There was nothing more that he had to do so Alistair decided why not check around the palace a bit. He wish he could say there was nothing he could lose but in all honesty who was he exactly kidding? He knew the chance of dying was high, but it didn't matter to him, such thrills were what compelled the white dressed aristocrat. He walked out of the room belonging to Temeluchas and began to walk down the halls of the Obsidian Palace. "Quite a curious thing...if Obsidian is what kills them, then why the hell live in a castle made up of materials that can kill them....I mean what if they trip and hit their head on an obsidian floor...would their head wound not recover?" Alistair mused to himself silently as he tried heading off to find something interesting. He tried opening some doors but they were all locked. Alistair continued walking along until he found a two way fork in the hallway and raised an eyebrow as he took a right. Eventually he found himself in the very same operating room he cut the babies out. With that Alistair chuckled and wiped away a nonexistant tear "ahhh the memories...they grow up sooooo fast" Alistair said as he noticed a few medical objects. Taking noticed of what was needed for his humanly needs he placed some objects in his pockets and walked off back to the fork in the hallway and took the other path He tried the doors he came upon but to no avail and soon enough he encountered yet another fork. Once again Alistair took a right and noticed some stairs. It was here that he realized he should be more on guard and with that he walked down the basement stair, quite giddy with the thought about what laid head for him.
Julius continued on with his work before the sudden sound from his phone caught his attention. Erik had returned his text and he was quite surprised with what was said and began replying back. And with that their text conversation was at an end and Julius was left even more confused then ever. Erik called her crazy, but did he truly mean that literally or was this some sort of brother sister conflict or something of the sort. Could he really ignore a person after such a nice moment? Julius was always a man who was prone to the effects of guilt. He was strong willed and if he had a reason that he strongly believed in then guilt wouldn't harm him, but if nobody did anything to him or his loved ones then why should he be mean? For now all he could do was do as Erik said and avoid her, but he just couldn't ignore her if they did come in contact again. With that Julius yawned before heading to sleep
Once again Alistair had awaken from his slumber and gotten out of bed, walking off do do his own thing with his cane in hand. More and more staying in hell just made him wonder just what was going on up above. How many of them had died? how many of them had joined? it was such curiosity that made things so much more interesting. He merely stood there and glanced down at his hand "...Azrael..." Alistair said quietly as he clenched his fist and smiled. Did he truly hear the words of Azrael? Those moments where he made the greatest changes, the moment where he stared at death, it was those moments he got a mere glimpse of the being he used to be, the being of death. Maybe it was time for him to schedule another meeting with the angel of death. He could only chuckle as he moved on with lazing about before getting the kids tutored.
A loud groan had escaped the lips of Julius as he rose up from his bed. Recently morning have been making the man feel like **** basically and this morning was no different from the others. Pain just loved to enter the mind of Julius and he could just endure it and move on. He found just toughing it out caused the pain to go away for him. As the saying goes, no pain no game, and Julius was all about the game and pain. He could hardly called himself a man if he wussed out on pain. With that he was out of bed and after some sexy Julius shower time he was out, fully clothed and off to the kitchen. With a yawn he put some bread to toast and took a seat to eat it once it was done. He began munching on the pieces of toast as he glanced over at his computer and stared at the work he needed to get done. Now that the pain had vanished he really began missing walking around and yelling at his students. "Man this quarantine sucks" Julius muttered as he noticed his phone resting on the desk and picked it up. He raised an eyebrow as the memories of the last night began to flood back in. "oh god" Julius muttered as he shook his head at the thought at Lennox. With that he opened up Erik's number and started to write up a text to his fellow drinking buddy. With that the text was sent and Julius let out a groan.
"Alllllllllllright kiddies with that we can say class is over" Alistair said taking off his hat and giving the kids a mock bow before letting the kids off to do what they needed. In the two days he had made quite the progress with the kids and he could say he was quite pleased with what was going on. A yawn was let out and before he knew he was off to the bed that Lu owned and drifted off to sleep.
