Toxyn rushed forward the minute he saw his enemy fall to his knees, and began running towards him. His speed seemed slightly above average, probably because he was pumping electrolites through his body to make himself go faster. He lashed his right arm out, trying to sting the sharp point of his weapon straight into the directors chest, but was brought to a hault the minute he felt the claws of a large creature scrape his back, cutting through the skin like butter. He screamed, a mixture of pain and terror. His body already pained on a daily basis, but with his heightend nervous system, the pain of being scratched by a cat could be equivilant to that of being scratched by a bear. Considering that he had just been scratched by a bear, the pain was horrifying to him. Quickly as a reaction, he spun around, attempt to slash the paw, and then before she could get anouther swipe at him, he started running away, quickly darting around a corner. He wanted to kill the man who had caused him so much pain, but the pain he was experiencing now....his own fears of being around people had taken over. And now all he wanted was safety.
Wooaaahhh. Wow, ya, it has. I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty shocked to hear from you again. How've ya been? Its been AGES xD
Toxyn looked at her, an annoyed expression on his face. Before he had been having fun with the girl, but now she seemed to be acting a bit more like him, and it was stealing his mojo. He found the idea some what amusing though. Someone so heartless that she didn't even show much care for the fact that she was a heartless monster. "Fine then." Toxyn said, chuckling slightly. "Yes, I would like for you to attack the humans. Find more of them. Since you feel oh so confident about it." He said, chuckling again. "There are many area's in this world, but out if it all, there are three which I'm sure that you'll take quick notice to. The desert, the wastelands, and the forest. If you want to cure your boredum, then there is a village where you'll have plenty of play things to toy around with. Alrite?" Toxyn said to her. He respected the girl, but her boredum and curiosity in other things was obvious. "Oh bother..." Vixtra muttered, as he continued running in the direction of the forest. The girl was right in his path as well. "I guess even in this life I can't help but find annoyances." He muttered under his breath. He began to speed up, putting more effort into his run, and for a brief moment, he looked down at her, and his eyes locked onto hers. His lacked emotion, and was filled with uncaring. And yet, though they showed his own uncaring, he reached his hand down, and grabbed hers, without warning, and continued running, tugging on her, believing that instead of holding him back, she'd take the opportunity to get back onto her feet and start running again. "Get moving." was his only words to the girl.
It was as if a trigger had been pulled at that moment. The pupils in his eyes reacted like a cats would every time it would jump in to make the kill. His eyes went wide, and the pupils widend as well. He took a step forward, trying to frighten the director into shooting, then quickly jumped to the side, hoping to avoid if he shot. Guns were fast, so make assumptions was the best way to avoid them after all. The minute he felt steady, he ran forward, towards the director, keeping low to the ground, dragging the metalic finger guard on the ground, the sharp point scarping it, as if creating a bit of static in the air, and then came to a hault, swinging his right arm into the air, shooting a bolt of electricity straight through the air, using the gun as a conductor, so even though it'd go straight to the gun, it would ensure total accuracy. A small flash of white could be seen in his eyes the moment he unleashed the electricity, only heightening the hate in them.
((Accepted. I'll add ya to the front pg later ^_^ ))
Toxyn slowly began to stand, not making a sound. His sight remained on the man with the gun though. A man with a gun was a dangerous thing, but an animal full of hate was anouther, and that was exsactly what Toxyn was at the moment. He slowly began to stand up, not replying to the mans question. It wasn't like he talked a lot. For quite some time, he had already been distant from people. His body constantly aching, the one thing that kept his electricity constantly charged. His face showed no expression. His thoughts at the time were blank as well. His mind drew a blank, and the only thing he was focused on was the director. And for just one quick moment, a memory flashed in his mind, a memory of the torture that he had gone through, the very experiments which caused him the pain he had now. The minute that memory flashed, a slight jolt of eletricity flashed by his middle right finger.
Toxyn just stared. The stare had gone from one of interest, to one of hostility. He was staring directly into the directors eyes, murderous intent in them. He recognized the man. The man who had seen him many times. Back then, he had probably just been anouther number to him, but in Toxyn's eyes, this man had caused him what was much misery, from what he heard from scientists. He didn't bother to stand up, but he just sat there, his arms covering his knees still. He brought his right hand into the pocket of a trench coat he had been wearing, and then pulled it back out, returning it to where it had been before. On his middle finger was what appeared to be a type of armor. At the end of it was a sharp tip, a miniture blade of sorts. He didn't take his eyes off of the director, waiting to see just how they'd react.
