OOC : I hope I haven't decided too many plot details here...

    BIC :
Trenyan had tried interrogating his two prisoners. Lizards didn't prove very cooperative, however. He ended up with ideas of the Lizards' plans, but unfortunately, he wasn't sure of many things he's learned.

In order to avoid possible detection, he quickly ended his interrogation, and killed the Lizards, letting them go being far too risky.

With spying and interrogation finished, Trenyan started writing a copy of his findings. It took some time, but he eventually filled a few scrolls of paper.

According to what he saw, the Lizards' armies were numbered by the thousands. As expected from a Lizard army, he didn't see many weapons ; the Lizards who did wield something were only high-ranking officers.

For the moment, the Lizards were moving stealthily, but they could definitely do a better job. That's why Trenyan already predicted their forces to be tremendous... they could actually afford having a few divisions spotted. Their ranks were thick.
For the moment, many were moving throughout the forests, in an attempt to remain hidden.

As for the plans of the reptiles, he wasn't perfectly sure. He gathered this information from overhearing Lizards talking, and from his interrogation, but neither method provided fully accurate results. What he knew, is that Baflee was the target. Also, the Lizards planned to attack from all sides.

The Lizards he fought at Triwn could've been there for several reasons. They could either have been a diversion, or could've attempted to run deep into Baflee's territory, to reinforce the main attack.

The main attack was most likely the capital city of Cheslidair, but even this was unsure. Cheslidair's southern border was protected by a river, too, and Trenyan had no idea what the Lizards were to do about it.

Last but not least, the time remaining : he overheard Lizards saying that "in a few daysss, Baflee will be in ruin". If this means that there are a few days remaining, the citizens of Baflee can work on a defense... until then, small border villages, like Triwn, were doomed to be raided by the merciless Lizards.

This was, in a more complicated text, what Trenyan wrote on his scrolls of paper. He then proceeded with his plan.
"Flame Burst, take these. These scrolls have everything you've helped me find out. Go back to Triwn, and find that Shaper."
Trenyan spent a minute describing the Shaper, so that Flame Burst could visually recognize him, as well as remember his smell.
"I hope you remember his smell well enough, because he may be on the move. Give him the papers, and then come right in this forest, before the night, if possible. Now go!"

As Flame Burst ran quickly, Trenyan took the other copy.
From where he was, Cheslidair was much closer than Triwn, so Trenyan decided to deliver the other copy himself. Surely the King of Baflee could use the information.
"But first, I should hide those Lizard corpses."

OOC : Ok, here I go.

Note that in real life, a wolf lives at most 10 years in nature, and up to 20 in captivity. In this RP's universe, I needed it to be longer.

For practical purposes, I decided to pinpoint the time when Trenyan's first home was destroyed. It happened 39 years ago, and he adopted Frost Fang five years later, while it was an infant.

    I.
    Username - StarSeeker99
    Name - Frost Fang
Race - Wolf (pure wolf, not a WC)
Powers - None, but used to be mounted, a task difficult for a wolf
    Age - 34 (aged wolf)
    Gender - Male
    Side - Neutral
Weapon - None ; uses his fangs and teeth
Background - A wolf that was adopted by Trenyan, as a symbolic gesture after he saved a Wolf Clan village. He had been with Trenyan for all his life. He is now old, thus he aovid fighting, but still enjoys rambling through the forests.
    Appearance - A snow-white wolf.

    II.
    Username - StarSeeker99
    Name - Lightning Claw
Race - Wolf (pure wolf, not a WC)
Powers - None, but used to be mounted, a task difficult for a wolf
    Age - 31 (aged wolf)
    Gender - Female
    Side - Neutral
Weapon - None ; uses her fangs and teeth
Background - A female wild wolf that took interest in Frost Fang. Her origins are unknown to Trenyan, because he cannot really understand a wolf's words. She received her name from Trenyan. She had a wolf child, Flame Burst. Altough aged, she can still roam through the wild, and fight if necessary.
    Appearance - A gray wolf.

    III.

