Accepted of course, though I think I already told you that on skype. //claps// This is perfect. Just what I'd expect from a Mage too. Yuel is not aloud at this time. Further into the story, it shall be. Username: Myst Character Name: Smoch Home country: Greil Class: Myrmidon Appearance: Spoiler Personality: A young naive boy, striving to become the hero of the world. Welcome to boot camp. We are going to whip you into shape so you too can become an honorable member of the Disciples. Now time for a geography lesson. Yes, I know, it may seem boring, but having knowledge of your surroundings is the best way to gain an edge on the battlefield. Let us begin with the 5 Countries on the Tallam continent. Greil - The Kingdom in control by Queen Christine. Recently they have had some trouble repairing from a civil war that took place only 3 years ago. Mainly the land is of farming communities and much flat ground. Sad to say, a lot of the landscape has been destroyed by the fires of war. Bastian - The Kingdom in control by King Victor. A land prospering from its recent victory against Greil. The land has become rich with nutrients and the forests that are scattered have been overflowing with life. The Bastians however are cruel to those not of their own land and have provoked many of the other countries. Yuel - A Kingdom not run by any real leader. You know this place as being under control by the Church of Vaal. The Bishops and worshipers live here giving respect to the land and each other. They are blessed with the ultimate defense as well, be graced by mountains surrounding the entire country. Veera - The smallest of the countries run by King Samuel. Mainly the country is of sea ports and desert. The major cities all run along the coast and across the rivers. The people are mainly fishermen. Friendly, but not the most trustworthy of men. Naga - We haven't much an idea of the land. The Nagans usually shoot anyone who comes close to the walls they have built around the nation. The only distinct thing we know is that Empress Monica does not wish any outsiders in her land. Geographically, we only know about the mountain of smoke that emits from the middle of the land. That is the lesson for locations. Now, being that you are going to join the Disciples, I should tell you about the unique traits of each fighter. That way we can decide what you can do best. We will start with simple classes. There are 8 in total and each has its benefits as well as its weaknesses. Myrmidon - The basic sword fighting class. These classes are high in Skill and Attack. They have a moderately low Defense however. Their main weapons are of Swords. Can upgrade to Assassin or Swordmaster. Fighter - The basic ax fighting class. These classes have exceptionally high Attack and Vitality, but lack the Resistance to fend off Mages. Their main weapons are Axes. Can upgrade to Warrior or Hero. Knight - The tank of the army. These classes are known for their high Defense and Attack. Speed and Resistance however are not their strong suit. They mainly wield Lances. Can upgrade to Great Knight or Soldier. Archer - The long distance unit. These classes are good at sitting back and attacking from far away, however, if any enemy gets too close, they can't fight back. They have good Skill and Speed. They mainly wield Bows. Can upgrade to Sniper or Bow Knight Mage - The Magic fighter. These classes can be both up close and far away as well as have a fantastic Magic ability and Resistance. However, they lack Defense and are very vulnerable. Use Basic Tome spells. Can upgrade to Earth Mage or Sky Mage. Priest - The Medic of the group. They cannot fight, however they can both buff and heal team mates. They have high Magic and Resistance but like the Mage, they cannot withstand physical attacks. They use Staves. Can upgrade to War Priest or Valkyrie. Pegasus Knight - (Female Only) The Pegasus Knights are all terrain fighters. They have great speed but take considerable damage from Archers and Wind Magic. They fight with Lances. Can upgrade to Falcon Knight or Dark Flier. Wyvern Rider - (Male Only) The Wyvern Riders are all terrain fighters. They have great Strength and Defense, however they are vulnerable to most magic and Archers. They fight with Axes. Can upgrade to Wyvern Lord or Draco Knight. ((Last Class Coming Soon)) Tell me about yourself soldier and what exactly you are good with... Username: Character Name: Home country: (Greil only for now. More will be available as the story progresses) Class: Appearance: Personality: Social Rank: (Noble, Peasant, Farmer, Middle Class, etc. Just not royalty) Birthday: (Just month and day) Rules~ Welcome to Fire Emblem: The Five Embers. There are a few things I need to cover just before I get to the rules. Bu the rules will be alongside these so read them all, please. 1. Yes, you can die. And like the games, you will be forever dead. That is to say, there is a 3 character limit per person. You can have 5 in total, but the other 2 are just in case one of your characters die. Death will come from enemy attacks and not posting. Every class will have a set HP and % for gain each level. 2. There won't be a stat system because it honestly takes far too long to do a single mission that way. There will however still be a level up system that will be based on how many words you type. Eventually it will be harder to level. Class Changing will also come into play when you reach level 20, which shouldn't be too difficult. More on those when people are getting there. 3. These kind of RPs have a godmod quality that is difficult to avoid. So I've come up with a few ways to make it so. More on that later. Basically this is just here to tell you, don't godmod other people's characters alongside your own. 4. Simply enjoy yourself, that's all I can really say. I mean, we will be at war most of the time, so there will be character stress of course, but that shouldn't stop them for enjoying the little things in life right? 5. If I think of more, I'll let ya know.
