Demyx's water clones and his constant outcries of "dance, water, dance!" Then there was how difficult Xaldin was to defeat for me--I felt like defeating him was akin to yanking teeth. Oh, and some of the timed stuff got on my nerves, like when you were on that moving platform in Space Paranoids and had to defeat all those Heartless within a certain period of time.

That would be...weird and pointless. I hope it's not true, because the game only came out seven years ago for PS2. Why make it on DS? Maybe he was talking about 358/2 Days?

    Yes, he is. ^_^

Ah, I see the scar now. Not very noticable, is it? I hoped they would make it more pronounced, but I guess not.

I wasn't expecting anything, really, but when I saw the opening I thought it seemed interesting. Then I watched my friend play it and couldn't wait to get my hands on the controller. Once I did, it was difficult to pry it loose from my fingers. I got the game for Christmas later that year and was able to further feed my addiction.

Kairi and Sora were 14 in the first game, and Riku was 15. It is true that both boys had a crush on her at one point, but having two boys like you at the same time is certainly not code for whore. If it is, then I'm friends with several whores. XD

Hm, I could have sworn I posted in this topic. Guess not.

I wouldn't say I hate any of them, but Xemnas is pretty annoying. Seriously, he talks so slowly it's a wonder somebody didn't sneak up on him and stab in the back during one of his speeches. Also, Lexaeus (totally didn't spell that right) just...didn't do anything. I mean, I can't fairly say that since I didn't see all the Re:CoM cutscenes, but he didn't seem important at all. Then Saix is really boring and bland, but he's fun to make fun of. My sister and I usually joke that he's Xemnas' secret lover just so we have something to laugh about.

The nice thing about Sokka is that he's both comic relief and a fighter, which is so atypical of one of those types of characters. When a character is only there for comedy but fizzles out of the picture during the fighting, they are boring and predictable. That's one thing I like about the Avatar series. They don't make everything so stereotypical.

It's because people can't get past their own immaturity when it comes to things like this. Girls tend to be more affectionate and open about platonic love, but boys often have this mentality that, if they're straight, they cannot show affection or friendly love to other boys. It does tie in with homosexuality because, like Jiku Neon said, people aren't completely okay with it yet. Some people don't want to appear "gay" or do anything that might indicate they are sexually attracted to someone of the same sex because they don't want to be looked down upon by other boys, sometimes girls. They are too afraid of what other people think. Personally, I admire any boy who is not afraid to show that he loves a guy, whether it be entirely platonic or in a sexual way.

Yes, the fangirls are a factor. In the Kingdom Hearts games, for example, boys are shown loving each other as friends, but said fangirls are not used to such comfortable affectionate behavior between males in the real world, so they interpret it as homosexuality. In other words, those who are immature about loving relationships cannot fully grasp the concept of males loving each other in a friendly or "brotherly" way. It is because of the way society works.

That's a tough one. I would definitely take a look at every problem the country is facing. Waiting for it to get better would be a waste of time, because who says that's even going to happen? I can't just assume things will improve if I don't do something. The solution is not going to be handed to me on a silver platter. For example, Napoleon Bonaparte definitely took the lead and made France, which was recovering from the French Revolution, into a prosperous empire. He gave it more influence and glory. His predecessor Louis XVI, on the other hand, was not a leader type (which is kind of important if you're a king), and during his reign, his country was plunged into the French Revolution (not to mention he got decapitated by his own people).

A big thing I would do is check with the people to see what they are unhappy about. Maybe I'll get some statistics, have them vote on what they want changed and what they dislike about our situation. Then I would put my all into fixing them, as long as I had the ability to do so. I mean, if my people wish for world peace, that's a little unreasonable to be placed on my shoulders, but if they want to improve living conditions or something, that's something I can do.

I would also look at myself and the mistakes I have made as a leader. I would learn not to repeat anything I have done in the past that has caused pain for my country. Similarly, I would look at everything I did right and keep it in mind. I would also ponder what I have done, exactly, to make my country not as rich and prosperous as it used to be, and perhaps look upon the tactics of past leaders.

I think immortality robs life of its beauty. The fact that death could happen at any time helps you to live in the moment and make your life the best it can be. The fact that you've got a time limit is motivation. Usually, when I'm given an assignment without a deadline, I just don't do it, because there's no specific time that I have to have it finished by. However, if I am given a deadline or I give myself a deadline, my conscience will annoy me until it is complete. We are given a short amount of time for a reason. Whoever gave it to us, whether you believe it's God or science or whatever, wanted to see what we would do with it. Immortality takes that away. Sure, you've got time to do things, but it's too much of it. You can't appreciate life if death is not an option or possibility. It's like the whole "there can't be good without the bad" or "no light without darkness" deal differently phrased. When books or movies promote immortality like it's some huge, desirable thing, they never mention what is lost. They act like you can't be satisfied with what life you're given. Ironically, to become immortal is to lose life. Without meaning, life doesn't have much left.

Most definitely smoking. While too much drinking can lead to misery and destruction both on the inside and out, a little bit is okay. Every time you inhale that smoke, however, your insides are being damaged, as well as the lungs of anyone around you that breathes it in. Also, smoking is addicting, whereas alcohol is only an addiction for some people (alcoholics). One or two smokes and you're hooked, but with drinking you just have to do it in moderation to ensure your own safety, not to mention the others in the vicinity. Both can kill in different ways, yes, but the way I see it, cigarettes are more deadly.

I dislike rap, but I still consider it a form of music. Music is such a general term that even beating a drumstick against a trash can counts, or tapping your fingernail against the tabletop. Plus, it's also a little like poetry, and depending on the artist, it can make a statement.

    Wii Fit

I like it, and that it gets people active while still getting to play video games (XD), but I haven't used it in a while, so I'm kind of scared to play it again. That thing scolds you if you take a long break before coming back to it. I don't want another lecture from that thing for not exercising!

I don't think posting a giant reply will be a problem (mods, correct me if I'm wrong). If you want to post a sample of your writing, I say go for it! Criticism is the best thing for a growing writer, and putting your writing out there for people to read over is the first step.

Oh, no. Please, movie people, have mercy on our souls. Even though it sounds like it's only a rumor, I will blow a gasket if this happens. Efron's fine for little teenybopper movies, but he's going to need some serious acting classes before he does anything...well, serious. And even then, there is no way I want him coming close to Back to the Future.

Oh man, I know! Why oh why are they white? I was at the auditions for this movie and was so confused why they were bringing in these white, blonde girls for Katara. Aren't they supposed to look Native American? That's the impression I got from the show. And I thought Zuko was supposed to be Asian?
