As the title says... for next few weeks or so, I will not be on as much... Only on Fridays and for the rest of the weekend. Why is this? 1). My parents want me to start right away in the new school. 2). They don't have internet access in the hotel rooms or in the house I'm going to staying in (basically board with another family when either one of my parents can't stay in a hotel). 3). Once we finally pick a house and move in, it's going to take a while to set up the internet there. Plus, I don't even know if I am going to get on when I can. I don't know if they're going to give me loads of homework, or if my parents will want to spend some quality time with me. (Meaning I won't be able to get on the computer.) Also, this means I won't be able to get on IM, or even get on the telephone and talk to a few of my good buddies till the weekend. This can all change, but I have a feeling this is how it's going to be for a while... Starting on Sunday, I won't be on as much... :cryinganime: I'm so going to miss you guys, but I'll try to talk you when I finally get on the internet again. Until then... later!
Okay, I'll lay down the basics... I just started homeschool a few months ago, and it's an online homeschool. Everything was okay, and I loved doing it at first, but then things started to drop slowly. My parents were kind of busy and didn't monitor me as much, so I felt more freedom to goof around. Like I would go to other websites instead of the school website and I didn't work on my school work. Last quarter kind of ended in a disaster because of my lack in motivation... My parents were super upset with me and constantly nagging on me, telling me to get A's and do a whole lot better. I don't want that to happen again... So... I had the motivation to do better this quarter, and I was doing great. I had A's in all my classes, and I felt pretty confident in myself for once. Then I started to goof off once again... so my grades are dropping bit by bit again. Argh, I want that motivation I had a while ago back, but I don't know what to do. I get easily distracted, but I don't think I have ADHD... And I'm basically coaching myself in homeschool because my parents are kind of busy, but I don't want to go back up to the public school.... Anybody have any helpful tips to get motivation to do hard things?
So I was looking around the odd news on yahoo.com, when I found this little article. Gees, poor guy. He was just trying to help his kids with a school project. o.o Any thoughts or comments on this? XD
Seriously! It was kind of suspecious and creepy... So I was visiting at my cousin's house today, and then it was time for me to head back home. When I walked outside, there was a guy standing not too far away from my aunts yard, just staring out into space. I really didn't think much about it, so I started heading home. Then when I got close enough, he started to walk with me on the other side of the street right along side me. The streets are pretty narrow, so he started talking to me and tried to make conversation. I started getting the bad gut feeling that told me something wasn't right here... He asked me questions like, was I going to school, how I was doing... *shudders* Then I discovered he had a fear of dogs, because an old dog named Annie was outside of her house and started barking at us, and he was asking me if Annie was going to attack us... I sayed no, but I took this as a chance because it was the sheriff's house. So I decided to dely myself and pay attention to Annie and pet her while making sure the guy walked further ahead. Well the dude that was walking with me started to walk slower, like he was waiting for me or something. Then when I thought he was far enough, I started walking as slow as I could and made sure he was in front of me. But then he walked even more slower. Okay, so it has a happy ending. A girl that I knew from church saw me and this guy walking. So then she pulled over and offered me a ride, which I accepted. Then when I turned my head to see where the guy was, Zipper (another neighborhood dog) had the guy frozen in his tracks. XD And this was suspicious for the following reasons: 1. He told me he was from out of town. 2. I live in a neighborhood where it's away from the tourism in this town, and I wouldn't see any reason why he would be up in our neighborhood alone. o.o; So there's my long epic post of a stalker story. (Based on the Maximum Ride book series. This is not going to strictly follow the story line, just the drift of it. Yes, I am using places from the book for the RP setting, but not the original characters. You do not have to know the book series to join the RP. I did major tweaks to the original storyline so it can fit as an RP for all of us to enjoy.) “The human race is never satisfied with the way things are. That’s where science took root. And that’s how we were born.” _____________ Prologue We’re not normal, let me tell you that now. We were created by