    Yes, and it also heightens the risk of developing osteoporosis. This is especially worrisome, because I can easily drink four cups of milk per day. I have been considering adopting a vegan lifestyle for some time now, with the exception of honey which would be inane to give up; beekeepers and bees possess a mutually beneficial relationship, insofar as the former's need of the latter's goods stimulate the bees' honey production & encourages them to expand territory. Territory that would otherwise be inhibited, for humanity's drive to conquest would hinder such if the bees were not in demand.

    What about tea? I should have dedicated a thread to Tea as well. I find tea is far more successful in enduing me with ample amounts of energy, whereas
    coffee-- though I like the taste, and haven't grown a tail yet-- renders me quite sleepy. And I would not drink any more than a cup a day, esp. if it's strong coffee like so.

    The Turkish have a saying, and it is as follows: "Coffee should be black as hell, strong as death, and as sweet as love."

    I am partial toward strong, black Turkish coffee myself. With foam, preferably.

    Perfection itself.

    Unfortunately, Turkish and Greek coffees contain coffee oils in high dosage due to the fact that it's completely unfiltered; the coffee grains remain at the bottom of the cup. Coffee oils contain cafestol, and consumption thereof raises low-density lipoprotein. In other words, it raises cholesterol levels and as such is pretty unhealthy for the long-run. But You Only Live Once, I suppose.

    Poor, poor ol' @Nate_River. What's there to say? He grew up in an isolated, anechoic, soundproof chamber.

    22k, are you sure; is it an official language? That's incredibly small. My second language is generally considered a dialect of Bulgarian when it isn't clean overlooked, and even then it's utilised by a country of 2.2 million inhabitants. I suppose yours wouldn't even feature in a linguistic or human geographic textbook.

    I hope you trip on the stairs on your way out.
    I hope your nasty bed head is infected with nasty lice.
    I hope a crow flying overhead endues you with a nice present.
    I hope your dog dies via cranial injuries inflicted by an oncoming truck.

    But you wouldn't care then either, would you?[DOUBLEPOST=1390680890][/DOUBLEPOST]

    OK, I'll concede that being involved in The Little Rascals serials didn't require much talent, just a cute and gullible chubby face + an audience full of mothers/grannies but how can you dis Judy Garland. She isn't an unknown actress, far from. Ron Moody is a theatre legend. Your taste escapes me.

    Oh, everything's fair game then.

    Did you like musicals? Jack Wild (Artful Dodger from Oliver!) was survived by Ron Moody (Fagin). If you watched the film now, you'd never guess that little boy Dodge'd be dead but Fagin'd be alive. Wild had his vocal chords removed due to excessive smoking/drinking in 2001 I think, albeit he'd been sober for 20+ years. Oliver Reed (Bill Sykes) also drank to excess which caused a heart attack in his 60s. Wild started smoking/drinking when he was twelve years old. That stuff went 'round in the 70s.

    Judy Garland (Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz) died by overdosing on barbiturates, and was constantly berated by execs for being 'unattractive' which lead to her self-image being frequently warped onscreen. A particularly touching song by her, from the heart;

    If you want more stories about child stars falling from grace, woo boy. Look no further than The Little Rascals, a constant supplier of tragedy since 1922.

    You're a tough cookie I gotta admit.[DOUBLEPOST=1390609416][/DOUBLEPOST]
