This might have been suggested before, but I was wondering if there could be a section on Internet reviewers. Like TGWTG crew, Angry Video Game Nerd, etc... Maybe even some of the larger Youtube critics. Just a thought, what do you guys think?
I never admittedly watched Dr. Who, but having heard so many good things about it, I'm planning on getting at least the latest series of it. I especially like the Time Lord Concept, I think that's what it's called. It sounds like a fascinating series.
3, does ex-staff count? :P
I used to be a light blue until a short time before I left in 2008. And apparently I have a cult following now. Oh yeah, and my personality changed from hanging out with Gaia so much. Those ruffians taught me quite a bit on relaxing.
If the government was monitoring everyone on everything that they did, there'd be a lot of piracy websites that have already been taken down. Hell, I could name five off the top of my head that would be taken down as I type these words. And before you say: "Freedom of Speech" I know at least one website that is extremely famous for all of it's piracy that has been removed. The Government wants you to think they're in control of your lives. Especially after 9/11 terrorism attacks, they want to make sure you know they're watching you. Are they? Most likely not, if they did, they're doing a really poor job at it. Taking back to the Boston bombing, and no, I won't use this as they did and apologize in advance if I offend, the bombers most likely found a way to make bombs on a website if not a terrorist camp. There are many, there are probably a lot of school incidents that happen from the same websites. Do you honestly think that if the Internet was controlled all along even since a few years ago they'd find some way to censor this info? I once told my mom: The Internet has everything on it that anyone can think/dream of. Everything. Unless you're in a country where it's severely censored, you can find anything without any consequence unless you're a little kid/teenager who googles the wrong thing when your parents walk in, you can look up anything without worry that the Government will come storming into your home at three am in the morning. The only thing that is a worry right now is people hacking INTO your internet connection. And I have about five safeties on that. They want to change it and I still am against it. There's always going to be threats. Get a better damned security system, hell I bet Ebay has a better security system than the Federal Government. Though you didn't hear that from me.
The only real big problem I have with Polygamy, and I'm going into the minefield for this one: Is that in most religious based cases a lot of the women's rights are taken away. This has been seen again and again in cults and Mormon beliefs, which I DO ADMIT have removed the Polygamy belief mainly because of the publicity they were getting on how women were being treated in a lot of cases, not all. My mother met my dad in a cult where it was Polygamy based, the guy who ran it actually tried to take my mom as one of his wives though she and my dad were starting to show interest in each other. She got out with her sister and my dad before it happened, but she said it was frankly disturbing on how women were treated. The reason why most cult-based (and I didn't say Mormon, mind you) women go into Polygamy or grew up in it don't care because either they're brainwashed or they see it as part of every day life because they've seen nothing else. When you grow up in such a thing surrounded by a whole bunch of other families who are the same way you don't know there's something different. That's why it's done this way. And yes, I know there's other religions that are not cult-based who do the same, one of the biggest is the Amish. Please don't start a debate about cults, I was just bringing up a point. Thank you. =3 Anyway....... Going outside of religion, I don't care either way, as long as the person is happy and it's open and honest. There's a difference between a man cheating on his wife and a man finding another wife to be with them. If it's equal ground relationship where both the man and wife/wives are happy together, then let it be. I personally won't go into a Polygamy relationship mainly because I haven't found one yet that works.
Probably twice like I do for all Kingdom Hearts games. Once to get the feel of Kingdom Hearts again, admittedly I sold my PS2 so I haven't played in quite a while on Normal. Then once on Proud to get the challenge any trophies I missed and the secret ending.
Beautiful work on it... I was actually thinking of going to get my Assassin's Creed III game with an Ezio costume, but it fell through. That and the mall decided to change their plans on when to do Halloween. That's great detail and is incredible.
I like that idea, Night... I'd just turn it on once to see Nintendo's interpretation of Link's voice and if I can suffer through it. Gannon's and maybe Zelda. Depends on how bad it is. I still can't stand Mario's voice even ten years later.
