I don't know when we're leaving but my mother and I have to go back up to north queensland for a while. It basically went like this, I got a call on my mobile phone, I didn't recognize the number but I answered anyway. A lady on the phone was asking for my mother, not thinking of why she wanted my mother I went into the loungeroom and gave my mum the phone. After a few moments my mum's face went from wondering what the call was about to having tears stream down her face and after a few words she hung up. I asked her what the call was about and well... my grandfather has passed away. Trust me, I am crying my eyes out as I type this but I guess it's best I stay away from this site until I'm not such an emotional wreck as I am right now. I might be on msn but don't expect me to respond so much. I can't believe I am leaving because of this but I guess life is full of unexpected surprises. I won't list anyone down but you know who you are and I love talking to you guys. See you when I see you. ~Bareri-San

I borrowed Halo 3 ODST from my boyfriend for the holidays and I got hooked on playing it. I decided to make a sig with Buck in it. It's an anime I recently finished watching (and bought) at an anime club I go to. Just wandering if anyone else has watched it. Okay, I've started working on this tag (I started on it a couple of days ago.) And I really can't think of anything else to do with it: Any suggestions? No comments, I just want critique and suggestions.
Some ideas I got for this are from [Prototype] â„¢. >> Please don’t shoot me. D: Several scientists in lab coats stood around a row of several test tubes、their hopes were high. They were so close to finding a cure. So close that they could almost literally taste it. In each of the test tubes were a single individual, all of them had wires and IV drips attached to them as they bobbed up and down gently suspended in a blue fluid. Right in the centre of the row of test tubes was a larger and more complicated looking one. In it was a young man no older than about nineteen years old. This young man had so many IV drips and wires attached to him all over his body that no one would be able to recognize him if it weren’t for the plaque drilled down on the keyboard in front of the tube. All of the scientists moved in closer, around the centre tube, their faces grew serious. “It’s almost time to distribute the cure, and then we can get rid of this sin of a creation that we made.†The head scientist muttered to everyone else. They all nodded in response. The head scientist reached out to the tube and placed his hand over the area where the young man’s heart was. The young man’s eyes snapped open, they were filled with hatred and bloodlust but at the same time they were alluring. All of the scientists that were near the tube jumped back in fright and some even tried to make a run for it but before they could even make it to the door the subject had smashed the front of the tube, pounced out and killed everyone within the blink of an eye. “You are the one who is the sin of creation...†he muttered in a voice so cold, it almost felt like the room froze. With a twisted smile on his face, the subject escaped from the room to begin wreaking the havoc that would almost destroy the city... Technos was a beautiful city, a kind city, the kind of place that anyone would envy to live in if they had the money to move there. Unfortunately, a saying lingers around the name of the city itself; never judge a book by its cover. Just when the science lab had found a cure for a rare and deadly disease that took over the body of the host, one of the subjects, the first subject, broke free of the laboratory and began to wreak havoc on the city. Within not even an hour of the subject’s escape he had infected over 200 people and within the next 20 minutes nearly all the population was destroyed. Only a small handful was lucky enough to survive the havoc because of a mysterious immunity they had and now they are fighting for their lives to escape the city and call for help. Little did they know that to escape the city’s grasp they had to kill the subject at all costs, even if it meant killing someone close to them. As the survivors, your main objectives are to rescue other survivors and escape the city. Remember, when night time is about to begin, run. Run and hide as quickly as you can, because the night is when the monsters thrive and no one will be left alive. The Infected Those that is unfortunate enough to be infected by the disease turn into fiendish creatures, ones that thirst for the death of everything that is not like them. Depending on the severity of the infection of the host, the infected victim permanently transforms into a form of a huge beast, or a living breathing corpse. In general, these ones are just referred to as ‘infected’. Supreme Infected In some cases, the infection will be of extremely high concentration; in this case, the host slowly changes but only in mental state. They also have the ability to morph into a beast at will and they can change so quickly that they can pounce at a target as a human and be in their beast form halfway through the pounce. They have far superior judgement and reaction time that to that of a lower infected or of a human, they won’t die from a simple stab in the gut or a bullet to the head (even a shotgun bullet.) or anything in general. There is only one sure-fire way of killing them for good and that is to inject the cure directly into their heart and it has to be the heart. Reason being is that because their heart beats considerably harder and faster and if the cure is injected into their heart, it will then be pumped to every single other part of their body which will then kill them. These hunters are usually survivors who somehow managed to get the disease after the crisis. The Original Test Subjects The original test subjects, who went under the name ‘Project Ultimate Cure’, are the most deadly of the infected. They were innocent civilians who used as hosts in experiments to see what the infection would do if it was given drugs for other viruses. What the experiments the scientists did to these people is still unknown but it is presumed that it might have had something to do with aggravating certain effects of the infection in the body. The subjects are similar to that of the Supreme Infected but much, much deadlier. The subjects are connected to every infected that is living in the city and they have a certain amount of control over anyone beneath them. The only people that had extensive knowledge on them were the late scientists that created them. The Survivors These are the people who were somehow immune to the effects of the disease at the time it was spreading. Their goal is to escape the city alive and rescue any survivors they find along the way. These people are normal everyday humans. RULES 1. This: http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?t=80885 2. Violence and gore will be allowed to an extent but don’t go too extreme, same goes with romance if you plan on doing anything like that. 4. Only a selected few rpers will be allowed to roleplay as the Original Test Subjects, I will be the one who deems them acceptable to roleplay as one. Same applies to the Supreme Infected. 5. For the love of god, no singing or trying to take over the story. 6. No randomly popping up somewhere or magically appearing at your destination, actually incorporate that you are moving to a different area via your posts. 7. It’s ******ed but it’s a repeated offence I see over and over again. Please use proper grammar and punctuation. Trust me; quite a few members get a bit ticked when people don’t use the proper stuff. 8. Four characters per person max. No more. 9. If you’ve read this far, post ‘Lady Grey’ somewhere in your post. 10. The normal infected cannot be controlled. 11. The time setting for this roleplay is in the future, like with hi-tech stuff. He was the one that broke out of his test tube in the laboratory and killed all of the scientists and spread the disease. Weapon: Because of the experiments, he can transform any part of his body (mainly limbs) into a weapon. Other: Lady Grey Preview Post: Nothing could beat the high he went through when he killed something. Nothing at all. Alexis sat on a desk in an old abandoned classroom, licking the blood off of his hands. In front of him lay a pile of dead bodies of both infected and humans. Most killers would of done anything to get rid of the evidence but Alexis didn't care, no one was going to touch him, even if they tried. Before he licked off the last spot of blood on his hand Alexis held it up in the light, it looked a vibrant crimson red, in his opinion it it was a beautiful sight. History: He was one of the Original Test Subjects, taken in at the age of 11. He was picked up after an incident with a mass murder in a school. They used it as cover to say he was dead but infact he was being experimented on. His mind goes blank at that point of memory as everything becomes harsh light and intense pain, so much pain he lost his humanity. He awoke a short while after the first of his kind escaped and has since become a "judge" for humanity and "improves" them with infection. Weapon: Able to turn his blood into weapons or an extention of his body and attack (to usually infect) humans. When he puts himself at full output (which is quite painful) his body morphs into a monsterous creature capable of inhuman destruction and greater infection (if the body survives the onslaught). Other: Lady Grey Preview Post: Neil sat ontop of a half crumbled building as he viewed various infecteds stumble out into the night. He glared as he watched the creatures that where once human roam. "We're the same", he spoke quietly, his voice was harsh like a ghostly wind rattling through trees. Stepping off the low roof he landed on his feet crouched moments before standing up into the darkness off another building.
