It would probably be better to try his Twitter account. I'm going to bed. This is getting annoying. I just can't do it. I, right now, cannot find a single item that ISN'T a gummi part. Gummi parts and journal names; no items, no abilities, no nothing remotely like what I want to translate. GOD.
Xeeynamo. And that may be less helpful than you think. KH2:Fm and KH:Fm are structurally different. I feel defeated by a game in a way that shouldn't be possible. I've waited years to do something like this and I feel like... the real meat and bones of this project is JUST out of my reach. I've been giving myself headaches with this. It's so frustrating.

I fail to see how updating a particle effect is too much.
I hate how they didn't update Xemnas' warping effect. They really didn't do much with the new release, did they?
With regards to his tools, I recently found out through his Twitter account that he has since lost/deleted them. As for how he got the English text font, I haven't tried contacting him myself.

I don't think you quite understand how time consuming translating by hex editor is. First you have to find the text that you want to translate, then you have to transcribe it so that you can more easily find the hex values for each letter/character of what you're translating. Then you have to FIND the entry in the ISO of what you want to translate; if it's compressed you won't find it with a hex editor alone (I believe at least). Then you have to make the the replacement data which has to be the same length of what you're replacing so you don't ruin the iso or any of the data you don't want to modify. As I said I am trying to find the items and abilities but I haven't been able to so far. Please be patient.

I'm still not sure how the dreams thing is supposed to work. Someone at Square must've been watching Inception 24/7 when writing that game.
I'm not saying that I want it to be perfect; I'm saying that regardless of the many flaws and the obvious lack of foresight I still enjoy the game. I just wish that I could explain it to myself and others more easily. Yes, and I agree. Square has given in to what is "cool" rather than what would make sense or what would better fit the story. At this point I feel like Square Enix is killing their own game. The gameplay is getting better and the story, (while I KNOW that it's not the focus of the game, jeez calm down everyone) is making less sense. As Yahtzee Croshaw said, "gameplay should drive the car while the story navigates." They work together in order to avoid crashing or slowing down; they're both important. I don't believe I'm expecting "too much" of a game when I want the plot of it to make sense without getting into theoreticals.
A few posts up I shared what has been made thus far; the start menu (Abilities, Config, Journal, etc), a few of the gummi blocks, and the Shadow heartless and Ansem journal names (not their entries, just the name listed ON the entry). I really want to have the abilities and items translated; the Journal and cutscenes aren't as important but without having a guide to follow or knowledge of Japanese it's hard to know what Sora and crew can actually do.
I've been thinking about doing that. Thanks. :) EDIT: Getting back to the animation changing, has anyone made Xemnas more difficult? After watching his performance in KH1 versus what he does in his initial fight in KH2, he seems like he was toned down quite a bit. Or should I make a dedicated effort to get KH2:FM/wait for 2.5 ReMix? Worth it?