the hands of insane scientists (We call them White Coats). They wanted to open new doors, make new paths, turn around Mother Nature, blah, blah, blah, the list just continues folks. We were stolen from our family as newborns still in the hospital. Some of us anyways... Others have been given up for the cause of science. How sick is that? Anyways, these White Coats from this organization called Itex found a way to graph animal DNA into humans. Don’t believe it? Take a good look at us. I would go into details of how this worked if I wanted to, but that would give us really bad headaches. Only a few of us survived the tortures of The School. That’s what we call the science lab. We were raised there for almost all of our lives. All of us who lived through the experiments turned out to be mutant freaks. All of us have two percent of a certain animal, and the ninety eight percent remained human. As a plus, we had a few nifty abilities to go with our new looks. Like super hero stuff. As the years went by, we got a little too smart for our own good. We knew that this wasn’t the life we wanted to live; to be locked up in The School, and let the White Coats do countless experiments on us. Some of those horrible tests gave very few of us really pleasant side effects, which I don’t want to describe. I was one of the lucky ones. We had to get out, and so, we made an escape plan. And of course, we busted out of there. We’re not free however, not yet. The White Coats want us back, or want us dead. I’m not sure which yet. We’re on the run, trying to survive and live another day. But Itex can easily replace us. They will just kidnap more kids all around the globe, and create more monstrosities for their own evil uses. They are one big science lab you know, and we’re just a handful of kids. I know that they need to be stopped once and for all, but saving the world is one extreme ome people can’t grip. So here’s my question to you: Can you handle saving the world?__________________ Rules! Obey or DIE! @-@ 1. No powerplaying, godmodding, all those annoying things. It’s INFURIATING! *coughs* Or… pointless. 2. Only hugging, kisses on lips and cheeks, and holding hands romance allowed! Anything above that, and thou shalt face my wrath… o.o 3. Try to stay active. ‘Tis annoying when somebody suddenly stops RPing without warning. Send me a heads up if you’re going to be gone or if you’re going to be busy. If your character dies and you made three, the one that died doesn’t count against your list, and you can make another character to replace the deceased one. 9. Try not to get too far ahead while I’m gone. It’s frustrating as the owner to catch up to people. And if somebody asks for a recap, if you know what’s going on, please give them one. 10. Respect everybody… RESPECT THEM! XD 11. At least three sentences per post. I can understand writer blocks, but one liners constantly are just simply annoying! D8 12. This is a semi- lit RP. No *star things* for actions. 13. Woooots, rule thirteen! 14. YOU MAY HAVE THREE POWERS NOW! XD _______________________ List of different kinds of experiments: Lupines (Nickname: Erasers) - These guys are half wolf and half human. They appear as a harmless human, and look exactly like them, so they can easily blend in with the crowd. Then in a blink of an eye, they can transform into a wolf like creature. Erasers look like werewolves, but they’re not. They’re bred to kill, and to hunt down escaped experiments. Erasers have a short life span however, and won’t last as long. Only a handful got out of the urge lust to hunt and kill, and have escaped with the other experiments on the run. Avian (Nickname: Angels/Flighted) - Only a few of these came out successful. They have bird wings graphed on their back to fit their human size. They also have a good sense of direction and always know where they’re going, kind of like a compass. However, their bones are like birds, so they can’t carry very much with them while flying. And after a long flight, they need a huge meal to boost their energy back up. They can also fold their wings safely under their shirt while in pubic places, and kick serious butt if they get in a tight situation. Felines (Nickname: Bolts) - Same as Erasers, but these guys are more nimble and quick, hence the name of the experiment. They are not trained to kill and hunt, but they are trained to spy and defend themselves when it is necessary. Bolts can appear as human, so they can blend in with the other normal people. Some of the experiments didn’t go completely right though, so some of them have cat parts showing and there’s nothing they can do about it (Ears, tail, maybe fur, and a slim chance of having paws for hands). They have a reflex of a cat, and can climb up almost anything they want. Laurasiatheria: (Nickname: Gliders)- Like bats, these guys have leather like wings on their arms (looks weird, but yeah… o.o;). Unlike the Avians, these guys can fly just a little, but