BBS takes place 10 years before KH1. If we see Axel or Saix, they'll be much younger. That doesn't mean they don't appear though... Saix is number 7, and Axel is number 8. As it has alredy been pointed out, they are first to have joined the Organization, after the original 6. This gives them some importance. Axel is also important for obvious reasons, and Saix is 2nd in command or something among those lines. ***SPOILER*** (Written in white) Also, 358/2 Days does point out that they knew each other. Saix knows Axel's original name. ***END OF SPOILER*** They are both more important than, say, Luxord (*gets shot by Luxord fans*). But yeah, until the games are released, we can have as much theories as we want. Name-changing obsessions, odd-condition-created Nobodies, gender-swapped Nobodies, Unbirths, Hearts, Bodies and Souls mixing wildly, all make room for all imaginable theories.
Xehanort's Heartless is technically only Xehanort's Heart. It does have a sort of mind, an a sort of body. but the real Body and Soul of Xehanort became Xemnas. The new enemy, the Unbirths, must lack one the the 3 things. I thought they lacked a Soul. You say it lacks a body... isn't that actually a Heartless? Heartless are a Heart, without a Soul, and with a fake body, made out of Darkness.
OOC : The sun has set, but it hasn't been long since it did. Also, Pezz, I'm not sure I understand where you are. The "Nefier Bogs" text kinda blocks the topography. Is it really an island you're on? Flame Burst was supposed to have seen you, so if it needs to cross water to reach you, he'll turn back. BIC : Lythorne's fight with the cloaked person went towards a stalemate. They were now both blocking each other mutually. His opponent is definitely an ice Molder. This also means he isn't human. The ice sword he created won't last too long, so if he-... "Very impressive, very impressive indeed. What I don't understand if how they actually refused your fighting services. The world needs warriors like you. If you ask me, your would-be employers just wantd to get rid of you." Trenyan knew that this person had a lot of potential. And he needed to beg for living? A truly sad story. He will help this human... if he helps him first. "I apologize for my rude behaviour. I see you told me the truth about your parents." With that, Trenyan made his ice Wing Sword crumble, and let go of the mutual sword blocking. "In that case, tell me. Who are you? You aren't human, aren't you?" Trenyan lifted his hood. "No, I'm a crossbreed. Cylian and Wolf Clan, to be precise." The human was still holding his swords tightly. "Listen. I could use your help. I came here searching for a few people to hire... but you will do fine by yourself." Lythorne needed money. Naturally the offer interested him, but it was difficult to trust someone who just fought him... then he thought : "Actually, it was I who started the fight. Not that this guy didn't ask for it. Maybe he can offer something interesting. Anything beats begging and sleeping outside." He asked the crossbreed : "What do you have in mind? What do you want me to do, and how much are you willing to pay?" "I'll play quite a lot. As for what I want... simply put, the citizens of Baflee will either see you as a hero, or as an imbecile." "There's a big difference between those..." "Discussing here is not very subtle. Let's take a walk, shall we?"
Trenyan was walking through the city. He walked fast, towards the north, towards the forest. But now the time to put his main plan into action. He purposely went to what looked like the poorest neighbourhood of this city. He needed a few people. And he needed to hurry. If this works, the citizens of Baflee will know that danger is even closer than they think, and the King will hopefully understand the gravity of the situation. Trenyan saw a young human. He looked depressed, alone in the dark streets. The night had arrived. Time to act. Trenyan approached the youth. "Good evening", said the human. "Sorry to ask, but do you have some spare change?". Lythorne hated asking this. What a way to lower his self-esteem. But he had no choice, at least until he reached Cheslidair. "Asking for change won't make you go far in life, you know." "I know... but what can I do? No one offers jobs now. Everyone panicks because of the Lizards. They even refused my warrior services", Lythorne said, pointing to a nearby bag holding his two swords. "They claim I'm too young, and that I can't fight well enough!" "Well, go somewhere else. Somewhere where there are job offers." "Thanks for the tip, but I thought of it myself. I'm going to Cheslidair. If only my parents survived the Lizards' attack... they could've helped me." Trenyan didn't belive it. "Sure, your parents died. What a typical lie from a beggar, to make pity." That answer triggered a lot of rage in Lythorne. He was already really mad from having been refused hire over and over, even when saying he can defend the city. "Don't make me angry!"He reached for his bag, took his swords out, and slashed at Trenyan. The crossbreed had obviously underestimated the rage of the human. He knew he did not lie, now. He ahd all the time to see the hit coming, because the human had to get his swords out of the bag. Trenyan molded an ice wall, blocking the human's sword in it. His right-handed sword was blocked. But that wasn't a problem. Lythorne used a bit of magic, and created some electricity around his left-handed sword. He slashed with strenght, twice, and the wall shattered. "He can Mold electricity?!" Thought Trenyan. He backdashed to avoid a double slash. His