(Note: An early name for KH was Kingdom Champion or nickname Kin-chan) But seriously if the secret ending to Dream Drop Distance shows the Kingdom Hearts 3 logo I think I'll die of a heart attack. Just thinking about it fills me with excitement. Though it's probably not even designed yet so we'll see. So the main villain isn't Goldie-Eyes? aka Young Xehanort? Though I wonder if it's alright calling him Young Xehanort, I don't think Nomura ever called him that even though we saw his face and he looks a lot like Xehanort. Dream Eater breeding? I wonder if there is a Gold Choco- I mean a rare Dream Eater you can get? Unannounced worlds? I'm guessing that's the ones featured in the new trailer? If it's new ones yay! :D
Hmm...I'm a bit mixed with my feelings on this one. Compared to the previous trailer this one didn't seem as great, which is weird seeing as I think the official Japanese version of this trailer was much better than the other one. Regardless there were some nice voices there and I'll critique them now: Ansem (SOD) voiced by TheVader74: Great! Not quite the same as Richard Epcar or Billy Zane but it's nice and unique in its own way. I think you added a cool factor to him that the official voices couldn't capture. Axel/Lea voiced by Newkidaye: Very awesome! Your acting is phenomenal! Blue Fairy voiced by Roxas2142: Hmm...it's a bit too young for me. I believe the Fairy is supposed to be some sort of guidance type character right? That means the line should be said in an advising yet caring type of way like how a grandmother would speak to her grandchild. Braig voiced by StrawhatSoul: Ah the king of the Arcade! That was a perfect impersonation of Braig! Can't wait to hear more if we do cutscenes next or another trailer comes out! Clu voiced by William Morris: I can see a hint of a Jeff Bridges voice in there great job! It does sound a bit young however, though I'm sure you can perfect it if you practice with it more! Donald voiced by SonicTheVA: I think you're like official unofficial Donald lol. He is like the bane of KH fan dubs since most people can't find the right one and have to cancel their project. Almost every Kingdom Hearts fan dub I see credits you as Donald and rightfully so. Just speaking in that voice is unique and hard, but acting in it sounds like something only a few people could do. Great Job! Frollo voiced by PaW: It sounded great when you were starting the line then you did silent yelling, which is just awkward to anyone who listens. If you're in an environment that requires silence just move to somewhere more suitable for yelling or if it's night time wait until the day to record. I know you can do the voice right based on the last trailer, so just try to avoid more awkward moments like that and you're good to go! Flynn voiced by William Morris: Again great job doing the Jeff Bridges voice! Just need a bit more practice with it! Geppeto voiced by StrawhatSoul: Great job! You have a nice range seeing as you voiced 3 different characters of completely different voice types! Definitely a sign of good things to come for you as a voice actor! Riku voiced by Hlmactiii: Really good! I can't really find any faults. That one scene with Sam needed to be shouted though as if you were trying to talk over the wind. Roxas voiced by CGNET: Good to hear you as Roxas again! I don't know if it's the music, the scene itself, or the fact that you're playing Roxas again but I got a little teary eye'd for some reason. Sam voiced by CGNET: Ah I guess you couldn't find anybody to voice him? Not to trying to sound mean but it didn't fit that well. Also I think the lines needed to be shouted as if they are trying to talk over the wind blowing around them because they're flying. Before I get to the critique of Sora I have to ask what happened to Zekkai? And wasn't I supposed to be the understudy? Anyway, Sora voiced by Llave de Espada: I'm a bit mixed. You have a voice similar to him and I like that you're a bit higher in tone than Zekkai. However, there were times where you didn't show the emotion needed for some scenes such as the part where Clu was trying to bargain for the Keyblade. Also overall Sora sounded a bit wimpy, I get that he is supposed to sound nice, however the key to voicing Sora is to find a right balance between Nice and Strong. Meaning he has to sound lovable but also someone you can depend on. All you have to do is work on that balance and you'll sound perfect! Vanitas voiced by greater_bloo: Gah, not synched again! Though I think it's a bit better than the last time. If we ever dub that cutscene again, I think one of us has to do the line first and then send it to the other one and try to synch up the delivery. It also helps with the volume level. Victor voiced by StrawhatSoul: Very similar to the original! Great Job! Xemnas voiced by TheVader74: Love it! I had my doubts as to if you could pull off a younger sounding Xehanort since you usually play more mature characters but you completely passed my expectations! This is going to be one of those characters that I'll have a hard time getting used to once the official English version comes out for sure! Looks like my Vanitas has some competition on the dark, teenager type voice! XD Yen Sid voiced by TheVader74: Great job! You nailed the old man! ...voice...you nailed his voice! XD Anyway I'm finally done *sigh* that took 3 hours (not counting the break). You have no idea how many times I copied this entire thing just in case Firefox somehow crashed on me but now all I have to do is finish it off. My first impressions were that it wasn't as great as the other trailer and they still stand right now, but I believe everyone did a great job after individually analyzing each voice. I've seen some improvement among some of the returning voices and I see some very talented ones that could easily make a living off voice acting! Hope to work on cutscenes next! Unless that March 3rd event somehow spouts out another trailer then we can work on that one next! Also Mike I said this on the youtube page itself but I thought I should say it here, you can make the video widescreen by posting yt:stretch=16:9 on the Youtube tags.
Well it is the 10th anniversary it's kinda nice to have a game acknowledge the past stories. And it serves as a recap for recent fans or people who end up buying 3D as their first KH game. Anyway I wonder what more they can reveal about KH3D in that March 3rd event? Unless it's a public thing where people can play the game I believe anything else story related would be going into spoiler territory.
I was never annoyed by Navi, though that song shidonic posted is pretty annoying. The only time I had a problem with a helper is when Midna did that little laugh that came out of the Wii remote whenever you're near a wolf jump point, it creeped me out when I was playing on a quiet night.
Wasn't that title confirmed fake? Though actually today it was announced that they were officially working on a new one for 3DS and Wii U. This has got to be the first time I actually want both versions of the same game (if it is the same game) since I always liked the idea of Smash Bros. on the go and an HD Smash Bros. also sounds appealing.

