Here's a quick Paint sketch, in attachments. I basically proposed that the Emblem be longer vertically.
*clears throath* *Xehanort's Heartless accent* "All worlds begin in darkness, and all so end. The heart is no different. Darkness sprouts within...
OK, we can manage this as a team! Btw, I just realised that your Desoul Emblem sorta looks like a flower sprouting within a Heart, like...
To come back to the main subject, if we give this much thinking, rationalising, and effort on the factors proving creationism wrong, then we gather way more than enough evidence against it. To once again derivate from the main subject, remember that carbon dating already proved itself accurately. If you estimate an age to 4000 +- 50 years, it's very accurate... However, if you estimate an age of 5 000 000 +- 4 000 000 years, that's not as accurate by a long shot... but it's still enough for some proofs. In this particular example (which I made up), creationism is already proved wrong, despite the innacurate result. The smallest possible age is still a million years, which is way over the 6000 said in the bible or wherever that came from. I often heard estimations of millions of years, thanks to carbon dating. In order to have creationism hold up after that, you need to have at least 994000 years of error margin, for a result of 1 million years. In my school, we don't accept results when you reach a 10% margin of error. For official results given by the most advanced research stations on Earth, I really doubt they'll accept results with a 99,4% margin of error.
Saying that something is "equally flawed" to carbon dating is basically saying that something is not flawed. Why do you consider cardon dating flawed? It had been used so many times as an argument against creationism (the ones with the 6000 year-old Earth at least), so your reference to it isn't coincidental, isn't it?
Thanks! I proposed that Sora ends up on Highnoon Hamlet, because all KH games quickly come to the "timeless sky" world. Then again, Riku could end up there too. Sora must definitely be the last to come to Disney Castle. He's the one the Disneys know, so they'll be excited to see Riku and Kairi first. Now, I think that Kairi shoul dmake it to Disney Castle first, probably right after Destiny Islands. This leaves Riku. Where should he land? Riku, Riku... Riku means "land", land makes me think of earth, so Sunset Horizons? Okay, that's the most obscure train of thought I've had recently. Let's think for a minute. What worlds, that were already featured in KH games, are relevant to Riku? He was to the Land of Dragons already. Can't think of anything. Riku also saw Twilight Town... can't think of anything there... He visited Beast's Castle in 358/2 Days... can't think of anything... Oh, TWTNW? Meeting Maleficient again? What if she tries to corrupt him, and he fakes falling for it, knowing that she's planning something? Also, Radiant Garden is most definitely a world we must put. Olympus Coliseum should still be there, because it's some sort of staple in the series. I'm so sick of writing "what if" over and over again... What do you think of the proposed locations?
In similar fashion, I say that : I find it far more plausible that the universe was created by sheer coincidence, rather than being created by an entity whose own existence brings us to the original problem. Then again, what do we gain by arguing? It's not like someone's going to change opinion over reading a comment on the Internet, LET ALONE ON A KINGDOM HEARTS WEBISTE.
Kme92, why would we mind? Sure you can make an opening. As for what you guys thought of, I agree that Kairi should start on Destiny Islands. Meeting a female Keyblader is also a good idea. We'll have to decide how much we'll talk about those Keybladers, and how much they influence the game. Should we go very deep in their past? Will they be Party members on their world, or follow you? I suggest they act like Leon and company. We should also have the story get interested in them, because they ARE secret Keybladers after all. Having each character do a world once is a great idea. It allows 3 episodes per world, which also allows more flexibility. As for Sora and Riku : Sora mustn't make it to Disney Castle. That would be too... obvious. He'll get there eventually, learning that Riku came and went, and will start his journey, keeping an eye out for his friends. BUT NOT LOOKING FOR THEM. Looking for Riku and Kairi got REALLY old. Sora will know they can fight, so he won't worry too much. Back on topic, Sora should end up on Highnoon Hamlet. After all, the KH games start with the "Timeless Sky" world. Riku can crash on Disney Castle. If he doesn't, at least he must get there before Sora, and so should Kairi. Also, I thought of something. That new female Keyblader of Destiny Islands... when Riku comes back to do his part of the Destiny Islands world... what if he gets interested in her? Not explicitely, of course, to remain in KH style, but you know. Doesn't take much thinking to realise what's going on between Sora and Kairi. So anyway, the fans will hopefully like this. Then again, Riku's kinda strange, looking like a guy who likes living by himself... so I don't know. Penultimate thing : since we're thinking of game concepts, we can really do anything. Kme92 got interested in the game's intro. Someone (still Kme92, I think) said it wanted to work on the worlds that will make it into the game. We're all working on what we can think of, etc. So we can work on anything we want. I'm getting interested in new Keyblades, especially since they'll be new Keybladers. Finally, last thing : I updated the Wiki. Didn't do much, but it'll eventually be well-detailed and informative.