And so Julius stood there and watched Lennox leave with his eye twitching as he watched on. "She...just loves messing with me..." Julius said softly and he closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh before taking a seat back at the bar. "This...might not turn out so well..." Julius said with a groan before taking his drink and swallowing it down. He really had no idea how Erik would react to what happened today and in the future. "Wait...future?" Julius muttered quietly has he rose his hand over the cheek that had been kissed and raised his eyebrow. Surely this was only a single encounter thing?...no he couldn't say such a thing. The two of them really hit it off and he could tell they were sure to meet again, but... "Urrgg...this...just hurts my head" Julius said holding his head. With that he merely paid off what was owed and off out of the bar. Luckily he lived close so all he had to do was just walk home. After a while of walking down the cool streets he let out a sigh and just accepted it all. Whatever was to come was to come, his whole life was a bizarre adventure so this honestly was nothing really new. He made it home and after locking the door he collapsed on his bed and drifted off to sleep.
The memory still lingered a bit in his mind, but he felt her hand touch his knee and he stared down at her as she apologized to him about his time. He had said nothing about his time there, but then again it really wasn't hard to find out due to the eyepatch. He was quite taken back by her sudden kind words, but he merely smiled back softly in return, having her around just felt so nice. She was just a fun person and anything negative just etched away...hell he had totally forgotten about that pink haired girl and how much she annoyed him. She began to talk again and like usual he continued to listen, but what she said next was quite shocking. At first when she began to talk about her brother he began thinking back to the other teachers, wondering just who it was that she was related to. There was something familiar about her, but Julius just couldn't put his finger on it. She continued with what she said and once she finished what she said he froze. She asked what was wrong, but Julius was still shocked to hear this news and the words just passed by him "Your..." Julius began to mutter before pointing his finger at her "YOUR ERIK'S SISTER?!" Julius yelled before he once again fell off his stool only this time at a harder force. The pain from yesterday's Extreme Basketball surged across his body and Julius groaned as he laid on the ground "Urrrg...daaaaamn girl your just filled with surprises" Julius said with another groan.
Julius could only chuckle and shook his head "Ah no what I do isn't anything exciting really" Julius said before crossing his arms. "Im a professor at the fancy university named Fortissimo...Ive been one for I guess two years or so" Julius said. Teaching could be fun but just talking about it seemed dull. Holding his drink, Julius looked down at it as the ice began to spin. "Before that...I was in the armed forces" Julius said silently. Thinking back to those days were not quite pleasant, and because of those days he lost half his world. Unknowingly he placed his hand over his eyepatch covered eye and just stared down at his drink. For the mere seconds he was caught up in his own little world, but suddenly his eyes widened upon realizing what he was doing and turned his attention back over to Lennox. "Ah right, so..er...yeah Im a professor at Fortissimo...no booty stealing or anything of the sort..." Julius said with a smile before finishing his drink and getting himself another drink. At this point he was wondering how much more he could take.
Alistair was up quite early leaving the bed that had been occupied by Lu and stretched as he placed on his jacket and hat on with a silent yawn. He didn't know why, but Hell always seemed to at least get him out of bed instead of usually sleeping in. With that he walked off a bit casually with his cane in hand. Excluding Lu's room and the room where he chopped out the babies, Alistair hadn't really seen the wonders of hell. He was curious, but not that much. He thought back to the three children and realized that one of them were missing. Just what dd Lu have planned, and just what was going on with Leon at the moment, those were the two things that interest him.
Julius continued to listen to the girl speak and raised an eyebrow as she continued to stare at him. She was quite adamant about trying to remember where she saw him so once again he tried to remember to no avail. It was just a total blank for Julius, but then what she said once again caught the man off guard. "YOU WHAAAAA?" Julius said leaning back on his barstool. Unfortunately he forgot he was on a stool so when he leaned back he immediately fell to the ground. Maybe it was because he didn't want to believe it, but it made sense. The only club he ever went to was the Saucy Bottom and in reality that was going to be the only place they would have met if it involved clubs...not to mention her current clothing at the moment. With that Julius merely sat up and crawled back up to the barstool and sat back on it. "Well thats...interesting..." Julius said. Julius stared over at the grl's back and Julius could only let out a sigh with a smile. With that he merely grabbed one of the tequila shot and tapped her shoulder "Well then...care for another shot?" Julius said holding up the shot for her with a cheerful smile. Everybody really deserved to decide what path they would take. Sure some might not agree with it, but all he really could do was advise. For one who couldn't do much in his life, he liked seeing others do well with their life. Stripper or not, all he knew was he enjoyed hanging out with this girl and that was good enough for him.