they have to mostly glide. Gliders also have excellent hearing and of course, have the sonar like normal bats. Their eyesight is a little dim, but thanks to science, it’s not as bad as the normal bat’s eyes. And of course, Gliders can blend easily with the human race and bring out their wicked, awesome glider wings if they need them any time they want. (Two of these, I made up myself… ._. If you have more ideas on what other kind of experiments I could add, fill me in, PLEASE! D8 But no fantasy stuff (dragons, fairies, etc)… try to stay in the lines of an evil scientist.) __________________________ Notes about some other things to know about: Itex- A big, gianormous scientific organization. Their labs are scattered all around the world, and nobody can find them. They’re all hidden away from everyone, so no one can find them as easily. They do as they please, and conduct the most bizarre testing ever in the history of mankind. If they don’t like something or something doesn’t meet their standards, the experiment is scratched out of reality and they start over again. The Bad Side: Consists of White Coats and those experiments who want to side with them. They have wits, brawl, and the best training anyone can offer. If someone is interfering with their plans, or things aren’t turning out they way they want it, they can almost easily take care of it. The experiments are in charge of doing the work while the White Coats sit back and take a few notes until their creations return. Those who are mutant freaks on the bad side can ask White Coats for updates in their physical attributes (wings, better eyesight, super strength, etc.) But the White Coats can’t always promise a perfect result. The Good Side: You have the hard-knock life. This group consists of escaped experiments and maybe a handful of scientists who are appalled with what’s happening at Itex. This side is always on the run, and always in hiding until they can figure out how to get past the baddy experiments and tare down Itex once and for all. They have to stick together as a team, and teach each other how to survive the cold, cruel world. How long are you going to last? Flyboys: (will come in much, much later) These are a group of robots who can adapt to anything, and get the scientists jobs done faster. They’re only sent out if the scientists are loosing valuable time and want the job done quickly. He is stronger, better, faster, feircer, and hungrier then his predescendants. He has grown attached to some of the avians and tries not to morph in public. He is a leader of a pack of 13. He is the biggest of his group, the strongest, and the smartest. He is one of the few lupines to have a succesful hybridization of avian/lupine/human DNA, Giving him wings. He has a sense of humor. Special Abilities: Extremely intelligent, and he can read minds that are within 30 yards away. Appearance: non-morphed: FULLY morphed: Side: bad....conflicted. Other: Obeys orders and is an excellent melee fighter. 4. Username: Friendly_Heartless Name: Ray Age: 15 Type of Experiment: Lupines Bio: Ray always will get the job done, no matter what. He is somewhat blood thirsty, but he can refrain himself most of the time. Has a calm, cool disposition. Special Abilities (for experiments only): Super Human Breath (Ability to inhale/exhale with superhumanly powerful lungs. This can range from exhaling on par with a giant fan's wind current to inhalation on par with the power of a gravitational vortex.) Ecological empathy (The ability to sense the overall well-being and conditions of one's immediate environment and natural setting stemming from a psychic sensitivity to nature.) (As in uses weaknesses to her advantage/ manuvering through the air... ) and can emite a screech that can cause damage to the ears and if loud enough can knock someone out. Due to unnatural experimantation, he basicly is able to go into a beserk mode in which like his hearing, all of his other senses increase just as much, including his own natural strength, as well as improved agility and flexibility. Author's Note: This is a story I've been working on for months. I finally got the courage to post it on here. Note that the title is just a temporary title until I come up with something else in the future. And you might noticed in some parts in the prologue, that some things may look like I'm referring it to Lord of the Rings, but I'm not. I started working on this waaaaay before I saw those movies. Trust me. :D And also, some parts might seem a little.... *coughs* Cheesy... but that's someimes my writing style. And yes, I am aware that there's a ton of grammer errors in there. Okay! Without further adu, the start of the story! Prologue Darkness. It was consuming everything in its path from the North, like a plague. Winding through the Shade Mountains like a snake, it was heading to one, hopeless place. The only purpose it truly had was to seek, annihilate, and move on. Its Master created it to