Powers - None, but can be mounted, a task difficult for a wolf
    Age - 16 (mature wolf)
    Gender - Male
    Side - Neutral
Weapon - None ; uses his fangs and teeth
Background - Child of Frost Fang and Lightning Claw, and named by Trenyan in similar fashion. He was born rather late in his parent's lives. He is physically active, proud, and often spends days away from home, lving his own life.
    Appearance - A gray wolf.

They cannot talk, so I'm not going to color-code them.

    "Come on..." he whispered.
Trenyan was waiting, up in a tree, in the forest the Lizards came to hide. The leaves did conceal him, but not completely. But if all works out right, that'll suffice.

    He heard sounds. Perfect.
Flame Burst came back, running at a fraction of its maximum speed, a group of Lizards following him. Trenyan counted four of them.
His wolf made his way to the tree Trenyan was on, and turned around to face the Lizards, growling.

"Annoying creaturesz.", said a Lizard. "Szmarter wolvesz s-should not diszturb usz during our preparationsz."

Just then, a small rain of icicles came raining down on the Lizard group, and Trenyan jumped from the tree. He landed on a Lizard, flooring him, and also stabbed him with his wing sword.

The others turned around, and at the same moment, another one was floored, viciously shredded by Flame Burst. Surprised twice in less than a second, a third Lizard was slashed by Trenyan.

The fourth had time to react, and tried lunging at Flame Burst. Trenyan kept an eye on his pet, however, and Molded many icicles that flew right in the Lizard's mouth. While the Lizard was choking, Trenyan slashed him repeatedly.

There remained two Lizards alive, one that Flame Burst was pinning, and the one that Trenyan slashed only once. Trenyan jumped at the latter, and punched him several times, knocking him out.

"Okay, Flame Burst, stop. Keep him floored, but we need them alive right now."

Then, addressing himself to the pinned Lizard, who was the one who talked earlier, he said :
"And smarter Lizards should wonder why they could chase a wolf without being outrunned."

OOC : Can I make Trenyan wolves semi-characters? Since he sends them away often, like for messaging or diversions, I could say what the wolves see and do, even if Trenyan is not with them.
He has 3 wolves, but two are in his town, for the moment.

Trenyan was gaining distance from Triwn. On his right there were woods, and on his left, an empty, endless field.

The mysterious smell that only his wolf detected was out of his mind. But another smell popped up. It was very strong. And that was extremely unusual, because Flame Burst should've felt it before Trenyan. But he felt it at the same time. He stopped, and Trenyan got down.

"This is intense! It stinks, too! And I'm sure I know what this is..."

They entered the thin forest as to hide from the open field.
For a few minutes, they looked at all possible directions, until the cause of the smell was made obvious. Lizards were coming down a hill!

Since they were behind a hill, in a hilly zone, it explained why the smell couldn't travel as effectively as through plain land. That's why Trenyan and Flame Burst felt it at once. Furthermore, the smell was very strong... because there seemed to be no end to the stream on Lizards coming.

They weren't aggressive, however. They moved quickly, right towards the woods. Trenyan remembered what the Shaper told him : the Lizards were to attack.

"They are moving... and want to remain hidden... but if so, why would they take such a detour? Surely they could've reached Triwn, from the same side as before, virtually undetectable. Damn! They seek a surprise attack!"

Trenyan was unsure what do to. His instinct told him to go back to Triwn, or to a nearby village, inform the people, and judge if they can win a fight. But he could not. He had to go to Ilianam. He had enough detours as is.

"Wait... it's after noon, but the sun is sitll strong. Even with the woods here, in this place, it's highly risky to move so many troops. Lizards aren't that stupid. If they move such a force, here, and now, it means that they can afford to have this force detected.
This means... that there are much, much more Lizards coming. It's not a surprise attack they are planning, it's an tremendous slaughter!
    "

Trenyan could not continue his journey, at least not until dusk. The risk of stumbling on a Lizard encampement were far too great. After the sun sets, he could move without much trouble. But what about the humans?

"Flame Burst", he said."I'll need you. You're going to carry some papers over to Triwn. But you are tired, too..."
The wolf stood up proudly, showing off its endurance.
"Don't try. I never underestimated your strenght. But if Lizards spot you and guess that you're more than just a random animal, I need to make sure you have the energy to escape. Furthermore... I need to write down everything I can learn. We need to do some spying. Are you up for this?"

