The enemies stopped, giving Chase enough time to slash they fell back, not yet dead. " Raven, Geryl!" Chase turned to greet them. " Notice anything weird about these guys?"

Chase elbowed another Kargo. These guys. They're..... Different. I don't know how, but they are. Then he realized. They aren't Kargo. " Crap!" He stopped, A blade skimming his head and landing where he would have been. Immediately two of the enemies were onto him with swords.
He dodged another one, this time wacking a Kargo right in the face with his foot. " I don't even know if it would help for them to come."
" Wow. Right when I DO need them they're not here." he jumped, missing a large blade that landed where he was a split second before.
Chase got up and kept running, coughing from the explosion.
He dropped something. " It should slow them down." Suddenly, he collapsed and the thing he dropped exploded.
Balmung sighed, walking away. " Cowards." He muttered as he walked away.
He started rushing through the forest faster than his wounds would let him without him getting injured more, his sword still halfway drawn. " How could they find me that fast?"
Chase suddenly stopped, as if he felt something. " Crap." He suddenly started drawing his sword.
Chase started going again. " And how the heck did they know to come back? Probably Geryl." He grinned, stumbling but regaining his balance. He looked around. " I just hope there aren't any enemies here." Chase started talking to himself, thinking out loud. " Well, I'm not hurting them anymore. But I still don't know the consequences of the second opening. Who knows what'll happen." he stopped, taking a rest.

" You guys stay here. I don't care if I die as long as I get there. How was my dragon when you left it?" He kept walking, wincing from time to time.

" He won't. When I do an opening, it effects him, too. We're in the same condition." He started wobbling through the woods.
Jake stirred, but started fading. " You won't get the time. He's already teleporting away." Chase said. " I need to get my dragon before he dies."
" I don't know." Chase said, crawling from under. " Plus I was never pushed so far to use the second opening. I don't know what will happen." He winced. " Except that it'll hurt for about a month. I won't be able to use any openings for that period of time."
