I'm bored so I'm dropping by again. My laptop crashed, another reason why I've been gone for so long. How's everything going? I see they added more shiny stuff while I'm gone. *looks for pony and stallion which seems to have gone lost a while ago*

You get a kids meal for basically a buck if you buy a value meal. That's the advertisement. And you bring up a good point about what the kids watch on tv now. I can't stand the Simpsons, and that's supposed to be for kids.... Mostly... I know it's getting more graphic for kids, so I kinda see you guy's point.

I saw it on quite a few channels around here. Including some that are things that kids watch. *shrugs* My reaction was: "This is for kids?! WTF?!" But now they're saying it's for adults, but they shouldn't have it on sports games and stuff, kids do watch that at all ages.

My mom saw it too, she hit the roof flipping out.

Do note: Chimps are the most aggressive primates. They will attack unprovoked and will do anything to show their aggressiveness.

They were talking about how Gorillas are compared to chimps, and how they can be the same pet. THAT is not true. I do agree primates should not be kept as pets, but gorillas are actually less hostile unless their defending their nests babies or territory.

The thing is, any animal, any... Cat, dog, chimp, even a snake... You. Cannot. Make. It. Human. Ceaser Milan, who I watch whenever I can has to dehumanize dogs all the time because they're at the top of the pack, people carry their dogs, put bows in their hair and pamper them and coo over them when they get scared to the point where they're aggressive, and then they will try to rip your face off if given the chance. You have to treat the animal like it would be in the wild, let it be that animal. If you don't, you're asking for trouble all around.

We're going to get out of it, it'll just take time. It is going to get worse before getting better, we're just too deep to have it otherwise with everything going amuck the last two decades with credit cards, loans and other things to the point where banks refuse to give out loans, which is one of the major points of any economy, is credit.

But I see it balancing out over time, it just needs more regulation and more work for it to totally smooth out.

I believe in God, but hate religion to a passion and am a strong supporter of atheism. Which has brought some interesting convo's with my mom, who believes that you need to believe in God to get the goodness from him or something like that. She doesn't go to church either, go figure.

People should believe in what they believe in, there's no black and white, there's people who are going to wherever after they die and people who are evil and good athiest or not, that doesn't mean you're going to hell or it's wrong, it's just your belief.

    Odd pains?

Have you injured that side recently? It could be hurt ribs, I did that once, but if it's right-side chest pains, it could be a problem later on, if it continues, check with the doctor.

Well, he's been banned from swimming in any events for three months and already lost a sponsor because of it, Kellogg's.

The thing is, he is a role model, so when something goes wrong, it's a huge deal with the media and everyone else, most of the time.

Also, if you're famous and want to do anything wrong...

Don't for the love of god do it in public, the guy who took the photo probably made out like a bandit with the publishing.

    Odd pains?

Are you overweight or eat poorly? It could be a heart problem, especially with chest pains. In either case, I suggest seeing a doctor to see if you're heart is okay. Make sure you mention the problems you have up front. They'll also check your blood pressure there to see if it's okay.

He's a college student, no matter what publicity, fame, or whatever, they're going to do stuff they regret.

Apologies to anyone who doesn't, I wasn't trying to categorize, in college, I was completely clean.

But kids and young adults will be like that sometimes, and yes, it was stupid to do it in a party, I'm betting a kid got a fortune for that picture. But it shouldn't affect him otherwise.

I've been on both sides of an argument, supported and slaughtered. I can get hot-headed myself and have been rebuked before because of the way it goes. People have their own point of view and when they express it, it can get out of hand. I wasn't being mean or vindictive, I just saw it slightly sliding out of control, it wasn't one person, it was several.

Also, with Bush's approval rating when he left at 13%, which hasn't been seen since Nixon left the office in shame after resigning. There's going to be a lot of people angry and blaming him. There's going to be a lot of people against Obama and even religion. It's just a part of politics, one of the many reasons it's banned from most major conversations, especially with your boss and family.

Anyway, the reason I posted that at the end was to keep on topic, but since this is sliding off-topic again, I'm going to ask Repliku to close it. Thanks for backing me, fyi, Evil.

I think personally, the thing is that the major part is that it ruins what the constitution stands for. The fifth amendment is basically no torture and "innocent until proven guilty" in the United States. Which was changed with Guatanomo Bay. Also, if you want to ask for help, which I wouldn't be surprised if we do, even the biggest and strongest countries need help at one point or another, we need to repair the damage already done, including the torture and separating ourselves from the things that made the world mad at us in the first place.