sword was still in his sheath, on his back. Lythorne then used his magic to create a flame, that went straight towards the cloaked Ice Molder. Trenyan was shocked to see the human use fire now. He realised he wasn't a Molder, but a mage. A beggar mage? How come? He took a bit too much time to act. He created ice particles in the air in front of him, but only weakened the flame. He got hit, and felt the heat on his head. He could shift the ice particles to cool the air around him, feeling better. But the human was charging. Trenyan took out his sword, and clashed with him, blocking a sword. OOC : It's near Triwn, and I guess that means west of it (cuz east is the ocean). BIC : Introducing a new character! Username - StarSeeker99 Name - Lythorne (pronounced : "Light-Thorn") Race - Human Powers - Magic. He can use very varied elemental magic, but they aren't too strong... yet. He didn't train magic too much, and also has some quite odd spells that apparently do nothing. Age - 16 Gender - Male Side - Neutral Weapon - Dual Swords. He is better at swordplay than magic, for the moment. Later on, he'll get two swords that can be united into one (mechanically). Background - He was born in Baflee, and grew up there. He lived in a poor border village, and Lizards attacked his home recently. His parents were killed, and althought he survived thanks to his sword skills, he had nowhere to go. He barely trained his magic, having discovered it recently, and now has to find a way to survive. His young age and few skills except his figthing, made it difficult to get a job, especially while Lizards were constantly raiding. He was forced to beg in the streets to get enough money to live. He disliked this style of life, so went travelling to Cheslidair, hoping that the great city will have more opportunities for a future. He meets Trenyan in that nameless city between the forest and Cheslidair. Appearance - About 178 cm tall, medium-lenght dark brown hair, not very muscular, a bit thin. Wears long pants, and a shirt with loose sleeves, and looks pretty poor. OOC : We're running out of colors! Now that you mention it, Ice Molders/Mages could move faster with ice. I only see it possible with a slope, however. We can make an ice plank and snowboard our way down!:roll: Or why not ski? Make ice skis and sticks, and there you go!

Flame Burst was at the edge of the Bogs, when he finally saw the Shaper. The daylight was almost gone, but he could see pretty well even in the dark. He howled, loud enoguh to be heard by the human and its companion, and then proceeded to approach them, trying not to look aggressive. More or less OOC : Among with the Lizard's plans, the scrolls on Flame Burst also contain this letter : "To the human Shaper that rallied the citizens of Triwn, The Lizards are attacking, as you predicted. I have been able to intercept them, undetected. They are moving through the forests, trying to stay hidden, and I think we only got a few days before they begin their main assault. What that assualt is, I can only assume it targets Cheslidair. The scrolls on my wofl's back contain all the information I could gather, on the Lizard's numbers and plans. It's not the best reconaissance you can get, but it's sure to help. I don't know if you ended up staying with the villagers or not. If you didn't, please tell my wolf to continue on to them, and indicate a direction if possible. As long as you don't go too technical in your language, he'll understand you." -X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X The mayor's room was pretty large, yet the mayor himself had little space. Sitting behind a messy desk, he looked, for lack of a better word, stereotypical. He didn't hide his surprise upon seeing the intruder. "Relax, mayor. I come in peace. There is no time, so I had to cut corners with the formalities, so please excuse my impolite intrusion." Trenyan couldn't think of better words, and already regretted his speech. He felt it could've been better. "I heard the commotion. The guards will be here soon. What's so important that you're willing to get captured for it?" "I have knowledge of the Lizards' numbers and plans. I coudn't get perfectly clear information, but I have helpful info." With that, Trenyan put his scrolls on the mayor's table. "There is NO time to waste ; you absolutely have to deliver those to the King of Baflee! He might have enough time to prepare his people... at least just a bit. You are important enough so that I can count on you. Don't make me regret all the trouble I've been through to get to you!" Noises came from outside the room. The guards were coming. Two were already at the door. Trenyan had to leave, hoping that the mayor will act as he ordered. Despite what thought the mayor, escaping wasn't difficult. When you can Mold ice, climbing down gets pretty easy. Trenyan first Molded a large pack of ice on the closed door. That should keep it "locked" for a little minute. He then ran to one of the room's window, and smashed it. "Goodbye, mayor. Remember : the lives of the people of Baflee are in your hands. Sorry to put this weight on you, but just make sure those documents make it to the King. Now, goodbye!" The window was way too high to jump. Trenyan froze a part of the outside wall, and Molded an ice pole going straight down. He grabbed it, and jumped from the window. The small friction made him go down, and he strenghtened his grip as he approached the ground. He was on another side of the town hall, and no guards were there, so he went to the defensive wall, and easily climbed it to escape.
