Riku squeezed Sora's hand and nodded. He knew how it would go. The screams, or whimpers, or crushing of hand that would follow. He sighed. "Be strong Sora," Riku urged with a small smile. OOC: Lol, alright
Riku watched, wondering if the labor would start soon.
Riku stroked Sora' hair and gripped his hand tighter. "They're here, see? Don't worry, this will all be over soon. Just hang in there okay?" Riku said, although his own voice shook with apprehension.
"Just relax honey," Riku said as he held Sora's hand, "I'm pretty sure its almost time. Sure is taking forever for some medical staff to come around..."
"Perhaps. After all, nekos are different from regular humans and after all, too many people will cause you stress," Rku said with a nod.
"If you want, I can go look for the doctor. Unless you don't want me to leave.." Riku said, anxiously looking at the door.
"Right, right," Riku said, looking slightly less worried, "I just can't wait till we see our litter..."
"Sora, you okay? Do you need anything? Anything I can do to help?" Riku asked, looking anxious as he took Sora's hand and gently squeezed it.
Riku smiled back and followed the nurse, making sure to have a firm grip on Sora.
Riku quickly walked over and lifted Sora, carrying him in his arms. He almost considered her a test of his strength which he was barely passing. "Let me take you. You seem in too much pain," Riku said, his voice a little strained.
Riku nodded and quickly exited the room, grabbing the nearest nurse he could find and dragging her to the room. Geez, you culd be a little nicer. "No time," he said before instructing the nurse to help alleviate Sora's pain.
"grins" well now that that's settled. I want to hold one!
"Well they are like little kittens and besides, its a litter.What did you expect?" Riku smiled, still worried how Sora would handle it.
You can look, but not touch.. *chuckles*
"Don't worry, I'm here. If you feel pain, we'll cal a nurse to give you some pain medicine. Don't worry, this probably won't hurt as much as you think. or at least I hope..."
Not now. We must let the cubs adjust and stuff.. Besides I get first dibs since I'm the dad...
"I know, I know. Have they given you the epidural yet? You seem rather calm about this..."
Sora, how come you didn't tell me!?
"Sora, rest. I'm sure this will be painful and even more so with the kids we'll have," Riku said with a chuckle. He had a worried look on his face though, "And no is holding them until I get to hold them..."
