~Hot Spring; The Rock of Character Development~​

​

Genome accepted Noriko's extended hand, pulling himself up.​

"Let's go enjoy the hot spring properly."
"Yeah."
"It'd be a waste to come here and not get wet, right?"
"Yeah, that'd be a huge waste-"
Genome stopped as some...Questionable thoughts entered him mind.
Quickly dismissing any dirty thoughts that entered his mind, Genome cleared his throat.
"Let's go, Guame."
Genome then went to change into his swimwear, which was a light-blue pair of shorts with a black spiral on the backside.
Guame also had his own little orange pair of shorts, complete with a tiny black spiral on the back.
Entering a bath that both he and Noriko could sit in together, Genome sat in the water, the warmth relaxing his body.
Guame floated around the bath on his back, falling asleep nearly instantly.
"Aahhh, now this is much better."

~Hot Spring; Men's Group Section~​

​

"...and then I say 'How's a bout I scrap YOUR FACE!'. Then I punched him in the face with my robot."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"What?"
"So you punched a guy in the face with your robot because...He called you Jim?" Ryoma asked.
"Of course! Nobody screws up my name and leaves with their face intact!"
Ryoma and Rossiu, who sat on the left and right sides on Jin respectively, both scooted away from him after hearing about his face-punching incident.
"Aaaaanyway, where's Hayato? He needs a good break too."
"Probably off looking for somebody else's professor to kill, like he did ours. Back-stabbing bastard."
"Cool it, Ryoma. You're supposed to be relaxing."
"Right..."
Meanwhile, Rossiu's eyes couldn't help but be locked on Mina, who-due to her "manly spirit"- was standing in the men's bath, completely exposed, without a care in the world.
As much as he wanted to look away, Rossiu's gaze kept going back to her, his face growing redder after every moment.
"Just don't look, Rossiu...Just remember what you learned back home...Brothers before Potential Mothers."
Raising an eyebrow, Jin scooted to Rossiu.
"Somethin' the matter?" He asked before looking in the same direction as Rossiu.
Taking notice of the curvy female Kamina, Jin's expression seemed as normal as ever, as if he was unshaken by the sight.
That is, until blood began to run down his face from his nose.
"I can see why you might've been a bit shaken, Rossiu. But you gotta realize, what she's got over there is just a part of life, just like what you got is. Am I making sense?" He asked, trying ever so hard to ignore the beautiful woman standing on the other end of the bath, but failing every few seconds as his pupils took quick looks at her "parts of life".
Jin's question went unanswered, as he looked at Rossiu only to see his eyes more locked on Mina than they were before, complete with small hearts replacing his pupils.
"...Guess not."
Just then, Jonby entered the spring, hopping his little Kirby-y self into the bath.
"Sup." he said as he floated around in the water.
Jin looked around a bit, as if to look for something.
"Somethin' wrong?"
"Isn't there usually another little guy with you? I'm sure there were two of you when me and Rossiu found you."
"What're you talking about, Arin's right here-"
Jonby then noticed the friend he spoke of was in fact not there.
"A-Arin? Arin where you at? AAAAARIIIIIN!"

~A short distance away from the Hot Spring~​

​

"MMM! MMMMMMMM!" mumbled Egopoppy as he was being carried by Zone-tan's tentacles, his mouth covered by one of them.​

"Oh, quit your whining. You should be grateful I took you out of all the other guys at the spring. I have a thing for artists, y'know~"
"...mmmmmmm?"
"That's what I said, isn't it? Now be a good boy and I won't have to throw you in Lemmy's cage when we get back."
Squigly looked at Ego, then back at Zone.
"Are you sure he will be okay with you constricting his mouth, Mistress Zone? He doesn't seem to have a nose..."
"Eh, he'll be fine. We'll be back home in a sec anyway." Zone said as she opened a portal leading back to the Temporal Tower, where Zone kept Egopoppy in one of the tower's many dungeons.

~Temporal Tower~​

​

Viral let out a sigh of relief when General Thymilph finally responded to him.​

He gave his General a moment to gather himself, but he was not prepared for the blackened eyes and cracked face of his once-living General Thymilph.​

"Th-This wasn't my doing, General Thymilph. A human did this. One named Kabuto. He's been using some kind of otherworldly power to resurrect the dead."​

Viral looked around the room. Kabuto and Madara were indeed gone now.​

"Sir, we need to get you out of here so we can report to the Spiral King. You'll need a new Dai-Gun now that the Humans have taken and desecrated your once-grand Dai-Gunzan."​

~Inside the Dai-Gurren~​

​

"Oh man...Do you think anyone is ever gonna find us?"​

"I don't know...I'm scared..."​

"Me too..."​

Those were the voices of a boy and a girl who had been trapped inside a small room for a long, long time.​

