✌ CLOTHES≛ MOOD» PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER ≛ TUNES≛ LOCATION » ROAD ≛ OOC ✌ The three hour wait for the train and the actual train ride that he used to be alone and calm himself down completely and detangle himself from the crazy mess of emotions the past three days got him into all went to waste when the series of horrifying events occurred. He even got himself back to his ever so fake chipper mood and talked with a couple students who weren't resting or busy. He found the courage to apologize also to the counselors for his odd behavior, even wanting to explain on who he was acting that way... but he didn't because that's when they all piled into the truck. Now, everyone was hurriedly getting out of it. Tucker reverted into his child-like helpless state, completely frozen from the entire scenario that mimicked certain events of his life. He went back to wide, worried eyes accompanied by shaking, nervous lip biting and quickened breathing. Being one of the people on the edge of the pick up truck, he literally stumbled out of it and hopelessly watched the other counselors act like heroes. The cherry haired teen looked at the students around him as his body shook. He noticed them wearing similar expressions to his, all worried and scared and just... messed up. ✿ OUTFIT | MUSIC | OOC ✿❤ MOOD ↝ TERRIFIED ❤✖ LOCATION ↝ ROAD✖ Elisa hopped out of the truck immediately, completely terrified. She followed after her friend Richie, making sure she never left his side. She grabbed a bit of the clothing at his side, pinching it between her fingers like it was her life line. This was all getting a little too creepy - even for a horror-loving girl like herself. Her bright blue eyes were filled with worry. The cold air was biting at her skin and she could feel herself shaking at both the cold and fear. Her legs ached from squatting at the back of the pick up truck, she felt them wobble as she stood in the crowd of students as Julius brought the truck back quickly. She tugged at her friend's clothing, taking a step closer to him, "R-richie, I'm scared..." He couldn't breathe. Why didn't he go help them? Why did he have to be such a coward? Why was he always the one who couldn't help others in situations like these? Why couldn't he breathe? He really wasn't catching his breath - and it wasn't just his internal breakdown. He bent forward and began coughing very badly. It felt so horrible. He felt like he was attempting to cough out both of his lungs at once. He could feel tears in his eyes. He looked at the other students. They were coughing too, hunched forward and coughing just as bad as he was. They couldn't have possibly all been having a breakdown. His chestnut eyes traveled to the floor that seeped with a mysterious, yellow mist. That was just weird. He reached down for the hem of his tank top and pulled it up to his nose and mouth, attempting to mask it out, like it was a handkerchief. He coughed into it several times before he pulled it away from his face and began to gather the students together. He coughed as he yelled out orders, "Everyone...! C-Come together! ...Cover your mouth and nose... please!" The bluenette looked down at her clothing, she was wearing her white bustier top and a black leather skirt - not exactly anything she coud pull up to her face to mask herself with. She began blinking really quickly. Shoot! In utter confusion and being completely terrified, she left her military style bag back in the truck. It had another set of clothing, which she planned to have used to cover her face but now she had nothing. She began coughing... very badly. She let go of Richie's clothing as she felt her knees give up. She was coughing so badly that the coughing alone caused her to shake and hunch over. Her frail, bony body probably had no strength to take it (plus, it wasn't like she ever ate much). Her bony fingers landed on the cold ground, her nails scratching at its surface. After coughing violently a couple more times, she noticed a shadow loom over her. Boat shoes stationed beside her hands on the ground as she felt a hand on her shoulder. When she looked up, she met the chestnut eyes of Tucker, who gently placed warm fabric, which turned out to be the polo he was wearing earlier, over her lips and nose. She looked into his eyes and as he told her with such a convincing tone, "Cover your mouth, it'll be okay." but she was sure they both knew they were lying. She nodded anyway. The young man helped her up to her feet and positioned her back with her friend. As he left to get others together, she kind of just clung onto Richie beside her, with her left hand clutching Tucker's polo over her mouth as she still coughed into it. As the students huddled in closer together, forming a somewhat circular group, he reached down at his tank top again and covered his mouth. He became oblivious of the fact that he was showing his decorated-with-scars skin, from his belt line, up his toned abdomen and half-way up his chest. He didn't stop coughing. He turned immediately as he noticed lights from the distance and the truck coming up. It stopped in front of their little group, Julius coming out first and carried out Noelle, lying her on the ground. He took a few steps forward, closer to Julius and standing by Noelle. His eyes traveld to Erik and Bryan for a moment before looking back at the eldest counselor. He spoke between the fabric of his clothes as he addressed the older counselor, "Wh-What's going on?"
