Eva turned to look at the games too, finding a few that were interesting. She wrote their names down in her phone on a memo to look into some more and eventually, she met back up with Terry. "Hey, uh, find what you came here for?" she asked.
"Well that's a name for a season, that's why I asked." Ananta said, chuckling. "Didn't know you had siblings, though....makes me wonder what she looks like." Ananta mumbled the last part, staring at Steel. Aux returned with some keys and she blinked at him, processing what just happened. "Did you...did you steal...?" she started, shaking her head. "Anyway, um...I know how to drive, but I"m not good since...I drove very very rarely back on my world." she admitted. "So I'm not the best candidate for this. What about you, Aux? Don't know how to drive?"
180 crowns, you say? Well, don't mind if I do... 30 crowns spent on +3 Magic, raising the natural number to 60 150 crowns towards HP raising it to 95 Yeah she needs more HP....80 just ain't cutting it no more. Critical Plus which HAS BEEN EQUIPPED Healing Guard which was NOT equipped MP Gift which was NOT equipped and was supposed to already be learned, woops. All my AP is spent, woo. What's this? 3 keyblades away from a new achievement? Time to spend some munny.... Bought the following keyblades: JUngle King and Elementary. Ananta now has 805 munny. Now she needs 1 more keyblade to get that achievement (Cries)
so the forum won't change from xenforo, it'll just change server hosts, right? because i really like xenforo's style...
"Oh what fixed it? The Mark of Mastery?" she asked, tilting her head. She then heard him say her and that perked her up. "Who's her? I mean, who is she?" Ananta asked, not sure if she missed a name somewhere.
"Does that explain the sudden rain when I uncovered your scarf and mask?" she asked, referencing that a long time ago. "I thought that was weird, but...it ended after 10 minutes, just as you said. Will that happen ever again or what?" She chuckled, thinking about that. "Sleeting doesn't sound very fun. At least, not sleet all the time."
"Well, what's the whole called? Do you know?" she asked, finishing off her ice cream and finding her stick didn't say winner. She sighed and tossed it in the trash, giving up on finding a winner today. She used a napkin she got from the ice cream stand to wipe her face and tossed it as well, looking back at Steel. "What's your world like, anyway?" she asked, not sure if that was a little out there to just suddenly ask that. "Mine was either cold or warm, no in between." she shrugged.
"Well how did that happen? People aren't usually born that way." she said, being brought out of her own thoughts. "I know I'm prying, but I want to know more about you Steel. I promise I'll answer any questions you have of me later." She then thought of the way he worded it and calling it a magical reactor made her think. "Magical reactor kind of makes me think of...this. "she said, pulling her crystal out of her vest. The chain it was on was sturdy and the crystal was smoothed out. It wasn't as jagged as it used to be and it was probably due to the recent events. It had a faint glow to it, with a blue core and purple specks inside of it. "Would you call it the same?" she asked.
For a moment, Ananta was waiting on Steel to reply and she remembered something she had forgotten. She looked down at the hand she put the SOS ring on and saw a small ring on her finger next to the SOS ring. "Wait, what..." she mumbled, gazing at the ring. She saw there were words written in old writing from her world. The words wrote out as a promise she agreed to with a man. Realization hit and she bit down hard on her ice cream. She had completely forgotten about her promise and she felt hear eyes water a little. She wiped the tears away and sighed to herself. How could she forget something like that? This was a promise made long ago...sure she was being forced into it, but she could at least give the guy a chance. The only problem she had now was trying to remember his name, but she looked to Steel, still awaiting his response. (31/31)
"Eh? A couple different names?" she stopped licking her ice cream, wondering what the heck that meant. She sighed and went right back to the ice cream, looking at Steel and trying to figure out what he meant. "Maybe I ought to ask something else." she said. "Maybe, um...maybe you could start by letting me know what's up with the black...miasma fog...smoke...stuff?" she always knew it was there, but she kind of forgot about it. "I mean, why'd it change your eye color?" (30/31)