Just as they were expecting silence to fill the room, they heard footsteps and voices from outside the door.​

"Huh?"​

"H-Hey, doesn't that sound like Pier-"​

"Shhh!"​

"You find something, Apollo?"​

The two's eyes widened upon hearing that name.​

"...yeah."​

Just then, the door swung open, revealing to the boy and girl the forms of Apollo, Pierre and Silvia.​

"Apollo, Pierre, Silvia!" Said the boy and girl at the same time.​

Just as the two young ones inside the small room had instantly recognized Apollo, Pierre and Silvia, those three would instantly recognize the two that were trapped inside the room.​

Tsugumi Rosenmeier and Jun Lee were the two trapped inside of the room.​

"Oh, thank goodness you guys found us!"​

"Yeah, we were trapped in here by these really hairy guys in big robots...They didn't look anything like we've ever seen, though."​

"Yeah...Oh, by the way...Could you guys possibly untie us?" Tsugumi asked, pointing out the tightly-knotted rope that was holding Tsugumi and Jun together back-to-back.​

Nodding, Apollo knelt down and grabbed the rope tightly, before biting into it and ripping it off of Tsugumi and Jun with his teeth.​

"Thanks...Now, could someone tell us where we are?"
"According to it's owner, you're on board the Dai-Gurren."

"E-Excuse me, but who are you?"​

"I'm Hayato Jin. My comrades and I were recently picked up by this battleship and were brought to the hot spring outside. I didn't mean to seem like I was following you, it just seemed that your animal-like friend was on to something, so I decided to check it out myself."​

"I see. So this thing isn't crawling with hairy people anymore?"​

Hayato raised an eyebrow.​

"Hairy people? I don't know anything about that. As far as I know, the Dai-Gurren has always belonged to Kamina and the rest of Team Dai-Gurren-Actually, that's wrong. It's Zexis now."​

"Maybe that Kamina guy stole it from the hairy guys?"​

"It's a possibility...Or maybe he's the leader of the hairy guys!"​

There was silence for a moment.​

"...No. Not one member of Zexis is a 'hairy guy'...Except for those hedgehogs and a few others. The point is, whoever had this ship before doesn't have it now. Kamina, who is 100% human, owns this vessel."

"Do you think he'll let us stay on this ship with him?"​

"I'd be surprised if he didn't let you. Me and my comrades were literally grabbed and tossed into his team without a single word."​

"...Grabbed? How?"​

"With this ship's arms of course. The Dai-Gurren is equipped with it's own set of robotic arms. But that's enough explanation for now. You two should head outside and relax. After being trapped in a broom closet for as long you have, I think you need it."​

"Yeah...A break does sound nice...But I don't know if we should be separated from Apollo, Pierre and Silvia..."
"Don't worry, you'll find nothing but friends outside. When you enter the Hot Spring, find Kamina. They'll explain everything."
"...They? Is Kamina more than one person or something?"
"It's...Complicated. You'll figure it out when you see them."
"If you say so..."
"What're we waiting for, then? Let's go!" Tsugumi said with excitement as she ran off down the hallway, pulling Jun with her, failing to realize they forgot to ask how to get out of the Dai-Gurren.
Hayato cracked a small smile at the young teenagers' excitement before turning back to Apollo, Pierre and Silvia.
"If you don't mind, I'd like to ask the three of you a question. Those combining jets of yours, the ones that formed the mecha called 'Aquarion' back before we were taken here. How do they work? They look like they work in a way that's similar to the jets that my partners and I pilot, the Getter Machines. Is that what they are? Some form of Getter Machines?" Hayato asked, a tone of intense interest in his voice.

~Exiting the Ptolemaios~​

As Gendo and Yui Ikari were about to enter the Ptolemaios, another couple was exiting.​

The man, Ian Vashti, took notice of Gendo and Yui before walking up to them to greet them.​

"Hi there, I don't believe we've met. I'm Ian Vashti, and this is my wife, Linda."​

"Pleasure to meet you." Linda said with a smile.​

"And IIIIII'm Mileina~desu!"​

Exiting the Ptolemaios behind Ian and Linda was their daughter, Mileina Vashti, excited to meet the new people gathered at the Hot Spring.​

Ian and Linda turned around to look at their daughter.​

"Heheh, Yeah, that's our daughter, Mileina. She's a little...hyper."​

"Hey! I'm not hyper! I'm just...Active~desu!"​

"That you are, Mileina...Anyway, I don't think we've heard your names." Linda said as she turned back to Gendo and Yui.​

~Exiting the Ikaruga~​

Taking his first step out of the Ikaruga was Joey Jones, a young boy who had been working as a cook for the ship's crew for a while now.​