✌ CLOTHES≛ MOOD» LET'S GTFO NOW ≛ TUNES≛ LOCATION » CANDY SHOP ≛ OOC ✌ The young counselor's eyes widened at the diagram the little girl showed her. His eyes darting from one symbol to the next. Sad faces, happy faces... what made his heart skip a beat and his breathing stop momentarily was the drawing of what looked like the forest fire and the ferry ride - all of their misfortunes. Along with two other drawings which had sad faces under them, a bloody knife and a sign that said "rest". He felt like all of his organs were being squeezed in his body - like they grew in size and wanted to burst. He was completely frozen. He looked at the happy faced drawings though, a train and some sort of car... she was trying to tell them something. She was! She knew something! Before he could pry the little girl a little further, he looked up and almost lost his balance from where he was squatting. Glenda, the girl's mother, loomed over both of them, took her hand and shot Tucker a deadly glare. He inhaled sharply, completely horrified. His gut instinct was right, something was going on. As the mother grabbed her daughter and dragged her away, he got to his feet - wanting to go after her, but it was too late and he really didn't want to engage with her mother - who really creeped him out. As he looked around at the other students, he knew he couldn't risk it. They had to get out. Now. Tucker was so scared out of his mind, it wasn't really syncing well. His thoughts were all over the place, but his eyes darted to the counter by him, noticing that the young girl had left the receipt with the drawing. His hand immediately reached for it and before he could even think he was running toward the other counselors, with the diagram laying on the palm of his hand - showing them the evidence he collected. His breathing was quick, his eyes were wide in terror and his body was shaking slightly, it felt like he was on overdrive. His voice was kept low, but it was obviously filled with complete panic. He backed up on the wall Erik was leaning on earlier, pressing his back against it. He began fumbling at his fingers again, cracking them (but no sound came from them since he did it all earlier), licking his lips and gulping nervously again. He stared at a spot on the sparkling ground. All he thought about were those horrid, horrid memories playing back at his head. Anything with sugar that was painted in bright colors was a perfect bait for victims. Victims being those who became prey of his worst nightmare. Victims being children from the age of nine to fourteen. Children being the ones who found themselves helpless, hopeless and harassed. Children being the strangers from the nearby school, or the neighborhood or even people from his own neighborhood... along with- "Hey there, what's this about?" He looked up immediately, Bryan stood before him. Turning his head to his right, he realized Erik had gone back to his side without him noticing. He immediately straightened up from the wall and moved to where he originally stood a while ago, allowing the older counselor to lean back on his wall and beginning the little meeting of theirs. "We're making a game plan, but we need Juliu--" "Yo kiddos" The eye-patched counselor appeared on cue, with his friendly greeting. Tucker gave him a small smile, but it disappeared soon after. Erik began talking again, which was good, because he didn't quite feel like talking. Plus, Erik seemed like he was such a good leader anyway - being one of the older counselors, he probably had more experience. As the man said his last words with the mention of his name, the twenty-one year old nodded. He caught the glance at him from Bryan, who frowned at him then wore a confused expression. "I don't see what's wrong with them being nice to us . . .But what do you want to do? Our train'll be here, soon, and then we'll be on our way home. It's not like we'll be stuck here, right?" "Are you serious?" he blurted out at the younger counselor, with a harsh tone and a fitting expression. It took him a second to realize how that had come out and he immediately put a hand over his mouth as if he just swore at him (which is kind of how he felt). Slowly dropping it down, as he shifted his eyes a bit to the ground before looking back at Bryan, he muttered a quick "Sorry." He wanted to yell though. He really did. He wanted to yell out everything he was about to say, but instead he took a breath before he looked at Bryan with his gentle, chestnut eyes and explained in a calm voice, "It's just that... we don't know who these guys are - and even if we did, how do we know for sure that these people who are being nice to us... what if they're not so nice after all? What if all this free stuff is just a way to lure us into somewhere? What if we're falling into their trap? Who are they anyway? For all we know, one of them could be a-" It was like he choked at the word before he could even begin to say it. He couldn't find himself to end the sentence with that word. He glanced at the other two counselors quickly before he inhaled once more and spoke again, "I mean, I'm all for thinking positive, but with all that's happening, and the honest-to-god bad feeling in my gut, we have to think about the kids... At least, like, we should go and collect everyone in a group and watch over them or just wait in the trolly or something." ✿ OUTFIT | MUSIC | OOC ✿❤ MOOD ↝ HUH?