What's wrong with you. *ruffles and offers a cookie* :P
Want a list? =3
Thanks. =3 I like mine, though I might change it later. Thank you for letting me know, though. =3
Oh yeah, if you look up the games yourself. Keep it clean, guys... The games itself speak on how non-kid game these are. Thanks. Mario is even better with that, unless you're talking about that one. Both are pretty nasty about how they treat human beings. And yeah, I only played the old generations through all the way, but the whole thing with Pokemon is that you work with your Pokemon and care about them enough to beat the game. Hell, some evolutions severely depend on how you treat your Pokemon. As one guy pointed out in his rant about this: Mario uses a leaf to get the suit. It's magic, nothing else. I lol'd at that quote. The whole thing sounds like PETA getting attention, especially since it came out around the time Super Mario 3 remake was coming out.
No worries, dude... I've been gone so long I didn't even realize I posted it in the wrong forum. :P I have been gone about five years. Holy crap it's been a long time. A lot of the old members know me, but I know a lot of the er... Younger ones won't. So don't worry about it. =3
I have seen this kicking around a few times, it is actually pretty violent and NOT a kids friendly gaming part despite the fact it is focused on Pokemon and Mario and apparently a few other franchises. PETA has decided a few years ago to make a few "realistic" video games based on several franchises. Two of them being Pokemon and Super Mario Brothers 3. Pokemon about basically the whole general standard about the series, capturing Pokemon, putting them in balls, using them for fighting, the Professors and so on and so forth. The other one was Mario with the Tanooki suit that apparently the animal does exist in Japan and they thought it was a cruel practice. For this, they made two games, Mario's one without going into any detail is a animal chasing Mario. Y-eah, I'll leave it like that. Pokemon is basically a Pikachu rescuing all the Pokemon being held by trainers who treat the pokemon wrongly. Again, these are NOT kid games so I'll spare the deeper details. Personally, I think it's funny as hell. I do despise animal cruelty, and I hate anything wrong with animals being treated wrongly. These two games and the others which I freely admit I haven't seen are really for me funny especially as a fan of Pokemon, the conclusions PETA comes to about the series and what they think is right and wrong about it are completely different than what the games are for. Oh yeah, and they do heavily advertise these are kids games. Though they are claiming that the Mario one was a "joke." They still at least have Pokemon up. I again don't recommend these for kids.
It kinda is a moot point when you're a member and can't change your title. Also, I'm not staff anymore so I can't use the same joke. :P
They're politicians, they aim low when they want to. If they don't want a bill passed, they don't mention a school shooting nor the fact that the NRA is giving them millions of dollars in support every election. I didn't just say that. If they want a bill passed, they aim as low as they can. The Boston Bombings for them are as low as you can go without mentioning 9/11 which would probably incite a riot. As for the comment on people living in their basement doing this, I find it quite insulting. The Senate needs to learn about computers and the modern age, like the price of milk (Sorry, no more jokes.) before they go onto an attack about "cyberterrorism". I'm guessing that this is another chance at SOPA, I think that's how you spell it. Where the government controls what's posted online. The government finds out about some "sites" they have a right to remove it. Hell, look at all the stuff that was passed after 9/11 that was supposed to "protect" us. Though admittedly some did, it became a massive headache for a lot of poorer people to get things. That's just my thoughts, though.
We have a winner, dudes... I have no idea what you just said. =3 *gives Llave a cookie and sips tea*
That's cool she got to finish. I know a lot of people were upset that they still got medals and didn't finish, thinking they didn't deserve it. Oh yeah, I don't have much sympathy for the bro anymore. He partied his brains out before the FBI posted the picture after the bomb went off. Though I do find it curious he didn't shoot the person who found him. I thought he was in shock, but the fact that he fought the police officers for an hour says otherwise.
Probably already used, but... "All our base belong to us."
