Vexen was about to portal to the kitchen when she heard some loud commotion coming from her lab. She quickly portalled there hoping that Marluxia or one of the other members was not trying to make some other strange mixture. The scientist followed the sound to her room. As she opened the door and peered in a giant ball of her undergarments hit her right in the face. "What the hell?!" She looked into the room to find toddler Luxord with... toddler Marluxia?! "What happened? Why aren't you bigger?" She looked to Luxord, and then turned to Marluxia. "And why are you small?" Then she looked around her entire room and paused. "And what have you done to my room?!" The entire room was a mess of clothes and things on the floor. She took the angry mom stance and began tapping her foot. "Well?" ----------------- OoC: You guys are cracking me up!!!!!! XD
Hot steam rose in the shower, as Vexen bathed herself. She had enjoyed her time at the beach, but figured that she might want to come back and check to make sure that her reversal mix had worked correctly. She had not tested it before, so despite her certainty that it would work, she was not 100% sure. After dressing herself in a light summer dress, Vexen fixed her hair and portalled into one of the many halls of the castle. She did not know where anyone was, so she figured she would look for them.
oh my. ive been too shy to let my real emotions for you be seen... but now, i think the time is right. mari... ex-kairi... i love you more than the moon loves the sun (?), more than the sky loves the stars, more than sora loves korniness... and i will do this despite the fact that i am already a broom with PoH... *kneels down on one knee and pulls out a plastic ring* WILL YOU MARRY ME, MARI?!
I am very much in agreement with you, Hissora. I can't stand when people hunt for sport or personal gain. The only excuse I can see for hunting is for eating. Our society needs to become more aware of the damage we cause every day to the animals and our environment. We seem to overlook the fact that we all coexist and are interdependant. This is definitely something that should be more concentrated on.
Vexen found herself at the ocean on an empty beach. She breathed in the fresh salty air and sat on the sand. Her mind raced with thoughts of Marluxia, but she figured she would just enjoy herself now and then go back to find the flower boy and make sure he was alright. After a few moments, she felt the effects of the bruning sun; she was sweating and extemely hot. "I need a nice, cool dip!" Looking around, she made sure no one was around. She was on a deserted island as far as she was concerned. Stripping off her clothing, she ran towards the shore and emersed herself in the waves. She had not had such a relaxing experience for a long time. "I'll get back to the castle eventually." She continued to enjoy herself in the water, letting it drown out her worries and thoughts.
Vexen chuckled. "Well, I'm glad I could help." She realized that everything here was going to be alright. "Well, I'll leave the box with you guys in case you need it. But I have to go... finish some work." Before anyone was able to speak, she opened a portal and walked away. In truth, Vexen wanted to be alone to think over the past day's events. What Marluxia had told her had her very worried, but she did not want to force the man to confess anything to her about his experience with this dark force. She only hoped that he would come to her if he was in need of help. The scientist sighed. "There is no use in getting worked up over this when I am powerless to do anything." She found herself walking one of the empty halls of the castle. Stopping, she looked around. "I need to get out of here." And that is exactly what she did. --------------------- OoC: Last post for tonight. I'm tired.
do you realize that someone had taken the name kairi now? thats going to cause even more confusion!... atleast ill get use to your new name quickly through the RP.
Vexen rounded up the children, as difficult as Xigbar and Luxord made it. She placed them all in front of Axel, telling them that they would be back to normal now. She had to endure some wails from Xigbar about ice cream, but she managed. "Alright, now we just need to feed them the candies and the problem is solved. Keep in mind that the reversal effect may happen instantly, or could take a few minutes."
"Oh, yes! Of course." Vexen handed the box to Axel. She then made her way towards Demyx, who did not seem very happy. "Hey, Demy! Guess what? I have the candies to make you all better!" She picked up the young child. She kind of liked him this way, even though she knew that a child was the last thing the organization needed.
Vexen realized how suddenly Marluxia changed the subject, but she pretended not to. She herself wanted the subject changed. "Yeah, I'm pretty hungry. Let me get the reversal candies I made and we can head to the kitchen." Vexen stood up, her face riddled with doubts and concerns. Still, she managed to smile at Marluxia as she headed out and picked up her box of candies. Then, she opened a portal and both nobodies made their way to the kitchen. Once there, they met up with Axel, who seemed to have his hands full with three little members.
the beauty of childhood. i didnt realize how i just let it all get away, and so suddenly, too. i miss it. *sniff*
"What are you talking about?" The scientist was really worried now. She was not going to abandon Marluxia in his time of need. "Why don't you let me help you? I'm sure that whatever is hurting you or controlling you, I can figure it all out and get rid of it." Vexen was unaware how out of her hands the situation was. All she had were her lab tools and knowledge, but it would take a lot more than that to fight off Marluxia's problem. The blonde wanted to take her pink haired friend into her arms and never let him go. But she did not. Instead, she stood up and sat on a chair on the other side of the room. She was troubled. "Talk to me, Marluxia."