/OKAY ❤✖ LOCATION ↝ CANDY SHOP✖ "Um... What could possibly be up there? She decided not to linger on her thoughts about it as she stepped down from the stair case and found herself on the first floor. She looked up at her friend, who then took a seat on a bench and motioned for her to join him. She smiled at him slightly and sat down beside Richie. Before she could even speak, a loud noise interrupted her thoughts. Turning her head immediately, she noticed a barrel falling over with all of its candy contents spilling out beside its doer, who was actually Pierce, standing shyly beside it. She looked really worried and frazzled. The teenager was about to get up from her seat and help her out when someone beat her to it. That someone being Sophie, who then helped her up and brought her to another bench not too far off. She watched the two for a moment, their personalities kind of radiated from them. The ever so anxious and cautious Pierce beside the straight forward and blunt Sophie. She didn't really know them too well to say for sure, but that was as far as her first impressions went. It was an odd friendship to watch, but they had each other which was nice. She turned back to her own friend beside her with a smile, not really knowing what to say, something else caught her attention: a head of short, brown hair by the entrance of the candy store.Needless to say, it was Bryan, whom she began to have very odd feelings for - at least odd in her book. She never had feelings for someone in real life, but then again, she never had friends with anyone outside of the internet, yet here she was sitting beside one of her own. Joining him was the three other counselors. Judging by their expressions that she could see from where she was, they seemed a little troubled. She tapped Richie's shoulder lightly, then discreetly pointed at the group of male counselors in the distance, "I wonder what they're talking about..." Elisa whispered then pouted, she hoped everything was alright - everyone else seemed to be having a merry day.

She kind of wanted to keep them just because they looked so cute - but she just dropped them back into their pile. There must have been much cuter shapes and colors in other floors anyway. These were just circle candies in bright colors. "This place is like a sweet dream, don't you think?" She smiled brightly at her friend, "Absolutely!!" she squeaks. Then she grabbed her friend's hand and pulled him deeper into the candy shop. She noticed that a couple students had already gone up a couple floors - there must have been even more cute things in store up there! She eagerly hauled Richie with her as she made her way up the colorful stairs. "There must be a ton more up there! Look, there's even a third floor!" No one was at the third floor yet, what if there was something super-duper-incredibly cute up there?! She passed other students, like Sophie and Pierce, but she didn't mind them much. She was too excited to see everything else! She was sure they'd understand, witht he huge grin still on her face. But once they met the stairway to the third floor, her smile disappeared in shock. She let go of her friend's hand too. There was a gate blocking the path - it was totally secure, no way of going in (and probably out). She inhaled and exhaled for a second, just staring at the gate. That was so weird. Why... why was the third floor blocked off?

Tucker nodded at the other counselor, relieved that he was uncomfortable like he was (probably not close to being as anxious as he was, but pretty close nonetheless). He didn't notice that he began cracking his fingers nervously, licking his upper lip and swallowing more than usual. It just brought back a lot of bad stuff into his head. It was kind of like being in the hospital again, really, but he wasn't going to start screaming his head off like a 12 year old again. He was just so worried. Erik was right, why was this all for free? Candy was one thing but the train and the inn? Sure, maybe they were just being nice after the whole ferry nightmare - but Tucker really didn't think so since the inn keeper so rudely kicked them out. That wasn't exactly so friendly at all. "I wanted the four of us to meet up so we can try and figure something out... Maybe just the three of us then... It doesn't look like Bryan is going to be detaching himself from Noëlle any time soon." He nodded again, that seemed like a good plan. His eyes wandered off to the younger counselor as well, who was beside his sister as usual. That was nice of him to do that... wait. Where were the other kids? Tucker's heart began racing. They were off to the tower already?! Did they not feel the horror radiating from the picture-perfect-sweet place?! His eyes filled with even more worry as his breathing quickened. His hands balled into fists. Where were they? Up the floors? What if he couldn't save them? What if he couldn't save the others... like last time? His mind was kind of screaming at him. It was like his brain just went on overdrive. He squeezed his eyes really tightly, inhaling deeply. As he exhaled, he brought himself back to his conversation with Erik. Silence for a second, until he caught onto the last word of the other counselor, as he turned to face him again. "...'free candy.'" Complete with air quotes. Once more, he nodded, before finally separating his lips and speaking, "We have to work fast. Kids are already buying the candy act. Where's Julius?"