Digi-armor Energize!
Define more active. I'm pretty active in the RP section. Besides, my computer blew up and I was afk for a few weeks... so... what do you want me...
Eon placed his hand on the old man. Most would see him as crazy and confused, but Eon had seen this before. Back in his home, many were considered to be insane and tell stories of the impossible. After a while, you could learn the fakes from the truth. This man was one of those who had told the truth. Besides, Eon had seen weirder. "We'll help get your daughter back, sir. We can guard you back to the castle as well if you'll show us the way." He smiled trying to comfort him.
I quite like that idea. It gives more reason to post. Like in the games, once your HP hits 0, you're dead forever and there is no chance of you coming back to life. Each level can increase max HP as well by a set amount. FE tends to use the % system for level up, so say certain classes get like an 80% for HP to increase while others could be 120%, allowing for a possible 2 HP. This would also all be done with RNG.
You have a point. I could see it taking far too long to get 1 battle done with stats and actual gameplay mechanics being thrown in. However what I can do is still include a level system that is merely symbolic and allow class changes. Say experience depends on posts and word count. That was if you get to a certain point, you can Class Change and be a bit more high and mighty military wise perhaps. Its still in the baby steps of being formed, however, so ideas would be appreciated if you have any.
It appeared the boy had overslept. He awoke to see the castle completely empty other than the usual few that lived on the world. Thankfully, there was still a scroll set up giving the details of the worlds that were in deed of the others. Beasts Castle sounded like the kind of place he could be needed. He ran out to the entrance and activated his keyglider, disembarking to the world that needed him. He came soaring in, landing behind a group of buildings that would allow him to go unnoticed. The world itself appeared to not be far advanced in its technological fields. Coming in with something like a keyglider may cause an uproar, something that was unneeded. He looked around the corner to notice Kross and Karina were together with a strange, fat, old man. He appeared to be in some sort of distraught. Eon had clearly missed what had happened. and needed to be brought up to speed. Eon made his way out to the others with a guilty smile on his face. "Sorry I'm late... ehehe... What did I miss?" he asked towards the man, Karina, and Kross. Something was clearly wrong. What could it have been.
"Like any other heartless, you simply smack him in the face or hands and they die." Dusk said calmly, unphased by the pure evil emitting from One's new body. "I'm not afraid of fighting him." He began to charge at One, not thinking clearly in anyway. Dawn on the other hand was a bit more level headed in a way. Her fear made her unable to move, having visions of the past. Visions from an unknown woman she hadn't met at all, yet one she felt close to. A similar event occurred and all she could do is stand and stare. Enox was walking away from this "new" form of hers, not caring in the slightest. "Welcome aboard." He waved back, heading towards the exit of the arena. "Hades is the one I search for... the Underworld shouldn't be to far from here." He whispered.
The attack came down towards One. His body barely dodged a critical hit, but he was still given a slight scratch. "The pain feels so good. Now why am I so misunderstood. You think of them as kin? With that idea you simply won't win!" One plunged into the ground as the shadows continued to increase in diameter. Out came a creature similar to that of a Darksider. No more speech came from his lips. Only the darkness of heartless coming from his body emitted. Enox looked towards Anatana and Caleb. He simply ignored the girl yet glanced in a way to show he cared very little. As for Caleb, "Boy, welcome to Olympus Coliseum. It is here that a certain being has access to the world of the dead. Come, help me track him down." ooc: more to come.
So you think you and TK would like to hang out with me and Tai in the Digital World this weekend?
