A lot of things. First of all, it doesn't have all the shiny things of Maine. :P
You and what army? *pulls out dust covered rifle and polishes it*
Holy crap... That's an awesome website. I do hope this means changes are coming in how they send games to NA. It's amazing, I've never seen anything like that after the N64 era with gaming sites.
I can't believe it's going to take so long to get the game. I was hoping for a summer release. *has already paid the full deposit and everything* Now I have to wait until September? That and it's not coming out until three days before Europe. Usually it's a few months, now three days?
I would either say: "A Tale of Two Cities" Which I fell asleep reading. Or "The Scarlet Letter" Which I still don't get.
One thing that kept on popping in my head when I looked at them was that it was one scene. Yes, DH was one scene cover. But basically except for maybe two, it was showing only one part of the book. Harry Potter is many aspects put together in my POV and the covers don't fit into the whole world of Harry Potter. ESPECIALLY SS, when I saw that, I was dumbfounded they took a few pages of the book for the whole cover. I like the artistry, but overall doesn't define the books. I don't like them.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians, first book. I really didn't enjoy it as much as the Harry Potter series, to be honest.
Wolfie... *don't kill me, it was the first thing I thought8
Yup... I was admin for a while, retired two years ago. How're you?
*eyes the announcement of brand new pokemon like it's the coming of apocalypse* Okay, I was happy and enthusiastic until that line. No, no, no, no!!! There is NO WAY IN HELL I'm going to get a another game with more pokemon to catch. I didn't even like D/P because of how many frigging unoriginal, stupid, lame ass excuses they had for the pokemon and how much time and headaches you spent on them. Sorry for the bashing, but I have had it. I loved G/S/C, favorites. I loved R/B/Y. R/S/E, I tolerated. D/P I didn't even get halfway through. It's too much, unless they do major renovations including bringing back the rivals you love to hate and Team Rocket into it's former glory amongst other things, I'm not buying the game.
Japan is a delicate situation. WWII happened with Japan because they wanted to not be so dependent on the outside world. One of the main reasons they invaded China. In Japan, there's few natural resources outside of the fishing industry. So it wasn't due to the Axis or third reich that mostly influenced their decision. There's other reasons, too, don't get me wrong. One of the major problems with WWII and Japan was the culture of Japan at that time. They believed in ritual suicide instead of being captured. And also believed in fighting until every last man was dead no matter how much they were outnumbered. One of the reasons the atom bombs were dropped was to avoid U.S. casualties and stop the whole country from either attacking us or killing themselves to avoid capture. Now, lets go to the present, 55 years after the bombs were dropped. Give or take a few months. Japan has gone to be one of the more advanced countries in the world. Instead of focusing on the honor ritual suicide, at least to the outside world, they focus on beating the crap out of us in business and other aspects. *they did a helluva job for a while, too* They also seem more open, the "Americanization" of Japan, though not nearly as big as it is in other countries shows that. I think honestly they have changed. At some point, yes, I think they will declare war on a country and try to invade it for either valid or not-so-valid reasons. But I think also they won't make the same mistakes they made in the past. Hiroshima and Nagasaki was a wake-up call for Japan, and it gave them a big one, they have the right for a military.
Damn you staff!!!! 2. :p