"Well." The scientist looked at the flower man and sighed. "I myself am unsure, but this is what I do know. It seems as though you fed Demyx, and maybe Xigbar and Luxord some strange candies that caused them to de-age." Moving her hair out of her face, Vexen continued. "Then, as far as I know, you screamed for help and I found you on the floor. I had to drag you here when you passed out. I looked at your stats and you seem fine. I'm not sure what happened to you exactly." Vexen looked away, blushing. She pondered whether she should add their love confessions, but she was shy and did not. "Luckily," she looked back to him and smiled, "I've been able to find a reversal mix and I have it ready to hand out." She stood up. "I really should go find everyone who needs it so that everything will go back to normal." Vexen was worried about Marluxia's behavior, but did not bring this fact to light, hoping he would do that himself. ----------------------- OoC: I've got to go walk my dog right now, but I will be back later.
I was going to add Jimi Hendrix... but I'm not that into his music (not saying its bad, just saying its not my fave). He was extremely talented, though. And I think that I've only heard one song from Eric Clapton a long time ago and I don't remember it.... so I don't know about his skill. My dad likes him, though, and my dad knows good music so I guess thats good.
Vexen placed her last candy in a pack and placed the lid on it. She had finished the reversal mixture, placing it on the edge of her lab table. I should get these to Axel soon, and then find Xigbar and Luxord. I hope no one else was turned into a child. She sighed, walking back to her room where she found Marluxia, fully awake and in a normal state of mind. "Marluxia?" She walked over and sat on the bed next to the flower man. "You're awake and alright!" She hugged the man, a mile-long smile running across her face. "I'm so glad!"
Vexen's eyes fluttered open as the new day began. Her body was finally relaxed, even though she had slept for only five hours. Stretching in her bed like a cat, she turned around to see Marluxia, whose face was contorted in worry. Vexen frowned. The flower was sweaty, as if he had been struggling against something. Quickly getting up and checking his stats, Vexen could not see anything wrong with the man, save a few high neuronal impulses throughout the night, though those could mean anything. Yawning, the scientist went to her bathroom and took care of her basic needs, taking a quick shower and slipping on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. She brought an ice pack out and laid it on Marluxia's forehead. Then, grabbing the candies she had stored the night before, she walked out into her lab and began her research. Fortunately, she realized that the reversal mix would be easy to make. ------------------------ OoC: Meh.... I've only had four hours of sleep... I'm tired. Edit: ... did I say 4 hours of sleep? I meant 3. I think I'm going to go taken a nap.
tv series? nah, they could never pull it off with the style and awesomeness of the movie.
start a revolution to undo the injustice!! what would you do if you lost all your fingers in a terrible fishing accident and could no longer type?
Vexen gave over Demyx to Axel, accepting the bag of candies in return. She looked at the two and realized for the first time just how much they cared for one another. Maybe sharing her feelings with Marluxia opened a whole new emotional assortment within her. "I will work my hardest, and I am sure that I will find a way to bring things to normal soon." She patted Demyx's back once more, lightly kissing his little cheek. Then, she walked back into her room, set the candies in her night table drawer, and laid beside the still sleeping Marluxia. She breathed in his warm scent and listened to his steadied breathing. Finally, Vexen fell asleep with a smile on her face. ----------------------- OoC: Goodnight, everyone. I am off to bed!
"I'm so sorry about that." Vexen was referring to the man's injury. She sighed, looking down at the toddler in her arms. "You're going to be alright, huh, Demyx?" Vexen smiled at the child, then turned to Axel. "Do you think that you two could go off to sleep right now? It's really much too late to be working. If you guys allow me to sleep then I can work on a way to reverse this problem in a better state of mind." The scientist glanced at the giant clock on the lab wall. It read 3:05 A.M. She rubbed her eyes with her free hand and looked to her bundle.' "You wouldn't mind waiting a night for me to fix the problem, would you?" She waited expectantly for a reply from either Axel or Demyx.