be this way, and it didn’t complain. It knew it was only going to be used once, and then it would disappear into useless, used magic. After that, its Master would have to wait for a very long time to regain strength to use it again in the far future. This was fine with the darkness, just as long as it can be used for what it was created for… and that was to kill. **************************************** The air was icy at the Shiloh Academy of Magic. Every professor, student, and apprentice sensed a mysterious storm coming in. Something was going to happen that night. Something dreadful and cruel was slowly creeping in from the west. No matter what it was, it was dangerous and evil and everyone knew that from the deepest part of their soul. The founder of the academy, Shiloh himself, stood by the one of the top floor windows looking at the landscape. His clear blue eyes scanned the horizon. He felt the tension in the air, but surprisingly he was calm. He knew this night was coming for a while now. Many brutal and tremendous things were about to happen. This darkness that was approaching, Shiloh knew it was going to set off the chain of events; like a domino reaction. He gripped the windowsill as he saw a dark, ominous cloud, far away over the mountains. It began surrounding the valley where the Academy stood. “They’re coming,†he whispered. “I can feel it.†Shiloh’s old wrinkled hand reached for the pouch that was tied tightly on his green fabric belt around his waste. The fate of Tamina was lying inside this particular pouch and he knew that he had to protect it at all costs. Even if it means death. “The time is almost at hand, Shiloh,†Shiloh heard on a soft gentle breeze that blew in from the valley. Shiloh nodded and pulled his jade hood over his head. Twilight was at hand, and Shiloh knew that he had to make preparations for the things that were coming, and fast. The heavy, double wooden doors opened without help as Shiloh approached them. His footsteps echoed through the stone hallway as he walked toward the staircase leading downstairs. The candles that lined the hallway ignited without the help of a match as Shiloh walked past them. He then stopped on top of the stairs and stood on a round circle that had a star in the middle of it. He held up his hand in front of him, and then without delay his Light Staff was summoned in his hand. The staff was smooth with a design of a dragon carved down the side of it and a clear glass orb, supported by four pieces of wood carved to look like leaves, was set on top of it. He took the staff, closed his eyes, and then tapped his staff slightly on the star. There was a flash of light, and Shiloh found himself on the first floor. He walked off the star and turned to the doors to the largest assembly room in the academy. The gigantic, well made double doors both opened on telepathist command when Shiloh stood in front of them. Shiloh was then immersed in the sounds that were coming from within. Everyone who attended the academy was there. There were different races of students, teachers, and apprentice’s from all over the world. They came to Shiloh Academy not only to train to be a sorcerer, but to learn how to protect the world of Tamina and all its inhabitants as well. All the students were very well trained, and most of them followed the rules at all times. No one was ever caught using and studying Black Magic, (because, that was against the rules and nobody would dare to go near it anyways), except for the exception of one. Shiloh sucked in his breath. The thought of his ex-apprentice gave him awful and terrifying feelings. He replaced that feeling with something else and walked into the storm of mummers and whispers. As soon as he walked in, everyone suddenly grew silent and they all stood up to show respect to the greatest sorcerer in the entire world. Shiloh walked down the main isle toward the front, with his emerald robe flowing behind him as waves in the sea. All of the people’s eyes were on him. He finally made it to the front of the assembly hall, and turned around to face everyone. That was every person’s cue to have a seat. As soon as everyone was seated, Shiloh let his eyes scanned over the crowd. “All these wonderful people and most of them won’t even be alive after this,†he thought. His vision became blurry with tears of gratitude and love for all of these students. But he didn’t let his mind wonder off for very long. “My good apprentices, teachers, and students,†Shiloh’s voiced boomed. “We knew that this night was coming ever since my ex-apprentice left.