It does look a bit too large. May I suggest that you try to make it more vertical? I don't know how, maybe by giving more lenght to the "tentacles". But right now, it sorta looks too wide, compared to the other emblems. It's still excellent, and your color choices are very good. We can safely say right now that fade purple and dark green are caracteristic colors of the Desouls.
I apologize for being absent lately; it's because I've been overwhelmed with school work. Today's the first day in a while where I don't need to...
Very well done... very well said. People have started getting attached to Nobodies. Of course, it's Organization XIII that takes all the attention, but having a good ending for the Nobodies will please many Kh fans. I know Kairi has a Keyblade, but we don't know much about it. She barely used it. Well, either she could get a second, from the Stone, and become dual-wield Kairi, wither we can use that Disney world for some other hero. Hell, anyone can take a Keylbade out of a rock and have some meaning to it. As for the bulk of your post, well, congratulations. It's quite the perfection. We can work on the smallest details later. For the moment, I have one thing to build upon what you said : ***Everyone is inside the corrupted KH. Xehanort : This strength, this power, it's finally mine! I shall push my knowledge to the ultimate limits! Now... the time has finally come... arise... my old friends... *He uses unheard-of powers to attempt reviving Aqua and Ven. This is excellent if we follow the Terra=Xehanort theory. *However, Ven and Aqua are inhumane and imperfect, because Xehanort's power comes from corrupted hearts. Xehanort : What?! I have all the power in my hands, and I still can't succeed?! The Hearts... they have betrayed me... I won't let this be! I need more Hearts, the strongest Hearts! *looks at Sora and co* Your Hearts! My friends, attack! *Ven and Aqua attack. Riku jumps on Ven and they begin fighting fiercly. Kairi blocks Aqua's attack, and shouts to a nearby Sora : Kairi : Sora! Go after Xehanort! Sora : But, you and Riku-... Kairi : We'll be fine! Defeat Xehanort! We must stop him... you must put and end to this! ***Final battles commence. Well, that's it for the moment. Riku and Kairi must triumph over the fake Aqua and Ven first, so that they can join Sora, snd whoever else is there, in fighting Xehanort.
Yeah. I meant that they will be your allies, and you could thus "control" them to some extent. Nothing close to what Maleficient does to the Heartless, though. A good player will make great use of them. A question remains : What happens after the fading Desoul world is destroyed? We already discussed that it will vanish, and when TWTNW vanishes as well, the Desoul KH and the Normal KH will enter in conflict. This should set the final stage of the game, where you will fight Xehanort. However, what happens to the Nobodies then? Their homeworld is destroyed, before the game finishes. They can find solace in another world, who knows, in Twilight Town's underground tunnel, or a new world. Or, having lost their home, and knowing they won't be accepted anywhere else, they will just launch an all-out attack against the Desouls. (Note : Since the Desoul world is also destroyed, and that the two KHs are "fighting" in another realm, we need to figure a way to actually have a final battle. WHERE would that be? Pezz, you mentionned many times something about "links", or "paths" opening to KH. Maybe you can find the solution to this problem, because you also mentionned fighing INSIDE Kh.) So, the Nobodies will be fighting the Desouls, allowing Sora and Co to break through their ranks and confront Xehanort. Afterwards, we can only wonder what they'll do once the game is finished. But we're getting ahed of ourselves here. Finally, an different idea : A Disney World that was suggested, for KH2, in a random Magazine who'se name I can't remember : The Sword and The Stone. I gotta admit, I don't know that story well ; I can only assume it's about the guy, probably King Arthur, pulling a sword out of a rock. My Magazie suggested that we replace it with a Keyblade. I like that idea. Furthermore, we'll introduce Keyblade Masters in this game, so maybe someone can arise through pulling that Keyblade. And by "someone", I mean Kairi. She could visit that world immeadiately after the Station of Awakening. She can get her Keyblade there, (and use the Sword, Shield and Staff in the Station). Finally (for the second time), if both Riku and Kairi have their Station of Awakening moment, do you guys and gals prefer playing with the 3 Items they are proposed? Like, let's say Riku awakens first. If the player picks the Sword, it will become unavailable for Kairi. Finally (third time), I see you Edited your post. For the Desoul's world, the names that were already proposed are cool enough as is. "Broken World" isn't bad. But while I'm here, enjoy me bombing names : ***Reminder : Consistency with other KH games requires us to have "The World" in the world's name. "The World of Flickering Candles" "The Worldof the Flickering Sun" "The World of the Depths of Soul" "The World of Candle Tears" "The World that will Never Live"
I like where this is going. We can also have Nobodies as temporary allies here and there. When you're fighting Desouls, you're basically an Ally to the Nobodies. The have no feelings, and thus rely on logic. My idea, gameplay-wise, goes as follows : 1. At the beginning of the game they will oppose Sora with all they've got ; because they want to turn him into a Heartless, thus probably restoring Roxas, the most powerful Nobody still "alive". 2. After some time, they'll abandon their strategy, and think of anthoer. In the mean time, while fighting, they'll prioritize the Desouls first, and then turn their eyes on Sora. 3. Finally, as Sora shitfs his attention more toward the Desouls, rather than Heartless, the Nobodies realise that Sora is too valuable. Therefore, they will contact him, thus contacting Roxas. And from that point on, Nobodies will more or less be your minions. Of course, this must happen late in the game. What does everyone think?