I'm hoping they give him his Mega and make it act sort of like Wario's final smash did in Brawl, just not so speedy. As for Toon Link, they've had a Link clone since Melee so its nothing new. Besides, Toon Link is basically half the Zelda games now being WW, PH, ST, MC, and plenty of other handheld games. There are still a lot of characters they haven't put in IE Earthbound duo, Ike, Jigglypuff, Yoshi, etc. I also don't know what kind of Pokemon they could use. As I said, there isn't much to work with in these past 2 generations. I mean, Zoroark maybe? But Lucario and Mewtwo seem to be the best human shaped pokemon to use for fighting.
Meaning what exactly? Something wrong with Lucario? Its not as if they have many options for usable character in Pokemon. Besides, Nothing wrong with returning characters. //loves Lucario//
Kid you not, I saw this title and thought, HAMTARO??? Then I realized I was wrong and got sad then looked at everything. Seems decent enough. I'll put it on my tobewatched list.
So over the course of the few weeks, I've been indulging in many of the Fire Emblem franchise. I come to you asking if anyone would be interested in a Fire Emblem RP. It would be original of course. The question also stands, would it be simple story and conversation style when in comes to battles, or would it be preferred to have a battle system to be set up with stats, classes, etc. (which I can provide)? Anyway I have a few ideas for story. Anyone have any interest at all?
Disembarking to Beast's Castle, obviously the group B.
One's fist was blocked by the keyblade. Only if he possessed such a weapon of his own he could take less damage from such blocks. That was the disadvantage of hand to hand. Advantage was quick recovery, and that was just what he needed, falling to the ground, he placed his hand on the dirt, twirled, and aloud his legs to come crashing towards Eric. "Son and daughter they are by blood. I care for them however as much as mud." Dawn blinked towards Anta. He was right, they could all go together no problem. "Yeah, lets go." "First, we need to get back to One and that other man... and Xapphy..." He muttered the last bit. "Right, lets go Anta, they need out help." Enox had been untied and freed from the prison. "Well, now is not the time to fight." He looked towards Caleb. "Kid, I'm going to fall back, if you care to come along, the corridor will be open." He summoned the dark corridor and stepped on through, traveling to a separate world. "Olympus Coliseum huh, guess this will do."
Hey, Jayn, I won't be able to post. My computer fried so I am without. Managed to message you through 3DS. I'm Sorry, I really wanted to play in...
Seating wasn't an issue for she had already took it upon herself to sit. Now that the game was shown that the rules were set, the frown had finally reversed. This game would be too simple. A walk in the park one might say. She leaned over and grabbed a card pulling it close to her face. "Clubs, I suppose this will suffice." The new thought was who would she be working along side with. Working with others never was a strong suit. "sigh/" However, things took a turn for the worse, the bell had begun to ring and much louder than anticipated. Her set reaction was to curl her legs in as well as her hands cover her ears. Luckily she managed to shut the holes with skin before any damage was made. Even though blocked off, the sound waves still vibrated loud enough to make her twitch in pain. The same couldn't be said for others who appeared to take the sound much much worse. "DAMN THAT WAS LOUD. OH RIGHT!" She was shouting since she had basically become deaf. Moving her hands back to where her ear holes were, she aloud the skin to fall off to hear once more. "That's better. hm? Where'd everyone go?" That was certainly odd, everyone seemed to disappear for a slight amount of time. She looked at the remaining people. She sighed when seeing Ursa bleeding. "C'mere, I'll heal your hearing and wounds... can't have a handicap can we." She said pointing her palms out toward her. She would set time back for Ursa by a few minutes, just to heal her some. That was all she could do in this accursed castle.
Kuru gave an angry hmph towards Ursa and her methods. Now was not the time to get angry anymore. Things were starting up soon. If anyone wished to have a simple conversation, let them come to her. Now was the time to study the others and their abilities. If she could figure them out, the more fun she could have watching them all suffer in the loss of their own powers. Her seat was cold, and a slight shiver stormed up her back as she made contact. "What I would kill for some warmth right now, damn that Ursa." She mumbled to herself. One and two and three and four, more kept entering through the games hall's door. Most familiar and other not so much. The ones Kuru "knew" she had a tighter grip on how their powers were used, but not complete knowledge. Memorizing their body movements would sure be of some help now.