†Some people murmured, and others sift nervously in their chairs at the thought of the ex-apprentice. One apprentice, who was in his late teens and a faithful student to Shiloh, felt a burning hate and sadness swell up inside of him. A girl, not much older than he, saw the troubled look in his eyes and gently reached over and squeezed his hand. He looked up and met her golden brown eyes. “It’ll be alright,†she lipped silently to him. He smiled and squeezed her hand tighter. He then reluctantly looked away from her gaze and focused on his Master. Shiloh let his words sink in a little longer before he spoke again. “All of you know that he’s been seeking revenge ever since he was banned. His revenge is now focused on this place and the people inside of it…†Everyone was still. “It is my own fault I didn’t stop this when I first saw the dilemma. And now my mistake is going to cost many lives tonight. And also, it may cost all the lives of the innocent people who are unaware of this threat arising in Tamina.†A couple of tears fell from his eyes, but his voice was still strong and not quivering. “All of you are needed tonight! Everyone’s talents, knowledge, and bravery are needed to help defend ourselves and our future! Who will join me in battle to fight for the cause of Tamina?†Shiloh shouted. Cheers and shouts echoed loudly against the walls of stone. “Who will are willing to give up their lives to save Tamina from who might cause this world to fall into darkness?†The cheers and screams became louder, and everyone was on their feet yelling with all their might. “Then let us all unite as one, and fight for the future of Tamina! Together as the greatest army of all time since the Guardians, we will fight!†Shiloh raised both of arms, and everyone was shouting much, much louder and applauding. Shiloh’s feelings for these people grew inside of him even more then ever. ******************************************** The very best skilled apprentices, teachers, and students were lined up outside the academy. They all felt fear inside of them, for they weren’t sure if Shiloh’s ex-apprentice became stronger since the last time anyone had seen him. Shiloh watched them from a window. It would probably be his last time he would ever see them again. He turned to his new top apprentice, who was waiting by his side for orders. “I want you to take all the rest of the newer students and lead them to safety. I have a feeling that something might happen,†Shiloh spoke. “Yes, Master,†the apprentice said, bowing in respect. He then turned and left Shiloh alone in the room. Suddenly, a cry that sounded like terror echoed through the valley. Shiloh’s head snapped around, and then he saw it… the army. “They’re here,†Shiloh whispered. “They’re here…†All at once, the apprentices, teachers, and students below summoned their staffs and wands. Even though they were well trained, they weren’t prepared for how huge the army was. It was like a big sea wave crashing over the valley, with sounds of battle cries and jeers. Red and black tattered flags were visible throughout the army, and the most hideous weapons gleamed against the moonlight. It wasn’t the weapons the small army of magicians and to-be-sorcerers were afraid of though. Oh no, it was what made up the army. There were black dragons, ogres, goblins, imps, hags, animals that turned to evil, ice monsters, the list was endless. One figure stood back from all of these infected creatures. He was dressed in a sinister robe that was mercilessly shredded around the base, and he wore a well made helmet, that had metal horns coming out the sides of it. It was Shiloh’s ex-apprentice in the flesh. “I’ve sent them to their deaths…†Shiloh miserably said. He gripped the pouch that was tied around his waste. The small army of magicians below began to charge, and so did the other side. Different artificial elements were emitting everywhere hitting the opposite side: lightning, water, bugs, plants, earth, anything that would stop the army. It was a brilliant sight to see, but, to Shiloh’s horror, the enemies’ side also released artificial elements. And they were the forbidden ones… They were ones that gave you the worst curses and agonies that would lead you to a slow and painful death. “They won’t hold out for long,†Shiloh muttered. He turned from the window, and headed down the hallway. Thoughts were racing in his mind. His ex-apprentice had turned from human to demon since the last time he’s seen him. This shattered Shiloh’s heart greatly. He knew that the ex-apprentice was going to slaughter everyone, and leave no one alive. “Hopefully my apprentice evacuated the others,†Shiloh said with anticipation to himself. As soon as Shiloh mentioned his apprentice, a flash of white light appeared at the top of the stairs. The light dispersed, and his apprentice was standing there. He was out of breath, and he looked very shocked. “Master, everyone is-,†the apprentice took in a deep breath, “gone.†“What?†Shiloh was stunned. “Something happened to them, I couldn’t find them. I looked all over.†Shiloh’s heart sank. “How could this happen?†Shiloh asked himself in disbelief. Suddenly the tower rocked violently. Both the apprentice and Shiloh could barely stand up. As soon as the rocking stopped, both he and his apprentice ran toward the closest window and looked down. Elephants and giants were standing around the academy, trying to topple it over. Shiloh knew that his apprentice was going to die if he stayed here. “My apprentice, you need to leave -now,†Shiloh said. “Master, I won’t leave you!