Death of the new gods reading scott snyder's batman and it really feels like the poor mans grant morrison or to be a little more accurate, feels like scott snyder dumbing morrison down to be more accessible for the 52 reboot like reaing through these first two trades i can point to a handful of things that morrison did before, and better imo. snyder's good but this aint no batman rip

if the purpose of a series is to be a hard challenge and the series thrives off of that reputation, how does adding an easy mode not violate the spirit of that game? i know nothing about the series but if the intent of adding an easy mode is to make it be more accessible, doesnt it seem like that's the opposite of what they were trying to go for in the first place? to appeal to the hardcore player? not everything has to be for everybody. thats just what i, a person who has never played the series and has no interest in it outside of a minor interest in bloodborne based on aesthetic alone, think on this topic i dont really care about but want to weigh in on. i can see how adding it after beating it originally, like how kh has critical mode, would be fine. the player got that rewarding experience and can now experience the world without pressure when they want to replay.
one of these days im gonna add you but not today because im right here and my 3ds is ALL THE WAY OVER THERE on that shelf i cant reach me after my cat gets up from my lap
talking with an old friend and its painfully clear he gets all of his opinions from podcasts. then he tells me his favorite batman story is hush. some say the past should stay dead. in moments like these, its hard to disagree.
ive pretty much decided that i wont be having one unlesss i can afford it.
looking for apartments and realizing how poor i really am
gerard way puts out quality work. from comics, to mcr, to his solo music, to putting grant morrison in one of his videos, taste aside, gotta say there's not much bad that you can point to. so yeah im excited for this. and im pretty ****ing sure he named a song after an obscure mister miracle supporting character that was in a single issue from like 1989. and i might brush off the facts that his song is named maya the psychic and that one of many suspicious lyrics mentions hearing voices and that the character in question is a psychic baby named maya who made people hear voices, but he cited mister miracle as his favorite jack kirby design so in my mind its all real.
give me names so i can laugh at you
seeing all these familiar heartless designs that i remember from kh, com, and ii, on my phone is a beautiful thing.
unchained is pretty sweet i love how well it captures the kh feel. it has the same click sounds, same dialogue boxes, everything that should be the same is the same. and the gameplay's pretty fun. and its really pretty to look at. overall for what it is i really like it. cool that there's a nice little free kh game on my phone.
you typed should of what you said was should've
what are you going for?
love it. love everything about it.
its more a problem the word has no meaning. it may have meant something at one point but not anymore 2006 never die
its a derogatory term that blends scream and emo based on bands like From First to Last (which is demeaning in itself, but thats another topic) which has been expanded to apply to anything that has screaming in it. so its meaning is about as solid as "emo" itself. there is a screamo genre and there is an emo genre, however these have been mostly obscured by the blurry line separating culture and music. the point of what im saying is that, in practical use, these words are essentially just "i dont understand this and i dont like it, but i dont want to understand it so im just gonna hurl this word that i imagine to apply based on very basic qualities i recognize" but i dont entirely blame them. at some point the word screamo became public knowledge and you can't exactly expect the guy or gal who only listens to The Civil Wars to have any conception of what that is. likewise, i know literally nothing about The Civil Wars and only use them as an example because my friend likes them and played them for me and they're boring as ****. so for all i know they have loose ties to like black metal or something
d. gray man not violent but has a gothic aesthetic kinda violent at times but like, not real violence abara not gothic but is hyper-violent its a short manga with not much dialogue and is pretty light on structured narrative reminds me of the way you described bloodborne sons of the devil horror comic. not gothic, not super violent but is dark the batman is currently on netflix fun dark without the art deco of btas phantom on the horizon album by the fall of troy dark tone, concept album takes place on a Spanish ship so its kinda historically what you're into eerie at times i just noticed that its become a habit of mine to add line breaks in things i type everywhere. im in a poetry class this semester. its getting to me.
i could never get into them i think its because there's no vocals and thats not something that usually bothers me but here its a real turn off for some reason
isnt there some kind of version of it on 2.8? nah man i refuse to buy the hd remixes. which sucks because 2.8 has some original content i think. o well tho. i just want 3.
can someone give me the rundown on this new kingdom hearts game thats supposedly coming out in two days? i have zero knowledge on it aside from the fact that there are like 3 versions on pc, ios and ps4? i think? and can you help me not feel bad for refusing to buy 2.8?
