You should move to Eastern Europe. Ben 10 is on, every day in fact. Any store that carries kids' toys has Ben 10 merchandise. I am not exaggerating in the least. The other day I saw a kid with a toy Omnitrix gadget attached to his wrist. I have watched more Ben 10 than I ever cared to.
Others have speculated likewise, but it is highly improbable that such will happen. Wishful thinking. Joss Whedon has stated that Hank Pym will not appear in the Avengers 2. Edgar Wright has stated that Ultron will not feature in the upcoming Ant Man film. As for the JARVIS to Ultron theory, I have heard it as well. I think it possible, and if it is indeed true... Well, there goes any faith left. Tony Stark is the most developed character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he has had ample screen time. No Avenger has stolen the spotlight as he's done. He does not need extra screen time. It must call for desperate times when the achievements of preexisting, lesser known personas are transposed onto already successful characters. Whedon: possibly insecure that the film wouldn't sell otherwise? I can think of no other reason for it, esp. when you consider that the Ant Man film shall be released before The Avengers 2. They didn't have enough time to introduce the character to audiences--? The only forgivable reason, false.
Such is what people unfamiliar with his character think, but I disagree. The term itself implies a certain habituality, which does not apply to Pym. You'll recall the infamous panel where Hank 'hit' his wife -- it was initially an artist's flaw. But even if one were to take it at face value, it's been shown time and time again that Pym feels remorse over the fact that he hit Jan. Once. He acknowledges that once was too much. And that's not all! In recent events, Pym has taken active measures to prevent domestic abuse. Unlike Peter Parker and Reed Richards*, he has had to face up to his mistakes; the characters within Marvel canon won't let him forget his wife-beating status. Of course, I have yet to touch upon the myriad of mental health issues Pym has tackled with (he wasn't in his right mind, yada yada). He's the underdog of the Marvel universe, the best representation the mental health community has in (superhero) comic books. That's 616 Hank Pym. The term does apply to Ultimates!Hank, I'll grant you that much. But in the Ultimates universe, everyone's characterisation was so drastically skewed (the Ultimates also gave us incestuous Pietro/Wanda & made Bruce Banner a total jerkarse) that it hardly matters. * Ironically, those who claim Hank Pym a wife-beater tend to forget that Parker once hit a pregnant Mary Jane, and have you even read old Fantastic Four Issues? I cannot even keep track of the number of times Richards has belittled/slapped Susan Storm. Spoiler Apologies. I didn't mean to turn this thread on its heels and write an essay on Hank Pym but I kind of just To answer your question, YES. I believe it self-evident Tony Stark created Ultron in the MCU. Jarvis turns into Ultron, or something equally ridiculous.
100% Cloud, Squall & Vaan.
But you clearly don't understand how these 'alternate universes' work. Most people are acquainted firstly with the films, and it is therefrom that they learn about the characters' comic book counterparts. It's to the point where these films have the power to change canonical aspects of the source material; because they're infinitely more popular. For instance, Ant Man and Wasp were not included in the first Avengers film... consequentially, neither of them showed up in the Avengers Assemble TV series. I fear that before long, people will start to think Tony Stark created Ultron. Which he didn't! Please spare me some room for whingeing, my favorite Avenger is being discredited/downplayed as per usual.