†the apprentice declared fearlessly. “Apprentice, someone must stay alive to help guide the prophecy,†Shiloh said. “And that someone is you.†The apprentice stood there, stunned. Him? He was supposed to help the prophecy come true? Another violent quake shook the tower, bringing the apprentice out of his thoughts. “Now go!†Shiloh spoke firmly to his apprentice. His apprentice nodded, and then suddenly gave his master a heart warm hug. Shiloh was surprised. The apprentice then stepped back, releasing his master. He then bowed to Shiloh. “I will always remember you… Master Shiloh.†He stood upright and looked at the old man. The apprentice and the master gazed in each others’ eyes for only a couple of seconds, and then the apprentice broke the stare. He then summoned his Element of Metal Staff, and held it in front of him. He closed his eyes and began to mutter the chant for teleportation. This took any advanced apprentice or sorcerer’s energy away, so it’s used rarely. The spell started to work, and a soft glow emitted of the apprentice. “Good luck, apprentice,†Shiloh said. “I am very proud of you, and I will always remember you as well.†As soon as Shiloh said that, a radiant flash of light appeared, and when it ceased, his apprentice was gone. Even though, his apprentice was gone, Shiloh felt a presence in the room. It was a dark feeling too. Shiloh knew exactly who it was, and he barely had enough time to react. He blocked a bolt of artificial purple lighting with a swipe of his Light Staff, and turned around to face the ex- apprentice. “Hello, ex-Master,†the ex-apprentice said, sounding annoyingly amused. “You look a lot older since the last time I’ve seen you… and weaker.†He stepped out of the shadows and into the moonlight. It was as though, his whole appearance changed since the last few months. Once, he was a handsome young man. Now, he was a monster. He was pale as the moonlight that shone upon him, and he looked extremely gaunt and sickly. His lips were cracked; his eyes glow a crimson color and appeared nothing like human. His long black hair was stringy and it looked extremely greasy. In his hand he held the Staff of Shadows; a staff that was prohibited to use. Shiloh felt anger and regret grow inside of him. But he knew better than to show his emotions when facing an enemy. “You’ve changed also, demon,†Shiloh said with a quiet fierceness. He gripped his light staff tighter. The ex-apprentice let out a terrifying laugh that sent chills down Shiloh’s spine. “Yes, I had changed, old man,†the ex-apprentice said, slowly looking up. His emotions were changing quickly from amusement to hate. “Ever since you’ve banned me from this amateur place, I’ve grown stronger in the black magic which you have scornfully hated…†With a blink of an eye, the ex-apprentice disappeared. To his lament, Shiloh was astonished. “Where is that pathetic excuse of a true sorcerer,†Shiloh thought in his mind. “I’ve grown more power since I left,†Shiloh heard whispered in his right ear. Shiloh stood there, waiting for the right moments to come. “More powerful than ever imagined… I can do things that only some thought of hoping to achieve but died in vain trying. Nothing stands in my way… nothing, except one mere stone, and I know you have it.†It was now Shiloh’s turn to act. Shiloh swiped around, with an artificial light element attack. He hit his apprentice dead on in the chest. Instead of staggering backwards in shock, the ex-apprentice stood there and flashed Shiloh an evil grin, suddenly disappearing again. Shiloh swiped behind him, but nothing was there. Suddenly, and invisible force hit him in the back hard. Shiloh clenched his teeth in pain. He was then hit in the chest with the same force, and then his arm, which he held his staff, suddenly began to feel as though it was on fire. Shiloh willed himself not to cry out in agony, and dropped his staff. He was then hit with a series of vital blows. He was being strike so much Shiloh lost his ability to think. He was then finally thrown against the stone wall, and he crumpled to the floor. His took in deep, painful breaths. Shiloh never had been in this much pain in a long time. He willed himself to get up, but he didn’t have enough strength to. “Fool!†the ex-apprentice appeared in front of Shiloh. He then started chuckling wickedly. “You really think Light can outmatch Darkness? You’re a naïve old man.†He then held up his hand in front of Shiloh and started flexing it in random twists and turns. Shiloh felt a horrible pain in his chest and gasped, but then realizing that he couldn’t breath. He then clutched his chest with his unburned arm, as the pain made it feel like his chest was collapsing. “Give me the stone, and I might spare your life,†the ex-apprentice seethed. “The stone, Shiloh!