I first saw Kingdom Hearts 1 on a magazine preview in "Tips and Tricks" and didn't think much of it, it was weird seeing Sora (or at the time "random anime looking dude") with Disney characters. Then I heard some of my classmates talking about it, I wasn't really big on video games back then so I honestly had no clue what they were talking about, I think they were talking about how the battle system was real-time not turn based, but it stayed in my mind. Finally I was in the mall one day just killing time and I decided to go into Gamestop and I saw the cover art. I just zoned out it looked so different from the games I usually bought. The title was not centered but on the top left, the heart moon in the background contrasted with the bluish dark scheme, "anime looking dude #1" aka Sora was holding a weird key thing, and again Donald and Goofy mixed with anime looking characters was weird. Yet it felt right, like despite it being weird everything just fit. After my little hypnotizing trip, I went looking for my parents and asked them to buy it (got the last one too ^_^) and played it for awhile. I sucked, so it took me awhile to beat the whole thing (I memorized the entire Ansem speech "Take a look at this tiny place..." because I kept dying). But at the end I felt really satisfied with it. Then later on I picked up another Tips and Tricks magazine found out there was a secret ending and worked to unlock it (there was no youtube back then), it was after watching that I knew this series is GONNA BE EPIC!
You mean Flynn's old and Quorra is a girl. I just imagined Olivia Wilde old, made me kinda sad. Then I imagined Jeff Bridges cross dressing *shudder*
RE:CoM was recorded after KH2. And based on some of the interviews he's done for Axel, I'd say at the time he just didn't know how he should sound. Axel's voice is pretty close to his normal voice and the recordings are done pretty quick that it's pretty much a blur to him after he recorded. Not to mention RE:CoM's localization was probably done on a smaller scale compared to that of KH1 or KH2, so they probably weren't as strict on the overall voice direction.
Sorry Mike I tried voicing the other characters. It is just plain bad lol, it sounds like a kid trying to imitate an adult or something. However if you can't find anybody I think JetFire62 (the guy who played Terra in the BBS fan dubs) would be fitting as Sam.

Why didn't she approve of the game? Approval in terms of violence? I mean not trying to be rude or anything but Kingdom Hearts is pretty kid friendly as far as violence goes. And thanks Cat<3 Sora and Gold for reminding me that it was Roxas' necklace. Can't believe I forgot about that lol.
I was thinking about it some more and I think it's a new symbol for people of the Organization who became human again. EDIT: It's Roxas' necklace emblem, nevermind.

Anyways that looks very nice, but I'm not one to splurge on Bundles and Special Editions. I do hope however that they include in the US release of 3D a poster of the cover art like with Days when you preorder (I think that was just a Gamestop thing though).
That would be nice and it would be pretty different from the previous battle music in Kingdom Hearts. If they can get "He's a Pirate" from Pirates of the Caribbean in I'm sure they can get that song in.

Go go Keyblade Rangers! Lol that was my first thought when I saw those outfits. But yeah they're pretty cool I always like how Nomura changes up the design for certain worlds. In an unrelated note when I saw Rinzler in the movie I immediately thought of Vanitas, the way he walks, the outfit is kinda similar, heck even their battle stance, not to mention the identity within the masks of both characters were shocking and a huge spoiler to anyone who didn't go through the game/movie.

I always wonder where people get the money to buy that much anime. Not to mention the time to watch it all. But yeah that's pretty impressive.