He really didn't know what it was with this girl, but more and more Julius began to like being around her. All his life he never really felt such a feeling. He always told himself maybe he should settle down a bit, but he never did that and always would just put it to the side. He wasn't drunk yet, it would take more than what he took so far to get him drunk. He took a sip from his newly filled drink and raised an eyebrow. He watched as the girl drew closer to him and suddenly she asked her question to him. It was a curious thing and he began to wonder if they actually had met before. In this state he was sure he never met this woman, and it would have been quite odd if she didn't remember him. He had his eye patch for quite a long time and it would be kind of hard to actually forget somebody who wore one. It was most likely they met indirectly in some sorts. Watching the girl rock back and forth, Julius placed his hand on his chin and began to think back. He was always one for bars, but never one for clubs. Clubs were always noisy and filled with people so Julius always avoided them. "Hmmm...no I don't really go to clubs....but" Julius said before the sudden memory occurred in his mind. That trip he took long ago...it was a horrid trip that Julius just couldn't forget. Though he did good, the sheer annoyance that trip caused overall was what made it hell. "Er..yeah..when I think about it I went to one..er..certain club by mistake..." Julius said scratching the back of his head bashfully. He really didn't know what to say and just flat out saying he went to a strip joint was something he didn't want to say...even if it really was an accident.
"Hm, riding, dancing and drinking" Julius said softly as he continued to stare at the girl as he drank the glass of alcohol before him. From what she said she was quite the adventurous one, one who loved speed. He could relate to that as he always love to feel thrills and get his adrenaline pumping. Dancing was something they definitely did not share in common. It wasn't that Julius disliked dancing, it was just the sheer fact that he couldn't dance at all. If he did dance well then everybody was surely to call him a peg legged pirate. The last thing she mentioned was obviously something they definitely shared in common. The turn for him to say his hobbies had arrived and honestly it was something he should have saw coming. He closed his eyes and began to drink out what was left in his glass, but immediately his eyes widened upon hearing just what the girl said. The liquid began to burn but not because of the alcohol, but what she just said immediately caught him off guard. The liquid was drowned down his throat and Julius immediately began to cough and pant lightly as he stared up at the girl yelling for another drink. In this time he regained his posture and sighed. At first he thought she was just joking around, but it really just caught him off guard. Signalling for the bartender to refill his drink as well, Julius merely crossed his arms and closed his eyes as he began to ponder. "Hobbies..hobbies...ahh this is tough...well I guess maybe drinking...I do tend to fight alot..." Julius said placing his hand on his chin and frowned "Hmm...damn it girl your making me think much more then I need to...just know I enjoy the thrills of life..." Julius said opening his eyes with a smile.