A girl, not too far in the distance, had seemed to have caught Vixtra's eyes. It had been awhile, and the last girl he found had been quite annoying. He was running towards her, as the giant creature behind him continued to chase him. As he ran, he raised up his arm, to wave to the woman, as a greeting, as he approached her, still heading straight for the green patch. "Hey you! You might want to get out of the way!" he yelled to her, though he was unsure if she'd hear his warning. "Hey there." Mike said in a friendly tone, as if ignoring the fact that he was caught in the weed bush. "It's nice to see that someone's around here. For awhile I thought I was stranded." he said, chuckling slightly. Every action he made had no emotion behind it though. The carelessness. The good mood. It was all done by memory. Luckily for him, his lack of an attention span left him to easily be able to ignore the fact that he had no feelings at the time. "So, if you don't mind my asking, do ya think you can give me a hand? I kinda godda take a leak, and I don't think I wanna give that a shot with all these thorns and what not..." He said, chuckling a little again, though this time, it was a less confident laugh. ooc: magick, your chars at gun point. Just saying, you make it sound as if you didn't read Random Angels post... And w00t, *Twilightnight* in the house. Due to certain things that we discussed before, your allowed to have that set of powers, but ya can't have the barrier. Your chars strong for a human as is. The shield would be a lil too much
Toxyn raised an eyebrow as he watched the cat morph into a half girl, half cat like being. "God, I really am lacking sleep..." he mumbled as he watched the girl. When he had escaped, he had never really encountered any others of his kind. He knew that there were others, but just never really got the chance to see them. "The hell..." the grumbled, as he kept on staring at the strange animal/person. As he did, the light next to him began to brighten due to his own excitement. After all, seeing a neko in the middle of the street wasn't exsactly normal...
Ben stared in amazement. Most freaks had gained some pretty strange powers, but this one just seemed strange to him. He didn't let it distract him though. He raised his arm, preparing to stab the arm which had grabbed hold of him. "I don't have time for this." Toxyn said, rolling his eyes. he HATED humans. They always boerd him. The minute you pick one up and make one helpless, all they do is struggle and try and break out. Right before Ben was able to stab into the hand, Toxyn spun around, retracting his arm, and letting go of Ben as it came back towards him, throwing Ben straight through the portal. "Get the other one in there to. I'm not done with explaining things with you two, so let's make haste of this, shall we?" he asked the two, a slight bit of annoyance in his tone. "After we get things settled, I'll have things prepared for you both for the night." Toxyn said, as he looked off towards the sun, which was begining to set. It was a nice setting in the wasteland. The sun was setting. The shadows were growing longer. And amidst it all was Vixtra, taking a nice evening run. The weather was cooling, and there was a slight breeze. All would have been perfect, except for one thing. He still wasn't able to summon his katana, and to make matters worse, behind him had been the very same creature which he had originally wanted to observe, except....much, much bigger. It was a strange creature. Made up purely of darkness. It had the body of giant body, shaping itself in the form of a chickens. The head though was that of a snake's though, and it had only one thing it wanted right now, and Vixtra was that very thing. Vixtra's expression is blank. He didn't seem to care really. He hadn't taken the time to really try and figure out much about himself. He had no idea about portals. He still couldn't control his weapons. He was no better then a human at the moment, since he didn't even know that he had powers yet. He had only one hope. It was a patch of green, but he recognized it as a forest. He definatly wasn't planning on ignoring it either, so he ran as fast as he could, whilst the dark creature behind him chased after him, creating what was probably the most noticible scene in the entire wasteland. "Ow ow ow ow owww." Mike complained, ceasing all of his movement. "I hate nature." he grumbled. He had gotten sick of having to go around every tree, every bush, every obstical that he could find. It only lead to karma getting back at him though. Thorn bushes were common in the forest, and Mike had the luck of finding one of the most annoying ones of all. He had a few thorns priking into his body, and by now, was too caught up to move without scraping himself up.
Toxyn lifted his head up, after resting on the side of the street. Not too far away he saw a feline walking all by itself. To him it seemed as if it were staring at something, though he really didn't bother to put too much thought into it. He merely sat on the side like a bum, staring at the cat, thinking it was just some normal ordinary every day cat. While concentrating on the cat though, the near by light flickered slightly, his ability affecting it.
ooc: this is my second warning deaguy. One more time, and I'm going to have to kick you from the thread bic: "Dammit. I attacked the wrong ones." Ben cursed, only to learn that it was too late. Before he knew it, he was pinned up against the wall of the building he had been doing battle by. Pressing him against it was a giant hand. An arm had appeared to have extended outward from the portal. Made up purely of darkness, claws at the ends of each finger. "Woo. Looks like I hooked me a big one." Toxyn said, a slight chuckle escaping his lips as he helled the intruder well in place. He treated it as if it was nothing, but fact was, his arm had just covered an obviously inhuman distance, and grown in size to a size which could almost be compared to a human body, only showing a display of his power. "Capture the other one. It'll be a fun challange for you, I'm sure. It'll teach you a few things about yourselves." Toxyn said to Xiyamae and Anna, though he was mostly focusing on Xiyamae. Though the girl had been cold to him in attitude, she had qualities that if used right, would make her a most valuable ally.