Ultima Weapon in KH1FM. I still haven't got it, because I don't even know what are the needed items. Can't read japansese, and tehre are no picutres, like in KH2. Also, the fact that you cannot redo battles. Especially Sephiroth ; why shouldn't we be able to fight him twice? It gets old to suicide after every battle just to do it again.
A few of the runners (which, Trenyan guessed, transported more bad news than good news) noticed the Crossbreed casually walking in the hall, but no one stopped to get a closer look. Trenyan suddenly realised that he'd better keep his secrecy. He held his cloak in one hand, and his scrolls in another. Upset at the thought that he exited his hiding place without his cloak, he put it on in the middle of the hallway. A few runners were perplexed at his behaviour, but once again, none came talk to him. As he pulled his hood over his eyes, Trenyan walked up to the guards in front of the mayor's room. "I bring news for the mayor", said Trenyan. "Are you new around here or what?" said a guard. "You don't bring the news directly to him. You must go to-..." "I'm not a new runner to the service of your city. I must give the mayor this", Trenyan said while showing his scrolls of paper. "Didn't you hear?!" shouted the second guard. "You do not let anything here." "Those scrolls are of extreme importance. If the mayor doesn't-..." "Are you deaf? Just give them to the receptionist at the other end of the hall. The mayor will get them later." "It can't be done. He must see them now. If he doesn't, people will die. This is very urgent." "Listen, kiddo, if you stay here for ten more seconds, I'll have you arrested." "Ten seconds is all I need with the mayor. Now let me in." "Didn't you hear? If you stay here-..." "...- for ten more seconds, you'll have me arrested. And you'll have the lives of hundreds of citizens of Baflee in your minds." "You dare defy my authority?!" yelle the more aggressive guard. "Yes. Now, will you let me in, or do I have to go through you?" "Do you have any idea what you're doing, or who you're dealing with?" "Don't know, don't care." The guard had lost its patience. He swung his halberd, but the weapon's size made it hit slowly. Trenyan had the time to raise his left hand, and mold a large ice claw-shaped glove around it. The claw blocked the halderd, Trenyan immediately pushed it aside, and punched the guard straight in the face. Quickly, he did so for the second guard, before he could grasp his weapon. They both fell unconscious from the shock of his ice claw. As the runners in the hall were shocked, and many went to call the guards at ground floor, Trenyan entered the mayor's room.

OOC : Trenyan is not in Cheslidair. It's too far away. He's in an "important city", closer to the forest. That's why the town hall is less defended, etc. EDIT : Whoops, saw your Edit. Ignore this post.
With the sun almost below the horizon, Trenyan had little trouble making his way to the town hall. He wore his black cloak, making him virtually invisible in the dark. The building itself wasn't very defended. It wasn't made for war, after all. Despite the few guards, climbing the defensive wall was no problem. "I made the right choice. Had I gone all the way to Cheslidair, I would've had much more trouble sneaking in the king's castle., thought Trenyan." There were large doors, but all guarded. Of course, if he wanted to fight, he would enter easily, but he needed to be subtle. The sun had set below the horizon, so Trenyan searched for a sneaky way to enter. He set his eyes on a balcony. Because of the many trees in the garden he was in, he found he could climb the tree and jump on the balcony. Trenyan's climbing skills weren't exceptionnal, but he had nothing to be ashamed of. He put his plan to action. Acting quickly, he hoped to avoid eye sight. Entering the halls of the building was an easy task. A room connected to the balcony was empty for the moment, but the door was open. There were only a few floors to the building, but it took Trenyan several minutes to climb the stairs. He had to peek through the door, locate the stairs, and then wait until the hall was empty. With the recent Lizard attacks, it seems everyone was busy. Eventually he was able to access the stairs. Taking off his cloak as to look less suspicious, Trenyan made his way to the highest floor. The mayor's room was guarded by two soldiers. More people circulated through the hall. Trenyan waited for the coast to be clear, but it seemed that there were countless runners bringing news. Also, hiding in the stairway was risky. Therefore, Trenyan just walked casually to the mayor's room.