Lennox was quite the enthusiastic person and Julius actually liked that about her. He was quite curious as to why the two had never really met before, but then again he had taken a break from drinking due to the accident so that held some form of a reason as to why they never met before. "The usual for me" Julius said as the bartender brought out the drink. Once the tequila had arrived he felt a sort of happiness, quite pleased and excited to be able to take pleasure in taking the golden shot. He looked over at Lennox and he raised an eyebrow for a second. Looking over at her excited grin, she reminded him of somebody, but at the moment he just couldn't remember who. Regardless Julius raised his shot of tequila and laughed along with the girl before taking the shot and let out a deep sigh as he shook his head once the liquid went down his throat "man thats good" Julius said with a smile. Immediately the man closed his eyes and raised his head as he held his temples "Alright I suck at small talk but lets give it a shot" Julius said as he looked back at Lennox "Alright got it! hobbies, what do you like to do Miss.Lennox?" Julius said
The pink haired girl truly was quite the weird one indeed. He looked quite baffled for a second after what he said and though that was normal, what happened next really caught him off guard. "Did...did she just...hit on me?" Julius said silently as he raised an eyebrow. Things had surely gone from strange to disturbing at an extremely fast rate and Julius could only drown it out with the alcohol. And so he sat there with a sigh as he finished off his first drink and held the empty glass for a bit. The jingle of the bell that rested above the door was caught by his ears, but Julius merely paid little heed to the noise. For him it just meant another person was to fill the bar and soon enough this place would get a lot more noisy. He let out a sigh barely paying attention to the girl before him. Their conversation began and though the first words were said due to fatigue from the pink haired girl, the little conversation turned nice. The girl had quite the humour and Julius could only laugh as he held her shoulder. This girl was quite something, he never really noticed it but staring at her now he realized she was quite the beauty. Her sudden remark about his laugh and her grip on his hand were all quite unexpected, but just feeling her hand on his felt nice. "The names Julius, its nice to meet you" Julius said with a soft smile as he stared down at Lennox's blue eyes. He closed his eyes and let out a small chuckle before turning his attention over to the bartender "Hey, stick her tab with mine, I'll be paying for her drinks" Julius said before turning his attention back to Lennox with a cheerful grin "My treat" Julius said. Julius never really had experience with women like this, true he had dealt with women before, but those were merely as students and colleagues. This was different from that...maybe things were looking up for Julius.
3 It was pretty nice to be teaching such obedient children. It had seemed Lu had a certain curriculum planned due to the textbooks and went with what was given to him. He wasn't like the normal teachers and he tried his best to lighten the mood a bit. If this was to be his job then surely he could at least embed some of his personality into them and piss off Lu in whatever way he could. The lesson came to an end and Alistair smiled as he ate the sandwich he was given. He noticed her fall asleep and smiled "daww how cute..." Alistair said with a small chuckle before taking off his jacket and hat before joining the woman on the other side of the bed and fell asleep.
Another sip was taken from Julius and he merely relaxed an enjoyed himself, but another had made his way over to him and he continued his drink. He glanced over to the woman at his side and raised an eyebrow as he just listened to what the woman had to say. After what had happened he truly had little doubt that this woman had made any changes, and just her presence annoyed him He might of thought this was some sort of repentance, but she really messed up. If she maybe had come to him thinking he was a nobody then he might of gotten this thought away with it, but the mere fact that she referred to him as Professor Julius when he clearly told her his name was Alistair Geis proved she is only apologizing because of his status as a professor. "whatever" Julius said raising his hand and preforming a shooing wave at her without even looking at her "I appreciate you coming up here and apologizing...now if that will be all you may go. No need to make anything up for me" Julius said calmly as he took another sip of his drink as he continued the shooing wave.
"Hey Julius its been far too long!" The familiar voice reached his ears and a smile crept up his face as he walked up to the counter and took a seat beside it "Yo, long time indeed" Julius said with a grin. Due to how close the bar this was a place he frequented a lot. He wasn't really that much of a heavy drinker, but he still had enough visits to make himself known. "Alrighty...lets start me off with something light...haven't gotten myself still used to drinking my old pace" Julius said. "got it...oh and this pink haired girl said she's gonna pay for anything you ordered" At this point Julius raised an eyebrow at the sudden offer and wondered just why that sounded so strange. "Pink haired girl...." Julius muttered silently before suddenly his eye narrowed as it began to twitch. Slowly he turned his head and noticed the pink haired girl sitting there and whispered "Oh god". Closing his eyes he turned his attention before the bartender before him and sighed "Ah..just ignore her...I'll pay off my own drinks..." Julius said. A chuckle escaped the bartender's face, but he didn't disagree or say another word. As Julius continued to sit at the counter he awaited the drink that was prepared and gripped it once it arrived before him. He was in no rush so he just took the time to enjoy the alcohol before him and merely held the glass in his hand, twirling the ice inside as he lazed around.
