They were Deist, not Christian. Also, the point of a Democracy is not to appease parts of society. It is to serve the entire society equally and fairly with no bias placed on religion, gender, race etc.

We all know how well America handled race, let's see if you can get over religion ;)

I was unfortunately hooked before then and have therefore had to put up with the mindless stupidity and bigotry.

    People should

Start posting more in the Discussion section (I REALLY wish it was still called the Intelligent Discussion section as then users would require at least rudimentary intelligence to post, but meh) as it gets boring waiting for people to attempt to counter your side of the argument. They usually lose =]

Lol This just shows how ******ed the American security system is. Although, I suppose I can't talk considering most of the government of my country consists of ex terrorists =/

Even so, the USA needs to get on the ball and start actually being a responsible nation. Rather than a pile of **** in the global spectrum.

People seem to keep missing the absolute most important point to this entire argument:

THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IS NOT AND HAS NEVER BEEN A CHRISTIAN NATION, THEREFORE ANY STATEMTENT THAT SAYS OTHERWISE IS FALSE AND THEREFORE A LIE. THE FACT THAT SUCH A STATEMENT APPEARS ON THE CURRENCY OF THE NATION JUST SHOWS HOW DEEP THE FALLICIES IN THE NATION RUN. IT IS UP TO THE SANE, INTELLIGENT AND REASONABLE PEOPLE IN THE COUNTRY TO EXACT CHANGE.
Otherwise the rest of the world will continue to see the USA as a bigoted, hypocritical and arrogant nation; fully deserving of hatred.

I've always said I don't give a toss whether or not we are having a direct effect on climate change, anything that reduces our impact on the environment and our usage of natural resources is awesome.

Also, it is climate change. Our climate is changing, rather erratically and out of our control it seems. Still doesn't mean we can't try to do something about it. At least then we can tell our descendants that we tried.

Global warming isn't just about warming, it is about extremes of weather. That means more extreme weather in both the summmer AND the winter meaning hotter and colder weather. The best term for it is climate change as that is what it effectively is.

You know, around Christmas time (both before and after) I had a large number of people come in to my work and ask where the "Slankets" were. I was like D: What the hell is a Slanket?! Luckily my colleague came to the rescue and told the customer that we had sold out hours before :>

Lol when? We've been at this for 2 years now and we haven't even reached 100,000 i.e. a tenth of the way there. It will take several more generations of KH-Viders to reach a million.