Ananta finished her ice cream and looked at the stick. She wasn't a winner. She sighed and turned back to the ice cream stand, buying two more. She heard Steel talk, so she returned with one for him. She extended the ice cream to him and was already licking on hers. "If yours says winner, you get something. Dunno what it is, though." she shrugged. "Probably another ice cream." She looked at Steel and decided to at least ask him one question that'd been bothering her. "This one has been bothering me awhile, but I've been wondering...." she looked down for a second and gathered some strength to ask. "I have a feeling Steel isn't really your actual name...? I mean, that's the case on my world, we don't usually name people after metals....What I'm asking is if you have another name you go by? Or like...your full name, if you want me to put it bluntly." Ananta was halfway done with her ice cream when she noticed Steel was lost in thought. Honestly, there was very little she knew about him, but she still knew that maybe he didn't want to talk about it. Then again, perhaps she could at least ask him about a couple of things, so long as she was careful where she tread. For the moment, though, she was content with her ice cream. She even considered perhaps purchasing another since this one was so delicious. "Memories... " she muttered, wondering about her own thoughts. (28/31)
Ananta stepped towards the ice cream shop and ordered the previously mentioned ice cream. She took one good lick of it and made a face at the saltiness of it. The sweet came out just seconds later and she was intrigued by the odd combination. She licked it some more and turned to the others. "Hey, this is actually really good? You guys should try it! Hard to explain, but it's a weird mixture of salty and sweet that just...works." she said, going back to licking hers. (27/31)
Ananta halfway listened to the conversation, but stopped listening when they mentioned just setting their gliders on the water and sailing away. Of all the gliders there, her own was probably the only one that could work on the water. Everyone was lost in ice cream land when Ananta spoke up. "Um, guys...my glider can probably sail on the water for real compared to...any of yours." she pointed out. "Mine has a sail on it, ya know?" She pointed out. The topic of ice cream flavors came to mind and Ananta looked at the trio next to her. "I hear there's sea salt ice cream. It's supposed to taste really good." she suggested. (26/31)
"Yeah, it definitely was special. I miss it, kind of....good memories made there." she chuckled. At least Steel finally spoke up after a long thought about what she'd said. Kaida started going off about boats and how she hated them. Ananta didn't like it either, but it didn't hurt trying a boat again. Stratos suggested to procure some and getting some ice cream again. "That's a safe place to start." Ananta nodded. She turned to Kaida and called after her. "We're going to get ice cream!" she said, looking at Stratos and nodding for him to follow her. (25/31)
"Yen Sid..." Ananta repeated. She remembered what happened and she immediately gave herself a hug. "I don't want to talk about Yen Sid, please. Bad times..." She sighed and thought about the barrier situation and that reminded her of her own world. "That's crazy to be talking about barriers. I thought my world had one, but obviously that was untrue...but from what I understood, Central Haven did have a strong one from the small time being there. I wonder how things happened....maybe it was and inside job?" she suggested. (24/31)
"I guess I"m lucky I had a Master, huh?" Ananta chuckled. "Even if she didn't teach me everything, I learned a lot...you didn't get that opportunity, did you Stratos?" she asked. "And well, you're right about that. We've gotta figure out a way to get on to the other worlds, but they probably won't let us in...." She looked up at the sky. "But you know, I think we can get back there if we really tried." she said. (23/31)
Ananta looked at Stratos and was a little confused how he didn't know about the keyholes. "Well, locking them is a way of sealing the heart of the worlds for awhile. They won't get unlocked unless somebody with a strong darkness comes along and tries to unlock it...I think. Either way, locking it is only a bandaid." Ananta started. "There's no sure-fire way of knowing how long it takes, but I know from experience, it's not permanent." (22/31)
"I don't know about you guys, but I think they're a natural part of this world...not some out of world thing." Ananta commented. "And the worlds have been like this for awhile...I swear I've seen heartless before this, but I may be wrong." she shrugged. "Oh and uh...I haven't had my armor since the realm of darkness, so don't expect me to magically make it appear either. I guess my journey through that place after that scientist trapped me in a cage had some effects on me." She crossed her arms. (21/31)
Ananta listened to Kaida explain the worlds and their hearts and their barriers. Eventually, Stratos brought up armor and Ananta tilted her head. Kaida seemed surprised and Ananta started off with a, "Uuuhhhh...." raising her hand. "I've always used my armor? I've had it since I left my homeworld. But it comes when I jump onto my glider...so...um...it's automatic?" She shrugged and looked at Kaida. "I can't speak for the rest, sadly. But I know I've worn my armor." (20/31)
