Hi ! Here' s hoping you won' t make a habit of writing so little ... I wear glasses :xp: Welcome and have fun !
Heya ! Noob here too ... also big FF whore ... Welcome and have fun !
He' s the only Nobody who kept a spark of humanity despite his age. I' d like to see YOU try ! ^^ I was thinking about Hades bringing Auron back from the dead.
My PS2 is getting old and I have to pay attention to the way I insert the CDs (I have to make sure that the central part of the CD really "connects" well by pushing it really hard from various angles). If you' re using your PS2 as a DVD player sometimes just stop doing so, reading DVDs really messes up PS2s for some reason.
Depends on what you' re programing exactly, calculus might end up being pretty useful.
We still don' t know anything about the Organization creation so we' re bound to see him again somehow. Plus, as Nomura stated, no one ever truly dies in Kingdom Hearts. Remember Hades ?
If you always check your health that' s fine ... I suspect (s)he doesn' t even have Once More. Anyway just plain and simple combos and shotlocks should be more than enough if you' re on the constant lookout for your health. The key advice when you suck at fighting is really "watch your health". Worst case scenario buy a bunch of Cure, they only cost 100 munnies each.
Science and Faith aren' t incompatible. My advice would be "stop trying to interpret the genesis literally so that it "fits" (hum, hum) scientific evidences and try to be on the lookout for metaphors instead, religious text are meant to be metaphors about life' s meaning and the meaning you want to give to your life". If gravity can' t be proven to you then try jumping out of the sixth floor, it' ll be fun I promise ! ^^
First : ^ what (s)he said Then, Evolution : Every life form is made of cells. Every cell contains a DNA molecule. That DNA molecule is a code which describes the life form as a whole. A program code is made of a bunch of 0 and 1, a DNA code is composed of a bunch of codons : A, C, G, T (Adenosine, Cytosine, Guanine, Thymine). When cells replicate sometimes a "bug" can occur in the process, an A will become a T or whatever. It' s called a mutation. If this happens to your reproduction cells (ovula or spermatozoid) then the mutation will be passed onto your child' s DNA (but it won' t necessarily change anything, I' ll explain why). Since it' s all random some mutation are lethal, some are inconsequential and some will lead to new traits. It happens very rarely, which is why evolution takes generations and generations (forget the X-men crap). Furthermore when we reproduce the male brings one branch of the DNA to the child while the female brings the other. The codons are organized in pairs, one comes from the father and one from the mother. An allele is a group of codons which defines a trait of the individual. They come in pairs too but only one of them is manifested into a trait. Which one ? Depends which trait we' re talking about. My blood type is O, which means both my parents are O. It' s like a card battle, O is the weakest card (it' s a recessive trait) and can only "win" if the other allele of the pair means O too. Those "card battles" are the reason a mutation will not necessarily manifest itself as a new trait. Am I making any sense ? It' s even more complex than that but I' ll leave it there. All of this is proven solid fact. To summarize evolution is random. In the eyes of a scientist we don' t have eyes in order to see, we can see since we got eyes somehow. Of course people who have faith don' t believe anything is random, and even some scientists are beginning to wonder if all of those bug are really that "random", it seems like a convenient way to say "we don' t know". That' s what they are researching about now, they don' t think it' s God' s will manifesting, they think there' s a deeper biological mechanism involved. Furthermore we still don' t know how the very first cells appeared on earth, we only have theories. We know how the basic elements needed to form a cell got here, but we don' t know how they ended up assembling into a cell somehow. I guess a believer can see God's will there.
It won' t stop him but it will hurt a lot, it' s auto-aimed. Mega Flare is auto-aimed too (and always useful to have, especially for grinding). That way you can concentrate on healing.
Since you play on normal you' re already leveled enough. Your Commands suck though. Try to make some Megaflare or Time Splicer. Megaflare = Fission Firaga + Crawling Fire Crawling Fire = Firaga + Slow or Stop or Stopga (80% chance of melting success) Time Splicer = Aerial Slam + Stopga (100%) or Stopga + Barrier (20 %) or Barrier Surge + Wishing Edge (10%) or Stun Edge + Slot Edge (10%) Don' t forget to use your shotlock when you can, it can really help (it' s way better than summoning).
I don' t remember, but maybe you should specify which difficulty level you chose.
I was afraid you' d say that. ^^ I think the words "bigger plan" are a hint that they allready had something in mind, something linked to their later scheme inside the organization. I can' t prove you wrong though, even if I highly doubt that Dylan and Aeleus would leave their post for anything other than unversed. As you said it IS an important castle.
If you just wanna stick to what they were doing in BBS I' d say they wanted to apply for some kind of job. When Lea starts to talk with Ven Isa tells him that they don' t have time for this, which would suggest some kind of appointment. If all the founding members of the organization volunteered into becoming nobodies that means they were all involved in Terranort/Ansem experiments before that. Lea' s in-game report mentions that he and Isa have bigger plans. I wouldn' t describe infiltrating the castle as a prank being a "bigger plan".
I went and read the secret reports again. Spoiler Xaldin says that they all became nobodies in order "to avoid the shackles of emotion" but that it somehow backfired on them since some things just cannot be done when you' re deprived of emotions. Saix also says : "Our plans never accounted for the possibility of both Xion and Roxas leaving. How did this come to pass? When did Roxas grow strong enough to outmuscle me? What were you really after, Lea? We joined the Organization at the same time, and formulated our plan. At this point, it's just and idle fantasy. Everything changed. You, and me." Saix didn' t need Roxas to search Castle Oblivion, he needed him to build Kingdom Hearts. I found nothing about Saix searching something in Castle Oblivon. Was that suggested in-game ?
