Laulite gasped in pain. He fell off his chair, onto the floor, clutching his head. He dropped the necklace and it fell beside his head. His eyes bleared as tears formed in his eyes. Words and images filled his head, to the point Lin almost couldn't take it anymore. It seemed like eternity for the pain to stop, but Laulite wasn't thinking about that, he wasn't thinking about anything, but the pain and the knowledge that is being given to him.
Tell me about it.
OOC: lol, it is ok, I was just making sure before I posted. ^^ BIC: Laulite realized he had a candy in his mouth. "Oh. I didn't realize I stuck on in my mouth." He smiled, "I will do what you ask, but later, I want to know how you know I have a candy in my mouth." He focused on the sweet flavor of the hard candy. It does taste good. Like ice cream. There is an ice cream store at the mall. I should go there one da- "Oops." Lin had realized he had not been focusing. "Let me try that again." The other candy had already dissolved, so he put another in his mouth. This one tastes like a blueberry. It is sweet. Lin started to only focus on the candy, and nothing else.
OOC: Um...Kain? Don't you mean my character, Laulite? Because he is the one with the candy in his mouth.
Xandor could see every detail of her face. She is so pretty. Time seemed to stop, but the music kept playing. Xandor only seemed to notice Nicole, which was his whole world at the moment. Nothing else mattered. He smiled.
and eat cookies!!!!! *eats a cookie* Also we fight badgers, because sometimes they invade. ........ ^^
"Rob seemed okay to me." Then again, I don't talk to that many people. "I am intrigued by what you are saying, thought it will be hard for me to empty my mind." He popped another candy into his mouth and sat on his computer chair with his feet up. He spun around a couple times, just for fun, still clutching the necklace. Lin went like this for a moment then he stopped by putting his feet down. "I am trying to empty my mind. It is not working. I keep thinking about unnecessary things." OOC: Sorry it took me so long to respond. I was watching tv. In other words, I got side tracked. Oops. ^^
Laulite laughed. "Yes. Trust a voice who doesn't give me a name. Sure." He smiled widely and popped a candy into his mouth, "Okay, help me. Tell me what I want to know. Tell me how to use the stones, if this is all real, that is." Lin did not seem bothered that he seemed to be talking to himself.
Philippe collapsed onto the floor, "Okay, now it HURTS!" He tried to glare at Jecht, but his eye hurt too much. "Can you make it stop?"
Laulite jumped up. "What?" He looked around the room, but nobody was there, "Who is speaking?"
Laulite suddenly remembered something. That girl...Lilly...she was also talking with Rob! Does that mean she has stones too? Maybe she could tell me more about what Rob was talking about. He was about to go look up her phone number, when he realized that she may not know anything about the stones, so he would be revealing something that seemed like a secret. I should wait until I talk with Rob again. He frowned and layed back down on his bed, the tv volume turned low so it won't disturb him. If I talk to him again. It could be yet another practical joke on me. He shook his head. The fire was real, though. It appeared out of nowhere and didn't burn him, but was hot enough to burn the plastic wrapper. He clutched the necklace tighter. I do not know what to think.
"Ow!" Philippe's eye started to water, but he laughed at Jecht's expression. "It is okay. I am not badly hurt."
Laulite sat at his desk, doing his homework. It didn't take long for him to finish all of it, so he switched on the flat screen tv in his room. He layed down on his bed and took out the necklace. This is so strange. I think I will have to talk to Rob again tomorrow.
"Well, she is you, Jecht." Philippe watched niin amazement as wings came out of Jetta's back.
Laulite walked up the driveway towards his house. He took house keys out of his pocket and unlocked the door. He went inside and shute the door, locking it. Lin lived in a big Victorian house at the edge of his street. His bare feet didn't amke a sound as he went into the kitchen. He placed his book onto the counter and opened the fridge. He pulled out a jug of juice and, from the cupboard, a glass. He poured himself a glass of juice and picked up the note his mother had left him. Hey Honey, your father and I will be later than usual so I have a prepared meal in the oven for you. Don't wait up for us, Love Mom. Laulite put down his now empty glass and threw the note away. 'Later than usual' probablly meant not until tomorrow. It was becoming even more usual now, though, since his mom's and dad's business was growing steadily. Lin sighed and put his glass in the sink and the juice back in the fridge. He wasn't hungry so he turned off the oven and put the meal in the fridge. He picked up his book and headed upstairs to his room.
Ya me too...
Philippe was relieved. "Okay. I am just glad you are not mad." He turned to Jetta, "Are you okay?"
Laulite just stared at where Rob sat. He has had very few conversations with school mates all year, and this one had to be like that. Not that this one was bad, just a little unsettling. He was the only one left on the bus now, nobody was around. He watched as the houses seemed to grow and the lawns get trimmer. Lin was one of the few people from school who lived in this area. He saw the bus stop ahead and put the necklace back into his pocket. He picked up his book and readied for the bus to stop. When it did, he stood up and walked off the bus. He started to walk home, once again, lost in thought.
"Ow!" Laulite had absently tried to bite his hard candy in his mouth when the flame appeared. He stared at Rob. "Okay, I have to admit, that was interesting." He tightened his grip on the necklace, but smiled, "Your stone does that, but what, may I ask, ability do my stones have?"
Laulite blinked. "Okay." He pulled out one of the unopened candies and took the wrapper off. He put the candy in his mouth and held out the wrapper for Rob to take.