The wolf made a positive growl.

Trenyan needed to move quickly, and even have his wolf help him, by doing diversions. He wanted to see how many Lizards they were, how they moved, at approximately what time they'll arrive, everything. He also knew that he needs to send the information quickly enough, otherwise it will be in vain.

I had already posted something similar, so I'll Copy/Paste, and add the new random/funny things I've done.

    1. KH2
After beating Sephiroth, have Donald staying in front of him, and then move away. Donald will walk/run into Sephiroth. Forever.

    2. KH2
Mess with the walls. I actually discovered some wall combos. Negative
Combo + Hit Wall + Square = Finishing Leap. Can also trigger Riku's Dark Shield reaction command to show up. Or did it require Fenrir too, not sure. Either way, you'll have Finishign Leap or Upper Slash pop up.

    3. KH2
Master the camera controls, and put it in "awesome" angles EVERY time, no matter what I do.

    4. KH2FM
Aerial Finish the air over and over again, thanks to combo master.

    5. KH2FM
Purposely do some insane combos with Combo Master. Example : Final Form + Sleeping Lion + Rumbling Rose + Spam Thunder while on a Save Point.

    6. KH2FM
Go Limit Form, use Combo Master to slash the air with Rumbling Rose, until Sora made 4 Hurricane Periods yelling out the same quote. Similarly, doing any Finisher repeatedly, seeing what quotes Sora does.

    7. KH2
Fight Sephiroth using crazy camera angles. Upon winning, going to the Great Maw, get killed, Load the Game and fight Sephiroth again.

    8. KH2FM
Everytime I arrived at the Altar of Naught but didn't feel like going through 20 minutes of final battle and 25 minutes of ending, I would once again spam Combo Master and make Sora use his moves on nothing.
While doing a low-camera-angle Zantetsuken in Limit Form, I got close to Kairi, and wondered if you can see under her skirt. You can.

    9. KH2FM
The most dangerous and immature thing ever...

Fight Terra while running on a treadmill. Seriously, it made me reasize just how difficult it must be to fight for so long. I did Lexaeus then, and went over to Larxene. But I was getting tired, so I Reflega spammed her.

    10. KH2
Always try to finish the battle in epic fashion. For example, against Sephiroth, finsih him by going in his Fire Pillar, Refelcting, and Curing the moment Reflect starts shooting.
Also, trying to learn how to finish a boss... with a specific attack of Aerial Finish. Like, knowing what do to to win with the first slash, the 2nd, the 3rd, or the 4th. All 4 slashes are Finishers, so it's not easy, but the slow-motion camera looks much better depending on which slash is your Finishing one.

    11. KH1
Throw whatever I could find at Goofy. Never tried KOing him though.

    12. KH2 and KH2FM
Tried Sephiroth and Xemnas Data with NOTHING, not a single Ability, no Drives, etc. I only did it because I wanted to get killed to load a game.

    13. KH2
Tried KH2 Multiplayer! Let me explain : You control the X, O, Square, Traingle, R1, and the camera while your friend controls the Left Analog Stick. Then, you watch as you get owned by Sephiroth.

    14. KH2
noticing that Sora's Form lasts forever if he's on a skateboard, I tried to level-up Wisdom Form by smacking Heartless with the skateboard. Didn't work ; the game doesn't record the EXP.

    15. KH2FM
Managed to beat Roxas during his counter move (the one my Avatar displays). I did it by accident, but found it really funny.

    16. KH2FM
In the first CoR battle, the last enemy was an Assassin. He was low on Health, however, and used his kamikaze move. I had Second Chance equipped, thus I survived, and won the battle, but Sora was in his "stunned" position, so it looked exactly as if I had been killed.
Now I wonder, had I not equipped Second Chance, would've I died, or would've I won?

I agree with the ******ed mini-games that are a bunch of crap made only for money, but there is one place I wanted to see Sora.

    Brawl.