The sheer pain was intense and terrible, and just getting out from bed was sheer terror. "Fuck fuck fuck" Julius struggled to say as he fell out of bed and let out a loud groan in pain. "Urrg...why..." Julius said rising up to his feet before heading over to the bathroom. Everything was horrid, but once he got in the shower everything changed, the pain was soothed and Julius closed his eyes as the hot water hit his skin. He spent a great deal in the shower, but eventually he walked out. Rubbing some soothing ointment and getting dressed, Julius was out and ready for the day. Sure there was still pain, but Julius was no wimp in the slightest. He always loved to test himself and he knew the consequences of each action. Making himself some breakfast he was soon off on his computer, checking his emails and getting things ready. He was disappointed that nobody was interested in setting anything up, but it was reasonable and to be honest it didn't bother him that much. With that he began to do what was needed and started his lecture for his classes. It was a long and tedious process but eventually it was over and Julius could only sigh with a smile as he sent out the lecture to the students and moved on to his papers. The grading process began and took another chuck of time, but eventually he was over with that. He leaned against his chair and let out a deep sigh with a smile. He was sort of grateful for these online classes since it meant he could do it at his leisure and didn't have to move as much. He still had time to do something so why not just drown away the pain he felt. A smirk crept across his face as he got out of his house and walked out. Luckily he didn't live too far away from the nearest bar, he walked off, past the Saucy Bottom and finally reached the bar. He walked in with his eyes closed and let out a sigh as he scratched the back of his head lazily.
12Though the woman was quite a pissed off individual, she was also quite the playful person. Of course she would never see him as a person and to him he was always a toy, bu even so she would always be that broken person that could get severely insulted by the mere toy that she owned...if anything the children she owned were probably more mature than even her. He felt the flick on his forehead and as his chin was raised he smirked as he stared down at the woman before him. Truly she was below him. He said his words and after that the children were called forth to do what was needed. The children moved quickly and without a beat, and Alistair could instantly see the fear that the children held of their dear mama Lu. One of the girls had some muscle tissue hanging on his face, and Alistair quickly deduced one thing, that it was human muscle. He was neither disgusted nor appalled by the scene since he was expecting such a scene in Hell as well as his experience as a doctor helped severely. He crossed his arms and listened to the words that Mama Lu had to say and immediately he blinked as he heard what she just said. At first Alistair figured he was going to be more of a dummy for the kids, but surprisingly he was more than just a dummy. Being a teacher sounded weird to Alistair but he easy accepted the task. Did Lu actually care for these kids? he doubted it but he would see soon enough. Despite the whole cannibalism thing they had going on, they were quite adorable in Alistair's eyes and he couldn't help but let out a small chuckle when Lu stated she was ready to start. Walking up to the three children he merely crouched down on one knee to their level and placed his hand on his chin as he stared at the children. He began with a few small tests like checking pulses, breathing and little things. He closed his eyes and smiled as he ruffled the hair of Cal before standing up "Well now, I'd say you kids are growing quite well...good job mama Lu...so then...why don't we head over and start lessons" Alistair said.
Everything hurt like hell. Though the mental pain was now at it's end, it instantly replaced with the immense pain that resulted from the great and epic Extreme Basketball. The two had some dinner and soon enough were off towards hope in hopes for some rest. Tomorrow was going to surely going to be killer as the pain would make itself known, but Julius and Jonathan just did not want to even thing about the hell they would go through next day. "Thanks..Julius" Jonathan calmly said as Julius drove on. This adventure truly kept his mind at ease and though he still thought about the girl, he was at least able to set that thought aside and have fun. Julius made him able to have a great time and when he thought about it he knew he would probably been laying in a ditch by now if he didn't have his brother around. "heh no need to thank me idiot" Julius said as he parked over at the area where Jonathan lived and dropped him off. They always fought, and even more than normal brothers, but those fights just meant they were really close for the two of them. Jonathan was out and off asleep in his bed and Julius returned to his own home where he too fell asleep on his bed.