That looks a lot like the Heartless symbol. They too have some sort of thorns on their Heart. This is excellent, and might just end up to be the final emblem. There's one thing I'd mention though. The bottom part sorta looks like flagelle-like legs. Makes the whole thing look like a virus. I wondered if you could slightly modify the bototm, to make it look like it really is on a candle. I mean, like those images that you can see two things depending on whether you look at the colored side or white side. Except for that detail, I say this is the best emblem yet.
Keeping the flame theme, maybe if we turned some of the spikes into flames?
I've had a bit of fun making an emblem myself. However, I mostly used Copy-Paste, and in the end, decided to have fun with color. I've put WAY too many colors for an emblem, but the black lines are what's important. So the basic concept was to have flames in the heart. I was gonna put some on the heart as well, but got bored and overused colors instead :bangbang: Look in attachments...
Allow me to unite your newest idea with one that was a few dasy ago : Highnoon Hamlet can be one of two things : Either a Traverse Town/Twilight Town -like place, where not much happens... Ir it can be the Desoul world. If you don't want it to be that, then listen to what we must put on the Desoul world : The sun, as you said. Like a flickering candle, the more the world lsoes it's soul, the more the sun goes down. As the world loses its soul, it gets more grotesque, but the sun is still visible, lower and lower. When the sun sets, the world dies, like a candle snuffed out by the dusk's breeze. Also, the Desoul symbol (we mustn't forget that) can have a candle on it, because this symbol is becoming more and more present. It could also be a common trait among non-pure-breed Desouls. And now I have an idea for the symbol. Unfortunate, because I really need to work on my damn Chemistry and Physics assignments. I'll make the drawing and post it later today, maybe tomorrow.
Ok, I made a wiki user, which is named... StarSeeker99 ... As I said in my post in "Make KH3's story...", I'll first re-write all the ideas we...
Ok, answering questions and giving ideas in chronological order : I can't!!! For some reason it won't allow me to upload images larger than 1000 Bytes. That's 1 KB. I have 20X20 images which are larger than that. I would like that, but maybe more as a "for fun" thing, not really a profession. But that could always change. With the ideas everyone else gave, we could have Sora playable, but not the "main" character. Riku and Kairi must have their "Station of Awakening" moment, so by the time you play with, hopefully, both of them, you will also get to control Sora. I would like to be acle to pick which one I control, and which are Party Members. Kingdom Hearts fans, say good-bye to the good old damsel-in-distress Kairi we used to know! She shall gain the uncanny ability to swing a weapon, jump (*cough cough KH1 ending*), and wear clothes allowing more agility. So yeah, I totally agree. That's why I made my "Final Kairi". We all(?) thought that it should not happen immedaitely after KH2. But there's an easy solution to this. Simply say that the letter came a year or so afterwards. That doesn't really matter. We can just say that the defense got shattered. Here's an explanation Minnie would give to everyone : "The Cornerstore protected us from the Darkness, but it failed to block something else. Then those vicious creatures (Desouls) appeared, and now they allow Darkness to come in!" *****Insert Brexen's and Pezz's stories here***** I agree with both of you! But actually, that's the point, both of you. We can have Riku and Kairi awaken at the Station of Serenity (not at once, of course. Each must have its moment). Yeah, each KH game introduced a timeless sky. Even BBS (Sunset Horizons). Hey, what if they crash-land there? And Sora will recognize the place. This allows BBS references... but the game isn't out yet... Alright! We should take the time to rewrite the ideas that we kept... I could do that, but I can't right now. I'm quite busy, and that's why I only replied to everyone's ideas, without really giving out my own. I'll see if I can rewrite everything later today or tomorrow (read my signature ; Nothing's gained through procrastination). Take care everyone, and thanks to those who joined the fun.
Forgive me, but I'm not sure I get what you meant. What's "their own name"? I was talking about the fact that you wished to replace the name "Triadd" with something else. Sorry if I sound stupid or anything...