"So this is where we landed...Maybe now's a good time to take a break."​

Joey made his way to the spring, keeping the backpack he wore tight on his back. It seemed as if something very important to him was inside of it.​

Pit chuckled to himself as the girls tried to figure out how to wake up the sleepy-heads.​

"Ladies, ladies, please. I got this."​

Pit then raised both hands and snapped his fingers, causing several horns to appear in midair above those who were alseep.​

"To avoid damage to the ear drums, please apply ear plugs or index fingers into your ears now." Pit said in a sarcastic flight attendant-like voice.​

"And a-One, and a-Two, and a-One, Two, Three, Four!"​

Pit then clapped his hands together hard, causing the horns to let out a horrendously loud noise right into the ears of those who were asleep, waking them up.​

"Voilà."​

~Lastation; Noire's House~​

​

After exiting the van and recuperating from the bumpiest of rides, the rest of the group examined their surroundings.​

"Well lookie here, an actual house! I don't think I've seen one since we were swept into this planet." Qwark stated, his fists on his hips heroically.​

"I gotta admit, it is a bit of a relief to see something so...Homey. Haven sure didn't have very comfortable-looking homes." Ratchet added.​

Meanwhile, Daxter and the Medic were still working on Healing Jak, who was still not responding.​

"Give it to me straight, Doc...Is he gonna make it?"​

The Medic sighed, before shaking his head.​

Daxter's ears then drooped down, along with his head.​

"...Jak, buddy...Why did ya have to go!?"​

"Go where?" Said Jak, who had actually been conscious since before Murray tossed him into the van. Turns out he'd been napping through the whole ride in the van.​

Lazy ass.​

Daxter looked at his friend, a look of happy disbelief on his face.​

"JAK! You're alive!"​

"Yeah...I sure am." Jak said, trying to hide the nap he'd been taking.​

Standing up and stretching, Jak looked around.​

"So, where are we now? Somebody's house?"​

While on the outside Jak seemed fine, the thought of his forced Dark Jak transformation was stuck in his mind.​

"I thought I had that under control...It was just like before...I had no control at all." He thought to himself.​

Daxter climbed up to Jak's shoulder.
"Some Noire chick's house. The green lady we found in that cave back there said this place would be safe for a while." Daxter explained.
Jak nodded, still examining the area.
Daxter looked back at the Medic.
"Thanks for the help, Doc."
"Sie sind willkommen*." The Medic responded, giving a slight bow to the Ottsel.
Jak and Daxter then made their way inside Noire's house, but they seemed to have been walking in on something.
"...nearly died out there trying to rescue her because of you! So go on ahead and apologize...NOW!"
Jak was taken aback slightly as he heard the tense situation.
"O-Oh, uh...Are we...interrupting something?"

Without even taking a moment to think, Kamina answered first.​

"I know I'm in! C'mon, Simon, I can't join in without you!"​

Simon was silent for a moment.
"I...I dunno, bro..."
Simon seemed unsure for some reason.
"What's the matter, Simon? Just think about it! The fame! The babes! The money! THE BABES!"
While the thought of being mauled by hordes of girls wasn't as enticing to Simon as it was to Kamina and Andy, the thought of being able to help others with Lagann was very motivating.
"Okay...I'm in too."
A huge grin grew on Kamina's face.
"ALRIGHT! The Digging Brothers of Nintendo High is officially born!" Kamina yelled, his finger aiming skyward.
There were a few moments of awkward silence.
"Soooooo...See you tomorrow at school?" Andy asked.
"Sounds good to me."
"Same here."
And with that, the trio separated for the night. Kamina and Simon used Lagann to exit the tunnels, while Andy went back to his digging.

~Back at Simon's house..."

After saying his goodbyes to Kamina for the night and finding a place outside to park Lagann, Simon entered his house. He let out a sigh of exhaustion after the day's events.
"I met a new friend, and found my dad's last gift to me...What a day..."
As he entered the inner parts of his home, Simon noticed a woman in loose clothing laying on his couch, watching television and eating the custard-filled no-hole donuts that Simon had bought the day before, her face and upper chest covered in yellowish-white cream.
All was normal.
"Hi, Tamamo." Simon said as he took a seat on the floor next to the couch that the girl sat on, ignoring the suggestively gooey mess that covered her face.
"So how was your day?" Simon asked, despite the fact that he knew her day consisted of eating, sleeping, and the occasional bit of housework.