Everything was so bright and sweet and candilicious - a kid's paradise (probably into diabetes though). The walls were sparkling and colour was spashed everywhere. It was like fairyland that met Candy Mountain and the reign of unicorns in the sky. Candies were around every corner, every wall, every basket- just, everywhere! It was all in all really eye-pleasing (as far as candy stores could blind one) and happy-looking, but Tucker knew something was wrong. It wasn't just the intense odor from all the candies being combined in one place, it was just creepy. There was definitely an eerie aura around the place. Had anyone else noticed it? One, Tucker thought it all just screamed "hello-kids-get-into-my-van-i-have-candy-in-the-trunk". He was well acquainted with that so this place really made him feel uncomfortable. He closed his eyes for a moment, biting his bottom lip as he stood there. Plenty horrid memories came back to him. He tried not to show it though, to be polite to the people who brought them there. It wasn't the stranger-danger factor that bothered him so much, of course it did slightly for the safety of the kids, but he felt an air of deceit within the candy tower. Adults plus candies plus children plus that ever so familiar air of deceit was never a good chapter in his book so that really bothered him. When his chestnut eyes looked over at his fellow counselor Erik, he breathed out a small sigh of relief, it looked like he was pretty weirded out by the situation too. He swallowed nervously, as he felt his stomach do a flip with how increasingly anxious he had become. She felt sticky and icky, looking down at herself, she realized why. She had fallen asleep with her clothes still on. Groaning once more, she knew she had to rise and take a shower. She glanced at her shoulder for a moment. The bandage still wrapped around her bruise and cuts, but the ice pack - which melted into a water bag over night - lay on the bed silently. She picked at the little safety pin that tucked the bandages together and pulled it out, removing the bandages on her shoulder. The bruise still looked bad, all blue and black. She sighed, then got to her feet. Passing out almost immediately last night, she had not been able to dry anything properly. She bent down and grabbed her military bag, dropping it on the damp bed. She pulled out the set of clothes she had in there, which were still soaked wet. She groaned once more. This didn't seem like such a good morning. She scattered all her things on the floor below, letting them rest separately as they dried, but grabbed a towel, the clothes she had on and the clothes from her bag, then went to the bathroom to shower. She dumped all her clothes into the sink after undressing with the ones she had on, left water to run over it then cleaned herself up with a nice, hot shower. After feeling completely refreshed, she exited with a towel wrapped around her thin body. She turned the faucet off and began to squeeze the water out of her clothes as well as she could. After, she changed into the clothes she had on earlier, wanting to keep her other set of clothes in her room to dry off. Dressed in her incredibly damp clothes, she made her way back to her room. The clothing stuck to her skin immediately, her white bustier top becoming almost transparent and showing off the black tube bra she wore underneath and her thin body. She lay her clothes out as well before she made her way out. She stood by the hall for a moment, not really knowing what to do. She could smell breakfast, but she wasn't exactly planning to grab something to eat. However, her thirst did seem some tending to. So she made her way across the long hall way. She spotted Bryan ahead, and immediately began blushing as she realized her current state. Wet clothes, wet hair, see-through top. Her reddened cheeks were probably really obvious on her pale skin. That was delicious! He lokved home-cook meals. They were always the best. It made him forget the sadness for a moment, as he just sat there, quite unnoticed and enjoying his meal alone. He reached forward and began gulping down the cold glass of water in front of him. As he did, he glanced around. More people had come in. The other counselor, Julius was there, he gave him a small wave as he drank. Then he noticed a girl walk in after him, but what caught his eye was a certain blonde boy who took a seat not too far away. Tucker practically choked on his water, lunging forward as he coughed. Was... was that boy just wearing a towel??? He sat up, clearing his throat, as he looked at the young boy. It was Richie. Richie, again? What was it with Richie? Sure, the boy must have been incredibly nice and sweet but Tucker always seemed to have really... awkward moments with the student. Eyeing at his bare chest, he looked away immediately, flustered. He couldn't look at the kid. Wasn't it really inappropriate? At a table? It probably wasn't his place but he stood up from the table with his head hung down and approached the young boy. He glanced at him quickly, he knew exactly what he was going to say to the boy originally, something between the lines of "please get dressed" or "what happened to your clothes" but when he did look at him, he noticed how he looked a little unhappy. A pang of guilt fell on him. He really didn't like being awkward with people - especially other campers. So he looked away, scratching the back of his neck before he cleared his throat and said, "Hey uh... Richie, right? Are you alright?"