†a whispered voice pleaded inside the sorcerer’s head, “Summon the stone to the world now!†Shiloh inhaled in as much oxygen as he could. With his burned arm, he reached for the stone lied within the pouch. Silently, he began to do the advanced teleportation spell, the ex-apprentice being unaware what was going on. As soon as Shiloh brought out the stone, Shiloh gasped the last words, and the stone vanished in a blinding light. “Well,†the ex-apprentice said calmly as he could, “I guess you have sealed your fate then…†He grabbed Shiloh’s robe and hefted him up with ease, and slammed his body against the wall. Shiloh closed his eyes tightly, and then opened to stare coldly into his ex-apprentice’s eyes. Thebanned student chortled as the sides of his mouth twitched upwards. “I’ll be waiting for them when they come,†the ex-apprentice whispered harshly in Shiloh’s ear. There was the sound of death, and then there was darkness… _________________________________________ Woo hoo! Very long prologue I admit. xP Feel free to critic and what not. Okay, if this thread has already been made, it can be deleted. I searched, but probably not hard enough and I didn't see this around.... ANYWAYS...... When Roxas was fighting Sora in the World That Never Was, he said some things to Sora I ignored at first. But now with the new Kingdom Heart games coming out and such, I payed closer attention to it. At one point, during their small battle, Roxas said to Sora, "Tell me... tell me why he chose you." Then after a while, Roxas said, "I see... that's why." ... I'm very confuzzled. It probably doesn't have any meaning what so ever, but I'm just curious. Who was Roxas talking about? Who chose Sora? DiZ, Riku, Terra maybe or maybe somebody completely different? Any thoughts or explanations on this?

I was hesitant to post this because I'm one of those people who try to work things out themselves until they can't take it anymore. And this is the one where I can't take it anymore... This is all my feelings that I bottled up for so long, so please try to understand me. Sorry for the long rant of emotions.... This happened about two months ago, three days after my birthday. Okay, so it all started out when I was doing my homeschool in my dad's office AKA our old house. He always keeps the door wide open to his room where he works so it's only natural I listen to his telephone conversations sometimes. And then I caught on to one bit of the conversation that made me very scared. He said to a certain somebody, "Sorry I can't come to the meeting, there's been a death in the family." Some things I need to explain before I go on. I love one of my cousins a ton. His name is Corey and he has a ton of health problems but I love him like my brother. He was confined in a wheel chair but he was still pretty independent. He use to give me big crushing bear hugs when I was little and then we would talk to each other at family reunions and such. The only way I could talk to him was through instant messaging because we lived miles apart and we both were shy to talk on the phone. He was like waaaaaay older then me, but we would talk about Naruto and Bleach all the time and how were were doing, stuff like that... Anyways, I got really scared when I heard that little bit of the conversation. I was so hoping it wasn't Corey and I thought about how he didn't logged on MSN messaging for a few days. I was wondering if my parents were going to tell me anything about the death, but they didn't. It was like they were trying to protect me. And so I started putting clues together. When we had prayer as a family, it was my mom's turn and my dad asked her to bless Boyd's family (Corey's dad). She didn't say anything about it at all, so I was left to wonder who it was. So on Sunday, when we were ready to go to church, it was my dad's turn to pray. I was content and happy because I had no idea what was going on. My dad started praying and I can't remember what he said exactly, but he said something about Corey being in a better place and he wouldn't be in pain anymore. That shattered my heart and I was mortified. My dad told me that my mom wanted to keep it a secret from me, and my mother was upset of how my dad approached it to tell me. Most of all, I was very angry that they didn't tell me ahead of time and so sadness and hurt mixed in with my mourning over Corey. I didn't go to church that day, and I locked myself in my room and cried all day. Here I am, many weeks later after this, and I still feel sad and hurt. Every time I see Corey's name on IM I would start crying and crying hard. Since my parents are very worried about me, I learned to mask my emotions for their sake... I want to be happy and I already know he's happy where he's at now, but it's just so hard to get over it. I am a very sensitive person. Do you guys have any advice for me of how to recover? Am I suppose to feel this way after so long?....
