Keep it to video game reviews only, please...

He's very more adult than the Nostalgia Critic. Mainly he blames his generation growing up with role models like Jean Claude Van Damm.

He's a personal favorite of mine, even after his fallout with TGWTG which I do ask not to mention here due to the controversy. I love his Ultima reviews and Final Fantasy especially. I never even actually heard of Ultima until I saw his retrospective.

I'll check it out when it comes out, I do like the manga as I've read it before. But the price is way too high. If the demand is low enough, they'll drop the prices soon enough.

I wondered the second time I watched through the series...

Why does a religion know about the Entity so much earlier than the Pokemon games being made? If you look at Maggie's clothes in the Silent Hill intro's, she looks like she's from the 1800's or so. How do they know about the Entity then? There's probably time differences between the dimensions, but it seems odd.

That and the magic gun is sentient. Does that mean someone dies each time to create it?

I would say in KH1 either Sora stabbed himself with the keyblade or when Riku appeared in front of Ansem.

KHII, either when Riku removed the blindfold or when you find out Riku has been there helping the whole time in an organization cloak.

    I think it's a bit of both...

The genes of men are usually aggressive and protective of women for generations. In the wild, males usually are the ones fighting for the women. I know humans have been around for god knows how many thousands of years, but if you really think about it...

The way that society has been set up, say in the U.S., women didn't get the right to vote until the 1920's. In the 1950's, they were still at-home moms who baked apple pies and cookies for children and their husbands via society's standards. Men for generations have been protecting and supporting women. It has only recently changed, women for years, even in the American Revolution have joined wars and fought alongside men in secret, hell, in World War II, women took over the workforce when men were overseas. It was only then that they became a massively bigger role in working and other things. Societies standards for women didn't change for even a longer time, not until at least the 1960's or later. There are a lot of men who even today view women as they did before World War II. I know a few cults that don't allow anything to be watched except everything BEFORE the 1960's to keep women in that mindset.

Men for a long time have had the same instincts as animals even if it's deeply hidden biologically to protect women or that women need men. This is slowly changing, note: some faster than others, but it takes generations for it to happen. The debate on how many generations is for another day, but between society's view and that instinct, it is a very uphill battle.

I also like the Magic Gun concept, is there one for every dimension? Do champions have them specifically? What are the criteria for being a champion?

I kinda always pictured that there's a council of Champions who test the up and comers to make sure they're up to par. That they are protecting and keeping an eye on things without going batshit insane with power. But that's just me.

You bring up a lot of great points, Misty...

The thing about the bible, going to Patman's post, is that when the bible by at least some religions, note: Not all... Was written a 100 years after Jesus's death. There's a massive amount of problems with that, but lets stick with the topic for this debate:

The only people who could write back then were either rich males/merchants or monks. All are male, and writing even today goes from the author's POV. So what I would write would be different than someone else's.

Adding to your post, I have read in cases where women are trying to get restraining orders against men and are refused because the judge is a male who thinks: "She's a woman and he's her husband, suck it the hell up." Which in some cases ends up with the woman beaten to death because her husband beats her.

Hell, in my hospital which is fairly neutral, I need to be either 35, have two kids and/or have a life threatening condition in which I can't become pregnant to have a surgery to be sterile. I can never have kids, via genetics and a birth defect. When my mom tried to have the same surgery, she couldn't because she needed her husband to sign off and he refused. And that was 30 years ago.

Times are changing, but it's still has a VERY long way to go before we even can call it even ground.

That and where in the hell did he get that gun? From Wiki it says he keeps on saying he got it on ebay. And yeah, the whole Vyce thing is weird, he said in the review after he returned they did just a lot of scanning. But whenever he talks about/sees Vyce he just gets all serious and angry like something really bad happened there.

That and he didn't seem to know really that much about dimensional travel when Jaeris showed up. Which is weird, was Vyce's ship changed so he could survive in that dimension? Or was it something else?

Oh yeah, his other comic reviews are allowed, too. =3 I know he does others.

My first one was the first one. I have to admit, I'm not a HUGE comic fan, I do enjoy the Marville ones which even watching him I know are probably the worst comics ever made. And a few others, I also liked his Vyce series. I hope at some point he does flashbacks on what actually happened while he was on that ship. He never talks about it and he's at the point now where he could show it.

Honestly? I wouldn't see myself as a success as an admin. I know it sounds weird, but this place was the only one in my career to continue this long. I also learned a ton from it and actually am thinking about making it a career now.

Also, I think I would've been much more of a loner than I am now. This place really changed me. Also, the games were something that sparked my imagination on ideas for not only this series, but others as well.

One of my recent most favorite reviewers. He reviews a lot of other things, but at least for this thread, please keep it to Atop the Fourth Wall.

His humor can be off the wall sometimes, but he keeps it squeaky clean and I love his storylines. My favorites so far are either the origins of the magic gun or the Entity. Both were incredibly well-written and had amazing endings.

I especially like Marville. Just his reaction to it being that week has me laughing.

I love his theme months, the one about sequels was hilarious. I still have The Secret of NIMH 2 and Neverending Story 3 as my favorites.

I do like his opinions, I don't fully agree sometimes, but he brings up great points. He actually was the one who convinced me to watch Neverending Story.

I also enjoy how sometimes he gets his own digs into the fans. Like the fact that when he came back and changed the wall during his retirement and couldn't believe all the complaints he got about the wall. That and his "troller" that he has once in a while just to annoy him.

lolz... Thanks... I don't know whether or not to take you seriously, considering your start date, I'm guessing not. Either that or I should get the frying pan out or you don't remember me or my start date.

    Two words:

    Micheal Bay.

Very little drama, lots of explosions, very little death, very little storyline, women being basically very hot and in skimpy clothes, and a lot of really bizarre **** going around you all the time that doesn't make sense.

    What else do you need?

Btw: He was the only one who popped in my head when I thought this.

I'm guessing Riku also, because he found Sora sleeping. Unless his fights just took much longer to complete. He might've finished faster, but it looks like he was second to enter the castle. That and Sora was way higher when Repli Riku appeared. I think, it's been a while since I played.

    Kh endings

My favorite in cutscenes is KH1. The sheer emotion and sadness that happens when Sora says goodbye and they lock the door after traveling so long to be separated from their goal at the end was a heartbreaking scene.

The one for battle/wrap-ups is Days. Roxas going through that hell is sad and heartwrenching. The emotions he shows convinced me that at least some Nobodies still had emotions and deeply cared despite their denials.