~Undisclosed Location~​

An odd looking man sat in his home, his hand on his gut as if he was feeling discomfort in his abdomen.​

"This feeling...Could it be?"​

"Father! Father!" Called the voice of a child.​

"What is it?"​

"I'm having that strange feeling in my pancreas that you spoke of before. Could it be what I think it is?"​

The man was silent for a moment as he thought.​

"Yes. The Spiral Relic has been unearthed by the blood-relative of the hero from years past."​

The son was also silent for a moment.​

"Is there a problem, son?"​

"Kinda...It's just that I didn't understand a single word that came out of your mouth just then."​

"Dammit, we rehearsed this! I meant that the face robot thing was dug up by the son of the guy who had it last time."​

"Ooooh, okay. So what now?"​

"We...We...Okay I didn't think we'd ever get this far, uhm..."​

"And you wonder why your mother hasn't spoken to you in years..."​

Standing before the Ice-using Servant, Assassin's Sharingan Eyes started the other Servant down as he was asked who he was.​

Assassin's special eyes had never seen the kind of power that flowed through the Ice-Servant's body, but it was evident that he was no pushover.​

"Who I am is of no importance, especially to a Servant who's in my way."​

Assassin drew his sword, aiming the sharp tip at the blue-haired Servant.​

"All you need to know is that if you're gonna stand in the way of what I'm after, then I will kill you. So what'll it be? Stand aside, or be struck down?"​

While Assassin stared down the blue-haired Servant, another Servant riding some kind of mechanical horse.​

"Dammit...They're all gathering here at once...Fine. If I have to take them all out myself, I will."​

​

-Meanwhile, with the Masters...-

Simon, having gotten far enough away from Assasin to let him fight the other Servant, stopped and turned to the opposing Master.
He was being told to call Assassin off...But could Simon really do that?
"And how do I know you're not just gonna try to kill us as soon as we back down, huh? Don't think for a second that I believe you're doing anything for anybody other than yourselves...Nobody in this world does anything for anybody else anymore! That's what I'm fighting for! I'm fighting for everyone else in the world!"
Having spouted all of that out despite his intense fear, Simon was breathing heavily.
"So there's only one thing we can do then...Right?" Simon asked to nobody in particular.
Simon looked Caleb in the eyes before removing his glasses and placing them in his left pocket.
He raised his fists up, prepared to fight bare-handed.
A moment passed, and a faint white aura surrounded Simon's body, as well as a faint white glow from his eyes.
"If I have to fight to end the fighting, then so be it."
Simon then awaited Caleb's first move.

If I had the monies for it, I'd probably have quite a few figures. But for now I'll just have to stick with my Gurren Lagann figure that's covered in sharp-as-hell drills. So much blood was shed when I first got it. ;-;

Wii Fit Trainer...wat.

I swear the characters get weirder and weirder sometimes. But that's not a bad thing, imo. More odd characters makes for a diverse roster, and diverse is good in Smash Bros.

Alright, fair enough there. Though, the Leaf Shield could possibly work like it did in Mega Man's MvC appearances, where you summoned it and it dealt damage to people who touched you, but you could also fire it at the enemy as well. That's kinda what it looks like in the trailer to me. Here, I'll name off all the moves that were shown, what they seem to do, and what buttons I think they'd fit on based on that.

First was the Mega Buster. Now, for this weapon, I can actually see it being a neutral A move. It's a move he can do while standing still, jumping, and he can do it while running, so that would make it a side-tilt A as well.
There was also a charged Buster shot. I think that will function similarly to Samus's charged shot, and be placed on neutral B.
Then we have the slide. Most likely down-A (not a smash attack, just a regular downward tilt then tap A).
Next is the Shoryuken uppercut attack, which looks like it could be his up-smash attack.
Next was the Metal Blade, which wasn't actually shown in gameplay form. Unsure of where that would fit.
Next was the Crash Bomber (The Drill Missile). I still think it would fit as his side-b move, because it has the sticky property and it explodes. Unless I'm forgetting, there hasn't been a standard A attack that had properties like that.
Next was Leaf Shield (spinning leaves), which I explained above. I think that could work on Down B. Press down-B once to activate it, then you could either let it fade or fire it off by pressing down-b again.
The Hard Knuckle (downward fist shot) looked to be his meteor smash attack, likely to be on Air Down-A.
Now, after watching the trailer again, the Flame Sword (self explanatory) and Slash Claw (move shown right after flame sword) both look like they could be Air Side-A attacks.
The Spark Shock (upward electric shock attack) looks like it could also be his up-smash attack.
I think the Super Arm is just his grab.
And finally we have the Flame Blast. Like the Metal Blade, it wasn't shown in any gameplay, just in the CG scene at the end. By the looks of it, it could be his Final Smash.

Those are just my theories.

I have a feeling that a lot of his A button moves will use his powers as well. Like the flame sword could be side-a in the air, for example. Something like the Crash Bomber (drill missile thing) would probably be a side-b move similar to Samus's missiles.

There aren't enough gifs on the internet to accurately portray how effing hyped I am for this, especially with Mega Man in it. When this game finally releases, I have a feeling I won't be doing much else for weeks. Maybe months. Possibly years.
