Hmm...I mean, not many anime that I've seen have given me such a great impression as Madoka, and even has a bittersweet ending that couldn't have been more perfect for the tone of the anime. For a show to have excellent animation, a great plot, etc., then it'll be a 9/10 to me. If it has that etxra "wow" factor, like Madoka did, in my mind at least, then it deserves a 10/10. Just my opinion. What would you consider to be a 10/10?
Good point. I mean, I did want to analyze it in greater length, but I wasn't sure how to do that without coming off as pretentious since there isn't much for me to work with. I mean, the themes that the show had going on were the dangers of egotism (Brittle Bullet), the importance of taking chances or "just swinging the bat" (Full Swing), the fact that your actions affect other people's lives as well (the whole Ninamuri episode, what with her dad's scandals affecting her everday life and how Ninamuri affected Naota's every day life by rigging the votes and making him Puss in Boots, a role which he detested) and the fact that you have to fight for those that you love (Full Swing and the last episode). BUT, there was no real motif that connected these themes. Perhaps the monsters coming out of Naota's head (and Ninamuri's, after Naota headbutted her) represent the immature qualities coming out of Naota's personality, which as a result, turns him into a man? But, that might be a stretch. What do you think? Well, here's a hint. Spoiler It starts with an "M" Spoiler and ends with a "adoka"
such thread many irony wow
I see the point you're making and I disagree. If Nomura were to add these in at the end of KH3 to unlock specific endings, at least there would be a sense of consistency, since these questions/choices have only showed up in KH1 and KH3D. And, like someone else said, I wouldn't be opposed to having the extra endings be viewable in a separate menu, and only have the regular, canon ending be viewed + the secret ending at the end of the credits.
Well, I mean, they basically had to do with your own morals and what you personally valued the most.
Moral choices have been around since KH1, bro. Remember when you're starting on Destiny Islands and all of the FF characters ask you existential questions and how your answers affect your leveling progression throughout the game? Or the questions that Riku has to answer from Roxas, Ven and Xion at the end of DDD to trigger the secret ending?
lol ****, why do I always get this? I dunno, I always look high. Imagine my face when I actually am. Anyway, thanks for the feedback.
Just did an anime review for FLCL, check it out y'all. What did you guys think of it? Both the anime and the review?
The funny thing is that this can go either way.
So, how royal does that make you?
This song This song is called tsurupettan. Also known as the flat-chested song. This song goes out to all my flat chested people. Rub your chests together in hopes of getting bigger ones next year.
I get that, I was just asking why did the younger versions of them have to take it, but apparently "time travel" is the answer. Gotcha. Thanks to both of you for clearing that up for me. One more question, although it's most likely just a plot hole: Why is Master Xehanort, and all other Xehanorts able to use the keyblade, but not Xemnas and Xehanort's heartless? Even though Roxas is able to? Is it because Roxas is actually Ventus and Ventus used to be a keyblade wielder? And if that's so, why is Xion able to use it? Because she's Sora's loose memories personified?
Ok, so: Why was KH1 Sora & Riku in the tutorial? What relevance did that have? Why was KH1 Sora & Riku taking the Mark of Mastery exam, and why did Sora go back and forth between his Dream form and real life form? Where was Sora & Riku in the real world when they were dreaming? How did the Organization retrieve Sora & Riku from the Mark of Mastery exam? If Riku & Sora were under the Organization's plan, and not really taking the Mark of Mastery exam, how did Mickey & Yen Sid know what was happening? Plot holes on plot holes on plot holes.
Pssh, Noire is cliche as ****. Also, check out my review, guys. It would mean a lot!
'Cause lightning never strikes the same place twice. Spoiler And FFXIII missed the mark the first two times, so God knows where it'll end up this time.
I kinda wanna play it now, to be honest. Japan confirmed for **** taste. But yeah, watch it if you like the game. If not, then you're probably not missing much.
Aayyyy khv. Worked pretty hard on this. From, like, 4 pm yesterday to like 3:30 AM this morning. Not to mention recording everything the day before that. Anyway, let me know what ya'll think. Also, how'd y'all like Hyperdimension Neptunia? And what should I review next?
Yeah, well, that goes without saying. Like I said before in another thread, the link styles in KH3D that Riku had were ****ing useless. They looked cool as hell, but barely was there any buff in attack power or even defense.
Hmm...although it isn't my favorite game in the series, Re:CoM is definitely the most balanced. The reason I say this is because you can customize literally every key swing and dodge/break almost every attack. Plus if you wanna combo your cards into a sleight, you'll be losing a card the next time you reload, which makes sure that you aren't overpowered. Additionally, the enemy cards that you can use as your ace in the hole are pretty fair advantages compared to drive forms, command styles, and spirit links. I think Re:CoM is probably the epitome of the action RPG genre, because it has a balanced emphasis on strategy, your stats and action. Yeah, but that's why most bosses in the KH series have patterns that you can easily prepare for. Like how Sephiroth in KH2 ALWAYS starts out with the same attack (which you can counter with triangle), and how Young Xehanort always teleports exactly 4 times from a distance before he does his stretchy-keyblade-attack-thingy (which you can counter by preemptively blocking).
I'm taking a virtual lab for Cell Biology next semester. Does anyone know what a virtual lab is like?