Toxyn lifted his nose to the air, and began to sniff it for a moment. The grin dissapeared, but he still seemed to be happy about something. "Rats. They appear every once in awhile within the area. Hateful people really." toxyn said, letting out a sigh as he began to walk in the direction of the thud. "You'll come to learn that there might be a lot of things that are different from around here then where you two are from. Tell me, have you ever been to the desert before arriving here?" he asked the two, ignoring Anna's question. A portal appeared infront of them, Toxyn obviously not wanting to have to spend the time walking there. He stopped, allowing the two to go through first. Hopefully being able to see just what it is they were capable of. "You're one of the freaks, right? It isn't like I'm just going to let you live just so that others can I arrive" he said, preparing to lunge at her a third time, only to stop himself when the sound of a portal was heard from behind. It was a familiar sound to him by now. The darkness, making the sound of a vacuum, as if sucking up all the light around it. It disgusted him greatly. "Great, more of em." he muttered, getting into a stance, making sure that he wouldn't be taken by surprise from either side. ooc: I'm going to have to ask that you put A LOT more effort into your post. The quotation marks are off, and well....thats not even close to a paragraugh. Not to be an ass, but I need to be strict on the matter. Please put more effort into your posts as the other rpers and myself, or else I'll have to take action...
"Why yes, those are certainly some very interesting things that you'd wish to know, I'm sure. It is a story which can only be explained by some of the most knowledgable people in the world. Something which defies the very logic which society has based itself off of..." Toxyn said, staring at the two girls, almost as if making it more dramatic. "The story is.......not one that I know. At all. I have no idea. But what I DO know is one thing, and thats that everyone started out the same way. They ended up emerging from darkness with some sort of trait, except for one thing. As you said, as if you have no heart. It's like we're empty." He said to the two, leaning back against a wall. "Luckily for you, that's what we're all about." Toxyn said, lowering his head, causing some of his hair to drop down infront of his eyes. A grin showed though, before he began to speak again. "Though indeed we are without emotions, we're trying to fix that. For each of us, something happend that was tragic enouph to turn us this way, but instead of being forced to live without emotions, we were given power. I believe that we were given these destructive powers for a reason. It's given us so much more. The way I see it, if we obtain more of that power, then it's obvious that we'll be able to fix things, and more.......get it?" he asked, finally allowing the two a chance to respond, his grin returning to his face. It was true, he could not feel happiness, or satisfaction, but that didn't prevent him from showing that grin. Not for a second. Vixtra's travels had lead him to a much more desolated area. He was finally able to leave the desert, only to end up in a much harder, uncomforatable area. The ground below him was cracked and there hadn't been a sign of life. For some reason, his katana's had dissapeared awhile ago, as if evapurating into the air itself, though it brought no interest to him in the least. He had more interest in other matters at the moment. Even though it had been true that he had not seen any life, he saw things which were much more.....interesting. Creatures made up of darkness. Every time he came near one, it seemed to dissapear, but they had caught his interest quite some bit. They seemed almost familiar even... The pole smacked Ben in the head, his own carelessness not letting him see such a simple attack coming. As he fell to the ground though, he spun around, a blast of energy coming from one of his blades, flying straight at Kayla, while using his other arm blade to take the impact of the ground when he fell. He knew that if he did things like that often then it would most likely dull the blade. but it was worth it for now to keep himself alive. ooc: take care of other stuff later. being rushed on this one. sorry peoples >_>
ooc: Sorry for not posting. had a bit of a break down over the weekend. It's getting better now though. I'll reply to everyone else tommorow, ok? sorry for the hold up Bic: "Die Freak!" Ben yelled, spotting a girl wandering around in the city. He had spotted Kayla, but because she was wandering in the city, he had mistaken her as one of the freaks which had occupied the city. He lashed out at her when she least expected it, lunging his arm blade forward in an attempt to take her out fast. If she had truelly been a nobody, then it would definatly be wise to take her out in a sneak attack instead of head on after all.
Lmfao. Ya man, that happend about a month ago. Kinda f'd things over with me a bit, but it's all good. Rather not focus on her kind right now...
Lmfao. Doin great man. Whats good with you?
Isn't Obama's reductions meant to reduce all of these time periods by half? :/
((That isn't what the problem is. But it seems you read the rules and I know you, so I'll let you join. For the sake of things though, it was the fact that you didn't put n/a in optional. Keep that in mind next time? It was my way to seeing who read the rules -.-'))
"Going down." He said, still smiling, as a portal appeared beneath all 3 of them, causing them to fall through. They landed on the other side, touching a cold, clean floor. It was the top floor of what appeared to be a giant building, twenty stories tall, ten floors total. It expanded from both sides to unbelievable scales. "Welcome. To paradise." he said to the two women. "At the moment, it's empty since most of our civilians are away. But this is in fact where we live." he said to the two, as he began walking in the direction of a near by movie theatre. "Cmon. We'll talk in a more comforatable area. Tell me though, don't you have any questions? Two new freaks appear and you think you know it all just like that?" he asked, his smile lowering a small bit. "Or maybe, to get more to the point, what do you know so far. Freaks don't pop out of thin air and know everything." he said, his tone darkening as he spoke. He was obviously through with the fun and games for the time being.