The young man opened his eyes. His eyelids felt really heavy. His body felt drained. Was it really morning already? The incredibly dim sunlight that sat on the wooden floor of his room answered his question. A sigh escaped his lips as he both of his hands reached up to brush his hair back and then rub his eyes. How long had he slept for? An hour? Two? It felt like five minutes, but he probably slept for at least 3, or more hours. Not more than four. With a grunt, he sat up on his bed, allowing the thin bed sheets to slide down his scarred chest. His head turned to the window of his room, glancing at the clothes he hung there. He slid his legs off of the bed and stood, finally. It took him a second to absorb how drained he was but he remembered everything in that second as well. The forest fire, the ferry disaster - he wasn't home. He wasn't alone. There were students out there, students he originally signed up in the camp to take care of. He couldn't just go back to sleep - not now. With that in mind, he tossed the bed sheets wrapping his waist and legs before walking to the window and grabbing his clothes. The fabric he held between his fingers were still a little damp, hanging them over night didn't seem to help but it was all he had so he slipped his shorts on, then his tank top. His polo seemed to fair better in the drying department, so he switched that from the striped tank top he wore, buttoning up the polo to hide his bare skin. Satisfied with a dryer top, he motioned out of his room and walked across the hall. He saw some familiar faces in the hall, but his grumbling stomach was too much for a small conversation. He sent them a tired smile - at least, he tried to send his usual chipper smile but his messy hair, wrinkled clothes and sleepy expression probably didn't work out well for that. He made his way down the stairs, following the scent of scrumptious breakfast food... possibly a little too eagerly. He took a sudden step back before he could bump into the older counselor, Erik. "Whoa! Hey Erik, sorry 'bout that... Morning!" his tone was very tired at first but then he remembered the chipper mask he usually wore for everyone - one that everyone knew, so he greeted with a very enthusiastic morning. Possibly before the older man could reply, he quickly added with a laugh "Well, I'm starved! So I need to go get some grub. See you around!" He sent the guy a thumbs up with a grin, then made his way into the dining hall. There were many students around. He could see his trooper Pierce with Sophie, and a couple others he didn't get the chance to know by name. He stood by the edge of the table and reached down for an apple that he bit into before he began getting some breakfast into his plate. Taking a seat, satisfied with the breakfast he got, he looked at the students with a bright smile. He had to be happy. They must have been going through hell too. "Morning everyone!"
Oh? Well hello then! It's nice to meet you!
Tucker reentered the loby of the inn, with a towel draping over his shoulders. He came from the room he requested and the bathroom before that, having showered off all the sea water from both his body and clothes separately - but with nothing to change into, he ringed his tank and shorts as much as he could before putting the clothes back onto his body. The fabrics stuck to his skin a bit, specifically his striped tank top. He decided against putting his polo over it since he wanted it to dry so he hung it on the window of the room he got from the eccentric inn keeper, Cane, before he headed out. He looked down at the towel over his shoulders, making sure it covered his chest area before he looked up at the lobby. Students were around, just lunging and most of them coming from the clinic. He pressed his lips together at the thought. He made sure that he didn't go to the clinic, insisting he was fine when others asked. His left hand grabbed the wrist of his right. It was a little swollen. It was his right hand after all that clung onto the railing when ferry when it flipped over, and carried all of his weight before crashing into the water. He was kind of surprised it wasn't broken, with braking his wrist so many times before... but really, he was surprised he hadn't broken anything. He took a step forward, wanting to check if everyone was alright. That's the reason he didn't head back into the room and be alone for a moment, even though he really wanted to. He was shaken up about everything - mostly because a lot of things just brought back familiar nightmares but he had a responsibility over these students and he wasn't going to let them down. He noticed Richie on a chair. Tucker immediately remembered their little... accident in the taxi cab. He still wasn't exactly ready to speak with the boy again, having felt completely violated back then, but he hated being awkward with the students - with anyone, really. Plus it really was an accident. He was about to go over to the boy, but the memory just kept going back to him. He couldn't take it. Perhaps it wasn't the time to go socializing after all. The young counselor closed the door behind him securely, before he grabbed the hems of his striped tank top and pulled the piece of clothing off of his head. His arms dropped to his sides for a moment, lingering on