If their goal was to beat the crap out of Terranort they would have done so BEFORE he turns himself into a nobody. Saix was Xemnas doggie, he seemed more obsessed about Kingdom Hearts than anything else. I don' t know what their ultimate goal was but I doubt it was something as simple as that. Tearing the organization apart seemed to be a mean, not an end.
Well I can' t crap an answer that hasn' t been given yet ! ^^ If KH3D really takes place between BBS and KH1 maybe we' ll find out what they were up to.
I' m eager to see that movie for one reason : Joss Whedon will write and direct it and I' m a huge Buffy fan. I expect a funny movie ! ^^ Here' s what he said about it at a comicon panel : Moderator: Joss, superhero comics, comic books of all stripes—very important to you. And now you are now directing probably one of the most eagerly anticipated superhero movies ever, The Avengers. Is that true? [applause] Joss Whedon: That is not an official thing, because I think Marvel couldn’t afford, like, a press release. So could I just make that an official thing? I’m directing The Avengers! [applause] Joss Whedon: It’s just a gig, you know? [laughter] Moderator: Were The Avengers a big part of your comic book reading when you were a kid? Joss Whedon: Yeah. They were one of the first books. When George Perez was drawing them, they were on Counter Earth, it was a big deal for me, yeah. Moderator: Joss, is it too early to talk about what your take is on The Avengers? Even if you could just sum it up in a line? Joss Whedon: I have to have a take? Moderator: Yeah! It’s helpful when you are a director to have a take on it. Joss Whedon: OK. It is a little early. I am still writing an outline. I am still in that stage of reworking, reworking, reworking. I will say that the thing that I love about it, the thing that made me excited to do it was just how completely counterintuitive it is. It makes no sense. These people should not even be in the same room, let alone on the same team. And that, to me, is the very definition of family. [laughter]
Warning, big 358/2 Days spoiler ahead : Spoiler In the secret reports Axels says that all the founding members of the organisation, for some reason, volunteered into becoming nobodies. He also says that him and Saix had a plan of their own.
NES : The Legend Of Zelda 1&2 Metroid Super Mario Bross 1,2&3 They' re the only NES games that I could play and still enjoy in 2010. Snes : The Legend Of Zelda : A Link To The Past Super Metroid Yoshi' s Island Seiken Densetsu 2&3 Same reason. Super Metroid is the best Metroid ever. Yoshi' s Island is the best Mario ever. N64 : Ocarina Of Time What ? No Metroid games ? Oh well ... Paper Mario then ! ^^ Super Mario 64 Oddly I' d rather play some Nes/Snes games Gamecube : Resident Evil Rebirth/Zero/Code Veronica X/4 Baten Kaitos Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes The Legend Of Zelda : The Windwaker I especially enjoy RE Rebirth/Zero, RE are just action games since the fourth installment and I' d rather play some REAL survival horror game. Same goes for Mario and Metroid, they' re not at their best anymore. Wii : Silent Hill : Shattered Memories The Legend Of Zelda : Twilight Princess Resident Evil : The Umbrella/Darkside Chronicles I don' t like the Wii, I' m still wondering when/if Nintendo will pull their head out of their ars. Gameboy/GBColor : The Legend Of Zelda : Link' s Awakening/Oracle Of Seasons/Oracle Of Ages Metroid 2 Super Mario/Wario Land The best Zelda in the whole series remains Link' s Awakening IMO. GBAdvance : Kingdom Hearts : Chain Of Memories The Legend Of Zelda : Minish Cap Final Fantasy IV, V and VI The Final Fantasy are masterpieces. DS : Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Valkyrie Profile : Covenant Of The Plume Chrono Trigger Chrono Trigger with the added movies shines in all its glory. Sega Saturn / Dreamcast : No idea, I never owned them. Shenmue 1&2 I guess ... Playstation : Silent Hill Resident Evil 1,2&3 Chrono Cross Vagrant Story Xenogears Final Fantasy VII,VIII&IX Castelvania : Symphony Of The Night All of them are now legend. FFVII is the best FF ever. Don' t ask me to pick just three of them. Playstation 2 : Silent Hill 2,3&4 Forbidden Siren 1&2 Metal Gear Solid 2&3 Kingdom Hearts 1&2 Final Fantasy X and XII Valkyrie Profile 2 All legendary too. Playstation 3 : Siren : The Blood Curse Metal Gear Solid 4 : Guns Of The Patriots Heavy Rain So far I' d rather keep my PS2 than my PS3. I can' t wait for FFVsXIII and ICO/Shadow Of The Colossus HD. PSP : Kingdom Hearts : Birth By Sleep Final Fantasy Tactics : The War Of The Lions Valkyrie Profile FFT and VP are pure jewels. Nothing to add. XBox : I never owned one but I know that Silent Hill 2 is even better than the PS2 release thanks to the new Maria scenario. Xbox 360 : Lost Odyssey Star Ocean 4 Eternal Sonata/Trusty Bell Lost Odyssey is way better than FFXIII. Star Ocean is my least favorite Star Ocean but I don' t own a lot of 360 games.
