Reading Iron Man and one of the lines is, "By Default, optimists make the world, because pessimists never even try." I'm not sure mow much truth there is to that, but just the basic principle of it is something that caught my attention. Any other motivational or moral platitudes you want to share?
You mean to tell me that the guy playing Malekith in Thor 2 was one of the guys who was in Doctor Who? I'm admittedly a little put off now.
Because I do. Partly because my brain is too frazzled to keep track of it in my head, partly because it gives me a visual of where I am collecting-wise and allows me to plan monetarily for what's to come, partly because I want a visual of it for documentation, but mostly because it's so damn fun.

I have this problem where I always seem to have a song stuck in my head. This makes it hard to do things like reading. Anyone else frequently have a song stuck in their head? And by frequently I mean like always. Any advice for people on how to solve this problem? What song is stuck in your head now?
I was exiting (entering?) onto a highway and the exit that I use to get onto the highway is on of those that has an exit directly after it so you have to merge quickly or else you'll be exiting again onto some other road. Anyway, as I was exiting (entering?) there was this van that was right where I was supposed to be, but instead of merging left so the person merging onto the highway (me) can merge, they stayed in the same lane. However they didn't slow down or speed up so I could get in front or behind them, they sped up and then slowed down so they were directly where I needed to be. I had to speed up super fast so I could get into the lane I needed to be in and not be on another exit. If I didn't have any faith in people I would assume they were intentionally trying to run me off the road. Doesn't that just piss you off?

Why is there a "w" in the word, like what the hell? It doesn't do anything. It doesn't contribute. And whoever came up with the idea of putting water in plastic and selling it is a genius.
This movie looks amazing. From the trailer it's pretty obvious what the ideas behind the film are, and I cannot wait to see how they play out on screen, especially with a character as endearing as Steve.

the last episode brought me to tears
So I'm in the middle of season 3 and want to say a few things. I just finished episode 5. Spoiler Skyler. Wow, that is a complex character. But I hate her. I hate her so much. The problem is though, is that I don't blame her for most of the stuff she does. I can totally buy an actual person reacting in the way she does. Now, there are some communication problem between her and Walter (there have been multiple times where I've wanted to shout, "JUST TELL HER WHAT YOU TOLD THIS PERSON AND EVERYTHING WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER"), and she is not very understanding, but what she does is understandable. However there are some things that I find inexcusable, such as sleeping with Ted and telling Walter about it. I get what she's trying to do, but wow what a *****. and btw, fuck you lawyer lady you don't know shit Gus is amazing. Jesse is so tragic. There were a couple scenes where it was just too sad, like the one where he breaks down in tears in Walter's arms. I don't understand why Walter signed the divorce papers. I'm conjecturing that it has to do with the speech Gus gave to him a few scenes before, but I'm not sure what provoked him into actually signing them, considering the scene before it was Skyler allowing him to hold Holly at dinner, which was the first semblance of a happy family they have had in a long time. I may find out later on, but right now I feel that's something they didn't emphasize or make clear enough in this episode. I don't have much to say about Hank, but I love how the character has progressed and everything he is going through. There are a lot of parallels being drawn between characters and situations in all kinds of intricate ways. I don't know what else to say except,
