Thanks mate :)
lol thanks :) I dont ever use brushes in my new stuff by the way (unless i made the brushes). its all smudging and filters used to create those effects.
MCR is win. :D anyways, the tag is in no way mcr related. its almost opposite xD 20 minute christina aguilera tag in hopes to spark some inspiration. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j203/theoneandonlycloudy/Aguilera.png
lol someone requested some tutorials from me so i figured i would post this one. This requires some photoshop knowledge. Tutorial Link Hope you learned some tricks from this. Post results here.
lol I'll Think about it. I do have a kinda old one that ill post up.
Thanks :) glad to see some people actually like my work xD
I Recommend Paint.NET over GIMP. Google search Paint.NET and download it. its free, and practically the exact same thing as photoshop. even the layout is similar.
I never said you personally said that, and also i said it was More noticeable because of the bars. not that the bars made the only flow on the right.
Im C4E, Also known as Cloud4ever on other forums. anyways, i came over here from KHI. Mostly to post in the Gfx community, but also because Xaldin updates here sooner ;) xD anyways, Nice to meet you all. Seems like a nice place.
i dono why you guys say theres no flow. i see flow going \ / like that. more noticeable on the right because of the bars, but the Spatter Smudge (thats what it looks like, im unsure) looks oriented towards that type of flow on the left. anyways, i dont really think the stock fits in here. Try a bigger stock so its easier to define the focal points features. Also, it should reflect the lighting you have, but it all looks flat. other than that, V2 looks better, theres no green/purple Contrast in the light behind the stock xD
It is moved. and you should provide a template for requesting, and some examples of your work so people can know what to expect. Good luck with the shop.
@^ Stock doesnt always have to go in the center. Try and use the Rule of thirds sometime. A concept that says That splitting a canvas into thirds and aligning the focal point at one of the thirds makes the artwork more visually pleasing than if the stock were in the middle. Anyways, on the tag... the duplications arent really helping it, and the focal point isnt really defined well at all and is much too small. if youre going to work with a stock of that size, move it to the center or one of the thirds of the canvas and crop out some of the top and bottom. Focus the Effects around the stock to keep attention on your focal point. You dont want your viewers eyes moving around and seeking more of the picture off canvas. Use appropriate lighting, and use more variations of colors in your tags. Using one solid midtone color isnt good for building depth or flow. Find a balance between lights, darks and midtones. Okay, i hope that helped.
Thanks :) @Axel Yea ive never played oddworld, i just did what i thought would look good with that stock. And the scenery is a bit more odd than anything you would find in this world, so i thought it was okay lol
