Alyce shrugged. "I have absolutely no clue. And now we're stuck here until we can figure a way out of the school." she told Nami bitterly. OOC: Well, I was supposed to be gone from here like a half hour ago, and I'm gonna go before my parents throw me off. Later! ^^;
"Hey, Nami." Alyce smiled over at her. "Nothing else has happened to you, right?" she asked quietly.
Alyce smiled dryly. "You'd have to define anything because a lot of unbelievable things happened today..."
Alyce had quietly disappeared from the group, needing a break from hearing about the shadow. While she was walking, she noticed Naomi, and recognizing her, gave a small wave.
OOC: Ah, I just missed you. See you tomorrow. ^^ "Well, we tried, but the wall blocking our path didn't help much." Alyce told Clara dryly. She looked over at her and noticed her holding her arm. "What happened to your arm?"
OOC: I'm gonna disappear on you peoples for a couple minutes. Be back soon! ^^ Alyce's eyes widened in shock as a spark of lightning barely avoided her and hit Jasmine in the arm. "Are you okay?"
"Sorry, I don't. Actually, I didn't know you could think with that big head of yours...." Alyce replied. She then noticed Jasmine run out into the hallway, and by her look of shock, something major was up. "What happened?"
Alyce smirked as she stopped walking. "Come on, Sleeping Beauty. I may be smart, but I'm not psychic."
"You never told me it was your birthday...how I was I supposed to get you something?" she teased back, glad he seemed a little more cheerful.
"Some birthday, huh? Well, you get to celebrate it with a bang at least..." Alcye suddenly grinned. "That reminds me....Happy Birthday!"
Alyce was silent for a moment. He was right, she didn't really understand. "Well, you have me." she teased, trying to lighten his mood.
Alyce gripped his other hand tightly. "Don't say stuff like that." she told him sharply, but her voice still shook a little as she said it.
Alyce waved goodbye to Jasmine before turning to look over at Jake worriedly. "You know, for a second, when your bike hit the wall...I thought you crashed with it..." she admitted.
"Well, in the meantime, I guess that means we're stuck here." Alyce muttered dryly, looking down at her feet.
"Months, probably. And I'm pretty sure we don't have that kind of time." Alyce thought for a moment. "Is there any other way off school property other than the wall?"
"You said it's not level, right? Isn't there a way we could get over it?" Alyce asked thoughtfully.
"There's a way out of this dump?" Alyce asked quickly. She sighed. "In the nick of time...you know, I hate to say it, but this shadow thing's pretty dang smart."
Alyce put a hand on his shoulder. "You really liked that bike, didn't you?" She looked over at Jasmine. "Whatcha looking at?" she asked curiously, noticing that the other girl was looking intensely at the wall.
Alyce gave a dry smile. "How wonderful, eh? We're got a shadow watching us, and now it's actually trying to kill us."
Alyce gave a sigh of relief when he raised a hand up, and waited until he and Jasmine walked over to the garage towards her before asking, "What happened to your bike? Did it jam or something?"