I'm not too sure how it would've been (ignoring the fact Sora is Square's property, not Nintendo's)... thinking of it, it sounds awesome and horribly misplaced at the same time.

I heard about it in school...
and thought it was a card game.

Why do you all look at me like that? The people who talked about it DID play cards 100% time in class...

I had been proposed to bne introduced to the first game, so I was like "oh, so it's a video game?". Then, I had no idea what to expect, since I had always thought it was a synonym for poker.

I wasn't very exicted when I was introduced to the game, and I was used to all sorts of characters as "Japanese video game characters".
Seeing Sora = "Ok, so he's the main character." Seriously, his appearance had no impression on me.
What did, was his fighting style. My first thoughts on Sora were "Hm, interesting aerial combo he has, although I don't see the point in doing the splits during the first move. Also, why can't he combo the air, but can combo a solid tree?"

I noticed his voice, though, some time after picking up the game. I told myself he could sound more serious.

  9. StarSeeker99
    That's KH2...

In the first game, Dodge Roll was given so early, and it was very useful for moving faster.

I didn't use it non stop, EXCEPT against Kurt Zisa. Spamming Dodge Roll was the only way to avoid his attacks while in its Magic Form. Also in that form, I needed Dodge Roll to get closer to him.
His Prowl Form needed a lot of Dodge Rolls too, expect those actually needed to be timed, instead of randomly pressed.
Anyway, my thumbs hurt after the battle. A lot.

    ANSWER A ; SERIOUS :

Those Mushrooms are side-quests to the game. Some require quite some skill / countless tries to accomplish. Perhaps they were put to increase the replayability of the game, and give you something to do that's funny and difficult at once.
Also, it seems that Square already used similar Mushrooms for other games, but I don't know anything about them.

    ANSWER B ; NOT SO SERIOUS :

    You mean the Mushrooms?

Because... they were... have been... er...

    *clears throat*

So, allow me to explain. They once were sold on the Market That Never Was, labelled as "magical beans". Xemnas bought them.
However, they turned out to be Mushroom Seeds, thus Xemnas was so angered he threw them by the window.
Not only didn't he realise that he felt anger, which he shouldn't be able to feel, but he forgot that Mushrooms do not have seeds per se. So what exactly were they?
Well, they grew in the (Radiant) Garden That Never Was, which was controlled by Lamuria or whatever was Marluxia's name prior to his Nododysiation. Lamuria gained power by making the seeds grow, but the seeds stole his Heart, resulting in him becoming Marluxia.

The seeds then sprouted into adult Mushrooms, that each had an obsession with one specific challenge for a Keyblader to accomplish. They each absorded the powers of a specific Organization Member.

Also, they kept annoying Roxas at The Castle That Never Was, constantly bouncing up and down, making high-pitched noises, begging him to try to accomplish their challenges, since Roxas is a Keyblader.
:bounce: greenbounce :bounce: greenbounce :bounce: greenbounce
Roxas told Xemnas to kick the Mushrooms out of his castle, but he only replied that he didn't want to do that. He had paid 14 Munny and a Sandwich That Never Was, for the seeds, so he wanted them to be worth it.

Later on, Xemnas allowed the Mushrooms to sleep in the bed of the Organization Member of the corresponding number.
This was an EXTREMELY foul move, as Marluxia, already tortured once by the Mushrooms, rebelled against Xemnas, and Larxene followed suit.

Their power turned Marluxia into a rebellious Nobody that would've pwned Xemnas, had Sora not pwned him first.

Finally, they ultimately led to Roxas leaving the Organization, unable to cope with the annoying Mushroom #13 squealing in his bed (then in his closet, and then in his tomb at the Proof of Existence), keeping him awake all week.

Then, they scattered throughout the worlds, until Sora completed each of their challenges, and they then ascended to Mushroom Heaven... where they could live happily with their friends the White Mushrooms, Rare Truffles, Black Fungus, and Pink Agaricious, and with countless Keyblade Masters to accomplish their challenges.

In Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, you occasionally find "Organization Mushrooms". Those are basically the White Mushrooms of KH2FM. They're black, have a zipper, a roman number on their back, and look pretty awesome.

