And I go along with it) That, and the fact that it really just depends on the roleplayers. Length should really matter when you're typing a response to something that's certain lines long. Say, a 3-line response to a 3-line post would be fine. A oneliner wouldn't be very good at all, even if you did manage to cram a few good details in there. And the person you're replying to might not be very happy, either. Putting detail, character emotion, action, etc. in to your response puts more than just length; It puts quality, and that's something that I feel is what shows your skills in roleplaying. That's also why some put rules about how many lines there should be; They expect quality, and there's bound to be some in the limit of lines they put. Again, it depends on the roleplayers, but does the length of a post matter? It can. Should it matter? No, it's the quality that should matter.
This is what happens when you morph those two moments from the manga and anime together
Basically, just put what you think Ramsay would say as a food critic with a song title in it. Here's a model: This food is so cold it sang 'Let it go'
Name: Enerjak Arashi Age/Grade: 15/Year 10 Gender: Male Species: Quetzals Appearance: On the left. He wears a black coat with red t-shirt inside, black karate pants with a yellow...Uhh, whatchamacall it, err...The tied thingy. And he has blue white-bottom boots. Draconian Form: On the right, he grows horns, has demon-like wings, and(it does't show it)has sharp fangs and claws. Personality: Fun-lover, not easy nor very hard to upset him, and he's got a strong sense of will. And he tries to be as nice as he can around others, hoping to get a good laugh out of them.