te thought of sleeping without a shirt on. He moved towards his window, catching a glimpse of his reflection on the glass. His bare chest decorated with scars from the past. His eyebrows furrowed as he looked at himself before he shook his head and hung his tank top covering the reflection. He undid the button of his shorts and pulled them off and hung it on the window as well. Quickly, he walked over to the bed and wrapped himself in the sheets. He closed his eyes, but it seemed to take forever for him to fall asleep. Elisa found herself in the clinic as soon as the car arrived in the area they were to stay in. She held her shivering bony arms as a nurse approached her. "What do you need?" The nurse's voice was really blunt and matter-of-fact. It kind of put her off, but she wanted to stay polite so she looked up with a small smile and said "I just hit my shoulder kind of badly in the wreck. I'm sure you know about it, um. Here." she said timidly, she leaned to her side to show the nurse her right shoulder. It was bruised quite badly, with tiny cuts decorating it. It wasn't anything bad and blood wasn't dripping off her shoulder or anything, but the teen kind of thought it was good to have it checked since it hurt so much. The nurse didn't really say much but went off, grabbed some bandages, medicine and an ice pack. She applied the medicine on her cuts - which STUNG. Elisa winced at the pain but stayed relatively quiet. It felt like rubbing alcohol or salt on an open wound. After, the nurse wrapped the bandage around her shoulder and then handed her the ice pack. "Keep it on the bruise." was all she said before leaving her again. Elisa blinked as she sat the for a moment, holding the bag of ice in her frail hands. That was a weird nurse. Polite, she supposed, but weird nonetheless. She shrugged it off and got to her feet as she walked into the lobby of the inn and to the receptionist, asked for a room key and after obtaining said key, she walked through the hall searching for the room number, muttering the number on the key as she walked slowly, clutching the ice pack over her bruised shoulder. She found it by the end of the hall, creepin into the room and shutting the door. She then placed her green military bag on the floor and went to bed. She made sure that she lay down on her side, so she didn't have to keep holding the ice pack. It rested between her shoulder and the comfy bed. She fell asleep only seconds later.
✿ OUTFIT | MUSIC | OOC ✿❤ MOOD ↝ FREEZING/WORRIED/SAD❤✖ LOCATION ↝ TRAIN STATION✖ Elisa glanced at everyone, shivering more than she ever had. Her teeth wouldn't stop chattering as she tightly gripped at her thin limbs. The cold was really biting at her - at her bare shoulders, exposed back barely blanketed by her blue hair, on her skinny arms and legs and the tip of her nose. They were all gathered by the train station. The time that passed felt like an eternity - but it was still so dark and the sky didn't seem to change even the slightest shade of indigo. She got really scared and worried when she couldn't see the lighter of Erik, who lead the ones who left for Lightbrooke, anymore. Luckily, Richie had approached her and she stuck with him since then. Now, she sat by him, continuing their small talk. The boy seemed pretty sad and moved about something - but she decided not to meddle into it so she just stuck to the small talk he had started with. ❝ ... They aren't back, yet.❞ The girl who spoke was right, she looked at her immediately. It was the pink haired girl from earlier when she was the Bryan on the train - well, kind of with, at least. She frowned. The team that had left were gone for so long - and people she knew were on that group: the male counselor who joined them from the hospital, Tucker, and her own cabin mate, Sebastian. She thought of them. This was horrible. What if something tragic happened to them! Not only were the two boys she knew were form there, but two other counselors as well! Two counselors that radiated leader-type. The people left in the group, were people she knew more, but other than Bryan - he was the only counselor. Plus, a lot of them who stayed were very tired and even injured. If something had happened to the group ahead, what was to happen to them? ❝ Sure thur fine, ❞ She blinked as the girl nearby spoke up, a tear drop falling from each of her eyes. She was still shaking and shivering and a wave of sadness and worry kind of filled her, but she looked up at the girl with her worried eyes as she spoke. ❝ Uhruk said he'd be back if things wur good........ Be back eventually... prolly took... wrong... turn... ❞ Well, that certainly didn't make her feel better. She was tired of trying to be nice now. She just wanted to go home! She knew she should have stayed instead of going off to camp!! The internet was a much safer place. She bit onto her lower lip, letting out a small wimper. This was just so bad. She felt another tear roll down her cheek, and she simply placed her head on her knees. She was sure Richie would have probably already noticed her crying, "R-Richie...?" she began, not really knowing what to say, but she continued with a shaky voice anyway with what bothered her mind at the moment, "Where are the others? Why aren't they back? What's going to happen to us?"