Whoops, forgot to write Blaze. He survives, but he's more of a loner, so I'm not sure what'll happen to him. Also, good job on the report, Pezz. We can see a foreshadowing of Eclipse's future. And for Turpis, he shares Oriens' fate, ironically, sacrificing himself to save others. Maybe he should say something about this irony, just before dying.
Nah, I'll stay with one character. At least, unitl, and if I get a very interesting idea later on. Also, I have plans on my own *shifty eyes*...
We've pretty much been taking a break from the Desouls, but ideas still brew. Also, 358/2 Days came out, so I've been inspiring myself by watching the videos. By learning Day's story, we can make sure that our story works fine. I've been thinking a bit about the Keybladers, more specifically about thier deaths. Eclipse dies because she lets herself tricked by Xehanort. I realised that Sora is a bit naive himself, though, so he could learn from her mistakes. Oriens dies a hero, so his courage and skills must be remembered. Turpis... he does die, does him? Not too sure about him, I've assumed he dies at the end, but I don't remember what was planned for him. Rin is the only one who survives (unless Turpis does so as well). Because of that, I'd like her to be in serious danger at some point in the stroy, and by that, I mean "she almost died". That's because it's a bit odd that she's the only one to survive, with apparently no problem at all. This dangerous situation must occur after one or two other Keybladers die, because otherwise, no one will think she can die. Remember Goofy's "near death" from KH2? It's difficult to believe that he dies, since he's a main character. If, however, let's say Donald died 15 minutes earlier, that scene would've been taken much more seriously. Likewise, if Eclipse is shown dying, and then Rin is in a desperate situation, players will be worried about her. Also, Rin must develop a relationship with SRK. If she's the sole survivor, she should not seem like "a random character that just happened to survive". The scene someone proposed, with SRK going home to DI and find Rin watching the sunset, is a good start. And a thing about Xehanort. I don't know about you, but I always imagine him more like Master Xehanort... which he isn't. Xehanort himself, the young one, is not pure evil, and is actually a misguided good person. What I propose, is that Xehanort be portrayed as a very good, and a very bad person, at once. Give the players something to think about. I'm sure that we've discussed this already, at least a little bit, but I think it must really be serious. Who writes the Xehanort reports already? Or were we supposed to make them together?
It's been quite some time since Trenyan left the forest. As soon as he judged himself far away enough from the woods, he ran every second he had energy for. His wolf genes made him a good runner, but still, nothing compared to his wolf. An hour earlier, upon reaching the first village, his first reaction was surprise ; he had stumbled upon a village that wasn't yet burned down by the Lizards. Trenyan had borrowed a horse for Cheslidair. The sun was descending in the sky when he reached an important city of Baflee. Trenyan had to face the truth : no matter how fast went, he could not reach Cheslidair, arrange a meeting with the King, and go back to the forest. The capital of Baflee turned out to be farther than he expected. However, Trenyan had a plan. And it had to remain secret. But if all went well, he could really make a difference... while travelling on horse, he thought over his plan, and decided to put it in action. But first, he had to give the notes he's taken. While his mind was complaining about the seemingly endless stream of detours he needs to take before reaching Ilianam, Trenyan added information about his plan to his notes. Whoever reads his scrolls will have an idea of the Lizards' plans, and also of what will Trenyan do. He omitted his name, or any information that could retrace him, because he had to keep a secret identity. As for the Shaper... Trenyan hoped he made the right decision by delivering him the plans. Flame Burst should be near Triwn by now. Unfortunately, the Shaper will know nothing of Trenyan new plan of action. Too bad. He can't change it now. Now, Trenyan set his eyes on the town hall of the city he was in. Why go all the way to Cheslidair, when he could give the plans to a very important politician that rules this city, and will inform the King on the spot? Doubtless it will be easier to "arrange" a meeting with him, too. Flame Burst, with his master's scrolls still attached to its back, had ran a lot, and was tired. He'd need to take a rest somewhere, before going back to the forest. The smell of the Shaper, although difficult to remember, was definitely strong. There was another smell too. He was really close. Flame Burst, sniffing frequently, walked towards the direction of the two smells, knowing he'll bump in the Shaper at any moment. OOC : Damn, it's 2 AM AGAIN!!! I'd better go, before I doom myself to wake up when everyone comes back from school tomorrow.
