Simon put the phone back on the receiver as the call ended. He sighed as the realization of what was about to begin started to settle in. "Well...Here goes nothing." Simon proceeded to his basement, where among the storage boxes sat a large white container with a digital combination lock on the front. He inputted the combination, "0723", which allowed him to pull the heavy door open. Upon doing so, white steam flowed out from the inside of the container, along with a gust of cold air, signifying that this container was in fact a kind of refrigeration container. Inside, there was nothing but a single jar. Inside the jar was a clear liquid, and floating in said liquid was a single eyeball. The eyeball's pupil was not ordinary, however, as it had an odd design. Simon took the jar from the large container and closed it's door. Wasting no time, Simon ran back upstairs to his bedroom, where he had already prepared the circle. Quickly removing the eyeball from the jar, he placed it in the center of the circle before stepping into said circle himself, being careful not to step on the eyeball. "I hereby propose thou shalt come under my command, and thy sword shall control my fate. Abiding by the summons of The Holy Grail. If thou dost accede to this will and reason, answer me." Simon chanted as the circle began to glow below him. He felt a dark, burning sensation go through his body as the circle grew brighter. A symbol began to form on the back of Simon's hand with a blinding light. Finally, the light faded. Simon looked at the back of his hand to see his command seal, which resembled the design on the eyeball he used for the summon, but with extra black markings. "Are you supposed to be my Master?" asked an unfamiliar voice. Spoiler: BGM Spoiler: Simon's Servant Simon took his eyes off of his command seal to look at the source of his voice, which was a young man dressed in grey clothing. He had a cold, cynical look in his eyes. "Y-Yes, I am." The Servant looked down at Simon, as he was taller, as if he were examining him. "You're weak. I was expecting my Master to be strong. Strong like him." "H-Him?" Assassin stayed quiet for a moment. "Tell me. Why are you after the Holy Grail?" Simon gulped. "I-I want to rid the world of the senseless fighting that's polluting it." A smirk began to grow on the Assassin's face. A smirk that quickly grew into a full-on laugh at how ridiculous he found Simon's wish. "You really think that's a wish worthy of the Holy Grail? That's a childish wish. Why would you use the Grail on something like that?" "Because it's that senseless violence that got made my parents hurt each other! It's why they died! How would you understand the pain of losing both of your parents, huh!?" Assassin's cocky smile quickly turned to anger. "How dare you. I know that pain more than you would ever know! How would YOU understand the pain of watching your entire clan be slaughtered in front of you by your own brother!?" Simon's eyes widened...His pain seemed so minuscule compared to his Servant's. "I spent years of my life plotting revenge against my own brother. I succeeded in killing him, only to find out that he was forced to eliminate our clan. There is no pain greater than that." There was silence for a moment, before Simon spoke up. "Then that's why we need to work together." Assassin looked confused at this point. "Excuse me?" "Regardless of who's wish gets granted, we both know that our wishes can ease the pain in our lives. Am I right in saying that you would wish for your clan to be restored?" "...Yes." "Good. Then how about you and I work together to reach the Grail. Let's put aside our wishes for now, and focus only on getting there. Agreed?" Assassin was quiet for a moment. He really, really wanted to just kill this kid and move on, but he knew he needed a Master if he was gonna make it to the Holy Grail. "...Fine. Now let's hurry up and find the other Masters and finish them already. I don't have time to waste." Simon sighed. He knew that this Servant wasn't going to be an easy one to get along with. "Right...Let's go." Simon led his Servant to the front door of the house. "Before we leave, I should inform you of something. I am Sasuke Uchiha. I am of the Assassin class. You will refer to me only as my class title, understood?" "Understood. My name is Simon, by the way." "Right. Let's go." Assassin said as he exited the house. Simon followed, somewhat scared of the trials ahead.

"Don't you die on me! I saved your butt from the Baron back in Haven the first time around, I can't do it again!" "Move! Let me examine him." The Medic said as he knelt down and lightly pushed Daxter to the side, allowing him to look at Jak. He looked closely at Jak's unconscious body. He lightly tapped Jak's chest with the dull end of his Bonesaw. He lifted Jak's limp arm for a moment before letting it drop back to the ground. He flicked Jak in the forhead. Nothing. "It doesn't look good..." "Can't you just use your fancy healin' gun on him?" "I don't know...I have never used it on a non-team member..." The Medic stood up and readied his Medigun and aimed it at Jak. He squeezed the trigger, causing a blue stream of energy to exit the barrel and enter Jak's body. The Medic examined the readings on his Medigun. "His life signs are faint...But improving. He will need a few minutes before he becomes conscious again." Daxter gave a sigh of relief. "Thank the Precursors...I was afraid I'd have to ride on Torn's shoulder." Ratchet approached Vert and Verde, having put away any weapons he had. "So what's the plan? You guys seem to know this place pretty well." "We will be happy to assist you in your current endeavor." Clank added, leaning around Ratchet's back so he could see the girls. ~Temporal Tower~ While Viral sat by Thymilph's side, Kabuto waited patiently for someone to arrive. "You look as if you are waiting for someone, Kabuto. Preparing another reanimation, are you?" Said the voice of the masked man as he materialized by Kabuto's side. "As a matter of fact, I am. The child I sent to retrieve the necessary components should be returning at any moment." Kabuto looked up at the masked man from under his hood. "By the way, you've never given me a name to call you." The masked man's Sharingan eye glowed from behind his mask. "I have several names. You may call me..." Besides, what she wants won't be that much of a burden. But first..."Kabuto set up the ritual for the Reanimation Jutsu, a sacrifice already in place.After getting one of his snakes to scrape off some of the corpse's skin, Kabuto began."Edo Tensei!" Kabuto said, clapping his hands together.The sacrifice was then covered in ash, as were all the others, before changing form.The ash fell from the body, revealing the reanimated form.Kabuto looked at the body closely."Who is this?""His name is Orochi. Not to be confused with Lord Orochimaru. I know little of who he was in life, but if he shares a similar name to my Lord, then he must be worth something."A coffin then formed around Orochi's body, sealing itself with a lid before lowering into the ground."You seem to be building quite the force, Kabuto.""This is only the beginning. Once the enemy forces converge here, all of my creations will be set loose to destroy them. I see myself as a mixture of Expert and Specialist. When I'm not gaming, most of my free time goes to reading about upcoming games or different happenings within the industry. E3 is like freakin' Christmas in June to me. I'm the type who could go on for hours talking about video games, what's new with them, specific games that interest me, etc. I'm also a specialist in that I know that my absolute favorite genre of video game is Fighting, no question. I used to play MvC3 like crazy, and still do to an extent. I've also played MvC2 (holy hell I sucked at that), Soul Calibur V, Street Fighter IV and it's expansions, Street Fighter x Tekken, and probably a whole lot more that I'm forgetting. Recently I've become very, very interested in Skullgirls and plan to give that a shot soon (bet you'll never guess who I plan to use lol). While I do tend to stick mainly to fighters, I like to play games of other genres from time to time. Platformers more than anything else.