omg llave babbu congrats on the red!! sorry this is late cry it's mighty sexy and suits you very well c;
✿ OUTFIT | MUSIC | OOC ✿❤ MOOD ↝ FROZEN❤✖ LOCATION ↝ TRAIN STATION✖ The cool air embraced her body immediately, biting at her skin. Her bony fingers immediately raised up to clutch her skinny arms, rubbing them quickly in attempt to conjure some body heat. The train halted to a stop as soon as she started her conversation with Bryan and everyone got off. She followed after Noelle who entered the cabin she and Bryan were with earlier but with the rush, none of them really spoke to each other and they all just went into the cold night. Following this was angry yelling and harsh words from the people who took them in and were supposed to take care of them - well, at least, that's what she understood. This all resulted to a failure, as the train and the truck began to part ways. Her teeth began to chatter. Elisa always got too cold too easily - probably due to the lack of fat and protein in her body. She squatted down with her legs together and kept her arms close to her chest as she kind of hunched over and tried to feel the warmth of her own body. This barely helped. The air was still freezing and the clothes she wore, a leather skater skirt and the white bustier top, weren't helping at all. Her blue eyes looked up at everyone ahead, everyone was filled with worry. She couldn't make out by their faces but she knew, in fact, someone came in and pitched a small "Sean... are we gonna die?" ✌ CLOTHES≛ MOOD» RESPONSIBLE/FORCED ≛ TUNES≛ LOCATION » TRAIN STATION ≛ OOC ✌ "No one is going to die." Tucker nodded sternly, even though he was so sure that no one noticed that in the dark. No one was going to die - no. Not in his hands. No more lives were going to be lost under his responsibility - which grew on him increasingly as more and more unfortunate events seemed to pile onto their group. He looked at his fellow counselor, Erik, really glad that there was someone like him in the group. A natural leader. He began to feel guilty again, as all that seemed to happen was that Erik would be filling in for things he should be helping out with. Erik was doing so much, while he did nothing. He shook his head quickly. No. There was no time for self-pity! He was a counselor! He wasn't supposed to be some sort of anchor to the group - no, not right now! He had to be an adult to the children with him now. He had to keep them safe. He had to help them. He looked back at the people around him as Erik disappeared into the darkness for a moment, only reappearing in his vision as he saw the fire emitted by his lighter. It was either incredibly late at night or too early in the morning - all he knew was that it was very dark. He could barely see a thing. Before any thoughts about being alone in the dark, strapped to no escape reentered his thoughts the twenty-one year old squinted as he tried to make out the faces of the ones near him. He saw Quentin, Pierce, Elisa, Stratana and Richie - at least, those he could name. The rest, he recognized only by their faces. They all looked so scared - no, more like, terrified. "We can always split up into two groups and see with option would be best. You guys are old enough to make your own decisions so lets start." Elisa shivered as she heard the eye-patched counselor speak. So it was stay or go? Both were pretty much an equal gamble - but the answer came to her quicker than she thought. It was too cold for her to move on, he felt like she had been frozen by some sort of ice beam. Plus, she was never good with walking long distances since she never had enough to eat for energy consumption. She'd just weigh the group down, of course. She was scared though, which made her kind of want to just get up and leave already - but she knew she really couldn't. ❝ I'd like to stay, ❞ "I'm with the moon goddess," "Follow you, I suppose." "If it helps, I'd like to stay, too." The first came from a girl whose voice seemed quite tired and like her own, shivering slightly. The next she recognized as from the girl who was at the breakfast table earlier that morning in the inn. She couldn't make out the first male voice that she heard, coming nearby from the voice of the breakfast table girl but the next one - oh, she knew too well. It was Bryan. She inhaled sharply as he heard him mention his decision. It was lame, but that totally secured her final answer. She stood up from her squatting position, still clutching tightly to her bony arms as she said in her shaking voice, "I-I'll be staying too!" Tucker had moved forward to the other counselors, now beside Julius and Erik, "Count me in." He knew that heading out would require him using his abilities more. He knew he would be more help moving than just staying still. He would help them, one way or the other, knowing himself - but he would help them all more by being out there. He sort of predicted the ratio of people leaving and people staying to be less to more respectively which seemed true as more and more people voiced out their decision to stay. He looked back at the people who decided to stay, they still had really frightened expressions on their faces and looked pretty tired. It made him upset seeing them all like that, he pressed his lips together, before clearing his throat and stepping forward, clapping once before finally using the chipper tone people missed the past three days, "Hey, chin up campers! Tomorrow... Today... Whatever, it'll be a new day! The sun will rise, the summer heat will return and we'll all be okay! We're going to go home! So don't look so glum - this is an adventure and we're going to make it through! Keep your thoughts bright