They all have a challenge for you. Organization Mushroom #8, for example, is located in front of Yen Sid's Tower (he appears later in the game). When you see it, you can activate its challenge.

This particular Mushroom wants you to hit him as many times as possible, while he's in the air. If you manage to hit him 50 or so times before he falls down, you've completed the challenge. The more times you hit him, the better rewards you get.

When you've completed all the 12 Mushrooms' challenges, the 13th one appears at the Great Maw, and he'll give you this "Jesus Keyblade" (Actual name : Winner's Proof). It will also give Sora a Crown to superglue on his hair, and a scene that will leave you with an WTF-ed face.

    Questions? :xp:

Trenyan was surprised how fast his wolf, Flame Burst, was moving. Obviously he was well taken care of, by the people of his town. Trenyan smirked, happy to know that somewhere on this continent, there is that place he calls home, where he'll always be welcome -...
"Or..." he muttered, suddenly remembering something. His thought became more anxious : "I remember... many years ago... I was going back to my old town, the first one, where I grew up... except I was on foot... and I told myself the exact same things like now. I'll be welcome forever in my town. And when I arrived, I found it under attack.
Is my town attacked again? No, if it were, I would've been called right to it, not to Ilianam.
    ".

He was pretty far from Triwn, but had a very long way to go. A full day, at this speed, but that doesn't account the wolf's resting time. As strong as it is, it remains an animal that's not suited for mounting.

Suddenly, and out of nowhere, Flame Burst acted strange. He stopped, sniffing.
"What's wrong?", said Trenyan. But Flame Burst ignored him, concentrating on sniffing. He seemed to have trouble identifying the smell, or downright detecting it.
"Is there a strange smell? Let me try.", said Trenyan.

Of course, he failed to smell anything. Being a quarter-wolf, Trenyan inherited the wolves' outstanding smelling sense, but not much of it. He can detect things by smelling, more than a human, but much less than any wolf, especially since he inherited a lot more Cylian traits.

Flame Burst showed an intrigued face. He couldn't locate the smell, or what it was. He looked at Trenyan, and probably guessing that his master's smelling sense was weak, he resumed his running.
"Odd. Hm. This makes way too many strange things happening in a short amount of time. What's going on?"

I've had a few ideas with Rin's magics. Since she is Order, and good with magic, she has some varied spells.

    - She can engulf her Keyblade in flames to do a few strikes, which works for the first and second Keyblade form.
    - She can freeze her second form Keyblade while extended, temporarily turning it in a normal sword.
    - Something with Thunder... not sure what yet.
    - And Light magic. One idea is to have her Keyblade engulfed in light for some attacks, like Sora's Guard Break, Finishing Leap, etc. But since Rin already has her Fire and Ice magics doing similar things, I'll drop this.
    - Healing would be nice. Sinec SRK will mostly be on their own, there won't be many instances where a Party Member heals you. Therefore, I think that the Keybladers should be able to heal the player.

Trenyan could only wonder why his old friend wanted him in Ilianam. "I've wasted enough time as is. Ok, Flame Burst, time to move", he told his wolf.
The crossbreed then mounted his wolf and set his eyes towards the west.
"I do hope that no more incidents with Lizards happen. But, if what that Shaper predicted proves true..." Trenyan was thinking deeply. "Could it be because of the Lizard's supposed "war declaration" that my friend calls out to me?
No, I think not. Why would we care about Lizards? The last time we've had to fight them was... except yesterday... well, I don't even remember...
    "

Trenyan could think of many reasons which required his presence, but none seemed to fit in the situation.

OOC : About that. HOW do we battle?

Suppose my character gets angry at another character. Sure, if it's a minor NPC (lol at using this term here), we can just do whatever we want, like we did with the Lizards.

A major NPC would require more thinking, but overall not too complicated.

But what about Player vs Player? I've never been part of an RP before, so I don't know anything here. Do we like, spam Visitor Messages and PMs until we've decided how the battle will go? Or do we go on MSN and discuss real-time? Or simply Post our attack and hope the other dude/dudette allows him/herself to be hit by it?