and remember that you guys have each other. So don't stray and everything will be okay! Yeah!" He grinned very brightly, still not really caring if people noticed. Tucker, however, noticed that he was kind of that counselor. He realized that when things are gloomy - it was his time to get everyone smiling. It was probably annoying and not much people would probably smile back but it was worth a shot - because Tucker knew that's what he could do and no one else. It was the one sure way he would help out. He breathed in deeply, still keeping a smile on his face. It was a mask - but that didn't matter right now. He glanced at the students' mixed reactions to his attempt of giving hope/radiating positive thoughts to them. That's when he saw the fragile girl in the crowd from the train earlier. Maria. He honestly still felt guilty, plus, once the train stopped they both just kind of hopped off of it and went their separate ways. He still hadn't really been there for her - not by his means anyway - and now, he was leaving her. Well, the girl probably didn't have a choice, but still - the feeling of responsibility didn't leave him. It was nothing romantic - even though she was beautiful - it was just... he was so tired of seeing people sad or hurt or hopeless in his hands - especially when he knew he could have done something. He walked over to her. As he got closer and began to see her more in the dark, he noticed she was shivering as she sat on the steps of the train station. He quickly removed the polo shirt over his striped top, letting it slip off his toned arms and letting the cold air bite at his bare shoulders. He didn't mind the cold but did mind that he was showing off some skin - and that the scars the rose from his sides and his chest would now probably be seen but this was no time for self-pity and it was probably too dark for anyone to see anyway. He placed the shirt gently on her shoulders, letting it wrap around her - kind of like when he offered his jacket to Pierce during scavenger hunt night. He smiled at her quickly, "Just stay put. Everything will be okay." he told her and began to make his way back to the other counselors with his cold hands in his pockets. He left immediately, not really wanting to hear from her since... well, he didn't really know. He didn't want to hear an objection to what he was doing - but he did feel much better. He finally talked to her without any horrid thoughts in his head - so what he told her finally felt real and not forced due to circumstance. He stopped by Erik and Julius again, smiling at them both before the smile would begin to disappear as dark thoughts would soon begint o haunt him again, "We should get going."
✌ CLOTHES≛ MOOD» TERRIFIED/GUILTY≛ TUNES≛ LOCATION » TRAIN CHOO CHOO ≛ OOC ✌ The twenty one year old nodded at her, pressing his lips together before turning away from her. He didn't sit up. He didn't leave. He just sat there silently. He wanted to help her out, but now that he did, he didn't exactly know how - or what to do, or anything really. Even though he already spoke, he still didn't feel like talking anymore. He felt drained. Even though he just helped her out, he felt like he wasn't doing anything. Anyone could have reached down and grabbed that for her. What made him any different? The thought didn't exactly help. He wasn't helping himself at all, actually. He just felt even more empty and scared. He could still feel himself shaking slightly. Was that helping Maria? It probably didn't. It probably made it even more awkward than it already was. But what was there to do? Like, what now? Suddenly, he felt a hand on his thigh. His body tensed up immediately as he inhaled sharply. His grip on the bottle he still had in his hands tightened. Pressure was then added on his thigh, which made him panic even more, but when he turned to Maria, who had been the one who did that, he saw her sitting up more properly with his help. If it wasn't Maria, he knew he would have just pulled the hand away and stood up immediately. If he did that though, he would probably just hurt her, so it was good he kept his cool - or at least tried to. ❝ I hope you don't mind. I just... really wanted to be upright. ❞ He cleared his throat as if to speak, but then just pressed his lips together and shook his head with a no-worries expression. He averted his eyes from her again, not really being able to look at her. The stitches on her and her tired red eyes reminded him of the guilt he felt. He placed his right hand on his knee as he sat there. He didn't lean back, obviously not being relaxed at all, but tried to keep his composure for Maria. He didn't want to trouble her further. He gripped the bottle in his hand tightly and clutched the fabric of his shorts over his knee with the other. ❝ I can take the bottle back now. ❞ His eyes turned to her quickly, then at the bottle in his hands, then back at her. He swallowed before he slipped out a small "Oh yeah" then, she took the bottle from his hand which her loosened his grip on immediately. She put it back in her pocket then added, ❝ Thank you, For carrying me, that is. ❞ He reached for the back of his head, scratching his still damp scalp. "It was nothing" he said to her. He then added a small smile after, just because it seemed polite - because, it really was nothing helping her. Nothing to her at least. It was kind of selfish actually. Tucker knew this. He helped others to give him some sort of recognition, actually no, that wasn't the right word. It was like a pat in the back. It was like his debt. He helped others to help him believe that he wasn't a horrible person - when he knew so well that that's what he was.
